leaving a lil rant here :]

I love Tim and his ships sm. Me personally, I only really ship TimKon. Those two are perfect for eachother and have so much clear queer coding that it’s crazy, and they have dialogue that’s just. gay shaped.

I also get TimBart, I don’t ship it romantically but I get why people do!! Tim and Bart are close as well, and the balance they get between ‘depressed tired wet cat’ and ‘living breathing embodiment of adhd’ is great.

I also get TimBartKon, they’re a trio. They are always a trio, so many people like to bring up how TimKon has so much coding and one of the big examples they use is when Tim tried to clone Kon. You know who else he tried to clone? Bart.

The only Tim ship I don’t get is TimBern, or any ship involving those two. When Bernard first appears, he’s Tim’s bully. He actively makes fun of tim and puts him down and then that character is forgotten about until Tim comes out as bi, then they just rework his character and go “haha guys this is his boyfriend not bully ygs are crazy” and just forget about all the bad stuff Bernard did? Reworking a character is great and all but, it just feels a bit weird and out of place for me. There’s always going to be that certain toxicity for TimBern, at least for me.

okay, im gonna start off by saying you have all the right to not ship them, and im not here to defend timbern as a ship. im here to defend BERNARD DOWD.

first thing bernard does is give tim advice about teachers, and he clearly says they're gonna be good friends.

if bernard was a bully, tim wouldn't hang around him so much. besides, i hate it when people place tim as a helpless little boy who would get bullied. he has put himself in situations where he looks weak on purpose to keep his identity safe, but he's not a victim at all. tim is a social butterfly because he's really good at masking and reading people.

not to mention, both bernard and darla push tim a lot because they're trying to get him to open up and be closer to them, but he keeps pushing them away. tim is a professional liar.

and when tim has to quit robin and start hanging out with normal people, he invites bernard over.

and bernard is acting relatively normal, and he wants to play video games and talk about how hot tim's stepmom is.

bernard is a normal teenager who has no idea one of his friends is the hero he's so obsessed with. he even shows concern for robin dying and makes up an entire conspiracy theory about batman havin a robin orphanage. you can tell he's afraid of robin being gone for real because at this point they haven't seen robin in months bc tim retired.

i dont know what about all of these interactions gave you the vibe that he's a bully because all i see is a normal teenager teasing his friends and being jealous tim gets more bitches.

im not saying that bernard was never mean or weird around tim, but he definitely wasn't actively bullying tim.

bernard is obnoxious and cocky, yes. but thats just because they wrote him as a real person. he's the school's chameleon, maybe even a little bit of a loser, too. he knows everyone but keeps a safe distance so that he doesn't get pushed into a box. im not sure if, at this point, he was already in a cult or being indoctrinated, but when we see his parents and the dowd home in tim drake: robin that just doesn't look right.

also homie talk about "forgetting all the bad things bernard did" (which in my opinion is none but okay lets follow that logic) everyone forget about all the bad things batman did to tim, he was not a kind and loving mentor, he was cruel to both tim and steph. we forget that batman was kind of an asshole to damien in the beginning. all those things are forgotten for the sake of the batfam.

in conclusion: we're just so used to the idea that superheroes can only ever form strong friendship bonds by having near death experiences together that we forget that the secret identifies exist and that the people who know them by their legal name also means a lot to them. after all, these people are the reason why they're heroes.

Arent You A Little Old? TFS, Peter Pan, Peter and The Starcatchers, Starstuff and The Stardust Spider

So, keeping in mind all of the Peter Pan references in ST (including Peter Pan being on the S4 board), I stumbled across some information from the 2004 Peter Pan prequel novel, Peter and the Starcatchers- specifically, I stumbled across something called Starstuff, which is basically stardust that resulted in a.) Peter Pan not aging and b.) him being able to fly (both of which we’ll come back to):

(Peter and the Starcatchers was also a play- a prequel play, just like TFS)

And so, I’m staring at “starstuff” versus “the stardust spider,” which is Henry’s superhero name in TFS- and I’m also staring at that connection and Starstuff causing Peter Pan not to age vs all of the weird age/aging stuff in TFS, such as Brenner not aging between 1959 and 1979, Patty saying “aren’t you a little bit old for that” re: Captain Mindnight to Henry, Henry being 14 instead of 12, etc etc etc

There’s also the fact that Starstuff allowed Peter Pan to fly, versus Brenner telling El that she’ll need to fly:

And so, considering what I said re: how Starstuff preventing aging, I’m staring at the shadow particles in TFS but I’m ALSO staring at the unexplained light particles from S4 (and their stardust vibes), and I have to wonder how THOSE particles AND the shadow particles connect to all of this/all of the weird aging stuff in ST…

Do the shadow particles accelerate aging or prevent it? What do the light particles do?

