Summary: Being a professional boyfriend on SVTHub is great - all Vernon has to do is respond to a few texts, send out a couple selfies, do a stream every now and then, and he makes enough to cover tuition. Things get a little tricky when he finds himself wishing he actually was your boyfriend.

Vernon sighs as he opens up SVTHub, knowing he has at least three messages that ask, “Would you still love me if I was a worm?”

His answer will, of course, be “Yes and I would make you a cute little worm house in a jar and take you with me everywhere,” when he really wants to say, ”No I wouldn’t, because I don't know you at all and worms have a very short life expectancy.”

But this is the life he’s created for himself; getting paid to act like a boyfriend comes with answering cliche boyfriend questions. He’s scrolling through messages, answering good morning and goodnight texts with an appropriate selfie, when one message catches his eye, or actually, wow, 5 messages, all from one person.

Vernon tilts his head, considering how to answer. It’s a bit weird that you sought out a pretend boyfriend to tell these things to but he can’t say the messages aren’t more entertaining than the usual ones. And, honestly, snails are effervescent.

Vernon answers some messages from other users; badbitchesrus is having friend group drama again and he’s dying to tell her, “you’re the problem,” but a boyfriend wouldn’t say that so he just agrees, saying, “you’re so right, Jen did copy ur fit last night but u did it better baby.” He replies to a few selfies with paragraphs of fire and heart eye emojis, and sends out a couple ‘hope ur day gets better babygirl’s.

Clicking out of the app, Vernon tries to force himself to focus on studying. He’s got a music theory quiz this week and a sound design exam next week and he’s not prepared for either. His fingers tap out a rhythm on his knee as he runs over scales in his head, swearing to himself after missing the last sharp in B major for the fourth time. He’s about to pull out his keyboard for manual practice when his phone dings with a message, the tone telling him it's SVTHub. His head hits the back of his chair, hoping beyond hope it’s not another worm message, and he smiles in surprise when he sees it’s from you.

His phone goes off again, another thought from you.

Happy to be distracted, Vernon settles in to ask you some questions and hopefully get some movie recommendations.

Before Vernon can respond, he gets another message, from bbygrill99 this time. She’s requesting an ab pic, her third this week, and he wonders why she’s so obsessed with his abs when his ass is great too, but complies nonetheless. Lifting his shirt, he tenses his abdominals and tilts his phone to get the perfect angle, his bottom lip just barely in frame and his gray sweats sitting low on his hips. He’s been trying to drink more water because apparently you need it to survive, so his abs aren’t as defined as usual and he hopes she doesn’t say anything. He sends the picture out with a kiss emoji and saves it to his folder of lewds, hoping he’ll be able to reuse it.

He’s very intrigued by the idea of threats to increase productivity, and asks you more questions. This turns out to be counterproductive as it leads to a whole conversation that makes him laugh all the way through, and consequently, he doesn’t get any more work done.

It’s almost time for his weekly goodnight stream, and Vernon’s still thinking about your last conversation. You’d lured him into a debate about living as a pigeon or living with pigeons, and he still wasn’t sure who’d won. You hadn’t sent him any new thoughts today, and even though you’d just become a subscriber last week, he’s missing you for some reason. He really enjoyed the randomness of your brain, and hearing what was going on in there throughout the day. It was a nice break from pretending to be the perfect boyfriend, and he got to respond like he wanted, not like he thought he should.

Starting the stream, he settles into bed and begins telling his patrons about his day, pausing at certain moments to let them respond to him. On their screens, it just looks like a personal facetime, and they get to pretend he’s talking to them and them alone. He tries not to frown when he realizes you haven’t joined, and hopes you will soon; you were the one person he actually wanted to say goodnight to.

You don’t join, and Vernon goes to bed sad and confused. Why were you paying for this if you weren’t going to use your membership to the fullest? His subscribers loved the introduction of goodnight streams, some are even asking for good morning streams too. You also hadn’t asked him for any pictures yet, even though everyone was allowed three per day. Maybe you just hadn’t read the membership benefits when you joined and didn’t know? He should probably ask, right? Just to be sure you’re getting your money’s worth.

Vernon gasps, staring down at his phone in awe.

Vernon’s heart stutters, his eyebrows raising.

He sighs in disbelief before setting his jaw in determination and deciding the perfect combination and sequence of emojis to convey his true feelings.

He’s spinning in his desk chair, zoning out a little, when his eyes hit the open sound design program on his desktop.

Vernon’s mouth stretches in a smile, his kicking feet sending him on a giddy spin in his chair. Putting his phone on Do Not Disturb, he forces himself to focus.

