So a while ago I did a poll on who Mark Chasity should date

For some reason, Ted Spankoffski won???? With Gary Goldstein (Attourney at Law) in second place.

Anyway, Officer Bailey made third, and I'd like to make my case for him and my opinion on the rest of the relationships.

I think that Officer Bailey and Mark Chasity would be so cute because they'd balance. Bailey is intense in an overcompensating way, and Mark Chasity is a sweetboi. Like it's such 😠👬😸 and I'm here for it.

I think that they could have a nice, domestic relationship, that Mark could make Bailey open up and be vulnerable.

Now, if you're uncomfortable with shipping characters played by the same guy, worry not! Many of us have decided that the cop in TGWDM (the guy who's not Sam lol) could easily be Bailey. And if that helps, do that. Because I love the idea of them.

Opinions of everyone else under the cut.

Okay, we're gonna talk about how these relationships would go, and I'm gonna go in decending order of who won. Which means:

Ted Spankoffski- I think that maybe it'd be a gay awakening hook-up? Nothing long term for them. Mark doesn't deserve that, honestly.

Gary Goldstein- This I think could be a longer term relationship, where they meet bc of some legal trouble or something like that, and they date for a few months, but Mark is overall neglected by Gary's busy worklife. They have a civil breakup, and maybe even a comforting relationship if they need a shoulder to cry on.

Offer Bailey- I already said, but I will continue to say: Bailey is someone Mark would consider separating Karen for. Someone he can just be with, and who keeps his life interesting without being abusive or rude to him, and who will be emotionally vulnerable with him, even if it's probably only with him. I think of of ever broke up, it would be so bittersweet. I think it would be Mark picking his religion and family over Bailey, and Bailey holding back tears while supporting him because he knows that his family means so much to him and since Bailey may have wanted something like that for so long (imagine him with a little girl omg) he'd understand even more

No one, he will never be happy- Sad, but realistic.

Dan Reynolds (with Action News, weekdays at 10 pm)- He's someone I highkey put to fill slots, so I'm surprised he made 5th. But like... I can sort of see it? Like, I feel like one would flirt with the other, and the other would either not notice or ignore them.

Bill Woodward (tied with Gerald Monroe)- I have mentioned how I think Bill is straight, and how it makes me sad bc I like him and Paul, but it's prolly one-sided. But it would be cute if he were queer. Someone said they met at church, which I love, but I just think Bill is (sadly) straight.

Gerald Monroe (tied with Bill Woodward)- I feel like this would be more of a similar relationship that he'd have with Max’s dad; a not-even-friends with benefits that's out if the public eye because they are bigots who happen to be attracted to men. They would both not treat Mark like a person, and while he might even enjoy that for a short period of time, he would realise that it's unbalanced and would eventually leave like he deserves.

Kyle's Dad- So, we don't know Kyle's Dad, I just thought it was a silly, cute idea. Besides Bailey, it's either Kyle or Jason's dad that I could see, just based on how nice their kids are when given the freedom.

General John MacNamara- Okay, I get it, it's a cute idea. Uh, Jon McNamara is married though and I don't wanna fuck that up.

Other (Put in Tags), AKA President Howard Goodman apparently- I think this is silly, but I actually like it. Especially if he is with Mark during/after his meeting with Wiggly. Because hooo boy, imagine that conversation. A stuck, frozen, breaking down Howie calling his long distance hubby and telling him 'I just met a dark god and almost died,' and Mark doesn't want to belittle his experience or preach in a moment of absolute madness, so he just doesn't know what to do? I see the appeal 100%

The café was modern and bright, almost all white and grey, every surface flat and gleaming. Estelle stepped into line behind a bland-looking man in a business suit, having a conversation with a curly-haired barista.

        ”So…she’s not here?” He asked quietly. The barista looked annoyed. 

        “No, Paul. Emma is not here.”

        “Well…will she be here?”

        “Emma’s shift starts at noon today. I can get you a black coffee, how’s that?” The curly-haired woman threw a dish towel over her shoulder, scowling at him.

        The man, Paul, sighed and placed his credit card on the counter for the barista to run. “Thanks, Nora.” He dug through his pockets for an extra few dollars and handed them to her. “That’s for Emma. And please, Nora. Don’t sing.”

        She rolled her eyes and tucked the cash into her apron pocket. “I’ll give it to her when she comes in.” She stormed off into the back, presumably to make Paul’s coffee.

        Paul stepped back, noticing another patron in the shop. “Oh. Hello there.” His voice was monotone, almost robotic. Estelle waved. “Good morning.”

        ”I like your, uh, sweater. Very…red.” Paul said awkwardly. “That’s a good color. Much better than blue.”

        ”I agree.” She chuckled. He was quite funny. “So, who’s Emma?”

        ”My…girlfriend. Well, not really, we haven’t put a label on it. But we are intimate!” His face flushed and he bit his tongue quickly. “I mean, not intimate like…we just…mutually like each other.”

        Estelle laughed heartily, patting him on the shoulder. “I get it, man. Best of luck.”

        ”Thanks…I don’t think I caught your name?”

        ”Estelle! I run the thrift shop down the street, Cattail Creek. Have you ever been in? You look familiar, if I’m honest.”

        He bit his lip, a pensive look coming over his face. “Maybe? Possibly? Yes, I think Bill dragged me in there one day. Is it the one with the cats inside? One of them licked me.”

        ”Yeah, those are my cats.” She chuckled. “They roam around the store sometimes.”

        ”I might have to come back sometime. You’re…slightly less insufferable than a lot of people I know. Like Ted. No one likes Ted.” Paul stared at her, dead-eyed, but Estelle had come to figure that was probably a normal, friendly thing for him. 

        “Whoever Ted is, I hope he doesn’t know that.” She fiddled with the sleeves of her sweater. 

        “He does.”

        ”Oh.”

        An awkward silence filled the room, and Estelle was thankful when the barista, Nora, returned with Paul’s coffee. He took a sip and winced, burning his tongue on the steaming liquid. He took his receipt from Nora and nodded a goodbye to Estelle. She sighed and smiled, watching him leave and hurry towards one of the many office buildings, coffee teetering precariously in his hand.

        By the time she’d turned around, Nora had disappeared into the back room. Standing in her place was another barista, this one with long, wavy brown hair with golden-blonde highlights. She had a full face of makeup that was done to absolute perfection. Her lips were full and plump, her cheeks had just the slightest blush, and her eyes were the color of coffee with cream, a sort of hazel-brown. She was smiling, and Estelle could feel her heart pounding. Her name tag read ‘Zoey Chambers - Beanies Manager’. 

        “How morning!” Estelle squeaked. Zoey narrowed her eyes, looking a mixture of confused and disgusted. Estelle clasped her hands over her mouth. “Hi, sorry, I tried to say good morning and how are you at the same time, and, it came out weird.” She met Zoey’s eyes, blushing deeper.

        ”Oh. Alright, whatever. What do you want?” Zoey moved her mouth, and Estelle noticed she was chewing gum. “Uhm…just an iced mocha latte.” She forked over the 20 dollar bill. “Keep the change. For a tip.” She was stuttering, tripping over her own words. 

        Zoey smiled, but Estelle could tell it was sarcastic. “Thanks. You know the policy for tips here, right?” 

        “Uh…no?”

        Zoey pointed to a sign on the tip jar, one that Estelle had failed no notice: ‘Tip For A Song’. “You get a performance with your morning coffee.”

        Zoey then burst into song, her voice a clear, vibrant alto. Estelle’s eyes widened as Zoey moved as gracefully as a swan behind the counter, dancing to the melody that came flowing from between her lips. Estelle’s eyes relocated briefly to Zoey’s chest, but upon realizing she was transfixed, flickered back up to the other woman’s face. 

        Zoey’s song finished, and she looked back at Estelle with a satisfied smirk. “Like what you see?” She started on making the latte, and Estelle could only nod, dumbstruck. 

        She handed Estelle her drink, shrugging. “For 15 bucks I had to give you a show. You’re kinda funny.”

        “I am?" Estelle barely ever got compliments, especially not compliments from hot women with big boobs. Zoey laughed, handing Estelle her receipt. "Yeah. You dress kinda funky too."

