hi my name is august and for the past week or so i have become so consumed by thoughts of avatar the last airbender that it is actually ruining my life and relationships.

what if i wanted to make another insane promo post?

yeah, ik, its promo time again. BUT this time around i do wanna add in the post both my cousin and niece

one thing i did get wrong, heartz is my niece, starz is my cousin! this will basically be going over what each of these 2 do (...and im also adding in a bonus competitor/promoed person, well actually 2 because I GOT A CHANNEL YIPPEE)

each channel will be seperated up so yeah lets go!

first channel:

Starzzz.andgalaxy (my actual cousin, lol) is a great yter who absolutely deserves to be celebrating more then just 170 subs! since shes actually here with me, i can let her say a lil something on the matter:

shes very very fun (and also with this i hope all the god damn hate comments shut lol) and does very cool things such as:

(comment is from me lol, we'll get there soon) For right now these are just rating videos of her avatar, but I find them very fun (plus since I play roblox if needed I can help with filming lol)! Not much to say on it cause it's not a common kind of post, so onto the next form, which is:

As you can see, she does very cool art, this one in particular is a tutorial on how to draw bodies. Is it the best? No, but the fact she's trying makes it great! (this is also where I've seen a couple hate comments come up, so yeah, I'm trying to be mature enough to not commit violence for her upon them) She does admit this video isn't her best work, but she does A LOT of very very cool drawings! Go check them out and her channel of course! There is one thing she also posts about which I love most of all...

3. Paper Dragons!!

(the first image is her first dragon, second is her most recent i think) I don't get how these things are "paper furries", but I do know THEY ARE SICK AS FUCK. I got to see one in person and they're very cool, all with different stories! I honestly wanna ask for one but right now, I'm gonna stick with watching them.

One thing I forgot to mention my cousin doing (well, actually my cousin's section is just kinda old because it's from when she last came over, but she's back to help me again, yay!) is making memes like this. Sometimes they do involve a paper dragon, but I think they're pretty funny and/or relatable (also dragons very cool)!

2. Edits (and Undertale related things)

I'm putting these 2 in the same category just because of the example image above. While my cousin has recently started doing edits, Heartz is the only 1 of the 2 to make anything Undertale related. While the Undertale stuff comes once every blue moon it seems, that doesn't make it any less enjoyable.

This is another one grouped together, but because this is the first drawing related one I've seen. They're very big FNAF fans, of course leading to things like this. Is it the best? No, but they tried very hard of course, and maybe you could leave some tips for them to improve with!

We Watch the Clouds & Stars: an OriginsSMP TNTduo Comic ☁️💫 | Anecdote: Awake or Alive [part 1/?]

hello !!!!!!!!! im back on the grid again and with a bang, here to deliver a comic ive been working on since september ! its gonna be pretty messy, inconsistent, and just purely me having fun . therell be a lot of things ive thought through thoroughly, and therell be some things i forgot to even existed ! all in all this is a comic about a character whos been gone for a year and one that doesnt even exist, so its all built from me being silly

there will be sensitive topics discussed or depicted ! those will have a warning placed beforehand for each update, even though many of these things are meant to be up to interpretation or implied . some anecdotes ive written have been quite heavy though, so if i end up finishing them, listen to the content warnings

this will be a non-linear story, so instead of chapters i have named them anecdotes . they will be moreso bits and pieces of my o!quackity and o!wilbur's lives, specifically of them together, so some parts will be before or after others . some parts will reference each other, or foreshadow, but u likely wont need to read the anecdotes in any specific order

^ and so, because of this, the dynamics of wwtc&s!tntduo will change and will be inconsistent, just as what happens with real people if u look into random pockets of their life . some anecdotes theyll be more comfortable with each other, some theyll be more spiteful, some theyll be more awkward, etc. especially since oquackity has no character and owilbur is underdeveloped

this comic is a lot about change but also keeping familiarity in said change, which is totally not just an excuse for my inconsistent ass nope nuh-nuh. this time its actually relevant to the characters !!!!

and YEAH . i am doing all this just bc cc!quackity mentioned in the 2021 wine stream that he was in the originssmp discord and wanted to actually play but never did . im still mad abt it so ive decided to just make shit up now 👍

by the way !!!!!!!!! the big wings wilbur has on the cover r actually not canon anymore . Lol . i drew that before i had a more concrete idea of the comic and its concepts, but i really didnt feel like editing it (the tail is also missing), so i kept it cause idrc FDKDFKJ

After many hours of editing and rewriting, part 2 of the I Won’t Apologize series is hereeee

Pairing: Rooster x Pilot!Reader, Ex!Hangman x Pilot!Reader

TW: angst, mentions of toxic relationship, fluff, swearing, no smut but definitely some spice (who am I), I think that's all, please tell me if I missed any.