When Will was flayed, Owens talked about how the shadow replicates like a virus- does it affect the replication of any other cells? And how does that connect to regen healing vs aging vs lack of aging etc etc????

I don’t know what’s going on but there’s Something here!!

And anyway, going back to Peter and The Starcatchers, there’s also some other connections between that and TFS.

For example, in Peter and the Starcatchers, the name of one of the ships in Peter and The Starcatchers was The Wasp:

Versus The Wasp Woman being on one of the movie posters for TFS:

And Eddie Munson’s WASP pin (which is especially interesting considering a.) Eddie Munson’s other connections to Peter Pan such as him hiding out at Skull Rock and b.) Eddie Munson delivering subtext for Edward Creel):

And there’s also William Slank, who works with Little Richard, which makes me think of all of the weird Will-Brenner connections in TFS versus Richard Brenner:

And there’s also the trunk full of Starstuff versus the box that TFS Henry found in the cave that supposedly changed Henry in the same way that Brenner Sr got changed:

And there’s also The Others in Peter Pan and The Starcatchers- The Others are people that want to use Starstuff for their own corrupt means (which lowkey makes me wonder if shadow particles are light particles that have been corrupted somehow, but anyway) versus the use of the word “others” in ST:

- when he first met you he through you were gorgeous but didn’t understand your style, I mean look at him, he blows stuff up and his wild while you look so calm and collected. It took a minute and a little bonk on the head from Roadhog for him to apologize and grumble about how it was not a rude thing.

- it took a minute for junkrat to realize how much he actually cared about you and loved you more than just a person who he knows. ( even if you tried to show your feelings i bet he oblivious about how love is and just think your trying to butter up to him.”

- “ Hey! you! do you want to go out with me! Like just me! I promise I won’t blow anything up! Just with you.” He pointed a finger at you as he almost look defensive, “ cmon me promising of not blowing stuff up is like.. never a thing!” He whines at you as you just gave him a raise of an eyebrow and a tilt of the head.

- that turned out to be a lie, he set the restaurant on fire on “accident;” apologizing profusely to you about how he didn’t mean to. The look he gave you look like a kitten who just got dumped in a bath.

- Sometimes you’ll find him touch your black clothing or going through your accessories glancing against all of them trying to feel them all the time because of the sensation of how the feeling is, there definitely a moment where he will try to put your clothing on, only to realize that it not his size which a pout and a huff would increase.

- anytime he accidentally mess up your clothing or rips it, he will try to go to Mei without you noticing your clothing and beg her to sew it up, and if Mei feels nice or mean and leaves him to accept his fate you can bet he will sleep on the couch thinking you don’t want the one person who destroyed your expensive clothing.

- you will always be around Jamison before he can cause massive chaos insured by you giving a little tug on his clothing and a look of “ that not the right time.” Which he will listen to you no matter what.

- sometimes he will grab your hand no matter how soft or rough it is and slowly put your hand on his just feeling and looking at the size of each other hand. “ you know… i appreciate you sometimes, DONT TELL ANYONE. But it true.” Cues him giggling like a school girl when you gave him a smile and nodded.

I agree Jordan Marie and cate are the best most interesting characters if they're going to kill someone it should be Andre like you said he's useless and also unlikable as a person lmfao he ain't doing anything right. I love cate and I love villains so whatever way they go with her as long as it's believable I'm all for it. My thing with them killing more characters is because we're in the endgame now as in the boys probably has 2 more seasons to go and they're also going to start killing a lot of people like by the end I expect most of the main supes and at least half of the boys to be dead so as the gen v characters get pulled into that they're also going to start getting killed off but idc they better not touch Jordan and Marie I'm not kidding I already have hives thinking about stranger things maybe killing Steve in the last season I don't need this 😂😂😂😂

i genuinely didn’t expect them to pivot on cate’s character bc i really thought they’d stick with cate wanting to be good/wanting to be a hero, trying to earn her friends’ trust back, but i’m SOOO glad that they’re going the villain/anti-hero route. especially with marie and cate now on opposing sides and them basically being each other’s narrative foils, like i need them to go full on villain with cate like it’s just too good a set up for a really complex relationship between marie and cate.