Vernon is sitting in his Audio Mastering Techniques class when you text him. He was already struggling to focus, fingers drumming on the table and leg bouncing under it, his neighbor sending a glare over every few minutes. He tries his best not to check, but you'd promised him your first thought and he wants to see what it is!

Glancing around surreptitiously, Vernon opens SVTHub with his phone under the table. You'd never sent him an explicit message before but there's a first time for everything (Vernon hopes).

Vernon looks up organic chemistry practice problems but sees ‘Stereospecificity in Addition Reactions’ and ‘Electrophilic Addition Reactions to Conjugated Dienes’ and immediately begins shaking his head, exiting out of the browser and texting you again.

Vernon’s heart starts racing as he reads your text. You want to call him. You want to speak words and you want him to listen and respond and then you’ll respond to his words.

Cool.

Vernon’s sitting at his desk, spinning around as the phone rings and rain pangs against the window.

“Hey! Sorry,” you sound out of breath, “it’s monsooning and i couldn’t text and hold the umbrella and keep my laptop out of the rain at the same time.”

“It’s okay, no worries. How’d the exam go? Did you cry?” He asks, only slightly worried.

“It went well, I think! I did cry but just a little and I didn’t get it on the exam paper this time, thank goodness.”

You tell him more about the exam and he just listens, absorbing your voice and tone and cadence. He wants to record you, wishes he could listen to you all the time, your voice is so entrancing.

“Did you have your midterm yet?” You ask sweetly, sounding concerned.

This startles Vernon out of his trance and he has to ask himself if he has taken his midterm yet today, and sighs in relief when he realizes he has a few hours left to go.

“Nah, it’s not till later so i’m just studying and vibing.”

Vernon chats more with you, trying to imagine what you look like and wishing patrons had a profile picture like he does, before he realizes it’s been an hour and he should get focused. Promising to call you after his exam and wishing he could just take you with him in his pocket, he hangs up.

Vernon does call you after his exam, and he calls you the next day too, and the next. It’s easier than ever for him to respond to messages, romantic words flowing and streams getting more and more popular. He just pretends he’s talking to you and it always works. You haven’t joined one of his streams yet but he’s holding out hope, and secretly wishing that you’d request a private videocall. You still haven’t asked for any selfies but he finds himself sending them anyway, hoping someday you’ll send one back.

He’s getting ready for his bedtime stream when he starts thinking about your last phone call, just a few hours ago. You’d just woken up from a nap, sounding all raspy and sleepy and cute, and he tried to picture your face, cheek lined with pillow creases. He doesn’t remember what you’d talked about because he couldn’t focus on anything but your voice, soft and sweet in his ear. "I..." you take what sounds like a very deep breath, and Vernon feels like he's at the edge of a cliff, just waiting to jump.

"I look forward to your thoughts every day. Whenever you text me, I literally kick my feet like a little kid. Every time I streamed - they're not all like that, by the way - I couldn't stop checking to see if you'd joined. There's silence for a few beats; Vernon feels himself teetering on the cliff again as he waits for your response.

"I mean- is that... allowed?" You seem unsure, sounding slightly hopeful but a bit apprehensive still. Vernon thinks that if he jumped out of his window right now, he just might fly. He won't because he's not trying to die now that you're letting him be your boyfriend, but the feeling is there.

"Yes! I do like you, I like you a lot. I like you so much. Please date me." He knows he's practically begging at this point, but he doesn't care. Vernon's willing to beg, on his knees if he needs to, if it means he can be your boyfriend for real.

"Okay! Okay," you giggle, a bit muffled as if you're covering your mouth. "I'll date you if you date me?"

Vernon can't contain his grin, spinning in circles around his room even though he's already dizzy.

"Deal."

Vernon squints, sitting in his 9 am and staring down at the purple pen in his hand, the one he’d found sitting on the desk when he came in.

There’s no way though, right?

Vernon tries not to freak out as he looks under the desk to find a water bottle. One with your name on it.

Vernon has a choice to make. He could sit here, try to focus on class, while he thinks about you somewhere on campus, struggling through an exam and dehydrated and sad. Or …

He’s speedwalking down the hall, peeking in windows and listening at doors, trying to find your class. His eyes catch a paper taped to a door, warning, “EXAM AT 915. DO NOT DISTURB.”

He could jump in glee but, glancing at his phone and seeing that it’s 9:10, he knows he doesn’t have time.

Vernon’s hoping, praying you’ll listen to him when the door opens a smidge, and the most beautiful face he’s ever seen peeks through. It's like heaven’s light is shining down on him, he thinks he can hear angels, and is that wind? Blowing through his hair?