Summary: Hangman wants to talk to you and he won't take no for an answer. Seeing you again made him realize he has some things to say and you really couldn't care less.

The next morning you and Rooster are getting ready for your first day of training, maneuvering around each other as you each do your respective routines. After eating a quick breakfast and grabbing your energy drinks to go, you're out the door. As Bradley navigates through traffic, getting closer and closer to the base, your anxiety starts rising.

You're thankful the two of you opted to rent an Airbnb for your month-long stay instead of staying in the barracks. It gives you more time to mentally prepare for the possibilities of what the day could bring. Though you're outwardly feisty, deep down, confrontation makes you nervous. Last night you were suppressing the urge to throw up after every word left your mouth.

Bradley notices your heavy breathing and looks over to see you gnawing on your lips and bouncing your knee. Both nervous habits of yours. He reaches over and puts his large hand on your thigh, gently squeezing to remind you that you aren't alone this. The warmth and familiar weight brings you out of your thoughts and you smile at him fondly.

Despite all the pain you went through to get here, you'd do it a million times over if it meant you get to experience being loved by this man. This is the type of love that you thought didn't actually exist. The type of love that heals you from the inside out and makes you a better person.

Before you know it, you're pulling into a parking space and climbing out of the bronco. Rooster holds your hand as you make your way inside, sitting next to each other in the half-full hangar. A few of the other pilots are already lost in conversation and you look around, taking attendance. Jake isn't here yet.

You're grateful you made it here before him. The idea of having to walk to your seat with his eyes on you makes your skin crawl. At that exact moment, you hear footsteps and see Jake walking towards the group. You turn back around in your seat and glue your eyes to the chalkboard in front.

The briefing goes smoothly, and you manage not to look at Hangman the entire time. You could feel his eyes burning into the back of your head and you don't miss the daggers Rooster sends his way every time he catches him staring at you. Captain Mitchell dismisses the group and you stand with Bradley, making your way towards the locker rooms.

You're laughing with Rooster when you hear boots hitting the ground behind you. You silently pray it isn't who you think it is, and keep walking. "Y/N, wait up."

You groan when you hear the blonde call out after you before stopping and turning around. "What the fuck could you possibly want, Jake?" Your voice is cold and it's clear that this was already more interaction than you want.

His tone is even but you can tell he's nervous. Good. "Can I talk to you for a second?" You roll your eyes, giving him a blank stare. "Talk." He glances between you and Rooster before speaking. "I was hoping we could talk alone."

You feel Bradley tense behind you, and he lets out a loud scoff. "I think the fuck not, Bagman. You've done enough. Anything else you have to say is just going to hurt her more. That's not happening on my watch." He moves slightly in front of you, blocking part of your body from Jake.

"It's fine, babe. You have five minutes, Jake. You can talk but I can't promise I'll listen." You're starting to get pissed off that he won't just let this go. You nod your head towards a door to an empty conference room before walking towards it without another word.

Bradley follows you and grabs your hand before you can go inside. He leans down and gives you a soft kiss before gently taking your face in his hands. "If he does anything or you're uncomfortable, just call for me. I'll be right here. I love you." God, you love this man. You give him a small smile. "I know." Jake watches the interaction and feels his heart twist. He fucked up.

You walk into the room and before Jake can say anything you whip around to look at him, crossing your arms over your chest. "Was it real? Was any of it real?" You were seething as you snapped in his direction. So much for keeping your cool. You sink your teeth into your bottom lip, feeling it start to tremble.

You hate that you cry when you're angry. All of the hurt and betrayal has boiled away and all that's left is unadulterated rage. You turn away from him, refusing to let him see you cry.

He considers reaching out to you but thinks better of it. He knows Rooster is right outside the door and he genuinely believes that if you call for him, he'll break both of his hands for touching you.