        "Is that a good thing?" Estelle blew on her coffee to cool it off while Zoey leaned against the counter. "Or are you making fun of me?

        "The second one." She snorted, smirking. "In all seriousness, though, you are pretty. In a sort of...1920’s film noir sort of way. How old are you?"

        "23 as of this January."

        "Nice, same here. Well, not the January thing, I'm a Leo." She placed a hand on her chest, which caused Estelle's eyes to go there, which caused her to blush and look away.

        "Oh. I'm a...I don't know, actually. My birthday's January 5th." 

        "Capricorn then, nice." 

        Estelle didn't know shit about zodiac signs, but decided to take that as a compliment, seeing as Zoey seemed knowledgeable on the subject. 

       "You got a boyfriend?" Zoey asked suddenly. Estelle nearly choked on her latte.

        "Uh, no. I don't...swing that way." She admitted quietly. Zoey only seemed mildly surprised. 

        "I get that. I swing both ways if you know what I mean." She said with a wink. "I'm pretty much open to anything if it gets me a good time, maybe a drink. I only asked because I just broke up with my dickhole of a boyfriend and have been needing something from someone else."

        Woahhh...that went from a one to a ten in record time. What does she want to do, hook up? Do I want to hook up? What the hell is happening to me? Am I still staring at her tits? I'm probably staring at her tits. 

        "We...we did just meet," Estelle stammered. Zoey's eyes were on her, unblinking. "Yes, and? I think you're cute. That's a lucky break for you." 

        She passed Estelle a slip of paper, a phone number scrawled on it in black Sharpie. "Think about it. I get off at noon."

Resolution (peter-centric, 500, T). Since he was eleven, Peter’s New Year’s Resolution had always been the same: this year I will be braver.

It’d been an accident, really, the first time, he didn’t know Dorcas had been discharged from the hospital wing and Marlene had skipped Divination. And the second, third, well, that was being kind to yourself, wasn’t it? It must’ve been coincidence that Remus gave Lily a cat the following year, but, truly, how unkind of him.

4 (apr) —

the grace unasked for (remadora, 17k, T). my @remuslupinfest 2022 entry, DH AU-but-make-it-canon. What if… instead of going to Bill's after the Malfoy Manor, Harry and co. flee to Tonks' parents' house, where Remus and Tonks are hiding with Andromeda?

That point was driven home two days ago, when the peaceful silence of their morning lie-in was interrupted by the sound of things clattering to the ground and smashing. This wasn't exactly a rare occurrence in the house—just not when Dora was asleep beside him. They'd rushed to Andromeda's room to find her doubled over the dressing table, objects atop all swept to the floor, and the last vestiges of a Patronus dissipating. "Ted," she'd gasped, clutching at Dora. Remus had put his arms numbly around the mother-daughter huddle, feeling waves of horror cresting and breaking over him. Feeling for all the world like he was taking another man's place, living another's life.

More Than This (wolfstar, peter-centric, 3k, T). a mwpp-era asexual!peter POV wolfstar get-together for another @hpqueerfest prompt. i am pretty proud of how many parallel storylines i managed to squeeze in here!

James’ long stretched-out arm is heavy across Peter’s shoulders and, feet curled under her, Lily’s toes are poking his side lightly. They’re grounding anchors, a counterweight against the heady lightness of too much firewhisky and too much future.

9 (sep) —

she's dressed in black again (1.5k, T). technically canon compliant bella/andromeda/prewett twins + narcissa/molly, written for Untagged fest.

Let Bellatrix and Andromeda have their cut flowers, their champagne flutes, in the crystal chandelier-adorned ballroom. She and Molly would be out in the garden, at home amidst the common weeds. Unobtrusive and overlooked, staying away from it all.

He was probably pressing Remus into the railing with the forcefulness of his kisses, James realised, but he didn’t have it in him to care about anything else other than his hand curled around Remus’ girth, slick with precum, and Remus’ hand in the small of his back, pulling him closer. Remus’ moans and tugs combined to create an unspoken urging of right here, right now, that James found himself utterly powerless to resist.

She lets herself be drawn in by the guests’ gushes and gasps, the brilliant choreography, the magnificent conjurations. It’s a testament to their talent, their synchronicity, and of their determination to fight — their anticipation of a better tomorrow. The ferocity of their spellwork speaks to how deeply they believe it, and for a moment, she believes it too. Beams of light up the night, in every colour she can name, shining all the brighter for the darkness. She thinks, irresistibly, of hope.

“Good,” Dorcas hears herself reply, in a tone she hardly recognises, but she’s pleasantly surprised. She walks to stand between Marlene’s legs, adjusting them so that Marlene’s straddling her. As she levitates the string of Christmas lights around the red strips ascending to the ceiling, Marlene whimpers for her, legs tightening painfully around her hips. “Pose for me, sweetheart,” she instructs.

Post canon Jmart end up in Hatchetfield pre TGWDLM. Jon for obvious reasons ends up in the hospital, as does Martin. Martin is questioned by the police because.. Y'know.. Stabbing. Meanwhile, Jon meets Becky and they hit it off right away. Becky feels bad for the homeless British guy who got stabbed by his boyfriend and offers him a place to stay. She's understandably put off by him asking if Martin could stay with them and wants to say no but Martin doesn't SEEM like a malicious guy and he and Jon seem to love each other a lot, so she agrees. Now they're roommates.

Ok, so, the Lords in Black already exist before the fears arrive in this dimension, just with WAY less power. When the fears end up in Hatchetfield, they kind of give the Lords in Black more power. The Apotheosis, Black Friday, etc. are all rituals like the ones in TMA and can be stopped, but since its not necessarily the Fears anymore, there's more concern over how successful the rituals are because they could end the world.

Now let's get into TGWDLM. Jon still has ties to the Beholding and can still Know things, but his powers are way more limited and similar to his power in season 3. He doesn't need statements anymore and can sustain himself gaining knowledge of the new universe that's different from his own. Jon, with the help of Becky managing to pull some strings, gets a job at a local library. Martin gets a job at Beanies and befriends Emma through the power of bitching about customers together. When the meteor hits, Jon Knows that something bad is going to happen. Becky isn't necessarily aware of Jon's powers or he and Martin's past, but she knows something is up. Jon tells Martin about what he found out and talks Becky out of going to work. Martin wants to warn Emma, and they end up at Beanies during the Cup of Roasted Coffee scene. Jon, Becky, and Martin end up joining the main group of TGWDLM, but Jon once again Knows about someone who may be able to help fix everything. That's how they end up with Hannah! They go to Hidgen's, Jmart aren't a fan of him, Charlotte gets infected and they deal with her. Jon goes with Paul and Bill to get Alice. Alice survives because I make the rules and I say so. (On an unrelated note, Paul has a sexuality crisis when he finds out asexuality is a thing.) They go back, save Emma, Martin, Ted, Becky, and Hannah and get the hell out of there. They get out on the helicopter (without Zoey, thank you very much) and figure out a way to fix everything (probably because of Webby). Everyone who got infected, regardless of when, don't remember that day (and the days that followed while they figured out a solution.)

In between BF and TGWDLM, things are pretty calm compared to what everyone's dealt with. The group of "survivors" become very close and everyone is now well aware of Jon's powers. Jon and Hannah in particular get a sort of parent-child dynamic. Lex is kind of confused about the very scarred man her younger sister has latched on to but he seems nice enough.

Black Friday rolls around and Jon has been dreading it ever since he was oh so kindly informed about the Very Evil Doll. Jon and Martin are unaffected by Wiggly (why would they be? They're, surprisingly, the happiest they've been in years.) Jmart tag along with Becky (who's still under Wiggly's influence) in an attempt to stop ANOTHER ritual. This time, they're much more concerned, because they don't have as many allies as they did last time. Jon and Martin, knowing they'll be outnumbered in the toy store, end up looking for Hannah instead. Due to there connection to PEIP and Hannah's "two doors, not one" Jon is able to stop Xander from attempting to bomb Wiggly. The rest continues as normal, with Becky and Tom rekindling their romance, Lex getting Tom out of Wiggly's influence, and Becky stopping the ritual. Ethan also survives because I say so.

