If I ever had the time to make a comic it would be about a world where all nature is giant and humans are prey, and their cities and towns get destroyed so often that no real progress beyond midevil technology has been made.
Some beasts are magical, there is a girl who was raised by magical beasts and has latent powers.
There is essentially a massive organization of 'hunters' who offer protection from beasts in exchange for very steep pay, but in reality the hunters found ways to somewhat control beasts and use it for control.
Beast lady is a fisher-woman, which is very impressive because fish are massive, and she is very strong because of magical beast blood. She meets a dude who wants to be a priest, his religion says that you can hone your mind to a point of elightenment and rise into the afterlife. Unenlightened people simple die.
He is on a journey to visit teachers as a last task to become a priest/teacher.
He meets beast lady, and after her 'grandfather' (dude who found her as a young girl and raised her) dissapears after his town is destroyed by hunters, and agrees to help her find him.
Thus ensues an adventure of hiding from scary monsters and evading hunters, working on the secrets of the hunters, beast lady's powers, and the world itself.
There is fun magic stuff, basically beast lady's powers arise from when she is in high levels of stress. Basically she starts to revert to a more animalistic form.
Dragon Ball Z is my main inspiration. Beast lady is inspired by Goku, and priest guy is inspired by Bulma.
I'll never have the time to make this comic but if I ever do it would be cool.

the great irony of early one piece antagonists believing zoro was the actual captain and using luffy as a puppet ... oda really threw us a bone and curb-stomped it right in our faces. yes, zoro could be a captain in his own right. yes, zoro could match luffy in strength. yes, zoro knows this perfectly well. and you know what? he chose luffy two years ago, and he will continue to choose luffy again and again. roronoa zoro, the pirate hunter, who followed a wannabe pirate with a nonexistent crew on a whim because luffy brought him his swords and made a half-assed attempt at a bargain. zoro, who made a vow to never lose again on both his and luffy's honor. zoro, who told luffy he'd make him commit harakiri if he got in the way of zoro's goal, only to turn around and be willing to sacrifice his dream if it means that luffy reaches his. zoro, who stood in place and took luffy's pain and told a warlord to take his head instead of luffy's, who got down on his knees before his supposed rival and begged mihawk to mentor him so that he could return strong enough to protect his captain. zoro, who has conqueror's haki- a natural born leader- but chooses to stay at the right hand of a man he has deemed greater than himself.
and the thing that luffy fears most? being alone. being rejected. being left behind. and what should have been his foil- the pirate hunter to his pirate king, the nonbeliever to his divine, the king of hell to his sun god- instead becomes his first and most devout follower; the one who demands to follow him to hell and back. oughhhggg i'm sick to my stomach

I don't think Kenshi and Kung Lao should be left alone unsupervised for too long
Also both Raiden and Johnny having lines about being into Kitana when she doesn't seem interested in either of them is hilarious

After recent events, I ended up going back to the beginning to check things, because my first reaction will always be "wtf, this is shit, why would you do this" and my second reaction will always be "okay maybe that was a bit much, maybe he's not THAT bad, maybe has a good reason-
Okay.. that doesn't rly mean anything, maybe she's just worried kaito found something he shouldn't-
Okay.. okay this looks, well maybe he's just leaving some recordings in case kaito found something he shouldn't! It's not like they can hide it forever! The room is part of the house! Kaito lives in the house-
Excuse me... What did .. what did you say...? Wha
What do you mean "designed"?
What??? What do you MEAN "designed to open after 8 years"???
I have been angry since April 12th and I've reached a point where I don't even know what to feel anymore I don't even know what to tell y'all.
Like, wow, omg, movie reveals. Other than family relations, the other thing isn't exactly anything new. We've all read Midnight Crow. We saw Kaitou Corbaeu. We've been in denial until finally reaching acceptance. For me at least. And then we spend a few years bargaining, bc surely there's a good reason kaitos not in the know. That kaito has to be KID. Surely there's a reason? Right?
Right???
At this point we don't even truly know if Jii is in the know and was acting as planned out by the parents or not. Or if he's just like kaito. Tricked, lied to, played for fools. At the very least ginzo doesn't know, so there's that. Not sure how much that would help kaito when he inevitably finds out. Because he will. The fact remains that it's quite suspicious that Jii just so happen to choose to don the KID outfit and become KID to draw out toichis murderers exactly 8 years after toichis death. EXACTLY the same amount of time that was set for that trap door portrait to open to kaito.
There's a lot of implications to think about