"Yes." It’s all he can bring himself to say but you aren't satisfied. "Then why did you do it?"

He sighs running his hand through his blonde locks. "You engraved yourself in my heart and it terrified me. I was so in love with you that it hurt. I still am. I kept hurting you and I didn't know how to stop. I was arrogant and selfish." He says it with such conviction it makes you turn around and look at him.

"You don't get to say that to me. You don't get to tell me you still love me. Especially after last night." You bark out, pointing your finger accusingly. You clamp your eyes shut, willing the angry tears not to fall.

"I know. I didn't mean what I said, but it hurt me. Seeing you so happy with somebody else like you belonged with him all along." You open your eyes and look at the ground as you process his words. " I did- I do belong with him." Jake sucks in a sharp breath before talking again.

"Look at me. I need you to see how sincere I am when I say this." You slowly bring your gaze up to meet his.

"You're the love of my life. I will be sorry for the rest of my miserable existence that it took losing you for me to realize that." He blinks quickly and clears his throat. You notice his cheeks are flushed. This man has alot of fucking nerve.

You really want to hate Jake. It would be easier. But Bradley and his goddamn pure soul made you a better person. The old you would have screamed, cussed, and hurt him however you could. But he already pulled you out of character last night and you are determined not to fall back into old behaviors. Jake always had a way of bringing out the worst in you. You take a deep breath to calm down before answering.

"I'm not the love of your life, Jake. One day you'll have that movie type of love that takes your breath away and consumes every cell in your body. Just not with me." You watch as his face falls.

"How do you know?" His voice is small as he stares at his fidgeting hands, cocky demeanor long gone. He looks so boyish. You go to speak but before you say anything he looks up, eyes rimmed with tears. "What if you were it for me?"

You shake your head before reaching up to cup his cheek. He closes his eyes and leans into your touch, painfully aware this is the last time you'll ever touch him like this. You know he doesnt deserve your gentleness, but you cant help the pain in your heart seeing him so broken.

"I know because I found it with Bradley." You pause and Jake is sure that a serrated blade being twisted in his heart would hurt less than that statement. He opens his eyes to look at you as a tear falls. You wipe it away before retracting your hand.

"We were always meant to be a lesson to each other. What we had would have destroyed us both, we just didn't want to accept our fate."

Deep down he knows you're right. Your relationship was chaotic, filled with fighting and hate fucks. You did love each other, but it wasn't a safe love. You just didn’t realize it at the time. It was a lustful and dangerous love. The kind where you were both on fire, and if you weren't careful you would burn each other to the ground. Sure, he had been your shelter from chaos and your rock in hard times. But he was also the cause of the turmoil in the first place. Loving Jake was an endless cycle of hot tempers and slammed doors followed by bruising kisses and discarded clothing. It was hate and euphoria viciously entangled, snaking its way around your throat and threatening to strangle you. He thinks back to one of your last fights.

He watches you wrench the door open and get out before the truck comes to a complete stop. He slams the gear shift into park and stalks after you. "Don't fucking walk away from me!" You swing the door shut behind you, not caring if it slams in his face. His hand catches it at the last second and he shoves it open, almost putting a hole in the wall with the knob.

You don't bother looking back, too busy discarding your shoes before stomping off toward the bedroom. By the time he catches up to you, you're angrily taking off your jewelry in front of the vanity. Your back is to him but he catches your eyes in the mirror. Your pupils are blown wide, no doubt a symptom of the ugly storm brewing behind them.

He'd never admit it but he picks fights sometimes just because he thinks you look pretty when you get angry. Your eyes hold a fire in them and your chest heaves as you take labored breaths. It was a downright sinful sight.

You're the first to speak, turning around to look at him. "Tonight was embarrassing, Jake. You acted like a dog marking its territory!" You're yelling, and you think you're going to explode when you see him roll his eyes.

"Oh, please. Don't act like you didn't notice that asshole flirting with you. He was eye fucking you all night! And you were entertaining it!" You don't miss the way the vein in his neck pops when he yells and you briefly imagine dragging your tongue along it before re-focusing.

