EDIT: So, if YouTube is to be trusted, it's snowight on both versions, but his flow and timbre (and lyrics!) are WAY different between the two. The newest upload sounds casually arrogant/confident antihero theme while the may release version sounds like your generic zero to hero motivating song.

Phantom seemed content being trapped on the watchtower and explained it was better than whatever the GIW was planning. Superman thinks something weird is going on with the ghost as when he supposedly went to bed in the room he was assigned he’d temporarily gain a heartbeat again. Constantine is just glad the young prince hasn’t decided to kill anyone in the US congress yet for passing such a ridiculous law. Batman’s adoption senses are tickling.

I LOVE going everywhere by bike. Don't need to wait for a bus. Don't need to cram myself into a bus with (urgh) people. Or even worse, what feels like every single student in town. I still get home in about the same amount of time. I'm so so flexible including with places. Like yeah sure, let's go there! I don't care if the next bus station is far away. Doesn't matter to me.

Stayed out late with friends recently. Two of em had to get their family to come pick them up because that's too far to walk and it was too late for buses. A different friend lives like 30 minutes away but always walks and their way goes through a small park where literally no one is at with few lanterns so it's pitch black and I could literally just walk them home and then take the bike which is faster and has its own light and feels and probably is safer than walking those dark ass streets at night alone.

Like. I can just do all that. And yeah, sometimes when I'm not doing too well I feel like collapsing afterwards and yeah, maybe my fingers feel like falling off a lot at this time of year but that's like. SO worth it. I have no idea how people can live and NOT go everywhere by bike. Like if it's more than 20-30 minutes maybe but even with hills.... I fucking love my bike.

This is another case of me wishing Hawke had the option to jump in during party banter with different options, because Ed would've chewed Aveline out for that.

You could have a brutal war against unions in the streets and one lone titan of industry giving into their demands. You could have the exact same 3 batkids from the movie, there's literally nothing to improve on there. You could have Clark tear down a barbed wire fence with his bare hands, in a futile attempt to unravel colonialist ideas of private land ownership. Imagine the alien knows more about the earth, the real earth, than the knight in his city does. Imagine the American dream failing Clark, who has to go back east to the big city, failing Bruce, who lost his parents, failing everyone over and over until they decide to build something without it. In an era of rampant exploitation, what do real heroes look like?

Is it just a funny reference where you're like, oh, that's where they got his last name in the show from?

I mean, theoretically Darby McGraw could have been the name of his grandfather. And we know the story Flint told us about how he choose "Flint" to be his name and how it ties to his grandfather.

So what if Flint never got to stop being Flint, in a way, couldn't let Flint go anymore. So at some point he starts drinking (a lot) and then he's about to die and that's the only way he's ever gonna be rid of Flint? By dying? And he's close to dying, so he's thinking of that story again, about Mr. Flint who disappeared when his grandfather went to get more rum? And he's very drunk so he's saying it out loud, and in a very incomprehensible manner, but no one would have had any context as to what he was on about anyways.

So that's his last words, his dying words, before Flint is after all, finally gone.

(for reference the bit of Flint's speech in 2x09 I'm talking about:)

"Eventually, [Mr. Flint] asked my grandfather for a little more rum from below. My grandfather went off to fetch it, but when he returned... the man was gone."