After all of this, some of the Nightmare Time stories still happen (TWITW, WW, HAM, probably some S2 ones that I haven't seen yet) Jmart dont really play a role in these except for probably TWITW.

in the past he wouldn’t care much about it if you werent uncomfortable but i’d be lying if i said his marriage hadn’t taken a mental toll on him

he respects you as a person and doesn’t want you to think he’s snooping araound in your buisness but will probably try and unsuspiciously stand close enough to hear the conversation

if you show any signs of being uncomfortable he’s not afraid to stap in and tell the person to knock it off

might come off a bit protective and will try to explain himself later saying that the person seemed to have bad intentions and he was just worried, as a friend

Henry

he has quite an ego so he doesn’t get jealous easly but the second someone dares to flirt his expression goes from neutral to ‘hOW DARE YOU-’

inserts himself into the conversation and acts oblivious as to why that would be inappropriate

not very straightfoward about it but throws countless hints that he is way better the other person and you surely arent interested

probably links your hands or puts his arm around you

might start a fight but he wouldn’t want to phisically battle his oponent, especially in front of you and since no sane person would agree to a duel with him nothing usually happens

it’s not that he couldn’t win a normal fight it’s just that he’s too proud and doesn’t want to look disheveled

if the person leaves he will turn to you and talk about THEIR audacity

in theory he’s ready to throw hands the second whatever suggestive comment comes out of the stranger’s mouth but lets face it he’s not a fighter, he only hit someone twice and spent most of his time in all shows hiding behind someone or running away

so his reaction depends on whether you are uncomfortable with that other person or not/he’s too dense to realize that you are

if it’s the latter he will probably walk off (even if you are hanging out) and be very bitter about it later because why would he show feelings when he can just push them deeper in and hide back behind his asshole persona

if he does help you hovewer i’m deeply sorry bacause it’s ted and you know this is going to end badly

he’s all bark no bite and crosses many lines verbally insulting the other person and probably pushing them too or provoking phisical violence in any other way

so in short he phisically has no chances and if you don’t try to fix all that mess (or even if you do) it’s not going to be pretty for him

although his thing is kind of running away so who knows

either way it’s a bit, how nick would say it, pathetic

but it’s nice that he cares

Let’s talk about the legality of AO3 a non-profit organization and what that means for your donation dollars, shall we? I have seen...way too many posts on my dash knocking AO3 and I thought I’d just write something up instead of adding to yet another misinformed post. Here we go.

I’m not a CFO, but I am a business graduate, work at a for-profit organization with a similar governance structure as AO3, and I spend two months of each year assessing the fiscal health of non-profit organizations. In that volunteer work I look at: how efficiently volunteer dollars are being spent, whether the agency is meeting their targets in terms of people served, the overall organizational heath, and efficacy of services rendered. 

All boring, but essentially it’s making sure donations go to the healthiest organization with the fittest program. 

AO3 is a 501(c) corp. “A  501c3 is considered a charity, and the IRS allows donors to take a tax deduction for contributions of goods, cash and other assets.” This type of organization “can make a profit from its operations, but if the entity consistently makes a significant annual profit, the IRS might remove its tax-exempt status. For this reason, tax-exempt organizations try to operate at or near a break-even basis.” (x)

This is just, the basic legal requirement. They make too much money, they lose non-profit status. As a non-profit could pay staff. In fact, AO3 makes a distinction between volunteers and staff. Does this mean anyone at AO3 is profiting? From the FAQ:

"The OTW is an all-volunteer organization, so everyone serving is doing so on voluntary basis. At the same time, our roles have differing levels of responsibility and commitment, which we distinguish by using the terms volunteer and staff.Generally, a volunteer serves as part of a pool (e.g. tag wranglers, coders, testers, translators) or a workgroup with specific and focused tasks to complete. Pool volunteers typically are not required to attend meetings; workgroup volunteers may be expected to do so. Volunteers do not hold a vote within their respective committee unless they also serve as committee staff.Staff serve on an OTW committee, are expected to attend meetings, and actively participate in committee business and projects. The time required of staff is often higher than for volunteers. Also, after nine months of service as staff, an individual is eligible to run for a seat on the Board of Directors.”

and 

“No, no one in the Organization for Transformative Works receives monetary compensation for their work.”

These aren’t just claims AO3 can make arbitrarily. Non-profits are sometimes subjected to the roughest financial scrutiny during a financial audit. Lying about this and getting caught would result in hefty fines or even the loss of the non-profit status, which would kill the site. Immediately. I checked, and AO3 does an independent financial audit every year, as well as files financial statements. They aren’t lying or hiding money.

Additionally, if you know anything about corporation governance structure, AO3 is run by board and committee. No one person can make financial decisions, and no one person can secretly siphon off donations. 

“The Board treasurer is specifically responsible for the creation and implementation of the OTW’s budget, but the Board must vote to approve the budget, as well as any unplanned expenditures. For smaller transactions, the Board will delegate responsibility to OTW’s committees to determine what goods and services may be necessary.”

Each board member, legally, has a duty of care:  "directors and officers of a corporation in making all decisions in their capacities as corporate fiduciaries, must act in the same manner as a reasonably prudent person in their position would.” What does this mean for non-profits? Board members must 

1. Have a keen interest in the fiscal affairs of the nonprofit, including its overall, current financial position, the reliability of the reports the board receives, and the effectiveness of the nonprofit’s management of incoming and outgoing funds.

2. Require regular, timely and complete financial reports from internal finance staff or contract staff and expect the board to hold staff accountable for meeting the standards of timely reporting (for example, providing financial statements no later than three weeks after the close of the prior accounting period).

3. Ask critical questions about the financial reports the board receives, including budgets, periodic financial statements, the annual Form 990 and annual, sometimes audited, financial statements.

If you care to look, AO3 does...all of this. Above and beyond, actually. I looked. Here are their 990s, board meeting minutes, independent audits, financial statements, and prior strategic planning benchmarks.

Regarding fiscal responsibility, non-profits (healthy ones anyway) should use financial ratios to determine the health and long-term viability of the organization. Here’s a simplified version. What both of these articles (or any article worth its salt) will confirm is that it’s important to keep a reserve for future viability. AO3 calls this its “rainy day fun” or “financial reserves.” 

Yes, AO3 is creating a conservative investment portfolio. Yes, they have long-term plans which include server upgrades. This isn’t predatory or misleading, this is literally business 101. The healthiest non-profit organizations don’t try to make a profit, but they are smart with the money they earn: 

Step 1. Earn income (1-2 fund drives a year, completely voluntarily, stop if funds are received early. completely on par with an organization this size. Think about your NPR radio station.)

Step 2. Have a budget with enough capital for operating expenses (enough cash flow to pay bills as they come up) and a small portion for regular savings. 

Step 3. Invest intelligently to keep a healthy margin in reserve for long-term strategic planning. Have a strategic plan which includes capital expenditures (investing back into the organization). 

This right here? Maintaining a healthy reserve for capital expenditures? Creating a marginal income without earning too much to risk losing 501c3 status? Running on volunteers to avoid ethical concerns? That’s how you operate an organization that takes donor funds seriously, that is a good steward of its resources, and which will be here in 3, 5, 10 years. 

You don’t have to donate. I’m not actually advocating either way. Just putting in my experience. There are amazing ways to support your favorite fic authors that don’t involve donating to AO3. However, if you do choose to, rest assured that it appears that AO3 is doing everything from a healthy organization perspective and that your donor dollars are treated with respect.

1) How many works do you have on AO3?

57. About to be more than that, though, because I'm working on several next parts to several series, and I assume they count that as individual works.

2) What’s your total AO3 word count?

324,681. Again, that's about to go up several times.

3) How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?

Well, that gets fun because what I have on AO3 is mostly Marvel-related with one tiny Hannibal ficlet, one Bill and Ted, one M*A*S*H (that was by request and likely will never be a repeated fandom as much as I love the show), one Zohra Greenhalgh (Contrarywise and Trickster's Touch). Now, what I've written in the past as a fandom was Jay and Silent Bob, and that will NEVER happen again. But yeah, mostly it's Marvel and mostly these days Avengers-related with some X-Men still thrown in for flavor.