"What the fuck are you talking about, Seresin? We made small talk for like 30 seconds before I came right back and sat on your lap!" He fucking hates when you refer to him by his last name. His jaw clenches as he stares you down. The irony of the situation isn't lost on him. He knows he has no right to be jealous when he's been double-dipping his dick for months. He just doesn't care.

He takes long strides before stopping in front of you. He boxes you in with his arms and leans down until you can feel his breath fan across your face. He smirks when he hears your breath hitch involuntarily.

His voice is raspy when he asks, "Did you want him to fuck you? Did you think about what it would feel like to have another man inside of tight little pussy of yours?" He isn't even mad anymore, now he just wants to provoke you. His dick twitches as he thinks about how this night would inevitably end.

This time it's your turn to roll your eyes. "Jesus Christ, Jake. How jealous can you be? I'm allowed to talk to another man, you don't own me." You scoff.

He presses his body into you and ghosts his lips against yours. His voice is dangerously low and he chuckles. "Oh, I think I do sweetheart."

All bets are off as soon as the words leave his mouth. Your lips crash together, tongues fighting for dominance. You feel his hand tangle in the hair at the nape of your neck and pull your head backward. His lips trail down your jaw to your now exposed throat. He wastes no time finding your sweet spot, sucking a dark bruise there.

Round and round you go.

He has to stop his train of thought, as he's fairly certain rocking a semi right now isn't going to help the situation. He nods his head, swallowing hard. "I just wish it hadn't ended the way it did." You look away, releasing a long breath."There's always a silver lining. If you hadn't fucked up, I wouldn't have fallen in love with Bradley. So I suppose I owe you a thank you for that."

He smiles, but it comes out more of a grimace. He hadn't thought of it that way, and he hates that he's to blame for his own personal nightmare becoming a reality.

“What were you expecting from this? Did you think I’d fall back in your arms and uproot my life with Bradley just because you want me to?” You question. You listen as he stutters. “No, I-I just wanted you to know I’m sorry.”

You take a long pause, choosing your next words carefully. You don't hate Jake anymore. But you don’t forgive him either. You dont know that you can. "Sorry doesnt just fix everything, Jake. I’m sure you were hoping for some kind of relief from your guilt, but you’re not getting it from me."

His eyes shut and he struggles to hold back tears. "Losing you hurt like hell, Y/N." The next words tumble out of your mouth before you can stop them. "Good. You have no one to blame but yourself."

That stung, but he knows he deserves it.He continues, "But I’d rather you hate me than be apathetic. Hate means you still care." You stare at him, noticing him shrink under your gaze.

"I dont hate you, Jake. I pity you." You know its mean but its the truth. "I'm not sure if you were wanting to leave this room as friends or old lovers, or what but it’s not happening." He can choke on his guilt. He nods and stares at the ground.

"I dont want any bad blood, I need to know I can trust you in the sky. Is that going to be an issue?" He notices your shift and tone in demeanor. It’s strictly professional. He shakes his head softly. "No."

You give a curt nod. "Good. I’ll see you out there Liuetenant." It was always offputting to Jake how easily you could switch off your emotions and compartmentalize. He sits down and drops his head into his hands as tears fall off his face. He fucked up.

You open the door and hear a thud followed by "Fuck. Shit, that hurt." You poke your head around the door to see Bradley rubbing the side of his head. You quirk an eyebrow when he notices you looking at him.

"Were you trying to listen through the door?" You quip with a smile. He shrugs and you notice his cheeks flush. "Maybe." You laugh and move your body until it's fully in front of him. "You're so nosy." You tease while sticking your tongue out at him.

He knocks your shoulders together as you start walking towards the showers again. You were both up next for the training exercise. "I was worried. How did it go? Are you okay?" He stops and turns to you, searching your eyes for any sign of distress.

He doesnt tell you that he heard the entire exchange, deciding to let you disclose what you feel comfortable with. He almost bust down the door to strangle Jake when he heard him say he still loves you. But he knows this is your bridge to cross, and he's damn proud of how you stood your ground.

"I'm fine Roos. I don't know what he was expecting, but I'm sure it's not what he got." You confide while starting forward again. "Good. I was worried I'd have to kill him." You chuckle and look over at his face, seeing he was dead serious.