Staring back at him, your eyes shoot open in disbelief, before landing on your pen and water bottle in his hands. You squeal, bouncing in your shoes and throwing your arms around his neck. He breathes you in, reeling at the weight of your body against his, and you pull back before he can return your embrace. Vernon misses you instantly but he knows you have to go be a genius so, handing you the water and pen, he accepts a kiss on the cheek and watches you leave.

Since you can fuck around with the projectors you have alot of movie dates

Poppy also inhabits a place where ghost sightings probally arnt irregular

After the factory is abandoned and she's freed she finds many strange things happening

Like seeing you messing around in a room full of electronics,you made a boogie bot play never gonna give you up,a old computer blue screen,and currently screwing with an old peice of machinery

You give her alot of company,considering that fact your the ghost who's stayed around her the longest and she cant risk any of the other toys due to some obvious things.

She likes to watch you mess with electrical equipment in Hope's she can find out how you can do it

You sometimes possess a inactive boogie bot to stroll with her and talk,this way it gives you a somewhat solid form

It's also the only way she can interact with you when doing things like holding hand or hugging

Bendy

Since the studio is his realm theres not a very high chance he wouldnt know about the presence of a ghost

The first time he saw you he did try to attack you,no ghosts can interact with the electronics and machinery,so why can you?

Hes very confused and watches you from a far the majority of the time

If you leave a movie playing on a discarded projector he'll watch it through

Bendy at first dosnt want to approach you as he thinks that if he grows to bond and "like" you then he will become weak

Once eventually talking to you thought it's not to bad,its just the initial meeting goes horribly

Hes very rude at the start throwing insults or trying to bring you down,like you arnt already dead🙄

But once getting past that it's all good

He dosnt need to protect you because your dead so its 1 less problem for him

He likes watching short films or horros,he cant sit still for extremly long movies,he prefers it short and action packed.

He likes giving you different things around the studio to see what you can and cant manipulate

Nightmare chica

She trys to hunt kids and kill them,so ghosts are expected

She dosnt expect to see you messing around with CCs toys and making him cry,she hadnt even attacked yet

You dislike her apon first meeting,you played with the toys to scare the child not kill him,these animatronics were doing the opposite of what you were

After learning their intentions you mess with stuff around the house,one time accidentally waking up the parents

You eventually talk it out,but that's only after a loooonnnnngggg time of back and forth

She will ask on the odd occasion if you can help scare the kid,whether you do or not is up to you though

Will watch TV with u if theres a good program on etc

You can prank the other nightmares by controlling them to,works 9/10

If you can take on a terrifying form she will 200% ask you to scare kids with it,and to just show her in general

You both make cupcakes together and she eats them,how?🤷‍♀️

Marionette/puppet

Shes dealt with souls/ghosts before but has never seen one that can manipulate electronics

Shes very intrigued

Due to her usually calm nature you both get along amazingly

Sometimes you play a prank ok the guard and make the prize corners camera go staticy,good luck nightguard

If she finds a spare suit shell ask you if you want to possess it

You like to mess around with the lights during and show and even one time made Toy Bonnie's guitar go out of tune,the show that he played later didnt go very well

You fuck around with the night guards monitor and camera alot,sometimes even turning off the office lights

Marionette likes to give little gifts to you and even has a little corner in her box designated for you

Okay theyre pretty well off but i don’t see them as well liked or popular at least in their school life

I have them set as teenagers so perhaps around the 8th-10th grade? Not quite sure!

I think they’re quite infamous in school for having tone deaf singing >-|o mocked for it, not quite bullied but enough to do numbers for their self esteem

One of the earliest concepts for them is that they’re very bad students like. Academically. Velvet has a bit of a temper to protect her and her brother but rarely goes too far and veneer is well behaved albeit it only helps him get away with stunts he does pull. But they came into contact with Floyd back when Floyd was still in college and offering to tutor students, Floyd would have them come by to the diner to help them study which usually ended with Velvet usually being frustrated and Veneer understanding the concept more thanks to someone’s guidance

Again… AU is very comfort focus.. if u dislike how i portray their characteristics in a lighthearted manner mbad but it is the whole point of brozone diner >-|o

Velvet and Veneer have very rich but id say absent parents. Not to say they weren’t cared for or unloved not in the slightest they were given the best opportunity to succeed thanks to their parents, but it left them feeling neglected when it came to emotional validation when their parents were busy working. They had each other with came to be enough for younger brother Veneer who had nothing but his older sister but not enough for Velvet who desperately wanted to prove herself to genuinely shine and grab the attention of everyone so she wouldn’t have to be considered a nobody with no talent