I respond to all comments I get. I know that for some people it takes a lot of guts to comment, and I think that needs to be acknowledged, even if it's a simple thanks.

6) What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

I don't write a lot of angst, and usually by the end of a fic, I prefer to have it happy and not angsty. That said, I'd have to say that it's a toss-up between these small fics:

Seemed like he knew me, he looked right through me

All the losing and the knowing

Sunset

Time After Time

I have angst in my stories. Some. They mostly seem to be sass and humor and romance and cuddles and sex and making out, but the angst is only a tool to keep the characters fighting and on their toes.

7) What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

I've got several series going now, so I won't count them in since technically, none of them have ended yet. I thought about putting that Never Piss Off a Telepath; Or How Logan Opened His Mouth and Said a Stupid Thing just because that's one of my funniest fics, I think, but I would have to say that the happiest ending may be in Two Turtle Doves, which is a Charles Xavier and Raven Darkholme as children/brother and sister at Christmas fic, and the ending still really makes me smile a lot when I re-read it.

8) Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you’ve written?

I haven't yet, technically. I started an X-Men/Avengers/Wicker Man (1973 version) one after all of the Brian Michael Bendis AvX bullshit storyline, and I may eventually finish it. I was angry. I wanted Steve Rogers to pay. I lashed out in the fic. Or was going to. The other crossover I'm planning (and even hinted at it in Spinning on that dizzy edge (I kissed his face and kissed his head) will be a Tony Stark/Chris Knight (Real Genius) fic, taking place not long after Chris graduates and is working for Darlington. I've got another one in mind that I've made notes for that's an Avengers/Flash Gordon (1980 version with all the flash and color and Queen songs), and then I just finished watching Boardwalk Empire, so there's a 1920s Marvel'verse AU, though I guess that's not really a crossover.

9) Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Hahahaha! Funny you should ask. I received my first ever hate on To get it right even a little / and that little grudging and awkward the other day. In fact, the hate was the first comments I got. I've deleted it, and I did report it but AO3 couldn't do anything about it because the person who commented used a name but wasn't logged in, so they couldn't have their IP traced. But it was all full of "you should kill yourself" and "I hope you're raped" because they claimed to be a Stucky shipper (in fact their moniker was "stuckygirl") and that Steve and Loki were a horrible ship because Loki is just a nasty greasy villain. Blah blah blah. I was more amused by it than anything, especially since there's a chance that the person who commented was a stalker of one of my besties who keeps trying to lash out at them and may well have decided to lash out at me as well. Who knows? Who cares?

10) Do you write smut?

Oh yes. As much as I can get away with. Smut is life. Smut is harmony in the universe. Smut is KFC's 7 herbs and spices.

11) Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don't think so. I have no idea how to figure that out.

12) Have you ever had a fic translated?

Again, I don't know. How would I find that out?

13) Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Nope. I've rp-written before, but I've never co-written a fic.

14) What’s your all time favorite ship?

I don't just have one. Sorry. FrostIron, WinterFrost, FrostShield, WinterIron, Stucky, Stony, Scogan, IronDiamond, DiamondFrost, DashingFrost, DiamondClaws, and I may soon get to see how much I love DiamondShield.

15) What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

That may be the X-Men/Avengers/Wicker Man one. I have to feel the anger to finish that one off, I think, and I've pretty much decided that neither Brian Michael Bendis nor AvX exist, so.

16) What are your writing strengths?

I think humor and sarcasm are two of my biggest strengths, to be honest. I didn't realize it till I started adding it in almost organically, and that's pretty much where it is for me. I'd say the ability to convey emotions, expressions, touch, and romance are right up there, too.

17) What are your writing weaknesses?

Well, outside of the writing itself, trying not to be discouraged by people's lack of comments and kudos on my fics to the point of not writing is a writers block-inducing weakness, but I think I'm getting over that mostly these days. Trying to find the right balance between explication, "showing," and description, though I've also recently decided that description is not a weakness because I want to make the settings pretty visual.

18) What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I think there's a fine line that this concept dances on. I LOVE to do it, but I also now want to make sure that it works smoothly into the story. I try and provide translations in the notes when I do it. I try not to overdo it, but I think it's necessary. It's the same thing as writing in accents. That's also dancing a fine line because you want to give a flavor of the accent, but you don't want to overwhelm the readers with dialect and accent. Not unless you're Stephen King and you've just written Dolores Claiborne.

19) What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Okay, the first fanfiction I ever wrote was when I was about 13, and it was a Children of the Corn Mary Sue. It was in pencil. Wrote it start to finish. And it has since gone to the gods in the circular altar.

The first fandom I consciously wrote for was Jay and Silent Bob, and yes, I still have those stories, but they no longer exist online since @jcrewguy blessedly took down his sites. Those fics will never see the light of day again because I don't like the movies anymore.

20) What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

Nope. They're all my babies, and I love them equally. I can't pick a favorite.

What happens after a pool day the muggle way. (Sequence of “Pool day the muggle way”)- Charlie Weasley imagine

It has being a couple of months after we were able to experience a pool day in the way that muggles have them. Everyone was able to enjoy it and were fascinated by the way muggle do things without magic. Unfortunately, all of us got busy with our respective responsibilities;  Dora went back to work as an auror, the older Weasleys went back to their respective jobs, the Grangers and younger Weasleys went back to Hogwarts. As for Romina Tonks, she had gone back to her magizoologist training and had begun to interact with Hippogriffs. At this point of her training she was still not in Romania for it would take a year for her to be able to move there; she was going to move there when she was trained enough to work with dragons.  

Working with the Hippogriffs was quite amusing and lovely in Romina’s point of view; she had to gain its trust in other to work with it. To the point in which the Hippogriff had become quite protective of her and it made things more interesting for the training process. In fact, it was a positive aspect not just for the training process but for Romina’s current condition. A condition that Charlie and herself made possible a few months ago while they were at the muggle pool with friends and family. Said condition was... pregnancy, guess that Charlie was pretty serious when he told her that he wanted to practice baby making.  

Ironically, Romina had kept her secret from everybody since she knew they would probably become over protective and perhaps, Molly would forbid her to keep her training until the baby was born. Deep down she knew that the news would have to be told because at some point it would be difficult to hide. However, she had made the decision to tell everybody, including Charlie on Christmas eve. At least that was what she was planning to do until Andromeda told her that Dora was going to be going to a dangerous mission and would most likely not be home for Christmas. Therefore, she decided to write a letter to her sister informing her about her condition and making funny remarks about she was right; also telling her that she wanted her to be the baby’s godmother and crazy auntie. 

Knowing her sister, Romina decided to not tell anybody about this since she wanted to tell everyone at Christmas. Dora felt quite frustrated about not being able to tell this secret to anybody since she was very excited about this news. She also wanted to tease Charles and her sister because she knew what they were up to that certain day. Even though she was not good at keeping secrets or waiting, she made the decision to wait until her sister was ready to tell the news. However, this did not stopped Dora from teasing her sister whenever she was able to write to her. 

As Christmas was getting closer, Romina’s baby bump had started to show and she had to start to hide it since it was a secret. It had started to get harder for her to keep this secret from Charlie since they always said everything to one another. However, she was determined to keep up her plans and keep it to herself...and Dora. All in all, she was planning how to tell everybody during Christmas dinner. Everyone was going to be there which meant that she would not have to write letters to those that were not present. 

Christmas day had finally arrived and Romina couldn’t be more excited about the reveal of her little secret. Even though she was already on vacations, Romi had not gone to the burrow because she knew that Molly would actually figure that out. For this particular day, Romina decided to wear a printed blouse with a contracting printed cardigan to hide the belly bump. After getting ready, she gather the gifts that she had made for everybody and left to the burrow. 

When she finally got there, the twins and Ron came out of the burrow running along with Molly who was following them. Molly was scolding the twins for pranking Ronald which was not strange since the twins caused a lot of mischief. Subsequently, Bill walked up to the door and said “Are you going to stand there while holding that many things in your hands?”. Romina looked at him and chuckled “I wasn’t planning on doing that but I was rather shook when I witness the chaos”. He raised an eyebrow and then said  as he was walking towards her to help her with the things she was carrying “Thought you would be used to it by now”. 

