"middle sibling competition" "most unhinged knife weilding bisexual with abandonment issues competition" "biggest left tit competition" ridiculous, all of you. pure cowardice. if your characters are so good they should win against all. they should climb the ever increasing mountain of corpses free of constraints. so, i give you:
the most character of all time competition
no limits. no categories. simply characters fighting to the fucking death in one single glorious showdown, the ULTIMATE battle, as they should have been all along. if your characters are truely strong they will prevail. they will fight as long as they need to. or do you doubt them?

As you can see here, our members really like the cake we offer. You can have a slice for free while you chat with other submitters and watch the story of the Sillys Showdown unfold!
Why does your OC want to enter, you may ask? Well, the winner receives a ticket on a space train that takes them wherever their heart desires. To a long-lost relative, a nostalgic place, or even a place they don't know that contains something they lost! Anywhere! If your OC would be interested in this, you should submit them.
Heres how!:
1.Go on this google form, asking about yourself, your art, and your blog. (Optional, but would love to get to know you!)
2.Create a masterpost explaining everything and anything important about your OC. You can ramble about anything, though it should include:
1- an image of your OC
2- their name and pronouns
3- family background if any
4- backstory and current life
5- their motivation(s) to be part of this
3.Tag #thesillysmasterocpost and tag us!
4.We'll message you on whether or not your OC got in a day before the list goes up.

Original Cat (OC) appreciators!!!
Okay so I have put some thought into it and decided we should do this!!!
Hey this is the @best-fictional-cat mod here with yet another wonderful competition! We're going to pit more fictional cats against each other... But this time those will be your original kitties!
Some rules:
They have to be cat-themed (preferably more than just occasionally wearing cat-ears as an accessory), which includes general looks, body parts, overall cat shape, behavior or aesthetics! Yes, anthros and furries are allowed. So are robots. You have an original zhid? Go for it.
Oh, right, fandom OCs are also allowed!
You don't have to be an artist to submit your original cat!!! You can be a writer, for example. Or a roleplayer! Having a picture would make it easier for everyone, but it can be from an avatar maker!
One OC per person, please, and don't spam your entry multiple times. I'm doing it not to keep things fair (I'm the mod of a competition which had 20 warrior cats in it) but to keep it from getting out of control, because I'm pretty sure there are A LOT of cat-related OCs out there. I will let you know if we're somehow lacking submissions, don't worry. I also have a number of cat OCs and hate having to choose.
You can send pictures of your OCs via asks or DMs, and also @ me in stuff. Same goes for propaganda! But the original submission has to be via google I'm so sorry it will be hell sorting through them otherwise!

They will be open either until Sunday April 2nd or until we hit an overwhelmingly high number of competitors, whatever happens first! The competition itself will start when I'm done with the fictional cats one tho.

"What?" Her face was pale. Everyone around them was looking. Standing at the center of those burning gazes made her stomach twist. "Take my fucking hand," Draco hissed, pressing the words through his teeth. Something about his tone woke her from the numbed state. Her eyes snapped to him, narrowing dangerously. He tried to keep his mask on, but his eyes were burning. It was not something the people around could see. That fury and fire were only for her. --- A story that takes place partially in Hogwarts and then in the work life of Hermione and Draco because life always seems to bring them close. It is a post-war story, filled with sorrow and sadness, love and fire, longing and pining, sincerity and tenstion. How can one move on with the chains of the past still wrapped around them? How could one feel for someone who had pained them so much?

Hello everyone!! I haven't seen one of these competitions for superheroes so I thought I would take the liberty to make one. I'm taking submissions right now so submit some heroes and feel free to reblog and share for a bigger competition!
Inspired by all the lovely competition blogs such as @sexyladyotd, @bisexual-monarch-tournament, @besttship, and all the others!
RULES:
- No real people, which includes youtubers and their characters (not that it applies I don't think)
- No repeat submissions please! Feel free to nominate multiple characters with different submissions but same character spams skew the results and are very annoying.
- Characters can come from any media! Comics, movies, tv shows (both live action and animated) and any other media is valid.
- Characters don't have to be strictly superhero (can be sidekick, antihero, or reformed villain) but CANNOT be evilly aligned. That kinda defeats the point of the competition lmao.
- Explanations are optional but appreciated.
- All final decisions are made by me! Enjoy everyone!
If anyone has any questions, concerns, or just wanna talk about the competition, feel free to send me an ask!
EDIT: The official cutoff date will be Sunday February 19th at 8pm cst!

Another late weekly devlog... but this time I didn't forget, YAY!
Also taking this space to announce I will be more or less offline for the next two weeks at least. I may pop up here and there, maybe dropping some stuff unannounced...
Anyway, let's recap what's been done this past week(s):
This is super recent - aka just now - and completely done last minute, but I've added another template to the Template Assets page!
The Title Page Template, with 7 different ways of making a simple title/menu/landing page for SugarCube Projects (both with the BaseUI and Custom).
Download it here!
Also complete, published and downloadable, is the SugarCube Guide! Loads of words, loads of code, updated explanations and fixed examples. And now you can use it offline!
Get it there!
Also, I should have access to a Mac laptop in a few days (for a week), so I'll try to see how to make the Tweego Folder useable for Mac computers!
Also, also, I'll be adding all these to GitHub soon (promise) so to track issues report in the repos...

MelS completed all edits for Chapter 5 and sent it back to me. I'm doing one last sweep at the document for missed comments and grammar before I'll start coding.
In the meantime, he's back writing for Chapter 6.
It's been busy town here lately, so not much more progress on anything else. I've mainly been playing games in my down time (see @manonamora-if-reviews, I'm trying to finish the Comp 2 months late!) or trying to hack at projects, or organising secret stuff.
Loads of stuff happening in the close future:
The ShuffleComp entries will start trickling in in the next few weeks. Voting will start just after the New Year!
The SeedComp Round 2 has started! If you are looking for an idea to make a game, almost 100 seeds were submitted this season. Deadline to create a game based on those seeds is end of February!
Made a short game this year (>30min play)? Want people to talk about it? Check out the IF Short Game Showcase! They accept up to 3 entries!
Also recently started, the annual Partim 500. It's like the @neo-twiny-jam but in French and with a theme!
The Second Round of the XYZZY Awards will be happening very soon.