Unfortunately stealing troll talent is not a thing, and already being bad at school and finding out your tutor is a talented secret emo rock soloist is a bit detrimental to someone who already feels like a jab to ur gut

I imagine that while veneer grew a bit attached to floyd as floyd was a much more stable and affirming figure in his life, velvet couldn’t open her self up to floyd cause not only did floyd have everything velvet want in terms of talent but there wasnt a day that went by that velvet didnt wish to just magically be on par with singing as Floyd

Velvet probably had an outburst of being jealous over Floyd but Floyd offered to give her and her brother singing and voice training lessons, Floyd doesnt really serve as a talent reserve in bzdiner unlike the movie but instead takes on a nurturing stance with the two siblings as he’s helps them improve. So no! Velvet and veneer do not go to jail but they frequent the diner often and esp show up every karaoke night. Veneer is still close to floyd and velvet while more willing to open herself up, simply just has appreciation for floyd for helping her even if she can still be pushy

Plus they’re filthy rich, they tip enormous amounts cause they’re aware they have money but not wholly conscious of the value a 100$ tip is to a waiter

I still think they could grow to become pop stars, just in this AU a bit more earnestly! They’re not like the most pleasant to be around they’re still definitely annoying they’re kids after all but at the end of the day they kind of just come off as naive wannabe stars who don’t know their place in the world outside of the limelight, quite pleased to have Floyd as a stable figure for them

I dont really imagine floyd as a super gentle guy but he is better at handling children, makes sure to reassure and serve comfort to them, and if they’re being brats he’ll let them know in his own snarky behavior

But i have a big soft spot for velvet i imagine that velvet is a bit closer to john dory than she is to floyd becasue john dory can connect to her better to feeling worth nothing when you havent proved yourself yet

But tldr:

Velvet and Veneer have no talent no friends no smarts but instead of leaching off a troll floyd helps them practice their voices, gives them advice on how to he a good friend and helps them study

They’re still bettering themselves with fkoyd just. A nuch more lighthearted take on their dynamic!

A comprehensive reason as to why I, as a teenage girl, think the marauders fandom is heaven on earth. (+ a few faults)

In simple terms, its a pit of representation. The characters, even the ones mentioned more than just a name drop, have very little known information about them. Like yes, we know remus lupin marries tonks and we know james marries lily, but besides that? They were teenagers at hogwarts, its fun to play around with the dynamics of them.

And its also a passion project. The marauders is by no means an actual thing. Sure, theyre side characters in hp. But the marauders fandom is created solely on headcanons and fanon info. Its almost like if i were to pull finnick and annie from thg and develop them with such depth that it contextualises things that couldve been explained better in the actual books.

And not only that, but it shows creativity. Its like weve all taken these characters, aged them down to make them more relatable, and projected our own teenage experiences onto them in a way that jk could never as she wrote them as an adult and likely has never experienced the struggles of the lgbtq teens nowadays

The lgbtq is also a good point to bring up. Nowhere anywhere else on the internet will you find a fandom so full of lgbtq characters solely bc 'it doesnt sell'. The marauders is a prime example of how marketing realistic teenagers to teenagers is not unprofitable.

Mental health is also a big thing that needs to be explored more in media. And not as the main plot, but as something that just exists. Its done well in the marauders fandom.

Usually when watching a show or reading a book, you think these characters arent that realistic. In their world, sure. But its hard to relate to characters who link nothing to you. The marauders, though wizards, are teenagers in school. They are relatable.

Also the ability to create everything out of nothing. I adore pandora rosier and regulus black but in canon they are never even shown in the movies besides reg.

The poc inclusivity, the non skinny inclusivity, etc etc.

However! There are issues.

The marauders fandom is primarily girls, yet this fandom is an excellent example of the preference that male characters get. Like, i love regulus. But pray tell why jegulus gets more hype than pretty much any wlw ships combined? And why do i see so much of lily being a surrogate or her dying and james and reg getting harry? If youre gonna cut lily out of james life for him to be w reg, atleast find another way for them to have a kid. Lily is more than her uterus and a plot device for a kid.

And theres also sm arguments over headcanons. Like, if i were to say i hc james potter as straight, i would get attacked in todays fandom. It just gets a bit strange sometimes when people disregard canon at all. I get the seperation of canon from fanon is definitely inevitable in this fandom, but i dislike when people push their hcs as canon when its literally contradicted by canon.

