Rosamund and Pinocchio, who both gave up THE chance for true and everlasting love. Choosing to sacrifice their shot at happiness because it is the right thing to do.
The Frog Prince and the Big Bad Wolf, who desperately craves to maintain their humanity yet decided to sacrifice it for the greater good.
Pib, who gave up control over his own story while facing a tremendous challenge, but may yet find redemption through Jack.
And Mother Goose, who watched his loved ones and part of himself die for a chance to save the world and has now traded a powerful artifact into the hands of the one creature who fears no divinity for a slight chance of liberating those shackled by their stories.
We watch the Children of Destiny realize how heavy it is to carry the fate of the world on their shoulder, yet have the need to relentlessly march forward and fight battles in a war bigger than they are. To find the strength to stray together in order to save the world, or what remains of it.
All of them are steadfast in their belief that there has to be another way to save their world, other than permanently dying or losing their free will, because the alternative is facing the question of what is the point of all that they have lost if they fail now?
