Publishing: Don't Shoot the Messenger

On this, the anniversary of when the original DSM Part 1 was posted, I have an important announcement: DSM is going to be published as a fully polished e-book and print book!

I've been working hard to get it ready, as well as to jump feet first into the world of self-publishing with the hope to self-publish more of my writing in the future.

The wonderful Luwha has done the cover (previously shared around). (Link) but I can now officially connect it to the fact that it exists because DSM will actually be published.

As for differences between what's currently available and the upcoming book besides the sheer amount of editing? This published version will be in third person and contain an exclusive additional (spicy) scene.

The goal is to have the DSM Novella published at the end of August/early September.

I'm very excited and look forward to sharing more updates as things progress! Let me know if you have any questions!

rly wish i could knit or spin while lying down bc my migraine is a little better when im lying down but then im bored out of skull. but if i try to do anything that involves raising my arms for more than a minute it is absolutely agonizing so unfortunately, sitting up in bed with the lights off and knitting it is

#occurred to me recently that it cant be normal for that to be the case #like if my arms arent by my sides then they need to be propped up on something or Pain #even worse if i have to hold them at shoulder height or higher #like reaching up to dust the corners of the ceiling or hammer in nails way above my head is so horrible #i cant keep them up for more than two minutes and its so bad the whole time #but even just keeping my arms propped up on my stomach while i knit while laying down ? cant do it. does not work #ill admit im describing this at least 50% in the hopes somebody else relates and has tips or info xD #other 50% is bc i like to complain #chronic illness #anyway am going to bed #and by that i mean im knitting

tdov was like a week ago already but I just wanna say when I came over to vacation slash help my sworn brother move flat he told me, "ever since you said you wanted to get top surgery I've been thinking about it. it's straight up number two on my bucket list"

Princess Choco is the eldest of Broppy kids and heir to the throne. Though she's probably the most un-princess like Troll you'll ever meet.

Choco trained as a blacksmith for many years, forging weapons for the guards and protectors of Trollstopia. Shes not sure what inspired her to make weapons as a career, but the process of forging just speaks to her. The sound, the smell, the excruciating heat. It just clicks for her.

Choco spends most of her time in her forge, only coming up in the evening to eat, talk with her family, or occasionally go out to party.

She, like all the Broppy kids, is very close with her siblings and parents. Branch was the one who taught her most of what she knows about forging, since he picked up skill during his time in the bunker.

Choco is a strong-willed, stubborn, loudmouthed woman who cares deeply for her friends and family, and will go out of her way to protect them.

Despite being a pop troll, rock is where her heart lies. She loves the loud music, the even louder parties, and the absolute chaos rock concerts bring. She occasionally visits Volcano Rock City to perform with Thrash Jr.

She currently resides in Trollstopia alongside her parents and siblings.

Fun Facts!

- Keeps her hair swept back in a mullet like fashion. Annoys the hell out of her more fashion-forward siblings (which is why she doesn't change it)

- Dropped an anvil on her tail during her first year of smithing. But because she refused to stay inactive long enough for it to heal, the bone healed improperly. She braces it now, as it will start to hurt after a few hours

- Developed fire-resistant clothing with the help of Lemon, since she keep burning all hers off

- Often seen hanging out with Rosebud, Fern, and Peaches on her off days