I love the marauders fandom i do, and i love the way the characters are developed enough to be interesting to everyone, and not just babied down enough to be advertised to kids. Theres so much you can do when you dont have to worry about pr.

personally i feel like most of the dislike surrounding using faceclaims of those who have passed on is just virtue signaling. maybe i am wrong but that's how it feels to me. i can sorta understand why people feel weird?? sorta. not really i guess… maybe it's because i see it entirely different. people think it's disrespectful but i think it's only disrespectful if that's how you're using it. to me, it's keeping that person's wonderful memory alive. it's no different than rewatching movies where the actor in the movie has passed away… do people just, never watch movies with those actors in it anymore or is the dislike for seeing the face of the deceased only exclusive to writing? what about animated faceclaims whose voice actor passed away? doesn't make sense to me. it's the same thing in my eyes. i rewatch those movies to keep their memory alive, to remember how amazing they were in those roles, how great actors they were. and i think using them as a faceclaim for a character, is like… giving them a new acting role, and keeping their memory alive. to me, seeing their face in writing is no different than seeing their face on screen in a movie or a tv show. and just a side mention: what happens if an actor has an accident or something happens and they unfortunately pass away as a result? i dont expect every person using them as a faceclaim for a character to just up and change their character's faceclaim. that's a massive change, you may not think it is but to those who use faceclaims and match the character to the face, it is massive. but my main point is i personally dont mind and i think it keeps the memory alive rather than pretending they dont and never did exist and just… erasing them from history by never seeing their face again anywhere. please dont eat me alive for this personal view lol

sherlock & co. review from an insane person (me) coz this is like. the 25th? sherlock adaptation i've checked out so ofc i have opinions on everything ever. and ik ppl who work on indie podcasts browse tumblr sometimes so just in case you work on this DON'T click keep reading, this post is not for youuu shoo. thanks x

ok so far it's like. fine? which is lowkey sad coz i wish it was smtg i really liked but it hasn't gripped me yet which is a shame but yknow. early days. i'm giving it time since it's only 15 episodes so far

my main issue is like. i really wish it wasn't so obviously influenced by bbc but it just so clearly is which is a shaaame like it's better than bbc in every aspect but yknow. not a high bar to clear. like it kinda feels like they liked a lot of things abt bbc and set out to fix the bad parts (h&w friendship being nonexistent, the mysteries being shit) but just kept the rest? in some places keeping things that were invented by bbc which is. baffling tbh

i'm not really picky when it comes to h&w personalities like i think it's fine to just do whatever you want w them, i think it's really fun when an adaptation gives them different personalities than what you're used to but, and this is where it feels far too bbc-ish for comfort, i just don't like it when sherlock is a cunt for no reason? like. he's not a mean person he's only mean in bbc coz moffat thought house md was cool and ripped it off. can we stop making him mean pleeeease 😭 he's just some guy..................

h&w relationship wise it's like... ok so i tend to go into adaptations with a fully clean slate so like i never let my general attachment to them influence how i view them in specific adaptations, the work itself needs to sell me on both the characters and the relationship and like... here neither of those really happened yet which makes me sad coz i think by now it should've but i'm giving it time. at least they're friends and i like that watson is useful for cases/knows things holmes doesn't sometimes coz thats like. such an essential element to sh stories for me and a loooottt of adaptations tend to just completely forget it so that's a win but idk if anything they're too tame? like i dont expect a romance but they can't just be casual friends they need to be bat shit crazy about each other. to me. but like maybe that'll develop over the rest of the podcast we'll see

kinda related to that point but case-wise i think holmes is a bit too ahead of everyone else sometimes which isn't inherently a problem but it does once again smell of bbc which like. noone should ever emulate moffat writing don't do that 🙏 god bles. but i've been able to solve every case along with/before the mcs which is like. thee point of mystery stories for me so yea i really like the stories themselves so far, especially the way they manage to make them solvable even without visuals or narration. OH and i almost forgot but i rly like the soundtrack, i love it when sh soundtracks have a heavy emphasis on violins coz. yknow

howeverr i am on my hands and knees begging them not to give watson a girlfriend tho like please oh myfffucking god . obvs watsonlock doesn't usually factor into my enjoyment of adaptations given that like. y'know. out of the hundreds out there theres only two where either of them is even gay so it's not something i expect nor require but like. to me it is essential that these two ppl are insane abt each other and don't really have anyone else, definitely noone important. like even the rdj movies got this despite ritchie's obsession w the 2 men 1 woman dynamic so idk why i'm constantly having to wage a war against random unnecessary romances for either watson or, god forbid, holmes. when the only interesting relationship either of these men have is with each other. that one granada holmes quote about them choosing not to include mary coz holmes and watson dont need anyone else etc etc. like i seriously dislike it when they introduce anyone else like cmonnnnnn thog dont care

anyway tldr. i guess if asked to pick a short description i'd say. promising? i hope it's gonna be good in the long run. the way they do mysteries is already something i like so. i hope they keep that up and i hope the h&w relationship evolves into something i enjoy coz so far i'm like. i can see the bones of smtg i'll potentially like but it's not there yet. but also like. this is an indie production i'm listening to for free so ion wanna rip into it these are mainly just what i liked/disliked based on the preferences i developed with this one quick trick (grow up completely insane abt sherlock holmes -> consume every adaptation that you can get your paws on -> no profit)