Afterwards, they walked into the house and Romina was embraced into a warm hug by Ginny. Then she was greeted by every single Weasley, well mostly all of them and their friends; Hermione, Harry and Violet. Before anyone could say anything, Molly walked into the house with the twins and Ron and they all greeted her. Subsequently, she said to Romina that Charlie was in his room debating about which Christmas sweater to wear. Romina chuckled as Molly guided her to his room to “help” him decide. 

When she got into his room he was not deciding what to wear, in fact, he was shaving without magic; he was using the muggle method to shave. Therefore, instead of saying anything, Romina decided to just stare at him in admiration as she liked to say. Not only she was admiring his determination to understand the way that muggles do somethings but she was surely checking her baby daddy out. As she saw him put the razor down, Romina made her presence known by saying “I am liking what I’m seeing but if your mom sees the mess that you are doing...I’m afraid you will be scolded until the end of times”. At that moment, Charlie jumped as if his life depended on it which cause Romina to laugh.

Once he turned around he gave her a surprised look and then jokingly glared at her as he said “Are you trying to scare your boyfriend to dead? because if that is your plan then you might as well keep on doing that”. Romina crossed her arms and gave him a teasing look then said “You work with dragons and yet you get scared when your girlfriend talks to you?”. Before he could say anything in his defense Bill came into the room and said “That is why Charles is always the twins target when Ron is not around. By the way, mom wants you both to come down so that we can eat but I see that my little brother is taking longer than usual to get ready”. At that moment, Charlie turned to his brother and threw a towel to him “Tell mom that we’ll be down soon and stop unless you want me to embarrass you in front of everyone including Fleur”. 

Bill rolled his eyes and chuckled as he left the room and the couple began to talk about their last encounter among other things. As they were talking, he finished getting ready and both made it to the dinning room. Molly had made everyone’s favorite dishes and said that they would all start eating after the last guest arrived which caused everyone to grunt. A few minutes later, Dora, Ted and Andromeda Tonks ended up apparating in the burrow saying “We made it”. Romina stood up and hugged her family members while trying not to get emotional; when she hugged Dora she whispered in her ear “Wouldn’t miss the announcement for anything in the world”. 

After dinner, everybody began to exchange gifts to one another which was very exciting for all. Once it was Romina’s turn to exchange gifts, she gave all of them little boxes. Inside of those boxes there were onesies that said “Little Weasley on the way”. After all of them had their boxes, she asked them to opened them at the count of three. Subsequently, everything that could be heard in the burrow were gasps and giggling that came from Dora. Everybody looked at Romina and she was smiling as she was making eye contact with Charlie who was very shocked. 

“Are y-you?...Are we?...really?” was all that Charlie could say 

Everyone began to ask questions to her and somehow managed to remained seated. Therefore, Romina took her cardigan off and raised her blouse to show everyone her baby bump. Subsequently, everyone began to cheer and eventually started congratulating the couple. Once they let go of Charlie he made it to where Romina was and he hugged her while asking why she kept it a secret for so long; to what she said that she wanted to continue her training with no interference. He gave her a stern look and said “You know that you won’t be going back at training until our child is born AND you are coming to Romania with me”. 

All of a sudden, every single person went to where they were at and hugged them. Andromeda, Ted, Molly and Arthur were very emotional and felt very happy at that moment. Bill and the twins were making jokes about how Charlie will probably name the baby after a dragon. Dora had a smirk look on her face as she looked at Victoria, Ginny and Hermione as she said “Romina made me the baby’s Godmother. At that moment, everyone snapped and looked at her as she revealed how I told her before anybody else; making Charlie look a bit upset but he was rather too happy about the announcement to make it too noticeable. 

At the end of the night, Charlie took Romina to his favorite spot of the burrow as everyone had already left or fallen asleep. He expressed that he was a little hurt that she didn’t tell him as soon as she found out which she apologized for. Then he kissed her forehead and her baby bump; it was the most adorable moment from the night. Well, that was until Charlie told her that he had something that belonged to her but that he needed to ask a question first. Therefore, Romina told him to ask her anything and that was when he kneeled down as he took a box out.

He looked straight in her eyes and asked her to marry him to which she obviously said yes! This was a Christmas that they will always remember for the rest of their lives.

A Guide to RPing on Tumblr

I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately, so here’s my complete walkthrough on how to create a Tumblr RP blog.

Create Blog

Howdy, so the first thing you’ll have to do is click ‘register’ and make yourself a blog. You also have the choice of making a sideblog instead. I’m a person who likes to have this separated, so if you are only thinking of playing a couple characters, this might be the way to go for you. Here’s the difference between main/side blogs (taken from Tumblr’s help center):

Choose any url for now (we’ll talk about that later), and go to the next section.

Please note: When you make a new blog, it won’t show up in the search/people’s notifications for a bit of time (a day or so). Make sure you validate your email address asap. 

Get xKit

If you haven’t installed xKit, I highly suggest it. Go to their blog here, and get it for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Opera.

What is it? A little toolkit to make Tumblr easier to use.

When you install it, it’ll pop up on your top bar thing next to the lightning bolt like this:

It’s that thing with the x’s on it.

When you click the x’s this pops up:

Brill.

You can click ‘Get Extensions’ at the bottom and basically choose whatever you want, but may I recommend the following:

1) Editable Reblogs allows you to edit reblogs. Right. This is good because when you are replying to RP threads they tend to get rather long. Some advice that was given to me when I started: when you add your reply, delete everything before your partner’s last reply. So you should have your partner’s post and your post and that’s all. You just click ‘reblog’ and it pops up like normal, except now there’s this little guy:

If you click that, it will make everything in your reblog box editable.

2) One-Click Postage gives you a little box if you hover over the reblog button. It lets you reblog, queue, draft, tag, and add replies right from that page. You can even choose which blog (main/side) you want it to go to.  It looks like this:

The rest I will just say play around with! They are easy to add and take away.

Decide what kind of blog you want.

Multimuse Vs. Single muse: 

Do you want to play one character or a bunch of them? If you choose one character, your blog icon and theme will presumably feature that character or something to do with them. If you choose to focus on one, you should have info about your character available on your blog somewhere. If you choose to have more than one muse, you’ll need a list of the characters you offer and some info about them. 

When choosing a url for a multimuse, choose something that encompasses the spirit of you and your characters.

When choosing a url for a single muse, I go for quotes, nicknames, something about where they are from, what they like, their name, etc. Note: if you have dashes in your url (like mine @strings-have-been-cut) these won’t work with tags. People will have to turn them into separate words or one big word.

I do not have a multimuse, but I have seen them done all sorts of ways. Some people offer characters from all different fandoms, some are just one fandom, one genre, OCs, canons, a mixture...you can do what you like. 

If your blog is not affiliated with any sort of organized game, this is referred to as ‘independent’ often shortened to ‘idie’. 

Your blog description should mention which kind it is. For example: a sci-fi multimuse blog; a Star Trek OC blog; an indie Bill S. Preston Esq. from Bill and Ted RP blog. Details help sometimes. 

Canon Character Vs. Original Character

If you decide to make a canon character, make sure you have it clear somewhere where they are from! Canon characters can be canon divergent (your own version), they can crossover into other fandoms, they can be exactly as they are in your favourite book/show/movie/podcast...each version of a canon is unique and lovely.

If you decide to make an original character, make sure you give plenty of info about them! You want to tell people what fandom they fit into or if they are fandomless. ‘About’ pages are really important for OCs because there is no fanbase for them (yet!).

What should be in your description?

When someone clicks your blog, they will first see a dash preview sort of thing. It shows a description and a small header, along with the posts you’ve made. This description also shows up somewhere on your actual blog and on the top of the page on mobile view. It’s a great spot to give all the info about your blog real quick. I always include the following:

What is it? (Independent Data from Star Trek RP blog)

Age restrictions (21+)

Who you will RP with (mutuals only is called ‘private’ and choosing who you follow back is called ‘selective’.)