*sighs* okay so my thing with andre is that he COULD’VE been a really interesting character. like, daddy issues, bisexual, doesn’t really care about being a superhero and lowkey in love with his best friend (the writers are cowards for not making the throuple happen) like there were so many ways his character could’ve been done, but then he ended up being a stereotypical nepo baby. it’s kinda like the writers put little to no effort in his character development and didn’t even try to make him likable 😭 he just constantly gets thrown around by the other characters, he slept with his best friend’s girlfriend, and he’s just kind of a dick in general. really the only thing i found really genuine and likable about andre was his love for luke, and to a certain extent, cate. but beyond that, he’s just not a very sympathetic character to me idk 😭

honestly, i’m not suuper attached to any of the boys characters, maybe it’s bc i always end up taking super long breaks between binge watching but if they decided to start killing off main characters, i think i’d be fine (except kimchie or starlight pls don’t touch them thx) but THEY BETTER NOT TOUCH MARIE OR JORDAN OR I’M STARTING A RIOT IN THE PRIME VIDEO BUILDING FR like you could even take cate from me just dont touch limoreau…

i’m gonna be honest, i kinda wish gen v was less tied into the boys and got to stand on its own more bc i really need homelander to stay FARRRRRR away from marie and jordan and cate. butcher too. but also bc i really liked the college setting but seeing as how we now know the entire college is a scam, it might completely move away from godolkin, which is a shame bc i loved the superhero college-sky high esque concept of it and i wish we had gotten MORE of it before we got into all the plot heavy stuff but…it is what it is ig 🤷🏼‍♀️

thesis— if it’s something mike thinks will hurt el, he would never do it.

that was when he felt lost, powerless, frustrated, and resentful about his relationship, and caught up in those emotions. all things he could very well be when kissing will in a heat of a moment, especially if he’d just found out his real feelings are requited.

okay so this is actually a very interesting point to make because rink-o-mania is pretty much our only example of el trying to start conflict with el (other than the body scene in s1 but that wasnt really about el so i dont count it)

rink-o-mania’s events are very interesting because, in terms of mike, i think two major things are going down in his head regarding el:

1. one thing mike holds to himself is that violence should only be used in defense of others.

we never see him use it for himself, and the only time he ever instigates violence is in the gym with troy after watching will get made fun of (which is a great example of how his will isn’t absolute and it has bent for will in the past, so i won’t deny that the cheating scenario is possible because of stuff like this). later on, what we see from mike is that he recognizes el’s situation in rink-o-mania, and in general, as something he understands and has experiences but he never went so far as to hurt someone

here’s the thing though: mike didn’t hear angela’s comment about hopper. with fighting for will, we see that there’s some leniency to this internal rule he has and he’d probably be a lot more understanding of what happened if he knew that what caused her to snap wasn’t the being pushed down and teased but rather having her dead father made fun of. i’ve talked about it before, but mike’s route to understanding others is through connecting their experiences to his own. mike saw himself in el at rink-o-mania but he doesn’t understand how she’d resort to violence, but if he knew about what they’d said afterwards he’d be able to recognize much more clearly why she snapped the way she did

2. el had broken this preconceived image mike has of her.

a lot of mike’s admiration and dedication to el comes from the way she was able to protect him and his friends in s1 and that her sense of justice seemed to match up with his own but she was a superhero who could do the things he found himself unable to. in doing everything i just said above, she broke that image of herself in mike’s mind because mike doesn’t really know her. he’s living in an image of her, which may have some truth to it, but he also internally holds her to very high standards as a result.

when he goes to make amends with her (before it turns into a fight) he’s not really asking about rink-o-mania. it sorta seems like he’s brushing that part of the day under the rug, but he does ask why she felt like she had to hide her genuine situation from him. i think he tries to move past it because he eventually gets over his own initial reaction

what all that means is that a certain part of mike’s morality took the forefront when he saw what el did because she also broke his internal concept of who she is and why she does things the way she does. the extremes she went to with angela were not even things he would go to with troy, but in el’s world the scale of violence looks so incredibly different that their interpretations of such a thing aren’t even comparable.