A/N: OK I HAVE BEEN THINKING OF THIS SCENARIO FOR SO LONG. I ADORE THE CONCEPT. Me being a very visual person, I was like... how do I execute this? It was gonna be gifs but then I thought no like let's get that audio visual thang going. So I present to you my shitty little video montage that I spent 2 hours on my laptop trying to figure out, scouring the internet for clips (they're not mine... clearly please dont sue). I kind of set it out as the single interviews, and then you guys getting asked questions by interviewers at home and then all those little scenes.

So when you watch my poorly done video, firstly, don't judge, secondly, imagine it as little home video clips of you. I HAD TO DO IT. MY BRAIN WOULDNT LET ME POST THIS UNLESS I DID IT.

1v1 Chris Interview

Interviewer: What’s one song that describes Y/N?

“Killer Queen. No question.” He smirked, resting his chin on his fingers.

She’s just… yeah… you know you don’t meet someone like that every day and the fact that I get to spend every day with her makes me the luckiest man alive.

Interviewer: You guys ready?

Y/N: Oh, this is starting already! God, I haven’t even done my makeup.

CE: You look fine. It’s a documentary babe it’s supposed to be informal.

Chris pulled your feet up over his lap, settling in next to you.

Y/N: I still would have done my hair! I’ve never done an interview for anything besides a job, so this is a little different.

Interviewer: Just think of it as you’re in your living room chatting with friends.

Y/N: Alright shoot!

Interviewer: So, Y/N, I guess it’s funny because you don’t have a profession in the industry you had no aspirations of being famous and you’ve just been thrusted into this spotlight… what’s that like?

Y/N: I mean… it’s definitely different. And I’d be lying if I say I didn’t you know think on it and it’s hard because you have to really question is this guy, I’m seeing worth it? You know? That sacrifice of your privacy or your mundane life. Like yeah, the trips and the nice house and hotels and the events are all great and I can’t complain but you know you give a part of yourself up. That part of you that can go to the grocery store in sweatpants, the one where your whole life doesn’t come up when you google yourself. That was hard but you know I had to kind of follow my heart and I decided yeah you know; I really like this guy and why not? Sometimes you gotta take a risk and follow your heart and I’m glad I did it but I don’t think I’d do this for anyone else.

CE: Would you say I’m worth it now?

Chris smirked at you

Y/N: I’d definitely say you’re worth it.”

Interviewer: And what would you say is the hardest part?

Y/N: Well, you know no one wants to be disliked and that’s always hard to have that rejection but imagine that but from thousands of people who have never met you, don’t know you from a bar of soap who then go online and tell you that. You know that they don’t like you because you’re ugly and fat and you’re a gold digger. Let the record show, I have a really good job that I love so his money was not what did it for me. Especially, since I’m the one who always buys the coffees.

CE: That part killed me…. There’s this girl, you know, my girl that I love and she’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me and people are just going around online spewing all this hate about her, you kind of feel it’s your fault… ya know? She didn’t choose this life, I did but by extension it’s her life now. I just don’t think she deserves it. The gold digger comment on the other hand is hilarious, I think I owe her $1000 in coffees. She gets weird if I buy her a nice present on her birthday, she’s definitely not after my money.

Y/N: I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s your fault though like I knew what I was getting into, and I agreed to it getting into a relationship with you.

CE: It’s still not fair though. I have this need to protect her, ya know, that’s my job to make sure she’s safe and I can’t protect her from everything and that’s hard.

Y/N: I know honey I know.

You patted his thigh hoping the ease the pain in his voice.

Y/N: I’ve kind of grown immune to it now, these people don’t know me or my relationship so I’m able to kind of shut that out. It’s as simple as putting the phone down.

Interviewer: What’s the best part then?

Y/N: Not having to pay rent in Boston.

CE: Ya kidding!

Y/N: It’s a really tough market!

Y/N: No in seriousness, I live a really privileged life with the man I love. I had a great life before, but I think being in love and having a person makes you feel complete.

Interviewer: So, we’ll set the scene, an A-lister movie star comes up to you on a night out and starts talking to you… what’s going through your head? How did you feel? Starstruck?

Y/N: He looks like every other white dude, so I didn’t clock it immediately but when I did I thought I was being punkd or something.”