You come to a stop outside the locker rooms and turn to him. You launch yourself forward and wrap your arms around his neck, inhaling his cologne. He instantly pulls you into him, leaning down to nuzzle his face in your hair. You stay like this for a minute before letting out a muffled "I love you".

He reluctantly pulls back and kisses the top of your head. "Why don't we stay in and get take out tonight? You can fill me in on what went down in there and then I can take your mind off it." He suggests, wagging his eyebrows.

You let out a cackle at the gesture before agreeing. "That sounds like a good plan, Brad Brad." He groans at the nickname and you dart into the showers with a loud laugh before he can grab you. " See you up there!" You call out, ignoring the "You're gonna pay for that later!" He shouts after you. If only he knew that's exactly what you want.

SPOILERS FOR SIDE ORDER AHEAD!!!!!!

EDIT: I ACTUALLY FINISHED THE GAME WOOO (just one run tho lol) im gonna write my thoughts under the previous stuff

OK SO. i think im a little..? dissapointed..? abt sider order?? like im kinda conflicted abt the lore, also i suck BALLS at the game

the thing is i have done 5 runs so far AND COULDNT GET A SINGLE WIN. the most i can do is up to floor 20.... im literally so bad at this game I ONCE DIED 2 TIMES IN AN EASY LEVEL. im newgen guys.

maybe im not fit for rougelike games but like... idk. i feel like me and the fandom as a whole expected so much more from side order. i feel like if the game is gonna make you replay the same stuff over and over again it should atleast have a SOUL CRUSHING LITERARY MASTERPIECE TYPE OF LORE like OE and Alterna

AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW DIRTY THEY DID FOUR???? literally called them an irrelavent loser and then sweeped them aside... THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A PALETTE ICON???? theyre not even a secret boss smh.... agent 4 had so much potential I WILL NEVER FORGIVE NINTENDO FOR THIS. and like sure the parallel canon level kind of includes four but that thing is literally an npc??? like imagine what they couldve done with the story if they had included four in it:

when four is left out from the squidbeak splatoon they try to prove themselves by siding with marina with her project. it makes perfect sense. marina and four are both scared of being seperated by their loved ones. but four gets consumed by their anger and jealousy and goes full order mode LIKE DO YOU GUYS SEE MY VISION!!!! i will be forever mad that we didnt get this.

also why is murch out of all the chracters have a pallete??? why didnt they put in captain 3 or something????? sheldon i kinda understand since hes also kinda a part of the squidbeak splatoon BUT MURCH??? get the fuck out!!!

negative stuff aside tho. i love pearl and marina so much. THIS IS THE PEARLINA GAME GUYS!!!!! pearl literally mentions that marina and her sleep in the SAME BED???? marina is so autistic. my little autism creature. SHE MAKES DINO ARMS IN THE ENDING SCENE AUGHHHHHGHHH MY HEARTTT i love marina so much AND PEARL. SUCH A SILLY GOOBER. acht is so precious too... BUT I CNAT BELIEVE THAT THEY MADE THEM WHITE*??? ACHT IS NOT WHITE NINTENDO. anyways i love eight and her little found family full of lesbians. they are all lesbians your honor. we are raising lesbians in this house.

so yeah. i hope i can finish the run atleast ONCE. but like. idk i havent finished the game but side order jsut makes me feel. sad... and lonely...?? unlike octo expension where you could see more and more people using the metros and the chatrooms between marina and pearl are just AUUGGHHH OE IS A GAME. ABOUT CONNECTIONS OK. it makes me feel warm and happy and even though eight became traumatized i like to think that she healed and in the process met so many important people in her life.

in side order i dont see anything in eight*??? is she traumatized??? is she vibing??? is she happy to help??? I LITERALLY CANT TELL. side order makes me feel so cold and empty like do you guys understand what i mean. and its probably becasue it doesnt even take place in the real world. and the thing is. i understand that side order is supposed to be everything that OE couldnt be. i understand that. both games have their own quirks BUT. i just cant seem to make myself love it unlike any other story mode in splatoon...... im really trying to be not biased here but yeah. these are my opinions for side order