Mun’s name (played by [insert your name])

Possibly a link to your about/rules for easy access on desktop and mobile. I’ll talk about this more below. I call this ‘navigation’, but it varies. Note: if you edit your icon/dash header, any html links seem to go away. I’ve needed to go back into the theme customizer and add them back in. To add a link to your description, go into your customizer, go to the description section, and add the html as follows:

In my experience, you need a couple of pages on your blog to get you started:

About the character - basically a biography

Rules - so people know what you are about

About the mun - so people can know about the person they are writing with

Possibly a link to your ‘ask memes’ tag - see below.

These can be organized however you like, but people tend to look for a few specific things.

About the Character

This should read like a biography. Back in the day, we used to call them ‘character apps’ and they had all your basic info about the character. Sometimes this section contains a subsection called ‘verses’ in which the mun spells out what universes they exist in. Say I had an AU where Data owns an arcade in San Francisco in the 80’s. I’d list that as one of his ‘verses’. This is extremely important for OCs, but very helpful for canons too. 

Data has four: TNG era, TNG movie era, AU where he lives after Nemesis, AU where he’s around during Star Trek: Picard. I gave a little info about both.

Rules are usually organized into the things people are looking for before they start playing with you. Some good info to include:

Your policy on adult content

How you deal with tagging triggers

Your policy on following back

Your policy on writing with mutuals vs. anyone

Do you allow personal blogs (non RP blogs) to follow you?

Note: People will look for how old you are. Many people in the RPC are adults, and they want to write with people their own age. If your age is not posted somewhere clearly, they may not follow you back. 

About the Mun 

This is really just a little blurb about you. Some people include their age here. Some people include links to their other blogs. Some people include their Discord info, as that’s really popular right now. It’s just nice to know who you are writing with.

It’s important to note that there are different ways to present all of these blogs. Some people have them as pages on their Tumblr blog itself, some people put all of this (Bio, About, Rules, etc) in a Google Doc and link it, some people use Carrd.co - there are a ton of ways. A friend of mine did this amazing post about some options out there. I personally go for Carrd.co, seeing as I am on mobile a lot and I find it very helpful, but it’s up to you. 

Now I have a blog with all the info. How do I get started?

Well there are a few things you can do to get yourself out there.

Make yourself a promo. It’s basically an advertisement for your blog. If you aren’t good at graphics, you can head to an RP Resource blog and see if they have any you can use with their permission. You can also just post a picture with some info. For me, the info on this promo matches that of my blog description - I want people to know what I’m all about as soon as they look at it. Find a directory for your RPC by searching in the search. This will allow you to a) reblog your info and be listen in a place where people can find you and b) allow you to find others in your RPC in an organized way. Then you can go through, find people you think you’d like to follow, and follow them. 

Make a starter or plotter call. This is, again, just a picture or graphic and some information about it. Here is one I made for Data specifically asking for Picard threads:

I asked for a specific universe and a specific character here. I also put all relative tags in case someone is just searching Tumblr (although I think it’s more for the people who follow me). Here’s a simpler one I made for B-4 that’s a lot more open. 

They don’t have to be super fancy. 

When people see a starter call, they can like your post. This is a quick an easy way to let you know they are interested in a thread. 

4. Ask Memes. Asks are invaluable. There are whole blogs dedicated to ask memes that you can post to your blog, and these can be really easy ways for people to come up with plot ideas or just to read some of your writing. I always keep a link on my blog to everything tagged ‘ask meme’ so if people want to find a meme they have choices!

It seems like there’s a certain aesthetic on these new fangled RP blogs. Do I have to do that?

No! But you can, if you want. If you aren’t good at coding and graphics, there are a lot of RP resource sites that can help you. (Can I recommend this one?) It is nice to have things like a face claim, a nice looking promo, a cool theme, etc. but at the end of the day, we all just want to write and have fun.

Advice?

Look, I’ve only been RPing on Tumblr for a couple of months and I am by NO MEANS an expert. I have gotten all of this knowledge through the help of friends and nice strangers willing to answer questions for me. Here are a few things I have picked up:

Respect people’s rules - We are all shy and all have our own thing going on. If someone says they’re uncomfortable doing one thing, just like...don’t do it.

Talk to other people - Don’t ignore the mun! Unless they really want you to. It’s better to ask questions, compliment writing, talk about your plots and stuff...it’s so much harder than trying to figure out what the other person feels/wants.

Ask questions - I’m a 6th grade teacher, and I get a million and fuckton questions every minute usually. It’s been eye-opening, because now I’m all about asking questions about everything all the time. I think knowledge is amazing. People know all different things, and the most logical way to be a productive society is to share knowledge (that’s one of the main teachings of Surak) so ask some questions! Hell, ask me some questions! Reach out to someone who seems nice!

Oof this will be tough. Most fandoms I have multiple favorite characters but I’ll give this a shot.

Star Wars: This is an incredibly tough one. If you’ve played Jedi Fallen Order you know how amazing Cal Kestis & Nightsister Merrin and they quickly became one of my favorite ships. But if I had to choose only one character from the universe it would be Din Djarin/The Mandalorian. His character is just so badass and awesome and goes on forever. Watching his character development over the 16 episodes as he becomes a father to Grogu. I could be here for a month with all the reasons Din is amazing so I’ll just leave it short here.

Naruto: This is another tough one but Minato Namikaze has always been my favorite character. Dude was such a gentle badass. In the Ninja World where leaving your friends to die instead of saving them to complete the mission was what you were suppose to do, and The White Fang was dishonored after choosing his comrades over the mission, Minato was so badass during the Third Great Ninja War that all the other nations had flee on sight orders if you saw him. He killed a thousand ninja in the blink of an eye and then was back home in an apron cleaning dishes for Kushina. Absolute badass. Getting to see him with Naruto during the 4th Great Ninja War was so great.

ATLA: Ugh so tough. It really comes down to Sokka and Azula for me which isn’t surprising since Sokkla is my OTP. But I think if I had to choose just one it’d be Sokka. So much of who he is as a goofy, smart, kind hearted, intelligent dumbass, is who I’ve been/tried to be in my life. I relate to both Sokka and Azula which is why I love them both so much and this answer could vary from day to day tbh.

Mass Effect: Liara T’soni. Such a badass awesome character. Every playthrough I tell myself I’m finally going to romance Tali and yet I end up romancing Liara again >.>

Star Trek: Captain Sisko. Sisko was just such a badass powerful character. Picard was the federation poster boy. He was the one Starfleet held up and said “look! Look how well he represents our utopian ideals!!!” which is great and all. But Sisko. Sisko was the man who had to make the hard calls, who had to get his hands dirty and do things that don’t fall into that morally perfect little garden the Federation liked to believe itself to be. He had to make harsh calls, do hard things, to protect utopia. In The Pale Moonlight will forever remain one of the best episodes of Trek and nothing will ever be able to change that.

So… I lied. I cheated. I bribed men to cover up the crimes of other men. I am an accessory to murder. But most damning of all… I think I can live with it… And if I had to do it all over again… I would. Garak was right about one thing – a guilty conscience is a small price to pay for the safety of the Alpha Quadrant. So I will learn to live with it…Because I can live with it…I can live with it.

 Sisko was a good man making hard choice in a brutal war the likes of which the Federation had never imagined. He had to make the hard calls to protect not only the Federation but the Alpha Quadrant as a whole. As soon as the Dominion had pacified the Federation and Klingons, they would have turned on the Romulans for sure.

Stargate: This is a tough one. Growing up I always admired Samantha Carter. Smart, clever, charming, badass, every bit a warrior as the men. It was inspiring to see a well written female character who was one of the smartest people on Earth, who was compassionate yet firm in her believes, capable of defending herself and her team mates. The Stargate franchise spawned so many great characters but I think if I had to choose one it’d be John Sheppard. A lot of considered him an O’neill lite, and he definitely had a little bit of O’neill to him, but he was different enough and his own character that I really enjoyed watching over the 5 years of Atlantis. His willingness to put his own health and safety aside to rescue his friends and team mates(See S5E01 “Search & Rescue” where despite the fact he’s got internal bleeding and probably a whole litany of other problems, he goes on the rescue mission for Teyla, disobeying a direct order from Sam while also telling her he had more respect for her than any other CO he’d ever served under). It’s that sort of selflessness coupled with his humor, charm, wit, and his ability to come up with clever ideas that leave Rodney frustrated he didn’t think of that, that makes Col. Sheppard my favorite.