CE: Oh come on!

Y/N: No seriously and I’ve told you this I was super suspicious about it. Yeah sure, I’ve had guys come up to me in clubs but having someone who you know could have anyone they wanted, and you know I’m not the beauty standard, I don’t fit the mould of bombshell, I’m curvy and loud and I laugh like a drunk witch I just didn’t think that I was someone he’d be interested in.

CE: Speak for yourself I love your laugh.

Interviewer: So, Chris why did you go up to her?

CE: Well firstly, look at her. I mean I first saw her and I think that was kind of the first time in my life I ever got taken back by someone… I’m a big believer in love at first and I think I had that moment of “wow there she is. That’s the girl I’m gonna spend the rest of my life with.” and it’s not just her looks either she had this energy about her that was addictive and I wanted to be a part of. She was laughing and I could see the faces of the people around her they just seemed so entertained and engaged by whatever she was saying. She’s one of those people you kind of just gravitate to because she has that gift of lighting up a room. She reminds me of a quote I read once, she’s like a sunrise, she doesn’t care if you watch her rise or not she will continue to be beautiful even if no one bothers to look.

Y/N: He had this big grin talking to me the whole time and I thought oh maybe that’s an actor thing where you’re not allowed to stop smiling.

Interviewer: But you thought you were getting punkd…

Y/N: If not punkd, that he was kind of just looking for a one-night fling. Admittedly, I judged him. Definitely. I had read the tabloids, I didn’t understand why someone like him was single, it was suspicious.

CE: It’s because I hadn’t met you yet.

Y/N: Well, we know that now but back then I think I put a wall up because I didn’t want to get hurt. Getting your heartbroken by a celebrity isn’t just as simple as you block their number, his face is everywhere, I’d have to boycott certain movies. I’d be embarrassed by the fact that I trusted some playboy movie star and thought that I was special enough he wanted to be with me.

CE: God you were soooo wrong sweetheart

Y/N: I can admit that now! But yeah, it’s definitely weird trying to navigate his intentions. But he made it pretty clear from the start.

CE: She said no like 50 times.

Interviewer: You said NO?

The interviewer put on a faux gasp.

Y/N: I had my walls up I just don’t think I was willing to be fucked around by Captain America. But I think I realised he was being genuine when he was scheduled to leave to go to some other event and his people came over to kind of get him out and he looked them in the eye and said “no, I’m in the middle of something important.” I was like oh god this man is DETERMINED.

CE: You were important, I refused to leave you alone until you at least agreed to one date.

Y/N: We would of been there all night if I was more stubborn.

CE: Thank god you caved to my good looks and charm.

Y/N: Yeah that and you also promised me a pasta dinner… that’s my advice to all the girls watching never turn down a good meal especially if the guy is paying.

CE: I learnt early on good food is the way to your heart.

Y/N: And then every date after that he’d bring me chocolate like boxes of truffles or those big industrial packs of Reece’s.

CE: She loves Reece’s.

Interviewer: So how do you keep this spark alive? Seems like you two are really in love even after facing some challenges that normal couples wouldn’t.

CE: Sex.

Y/N: Chris!

CE: What? I can’t say that? Look I’m a man, who is lucky he gets to go to bed most nights with a beautiful woman I think that’s a really good part of our relationship that I can’t see going away anytime soon.

Y/N: Intimacy is definitely there that’s for sure but I think also even when you are away we are constantly communicating and planning to do things we enjoy together.

CE: Yeah, when I come home from filming or a press tour my first priority is making sure we have that time to reconnect whether it’s a week, a day or even just a few hours doing something with her and no one else makes me feel a little bit more human again.

Interviewer: Would you say your job makes you feel less human?

CE: In a way yeah, I mean, I’m playing another character 24/7 and I love my job don’t get me wrong but you’re on set for hours every day and then you get pushed into interviews and you have to be “on” all the time you know smiling and answering the same questions for hours. I think that’s why a lot of actors do seem unhappy and it’s because they don’t get to come home to someone who wraps you in this hug of quotidian. I’m Chris Evans most of the time but I come home and to her I’m just “Chrissy baby” and she doesn’t expect me to act a certain way, I can just be myself and pretend for a few hours that I’m just this normal guy coming home to his wife after a day of work.

CE: Not yet but it’s definitely on the cards. Sorry I slip up a bit, it feels like we are married but yeah no secret wedding or anything.

