She had never felt like that.Never felt the same pull that others had to romance.To her,it was just…not something she enjoyed.Or wanted. Everyone made it seem like being in love was the best thing in the world.Like you had to be in love atleast once to be truly happy. But she had never felt that way towards anyone,and she didn't think that she wanted to either. She wanted to be that close,That intimate with someone,sure,but not like that. Not in the icky,lovey dovey way.But in the friend way.In the "close friends that cuddle way". But she doubted something like that was even possible. So instead she just wished and avoided. Avoided any questions about her "soulmate" or "when are you going to get in a relationship?".Avoided any sign of romance. She lived her life from day to day avoiding it all.

But no matter how much she didn't want to admit it,she grew tired of all the avoiding.Tired of the dodging.She told herself that she could just avoid the concept forever,but a small part of her knew that wasn't true.Knew she'd have to meet her soulmate one day.Knew she'd have to answer those awkward questions about her love life eventually.But she dreaded that day.She shivered at the mere thought of a soulmate,so how would she react when she actually met them?

She simply preferred not to think about it.Prefered to shove it to the back of her mind.It was simply easier that way.

Idk. Her name is written as “Dira” in katakana, so that could be romanized as “Dilla” or “Dilah” (but we won’t know for sure until an official English localization is out). The clothes… She works for a home delivery service as a truck driver.

UPDATE: Her localized name is "Dylla"! I'll be updating her name tag on all relevant posts.

That spade earring + blonde-ish hair makes me wonder if the fan theories about Mrs. Spade being a former delinquent herself are true…? Although it could also be just her natural navy hair color fading to a lighter color from time (I do see streaks of navy there)! Those could also be highlights like Lilia’s.