Battlestar Galactica: Lee “Apollo” Adama. This is another tough one like most of my choices, as RDM’s nuBSG had so many amazingly developed, flawed, characters that made them seem like actual, real human beings. But Apollo was my favorite I think. Smart, skilled, compassionate. Strong moral compass... for the most part(we’ll gloss over his affair with Starbuck while married to Dee). I will never not feel bad for him. I think part of him truly did love Dee, just not as much as he loved Kara, and as soon as it looked like he was rekindling the spark with Dee she killed herself. And then they finally find Earth the Second, and it looks like he’s finally going to get to settle down with Kara like he’s always wanted, poof, she’s an Angel and has completed her purpose. Bill is off burying Laura, and he’ll probably never see his dad again. Dude went through so much character growth, so much pain and hurt and ended up alone.

Dragonball: I grew up watching DBZ so it’s always had a soft spot in my heart. And my favorite character has always been a tie between Future Trunks & Vegeta. But I think I’m going to give it to Future Trunks. He was such a badass. His entry was sooooo badass, the way he dismantled Frezia and his father with his sword. When he got back to the future after the Cell Games he wasted no time killing 17 & 18 and then Cell. He was a take no bullshit, don’t fuck around like Vegeta, Goku, and SSJ2 Kid Gohan(All I can think of anymore is Dragonball Z Abridged where Gohan gets so mad at himself for letting his Vegeta show xD) Not to mention kid me for whatever reason was super enamored with his seatbelt buckle style belts he used. Idk why but like 10 year old me thought that was the coolest shit ever.

Teen Titans(the good one not GO): Raven. I always loved Raven and she’s been my favorite TT since I watched the OG show. Her character development throughout the show was amazing. Going from thinking she was too dangerous/weird to love to having friends and a family. Will always be my favorite and it’s not even a contest.

When Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden recently called out Donald Trump as the first racist president, he was way off the mark. Of course Trump has uttered countless remarks that can be deemed racists, but there have been many other presidents guilty of making racist remarks as well.

Surviving documentation shows that at least 12 presidents were slave owners at some point during their lives, according to The White House Historical Association. These include George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, Andrew Jackson, Martin Van Buren, William Henry Harrison, John Tyler, James K. Polk, Zachary Taylor, Andrew Johnson, and Ulysses S. Grant.

“Many of the early presidents, George Washington to Zachary Taylor, owned Black slaves and held power when African Americans, Native Americans, and Latinos did not have the right to vote or serve on juries and could be refused service in public accommodation,” The Progressive reported. “They often repeated racist views that were commonly held in their times, even when challenged by scholars or civil rights leaders.”

Nearly every U.S. president could be tagged as racist, according to Margaret Kimberley, author of the book “Prejudential: Black America and the Presidents.”

“So these are the facts of the story… I think it’s important to start speaking in this way: to tell people that Lincoln isn’t who we thought,” Kimberley said in an interview published by Counterpunch. “That the Kennedy brothers had to be dragged to support civil rights, even in the small ways they did. That Woodrow Wilson was an open racist. That even those presidents who were not slaveholders dare not oppose the forces known as the slave power — the slaveocracy”

Donald Trump

There may be too many racist remarks from Trump to choose from. There was the time he described a majority-Black congressional district as a “rat- and rodent-infested mess.”

Then there was the time he said on Albany’s Talk 1300 in April 2011, “I have a great relationship with the Blacks. I’ve always had a great relationship with the Blacks.”

How about the time he called Black people lazy, Politico reported. “I have black guys counting my money…I hate it,” Trump told John R. O’Donnell, the former president of Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino, according O’Donnell’s account in his 1991 book, “Trumped!” “The only guys I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes all day.”

Trump, according to O’Donnell, added, “‘Laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that.”

Thomas Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson became the country’s third president. His racist history goes back before that. Jefferson may have written in the Declaration of Independence that “all men are created equal,” but in his only book, “Notes on the State of Virginia” published in 1785, the slave-owning president expressed his view about Black people.

According to Jefferson, Black people were cursed with “a very strong and disagreeable odor” and were incapable of producing art and poetry. And though he had a sexual relationship with at least one of his slaves, Sally Hemings, he wrote, Black people should be deported because Black people and whites could not live together peacefully, AP News reported.

Andrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson was a slaveholder from the South. Before he became the seventh president, he offered $50 for the return of a runaway slave in an 1804 advertisement. He promised an extra $10 “for every hundred lashes any person will give him, to the amount of 300.” According to Jon Meacham’s 2008 book “American Lion: Andrew Jackson and the White House,” Jackson owned around 150 slaves and freed none of them in his will.

He called abolitionist pamphlets urging Black equality “unconstitutional and wicked,” AP News reported.

Woodrow Wilson

Before he was president, the Virginia-born Woodrow Wilson was president of Princeton University. He worked to keep Black people out of the school.

As the president of the U.S., the Democrat refused to reverse segregation in civil service, though he got to the White House with the support of some African-American men, AP News reported.

In 1915, Wilson received backlash when he screened the racist film “The Birth of a Nation” at the White House. The silent movie retold Reconstruction through the eyes of the Ku Klux Klan, with the KKK portrayed as heroes and African Americans as uncivilized.

Lyndon Johnson

Democrat Lyndon Johnson stepped into the role of the presidency in 1963 after John F. Kennedy was assassinated. While he sought to push a civil rights bill amid demonstrations by African Americans, Johnson often used racist epithets to describe African Americans including those he had appointed to key positions.

Richard Nixon

Republican Richard Nixon also regularly used racist epithets while in office in private conversations, AP News reported.

“We’re going to (place) more of these little Negro bastards on the welfare rolls at $2,400 a family,” Nixon once said about what he saw as lax work requirements. Nixon also made derogatory comments about Jews, Mexican Americans, Italian Americans and Irish Americans.

Ronald Reagan

When Ronald Reagan was the governor of California in 1971, he phoned the White House to speak with President Nixon and during the conversation, called African people “monkeys,” which sparked laughter from the president, The New York Times reported.

“To see those monkeys from those African countries damn them,” Reagan said. “They are still uncomfortable wearing shoes.” Nixon can be heard laughing on the Oct. 26, 1971 tape. The transcript was revealed years later when it was released by the National Archives and published by The Atlantic.

Reagan became the 40th U.S. president in 1981.

Bill Clinton

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton took a racial jibe at Barack Obama in 2008, saying “this guy would have been carrying our bags,” NDTV reported. Clinton allegedly made the remark to Sen. Ted Kennedy as he tried to convince Kennedy to endorse his wife, Hillary Clinton, who was Obama’s opponent for the Democratic nomination.

Then only days before President Obama was nominated for re-election, Clinton said, “A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee,” according to the book “Game Change,” by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin.

Franklin D. Roosevelt

During World War II, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed an executive order to have hundreds of thousands of people of Japanese descent––including 80,000 U.S. citizens–– incarcerated in concentration camps. The U.S. was at war with Japan. Roosevelt said the order was about putting “dangerous or undesirable aliens or citizens” in “concentration camps,” Newsweek reported.

Dwight D. Eisenhower

How long will they last? - There’s a hell of a lot that the two need to work through and work out, but once they do, they’re in it for the long-term.

How quickly did/will they fall in love? - It’s not love at first sight by any means of the word. John eyes her during the initial arrest, but is dismissive. Hana’s only set on looking at Joseph once his attention starts boring into her, and hardly registers that the other siblings are in the room. After that, and once Hana really starts laying into John’s operation, he’s infuriated and intrigued, and Hana’s all too glad for the opportunity to piss him off. But John does fall first, and it’s not too long after she tries to capture him that feelings start entering the mix. Hana’s much further off, but by the time John does start finding ways to ‘help’ her and they seem genuine, any feelings towards him start warming faster than anticipated. There’s a bit of a rift that forms before the two go underground, but over the next few years they’re able to repair it, and start a relationship on much more even footing.