because all of this lines up for mike to be willing to be bitchy with el, i don’t really see a situation like you described where cheating would work. a different type of morality took the forefront at rink-o-mania alongside his image of el being cracked, but that wouldn’t be the case in a situation with will

i did say earlier, however, that we have seen mike break his own code over his love for will. that, imo, is a better example of him falling into the hands of emotion. so it’s definitely possible, but we have seen mike choose el’s happiness over a potential relationship with will before at the end of s3. he’s had chances to be with will before when he thought his feelings were requited but when el kissed him that possibility flew out of the window (and i know this doesn’t make sense if you don’t follow my posts but it’s an entirely separate analysis that i’ll gladly make if you’d like). i just don’t think we’ve been built in the direction of canon cheating and i think mike’s internal pressure to make el happy has been around so intensely and constantly for so long it would be sort of strange for it to just break because of his own desires when we know that isn’t something that motivates his actions

BUT again i could see it as a possibility if the writers did things a little differently

do i really need to say anything. do i really. ~ Autism he has,,,,,,, an issue with textures and social interaction and just yknow gives off those v i b es ~ Autism He misses social cues, mostly black and white thinking, especially towards the beginning of the series, strong morals, has stated he doesn’t like/struggles with change, etc etc ~ Autism HE CANONICALLY DOESN’T LIKE VELVET HE CANONICALLY HAS TEXTURE/SENSORY ISSUES. His whole arc with the oversea is so autism coded (with not understanding things everybody else around him thinks is common knowledge even if it’s never been explained to him before). But ALSO HE TOTALLY HAS INTRUSIVE/IMPULISVE THOUGHTS he canonically has ‘blasphemous’ type thoughts (wanting to steal lemons with his friends even if it’s against his oath), plus there’s NO WAY he doesn’t have violent type intrusive thoughts about hurting his loved ones NO WAY. plus his overall stubbornness of not letting go of his oath and general struggles with change is so so so autism coded of him. ~ Autism and OCD Gillion is literally so autistic. He misses social cues and is easily deceived. He also hates lying and is overall a very honest guy! he repeats certain phrases like ‘it is my destiny!’ which are actually vocal stims cause i said so. Could all of this be explained by him not having a childhood and never learning anythning other than fight? yup! Am i saying all of this cause im like that? yeah! and im autistic :D also hes very cool and thats also a sign of autism ~ Autism being put through years of (training) torture can cause anxiety especially at the young age he was ive also seen him just do random shit which gives off the idea that he’s not reliant on social cues, for example; jumping out windows, kissing a man (chip), or just going off to do his own thing which is a thing i do alot,,not kissing men,,,or jumping out winows yet but hes not reliant on social cues, he also ties his hair up, and i know he didnt do it in the first design but sometimes my sensory issues go away and come back randomly like a vacation for those bastards anyway another thing with the anxiety autism and anxiety are both very common together like autism and adhd! thats all i got but i can go way more in depth ~ Autism and Anxiety Gillion fishman nuerospicy asf and I need ppl to share in my hc that he has ocd look at him. He’s my little chaos boy and he needs to be kept safe and cozy please. dont let him down. protecc. win. ~ Autism and ADHD Grizzly has stated both in PD episodes and in the rolled that Dakota does not know how to process complex emotions. Like, at all. He is also constantly flirting from one idea to the next in a way that is common in ADHD. I would like to spin him around in a microwave ~ Autism and ADHD I like them a lot :333 ~ Autism and OCD super hero hyperfixation, canonically has sensory issues, tendency to have black and white morality (and also sticks to that moral code strictly). also you can argue that when he went feral due to overstimulation, that was just a meltdown that got supercharged by his heart. ~ Autism Dakota has repeatedly had trouble/stated that he can’t read. While this could be to the vision loss that he needs glasses for in season two, it could just as easily be attributed to dyslexia ~ Dyslexia

I am sad and disheartened even though it's about a fictional character, I needed someone to share it with who can understand, I was roaming around the internet, reading stuff about Natasha. I have seen a lot of stuff mocking nat, her abilities, her usability, tweets joking about her guns against aliens ( how wrong), her running around whilst the other avengers are "flying",... Not to forget, the ones resuming her only by her titties and ass, then there was a tweet by a WANDA( WOMAN)Stan saying she would have been a run through, cum dumpster if the MCU was ok with sex scenes & the truly sad part is how everyone was laughing at that. It's sad to see that Natasha not only had been done dirty by marvel but also the audience.

