Ok I'm gonna be honest I saw some mild spoilers about Glass Onion, specifically including that Benoit was gay, and I thought that was just a fandom well understood "should've been this way" kinda thing

He really is gay. And in a relationship with a char played by Hugh Grant. Living together in the cutest fanciest little apartment.

#mine #I THINK I LOCKED MYSELF OUT OF AST4RI0N ROMANCE BY ACCIDENT #AND THE WORST PART IS I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW!!!!!!!#LIKE. WHAT SCENE DID I FUCK UP IN. WHICH DIALOGUE DID I MISS. Just woke up brain on fire. The little shake of the head when Otohan looks between them. The immediate lie and then smiling. Imogen is so used to keeping Laudna safe with deception when they are traveling it’s second nature. What a great episode.

I read the shake as a bit more sheer desperation and distress than an active lying attempt but your point still stands.

The pained smile after Imogen says "I give in", of her trying some twisted form of charming, of trying to seal the deal. Trying, desperately, to make it enticing, to make it worth it, to drag that attention off of Laudna. She's trading her safety for Laudna's, (for everyone's), she's trying so hardly to let that charisma and charm and persuation do its trick, one more time- *i am drowned out bt the sound of a few of my braincells lying on the floor wailing inconsolably*

I might just get a little mean when Firestar is picking deputies in my hyporewrite.... first he picks Whitestorm, who dies in the BloodClan battle. Then he picks Longtail, who gets blinded and steps down for his own comfort. Then he picks Graystripe who is his bestie and he's like "Okay, he's proved himself, he's grown as a person and can handle this and I want my best friend by my side" aaaaand then he gets taken away by the twolegs during the forest destruction. (alternatively this happens with Sandstorm, but idk. Kinda wanna keep Millie in there.) He refuses to pick a deputy, but once they're at the lake, he feels like he must for the sake of stability, so he appoints Brackenfur. Who dies a few moons later to the badger attack alongside his sister Cinderpelt, protecting his laboring mate Sorreltail in the nursery. And after that, StarClan comes down, shoves Brambleclaw in his face, and is like "you HAVE to choose this guy, it is only right to honor tradition". And since Brambleclaw did lead them to the lake, he figures it is appropriate even if he's ineligible... and then Brambleclaw participates in his assassination attempt with Hawkfrost.

#tbh. no idea how the hawkfrost scene will go bc i wanna revamp hawkfrost entirely and give moth and tawny more to do here #idk how though #i want him to live of course and I want Bramble to still be deputy in the end and be in a position of power #and canon fire just going ''lol i know you were just saying psych'' feels dumb #also i want mothwing to kill hawkfrost in some way. maybe she sabotages the fight by poisoning hawk beforehand #saying that she was giving him herbs to ''strengthen him'' or something...#also like the idea of her being involved in the dark forest training somehow. idk tho bc i cant see her being a fighter in there #maybe shes manipulated into being tiger's unwilling prophet and this is what disillusions her to starclan #and what makes her refuse to reach out to them in the moonpool. they let it happen. do they not care for her because shes a rogue?#the sign also disillusions her bc thats iconic thats the main thing but i dont see her straight up not believing ghosts are real #so i may retool that to ''i dont believe in starclan in that they cant control shit and i do not care for them so i wont engage.''#rewrite au

“Selfish! Unresponsible! Petty! Impossibly imprudent! Headache-inducing brat-!”

Tory took physical strength out of thin hair to propel herself up and clasp her hand over LaRusso’s mouth. Each word was getting more high-pitched than the previous one and she was sure the moment her lover got into bat-speech frequency she would combust into pink glitter. The blue eyes glared and she felt a deep grunt against her palm. It was flattering that Sam felt deeply enough about her to be so upset that she was hurt, but Sam was losing focus.

“Breathe, Princess, or you’ll get sick too and then all we’ll have left are Miguel and Hawk. Is that what you want? You want those dimwits to care for you?”

Sam shook her head.

“Then calm down,” she kissed the girl’s cheek before pulling away her hand.

“How could you hide this from me? You know I would’ve helped!”

“You would’ve freaked out worse, and maybe you would’ve chosen to stay behind to care for me and this would leave us all alone in the woods. I’m not dying out here, not even with you to make me company.”

“Tory, I know these woods like the back of my hand. Mr. Miyagi and my Dad used to bring me here to train, I told you that.”

The blonde shrugged. Using Samantha as support, she slowly sat back down in the bag, grunting all the way. Hiding a wound for a day wasn’t supposed to make people that weak, she had hidden wounds before for longer and she didn’t get sick. “Fuck these woods”.

“The trees are not to blame for your recklessness”, the Miyagi girl kneeled after her.

The deep cut in her ankle was now getting new infected colors that caused an afflictive shiver to go through Samantha’s body. Tory laughed at her empathetic jittering.

“You are so soft”.

“What kind of offense is that?”, Sam asked as she pulled some stuff from her backpack.

“It’s a neutral observation”.

“I didn’t know you were capable of those”, the brunette teased.

Tory did not want to smile at the provocation, she didn’t want to give the Bonsai the satisfaction of her amusement, but it was so hard when she used that tone of voice, “and you have the balls to call me the brat”.

Samantha didn’t hide her laugh.

“You have your moments”, she said taking Nichol’s shoe and socks off carefully, so careful that the blonde shook her head. It would never cease to amaze her how much things have changed. Her Princess didn’t miss a beat when it was time to look after her and never abused the chance to retaliate against all the pain the Cobra had caused. Tory knew it wasn’t because she was a saint. Tory knew Sam still struggled a lot with their relationship too. Still, it was also true that Sam was raised by virtuous people and examples. Something that might’ve been fairy tales for Nichols before she got to know people who were actually good.

Sam was good. Flawed in so many insufferable ways. But she wondered, as her eyes watched the girl bathing the open wound with her own water, if she was falling in love with each of those ways too. Flinching at the first touch of cotton cleaning her skin, she kept her focus on LaRusso’s face.

“I would die happy in the middle of the woods if it was by your side”, she concluded out loud.

Raising her eyes to the blonde, Sam let free an endearing smile as her whole body melted, “I love you too”.

Edit: Vee wrote a note that says how happy she is Luz is home, which is so dang sweet. Sisters

When she hugs Luz again before bed, she says "I'm so glad you're home" and Luz awkwardly replies "Yeah, home..."

Luz comes out and officially explains Amity is her gf, Camila immediately embraces them both, Gus being the ultimate hypeman fills the room with rainbows & bi flags

Bonus Luz didn't look nervous at all coming out

Camila is wearing a rainbow flag heart in every scene after the coming out

Flapjack hates the old house where the portal was & the other palisman watch him confused why he's frantically pecking

Ghost is a very good cat that chases a opossum with the thrill of the hunt in their eyes

Gus, Willow, and Amity draw pics of their families (Gus is a very good artist too) and Hunter looks on sadly (rip getting a Dadrius moment) while Luz is focused on the portal plans

However Luz is later seen drawing Eda, King, Lilith, and Hooty, and her art has improved as has been a constant throughout the show

The kids go to a thrift store, Gus goes for style, Willow chooses a full blown roller derby outfit, Amity goes gothy witch aesthetic (it reminds me a lot of Vivian from PM:TTYD and if you know who I'm talking about I adore you), and Hunter finds a fucking cardinal onesie

Vee debuts her original look and Camila IMMEDIATELY rushes over to hug her

One more chapter, and not only will I have finally reached a goal years in development, but things will get so much easier in one of my fics. For my characters, for me. I can feel the relief thinking about it.