How was their first kiss? - Their first is incredibly ill-advised. It’s during an attempt to capture him, and Hana’s injured and desperate and in the middle of grappling with John when a thought pops into her head. ‘Sharky said he’s into me. Maybe I can use it to weasel out of this? No big deal.’ So, she kisses him. Kisses him and goes, ‘Oh, shit, he’s actually pretty into this’, and then punches him in the dick right after. Their first real kiss is a different kind of desperate later on down the line, and luckily for John, doesn’t require any dick-punching. He does make sure she actually wants this before continuing, however, and once she does confirm that, proceeds to pour every feeling he’s tried burying into it.

Wedding:

Who proposed? - Hana! It’s honestly something that they never sat down to discuss officially, but she has no doubt in her mind that she wants to ask John once the idea’s been planted and she has a ring to do so.

Who is the best man/men? - There’s no ceremony for them, and considering John’s previous role (and the amends he’s trying to make), he would find it difficult to fill this position. Sharky would 100% try to volunteer, though and at that point would just be dragged into participating in the actual wedding himself, so....

Who is the braid’s maid(s)? - Hana would also find her hands a bit tied, and understandably so.

Who did the most planning? - Hana, though by planning it’s more ‘get John alone so she can talk to him’ and luckily for her manages to catch him working in his room. Then when she’s about to get the ring out, fumbles it, and has to dig it out from under his desk while he’s sitting by it. She doesn’t hesitate to propose once she gets her hands on the ring after that, and John’s honestly left speechless for a good minute once he realizes just what she’s doing.

Who stressed the most? - John. Up until that moment he’d drawn a few conclusions he shouldn’t have, and Hana’s glad to prove him wrong.

How fancy was the ceremony? -

Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - N/A - Technically no one was invited since there was no official ceremony, but I think it’s safe to say that Joseph’s invite would've been lost in the mail. Or set on fire by Sharky.

Sex:

Who is on top? - They do tend to switch, but there’s been plenty of times where Hana’s put John right on his back, and he’s hardly tried to stop her.

Who is the one to instigate things? - They’re both pretty awful teases. It’s entirely a game of how much extended eye contact they can hold across a room and during conversation before the other cracks or gets the hint. John also enjoys trying to see how much innocent innuendo he can come up with, while Hana goes for small touch after small touch, seeing how close she can get to him before trying to leave the room. If it’s in an isolated area, she usually doesn’t have the chance, but if not, John’s usually not far behind.

How healthy is their sex life? -

Barely  touch themselves let alone each other | 2 | 3 | 4 | Once a couple  weeks, nothing overboard | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They are humping each other  on the couch right now - It would be a ten here, but their moments together are a bit more spaced out at the start of their relationship. Do they make sure each person gets an equal amount of orgasms? - It’s certainly something they try for, but John would enjoy casually losing count whenever she'd try to tally them up. And would likely be in the process of trying to get an extra one out of her just on principle. The jerk.

How rough are they in bed? -

Softer  than a butterfly on the back of a bunny | 2 | 3 | 4 | The bed’s shaking  and squeaking every time | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Their dirty talk is so  vulgar it’d make Dwayne Johnson blush. Also, the wall’s so weak it could  collapse the next time they do it. - They really have two speeds here. Some night’s John’s softer, caught up in the fact that she’s actually there with him and wants to be, and he can’t help but want to look at her, touch her gently, and take his time. Others, it’s only a matter of waiting for a second of privacy before they’re trying to tear the other’s clothes off.

How much cuddling/snuggling do they do? -

No  touching after sex | 2 | 3 | 4 | A little spooning at night, or on the  couch, but not in public | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They snuggle and kiss more  often than a teen couple on their fifth date to a pillow factory. - John gives her a little space from time to time, but it’s hard for the two not to touch each other in bed, and he won’t hesitate to wrap himself around her. It’s reassuring to have her that close, and more often than not, he’ll actually start drifting off due to the level of contentment setting in. But most affectionate gestures remain behind closed doors for them, so there’s no heavy doses of PDA going on, no matter how badly they’d want to express it otherwise.

Children:

How many children will they have naturally? - One, which John was nervous about to start, but relaxed as time went on. I’m thinking William (Will? Billy?) for his name, mostly because John didn’t like Theodore (if she can’t honor Ted, she’d honor Bill), both Bruce and Wayne were also shot down, and J-names were right out. (and Hana might’ve shed a tear that night over how many of her action heroes were actually named John)

How many children will they adopt? - N/A

Who gets stuck with the most diapers? - At first it’s Hana due to John’s nerves in handling the baby for any period of time, but he’s able to adjust and let go of that fear once they talk their way through it.

Who is the stricter parent? - They’re even at first, but as John gets more comfortable with the idea of parenthood (and makes more peace with the fear that he’ll be just like his parents), he’s able to be more of a disciplinarian. But it really takes very little for him to crumple like a wet paper bag.

Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? - John. He doesn’t have to try too hard with Will, but has a cautious word to share just in case Will thinks of ever being half as much of a daredevil as his mother.

Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? - John’s got a system down, but Hana’s there to sneak in added things to boost their kiddo’s day, like extra fruit, or a cookie.

Who is the more loved parent? - They’re both evenly loved, but Hana’s laid-back nature definitely leads to more partner in crime bonding opportunities (and good-natured pranks on John).

Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings? N/A – In a No-Cult situation John would be able to     finesse his way through these in a way Hana never could. And she’s all too glad to skip them entirely.

Who cried the most at graduation? - N/A, but Hana would be swiping at her eyes, and trying to badly hide the fact that she’s sniffling.

Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? - John. John 100%.

Cooking:

Who does the most cooking? - John will try to get her out of the kitchen to bear the brunt of the cooking, but never fully succeeds. 

Who is the most picky in their food choice? - John, if only because he’ll actively try to stick to a balanced diet.

Who does the grocery shopping? - John would probably take the reins here if only to get specifics, but Hana would definitely want to tag along and sneak a few extra things into the cart.

How often do they bake desserts? - It’s not a common thing at all, but the minute Hana mentions missing desserts and cakes, John might make it one of his priorities. Even though he’s terrible at it.

Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - If Hana had her way it’d be mostly meat, but John gently twists her arm into getting a bit more variety into her diet.

Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - John, and it’s a struggle at first learning to do without a lot of the items he kept in his kitchen, but he slowly learns, and goes as far as thinking of mood lighting, music, and the like. It’s a brand of romance that Hana would call ridiculous at first glance, but secretly swoons a bit over.

Who is more likely to suggest going out? - Hana would for ease, really. John can stress a little too much about making sure every last part of the meal’s perfect, and no matter how many times she’ll tell him it’s fine, he still tries to go that extra mile.

Who is more likely to burn the house down accidentally while cooking? - It’s actually about 50/50 for these two. 

Chores:

Who cleans the room? - John, mostly because he seems like the type to stress clean and reorder things as a means of centering himself, and poor Hana has no hope of ever being that neat.

Who is really against chores? - Neither’s against chores, but Hana does draw a line with the extent she’ll deep clean things.

Who cleans up after the pets? - These two don’t have pets at first, but the cats that Hana ends up attracting lead to more than a few guests sticking around, and she tends to keep up with them.

Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? - This is a rare case of neither, unless Hana’s exhausted and wanting to put it off until tomorrow and John’s back is turned.

Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - John. Things must be in order and staged well, even if the guest in question is a human tornado.

Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? - Hana. She’d probably pretend to do a magic trick with it afterwards, being incredibly obvious about where she’s trying to pull the money from (his pocket, behind his ear), but John would play along, using just enough fake awe to get her to crack and start giggling.

Misc:

Who takes the longer showers/baths? - John. With the shower he used to have, it was the ideal environment to relax and think in.

Who takes the dog out for a walk? - These two don’t have a dog, but there have been times when Hana’s been out (or John), and a few of the cats will just start following them. That totally counts, right?

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - Hana loves decorating, but John turns it into an event, and he’s so over the top elaborate with it she can’t help but laugh and love it all at once.

Who is most likely to sleep till noon? - Neither normally, but John’s odd sleep schedule might leave him sleeping until noon if he was up until 3-4 AM getting work done the night before.