The funny part is a lot of people believe that yelena is a better character than nat, of course she would be, no one let nat to be more than an ass and titties as if though the whole screentime she got in the MCU was just a steamy photo session. I got a lot to say about the sexualization part I don't know how to put it in words, it's a lot

OMG- please you can rant to be abt it all the time please. I’ve been ranting about this for DAYSSSS IM SO GLAD SOMEONE ELSE FELT THE SAME.

First of its sad (yet not surprising) that a Wanda stan said that. They always let down other women in order to bring her up. That’s why there was a phase where i hated Wanda because of her fans (dont come at me ok seriously on tiktok they wont stfu).

Literally the coolest thing about Nat is the fact that she has no powers but get shit done, A LOT. Everyone has their preferences, but literally how can you not see how cool she is?!!

Natasha Romanoff, no powers but will not hesitate to charge into battles with other superheroes. Homegirl only had one, let me emphasize this ONE parachute yet mf just jumped from THOUSANDS of feet in the air. Knowing she could’ve died but she’s such a pure soul so she did so without any second thought. HOW ARE U NOT IN LOVE WITH HER ALREADY?!!

I truly trullyyy do love Natasha, she’s a fictional character, but omg she’s like so cool and everything. But like u said she was done so dirty by Marvel and the audience. (which is why i like to say, ppl who love Natasha is literally the coolest ppl ever. I aint joking, other superheroes are easy to like, but natasha is for legends only)

Im very sad for Scarlett too, the way she got overly sexualized especially in the early days of the MCU. Then when she finally got her solo movie, her character got thrown off a cliff BEFORE HER SOLO MOVIE CAME OUT and ppl constantly said Yelena stole the movie. Look i love Yelena, but this aint about her. Please, let Nat have one thing, but she really can’t can’t she?? Literally have some more respect for Scarlett.

And another cool thing about Nat is the fact that she kept her heart even after all the traumatic childhood she went through as a child. People love to say Wanda had the saddest life, but so did Nat. We all know what the red room is basically mirroring in real life, marvel won’t say it but we know what it is. They both have sad traumatic past, but Natasha kept her heart. And after going through all of that?!!! I dont know how one could but here she is!!!

She was taken as a child, put in a mission where she had a taste of what a normal life would be, ripped away from her and had to be put in the red room again. Found a family with the avengers yet they never seemed to care much abt her don’t they? Found her sister but then her sister was snapped, and then had to lead the Avengers for 5 years because idk wtf the others were doing. AND THEN SHE DIED WTF MARVEL WTFFF?!

Anyway im so sorry, i could rant about this all day. God i love her sm you don’t understand 🥲🥲

Alright. Since we are going through a drought, here are some ideas and my opinions on certain tropes and what not

also I’m only tagging this with the redacted, nomad, scythe, etc. tags because I want everyone’s opinion

Medieval ideas:

The listener as a Court Jester who also just so happens to be on the king/queens court. Doesn’t have to be romantic but knock yourselves out.

Royal listener who, something like Desmond, actually has a vivid storyline and not just a “I’m a knight and your a royal, love between us tis forbidden!” Now, while I don’t mind that, it’s a bit done and I wanna see something more original come from it.

adding onto this ^, also not just a storyline where the listener is like the kings mage, or a peasant, or literally anything that’s lower than them.

Superhero stuff:

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. STOP GIVING THE VILLAINS AND HEROS THE MOST CLICHE NAMES. I DONT WANNA KEEP HEARING “Phoenix” or “Blaze” or even fucking “Shade” THEYRE OVERUSED. STOP IT.

Do something like Scythe where it’s got a really good plot and is heavily lore based while still being fun to listen to

Also, Villains x Heros or any variant of that is fine IF you do it right. I’m over the whole “Villain but really a good guy” or “this isn’t like you.” Last one speaks for itself

Any sort of fantasy:

Most elven stuff is actually really good and you could do a fair amount with it. Just elven in general

Mermaids like Obsidian Lantern does it. Like not more of the whole “I’m wounded, help.” Yes, im aware Obi’s mermay was that cliche but he did it differently

I’m good with pirates but I can’t totally describe what’s been done to much and not enough, the like is a bit blurred

Folk lore. Had been done but never enough and almost never in a good way

For the love of everything. STOP MAKING ENEMIES TO LOVES A BULLY. MAKE IT INTERESTING. LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE IS GOOD.