Life is crazy for me right now; you know with ASP and all these upcoming movies and projects. I don’t think that’s something I’d be able to do if I didn’t have her. She is singlehandedly keeping my engine running. Because there are days when it gets too much, and you have so many different opinions coming your way as to what you should do and how you should act. And there she is, right next to me or a phone call away and I can just turn to her. I definitely value her opinion above anyone else’s and that’s because I think she only gives it when I ask or when she thinks I need to hear it. She knows me better than myself so if she says, “Hey slow down.” I listen because she knows. I know its cheesy, but she is my rock, she is the calm I crave amongst chaos and a minute in her arms helps me get up to do another day.

She inspires me every day, the way she gets up and works tirelessly for others, pursues her passion and is unapologetically herself. They say you’re attract to people who have what you lack, and I think her confidence to say, “Hey you may not like it but I’m not going to conform to what you want me to be.” Is something I admire, and I think being around someone like that really gives me that bit of confidence to kind of shush the anxiety. There’s a certain intelligence that comes with knowing it’s not worth it to change yourself to appease others and that’s why when I say she is the smartest person I know, I mean that.

She’s not just my best friend, she’s, my soulmate.

honest to god. i think lightning was completely valid in how he acted in cars 2 😭 AND I HAVE A REASONING. HEAR ME OUT.

first of all, im personally not a huge fan of this movie. i think all of it is extremely out of character (for every character involved), but i have a specific spot in my heart for lightning in this film because really, i understand where hes coming from. if you went to a foreign country with your best friend, and instead of being respectful, they acted like a total douche the entire time - as well as screwing you up during the event THEY SIGNED YOU UP FOR (with knowledge that mater could have simply turned off his headset instead of ignoring lightnings multiple requests to clear the line) i would be angry too! and i think that the moral of the story being “act like youre at home Everywhere” is such a harmful thing to tell people 😭

also strongly dislike how mater pushed a romantic relationship onto holley, who is quite literally decades younger than he is and was very Not into it ..

💛 - unpopular opinion about a main character

i think that the concept of cruz’s grandfather being a race fan should have stayed in. this probably isnt unpopular, but genuinely it would have made her as a character so much less.. flat.. it would have given her REASON to wanna be a racer - to make her grandfather proud. giving her a reason would have been much better than the just Out of Nowhere fight, and in that concept lightning and her make up right then and there (plus, instead of him being an ass and debating whether he was right or not like he did in the movie, his anger in the concept comes from a place of just.. genuine stress, adrenaline, and probably being overwhelmed in the moment.)

💚 - unpopular opinion about a side/background character

i dont really understand the hype around the wgp racers? like this isnt a jab at anyone but i just cannot grasp it 😭 my ooh ooh ah ah brain cant understand enjoying characters with no lines or screen time. i applaud the people who do love them though i cannot fault u for having silly little guy brainrot

although one of my favs is a bg character with like 3 lines 😭 cal my son i adore you

and. i am so very sorry. lightning/chick. - this is due to personal lore research, lightning being eighteen in cars 1 (and chicks being about 40+) really, really throws me off? and im not accusing anyone of anything because again, everyone has different lore ideas, but i personally dislike it because 18/40 is Odd to me in my personal cars human au 😭 . also again, enemies to lovers has gotta be one of my least favourite ship tropes.

*skip to after the sun went down*

•the turtles and April were out playing basketball as usual

“I GOT IT” Mikey said but then the ball bounced of the basket

“Great job Mikey” Leo said sarcastically

“Leo don’t be mean” Raph said noticing Mikey was pretty upset about it

• little did they know you were there going on a walk with your neighbours dog

• You saw the hole think happen and even though they were literally mutant turtles you saw that they were upset

• you tied the dog to a lamppost while you started to climb that tree

*the next day*

•since it was Saturday you decided to just walk to Aprils apartment you brought some homemade baked goods to apologise to April and give her the ball so she could give it to her friends

•when you knocked you got no response so you decided to open the door to be met by April and the four turtles

• They were staring at you like ‘why tf are you here’ kinda look

“I’m sorry to interrupt but i saw that you lost your basketball and i just wanted to give it back” you said not looking at them bc otherwise you would get to nervous

“Aw sweet” Mikey basically yelled

•They were pretty shocked you would even do anything like this bc they thought you were rude

“oh April I’m sorry i didn’t hell that much on the project but here” you place a basket on the floor that smelled amazing

“why are you doing this i thought you didn’t like me?” April asked

“well i- i dont dislike you i was just kinda nervous for the project and i- I’m sorry i came of as rude” you said

Hobbies: Writing horror stories, DnD, reading, singing, listening to music, playing the piano, dancing, watching horror movies, drawing, and yoga. As an avid horror fan, animated movies are for sure a guilty pleasure of mine.

Appearance: long wavy auburn hair and my eyes are more of a honey brown. I always wear round glasses.
