Dawn Mother
When Dawn Mother comes to me she often appears gaunt, old and yet youthful. Her face is usually alien like- skeletal, with large, strange, eyes and pale but blushing skin. She is the Mother of the gods, the forgotten form of the White Mare and the spirit of the land as represented by the blood of the The Hunted Stag.
She, who bore Tree Shaker, is one who raises warriors.

hi! do you happen to have any recommendations for blogs, books, or other resources on wendish (vendish/vindish/hungarian slovene) folklore, deities, witchcraft, and folk belief? im currently digging through a lot of misinformation and nonsense pan-germanic neonazi disinformation (yuck), and would appreciate any step in the right direction! if not, thanks anyway, and have a lovely day🌻
Hello there!
Firstly, I'm so sorry that you're having to wade through the mire of neo-Nazi appropriative shite. It's an unfortunately common problem.
I also don't think I'm going to be of much, if any, help here. Most of my knowledge is in Celtic folklore, deities, mythos, etc., - Irish in particular.
Hopefully, tumblr will work its magic and someone will see this and ofter some help. 🖤

From the Pages of my Dracula x Cinderella WIP: Part 1
Dracula: Even if you were a creature, who says creatures must be alone?
Cinderella: But–
Dracula: If that's the rule, no wonder creatures learn to be cruel. It's the world that taught them how to do it
Dracula: Even if you're a creature, you're still one I wish to love