Now. There are some tropes that I feel like you can’t really do anything with because it’s so overused

by no means is this comprehensive and some plots are vague so we can build on it more. you can consider this a jumping off point for when we're plotting and we're having trouble coming up with something. source link is my muse page for reference. absolutely ask more about a muse if you want more information. while most of these are slice-of-life plots, i will absolutely give supernatural, fantasy (modern or historical), & crime verses upon request.

right so remember when i said he's based on mik.e r.oss from suits. :3 i do think a m.ike / r.achel type of ship would be fun... to me personally ..... percy should suffer, really, is what im saying. tl;dr y/m also works at the same corporate law firm and after a while of a push/pull type thing with percy, they get together ! and then much too late y/m finds out that percy has been essentially lying about who he is (re: does Not have a law degree and has never gone to harvard). angst ! fun !

alternatively, maybe indulge me in a little superhero type plot .... yeah lets pull a daredevil <3 percy & y/m run a shitty law firm together and percy is a masked vigilante at night.

supernatural that has been a supernatural creature for longer and helps shion understand what he is (a ghoul) and is just genuinely nice to him and wants to see him survive

a hunter that works in the same supernatural hunting organization that his family does and is tracking him down. why? angst <3

supernatural that sees shion, a brand new half-ghoul, as an opportunity / something to exploit. maybe shion is exactly the perfect alibi they need because he's found himself investigating supernatural deaths now. idfk.

kazuharu miya / bodyguard + underground fighter / 30 / he / werewolf

sorry i am by design a sucker for bodyguard/person that they are guarding ships. give. additional reasons for giving me this : the who did this to you trope.

for you historical fantasy nerds : let haru be your muse's loyal knight. perhaps they met when haru was young and ur muse was never meant to be next in line to the throne but things happened that propelled y/m into the role of the kingdom's ruler and who better to have by your side than your childhood best friend who will take a sword for you without question?

also a sucker for people bandaging haru's dumbass up after fights.

they met years ago when naomi was still in the fbi and were partners (i mean literally, they worked together, but they could have been partners). your muse is considered dead. while naomi is working a case as a PI he comes upon something that leads them to find your muse, alive. cue angst heartbreak reconnection

haha your muse is a criminal. naomi is tasked with finding them/taking them down. he thought this case was going to be small and easy but it quickly unravels into something much bigger than expected. game of cat and mouse. at eachother’s throats. one of them always one step ahead of the other.

you: give me a superhero/powered character. me: gives you a PI that is hired to investigate something that said powered person is involved in. chaos <3

nuri jeong / actor + stuntperson / 35 / they

dysfunctional celeb couple

your character does not know who nuri is and nuri is absolutely fucking elated by that. can be platonic/antagonistic

ldr :') they were together for a year and then your muse has to move for job or family or something else 12 timezones away and nuri can’t go with them because they have their own responsibilities here so they decide theyll try this LDR thing and for the first few months its going great even if it means theyre both sacrificing sleep and their health but then it starts getting a little worse and they dont call as often and theyre starting to have doubts and one of them decides enough is enough and goes on a little trip to see the other without telling them and thats as far as i got

december kelley / event photographer / 25 / they / vampire

ember meets ur muse at a wedding they are photographing (someone in the bridal party? grooms party? one of the people that is getting married? who knows.... heh...) and they hit it off... perhaps better than the marrying couple themselves

ember's gf that turned them into a vampire.... maybe she isnt dead ! maybe she went into hiding. whatever. ember's pissed now because how dare you turn them into a vampire and then abandon them?

wedding cake baker... idk its just fun to me...

okay stay with me here. give me lochan's ex-fiancé. the fiancé broke it off because they thought she wasn’t giving them enough time. they find eachother again. lochanwants to get back together because of course she does. whether your muse agrees or doesnt is up to you but personally i’d love to explore the fall of their relationship and the rebuilding of it and the hesitance and the angst and everything that comes with it.

LOL. REBOUND!!! she deserves a little bit of a rebound. maybe it’s only one night maybe it lasts a month. maybe they stay friends after maybe they don’t maybe they were always in love with her and she sees them as temporary.

your muse work’s in the same department as lochan at the same university (or hospital works too?? we're flexible) :) a little bit of a rivalry. for fun :) maybe its more :)

lochan and your muse made a pact when they were in their twenties that if they aren’t married by forty, then they’d marry each other. with 40 close, your muse contacts lochan after over a decade of not talking. they meet up, start talking again, discuss how the pact was silly and they fall in love anyway :)

he deserves some sci-fi things. perhaps some fantasy things, even.

Hey Marinette and Adrien salter here. feel free to ignore if you dont wanna read negative stuff >,<

Until now I thought both are equally bad characters bc they dont seem to care for each other but reading your posts I changed my mind on Marinette a bit.

They are a team so I always expected them both to be kind to each other but Marinette is sometimes very harsh to him. Since Cat Noir is also Adrien I saw her as superficial like how can you love and dislike the same person at the same time??? Dont get me wrong tho, I never liked how Cat Noir pursued Ladybug. I just thought "well Adrien is Cat Noir and if Marinette ACTUALLY knew his real self she would not like him. She only likes the character traits that she can see, she doesn't dig deeper.

Reading some of your posts i thought a little about their realtionship and I feel like Adrien shouldnt have a miraculous. I didnt watch SE 4 but when he put that ring down in kuroneko...dude...is a potential relationship with ladybug really the only reason you were a superhero? You cant just enjoy the time you spend together and be happy with that? What a slap in the face.

Marinette deserves a better partner. I hope she will eventually realize what kind of guy Adrien is...

Thank you for sending an ask and sharing your view on things. I used to be a LS shipper and then Season 2 & 3 hit and I realized that something wasn’t right. I realized just how targeted Marinette was by the writing and it upset me greatly. She apologizes more than anyone else in the show.

(If you go to miraculous content’s blog they have gone through the entire show and made a chart to show the ratio of how many times Marinette apologizes compared to the other characters and it’s HUGE)

To be fair though, I started having inklings in Season 1 as well. The writing is so targeted towards Marinette that most people fall for the writing and began hating her. It’s designed to make her look bad and make things her fault even if it doesn’t make sense.

Like Gamer in Season 1. It’s framed to make her look bad for taking Max’s spot but the thing is, it was never his spot. It was a competition and he was still competing. Marinette may have entered to play with Adrien but that’s not bad. She barely ever got to spend time with him because of his schedule but because it was for Adrien she was found to be wrong.

How? She entered fairly, played fairly, and won fairly. Even Max said so, even though he was bitter and a sore loser about it. And what about the people who lost the competition before Marinette entered, none of them got akumatized. And what if Max beat any friends of his who were also in the competition? You don’t see anyone get bitter, just him.

Thomas has already admitted that Marinette has to learn a lesson ever episode, so he’s basically saying that Marinette is wrong every episode. But the thing is, she isn’t. If this was a show for small children I’d say ok. But it’s not and Thomas knows it’s not. The show depicts Marinette trying her hardest trying to change herself but either she’s not believed or she’s dismissed and forced into interacting with Adrien.

And yet Thomas says Adrien is perfect and he knows that’s not true either but the writing tries and fails to show Adrien as morally right. Adrien’s social understanding is low, how can he be morally right in situations he’s never experienced.

It’s a double standard that’s designed to make Marinette look like the bad guy even though she didn’t do anything wrong. I implore you to rewatch the episodes, or read other people’s analysis for Marinette’s side of things to get a better perspective of things.

— Butter and Tweek are practically besties , they don’t like talking about villian things in public spaces but when they’re on the lair

They and the rest of butters villian team start to plan evil stuff. Mostly bank robberies or occasional arson. Tweek isn’t as interested as world dominations a Butter is but his there to support him anyway.

Team Z.I.T often picks fights with villains when they are doing mundane everyday tasks such as getting coffee, not realizing that they are the ones who technically caused the damages as a result

heck yeah!! i love me some good hero/villian aus, and this is really good, it fits everyone's vibes and themes in s7!

Grian's powers reminds me a lot of Monoma's from BNHA lol- also it seems kinda op in a way? maybe he can mimic it but its less powerful as the original power? and cleo being able to ducplicate multiple limbs is so cool (lots of potential jokes-)