AFTER GAME THOUGHTS

HELLO. so yes i somehow managed to win the game. and honestly. the final boss was pretty fun and everyone was so cute at the end omg... but i still think that side order is a bit underdevloped.... i dont even know if ill try to %100 is cuz playing it makes me SO STRESSFUL im glad i get to finish a run BUT i will definetly not be touching side order atleast for a while.... but despite i had plenty of stuff i didnt like in side order the ending managed to make me forget all that haha

please break it off before the wedding. if you leave him at the alter, cove would be thoroughly destroyed and your immediate family would prbly end up disowning you and/or going very low contact.

breaking off the engagement was and is a really hard thing, but you do it anyway to be with baxter

i wanna touch on how your family n friends reacts to the break up first...

well lets just leave it at cove's parents don't talk to you anymore and you are not welcome even near their house

in fact cliff even moves out of sunset bird because he's so distraught and if cove comes to visit, which he does and even moves in with his dad, he sees how sad cove is and it kills him

he regrets ever moving to sunset bird and asking you to be his friend.

cliff never forgives himself for this, even though it isn't his fault, he feels like it is and even if (and when) cove gets over this betrayal, cliff hates that this happened anyway.

cliff doesn't send you any text, he just blocks you

but if you send a text before he can do so, which is possible since he's busy comforting his son

then he responds like this..

"please don't text this number anymore. and leave my son alone. you've really betrayed him.. me too. i thought you were a good person y/n. i hope you're happy with him"

kyra leaves you a very scornful message and then blocks you

she refuses to waste her breathe or time on someone who hurt her baby

she starts by saying how much she loved you and everything you did for cove, but ends it with how she can never forgive you for leaving cove like this

"don't bother apologizing. everyone had their faith in you to love and take care of cove but you've really blindsided him. you're no longer family to us, leave us alone."

your family is very disappointed

even though they don't cut you off, you're distant and if you marry baxter, they don't come celebrate with you

your mom is surprisingly very tender about it and she is the one who misses you the most

she cries over your pictures when you were growing up, and when everything was perfect

she knows you're an adult and things happen, this is the way the cookie crumbles sometimes but the holden's were like family too and everything is just hard

she can't even look at cove when she sees him

once she even broke down crying in front of him, she could see the dark circles under his eyes and yet he still smiled at her and gave his best "hello"

cove ends up comforting her in the middle of the grocery store parking lot...

she doesn't leave the house for awhile. she's so ashamed and embarrassed because she can hear the whispers of the townsfolk

"i wish they were kids again..."

your ma calls to yell at you.

ma doesn't ever get mad, if anything mom was the "bad cop" growing up and did most the iron fisting

but your ma can't believe you'd do this. she understands that sometimes you fall out of love with someone or have deeper feelings for someone else but.. you knew cove for 15 years and you leave for someone like baxter, who hurt you?

shes just blinded with rage and sadness, even thought she's yelling she ends up crying

she tells you not to come around for awhile, she can't bare to look at you and look at cliff (and cove) the next day

"please don't bother coming home, you're not welcome here for the foreseeable future. i thought we raised you better than this."

your sister doesn't know what to do

she never expected this from you

she hugs you while you cry, you're still her sibling but she also can't forgive you so easily

she and cove weren't close, but definitely closer than baxter and she saw how much he loved you. and she sees how much he's hurting, as he's slowly gathering all his stuff out of your shared house.

she helps him pack his stuff and gives him a hug, lets him cry and tells cove that he's always been like family, and will always be

she watches him cry in his car before finally driving off and suddenly liz is so mad

all this upset and upheaval for what? a traumatized, flirty victorian-emo man who stayed for a summer and told you to fuck off and then came back 5 years later?

she doesn't yell, but between the quiet and half empty house, liz scolds you and flies back home the same night...

"i love you but i can't believe you threw this all away for someone you knew for ONE summer 5 years ago... i'm so disappointed in you."

lee is the one who comforts you the most when you cry

but you can see the disappointment in her eyes

she calls you a lot less, and she doesn't scream in excitement at you anymore. especially if you're with him.

one night, she even whispers into the dark room, having thrown a blanket over you and thinking you are asleep.

"i thought you were better than this..."

your friends are so surprised

they never saw this coming at all

miranda is the one with the greatest fury

she leaves several voice messages where she is yelling and cussing you out...

"lose my number! i can't believe you'd leave cove for your wedding planner! someone who hurt you 5 fucking years ago!" "you need to get a grip on reality if you think you're gonna live happily ever after. screw you, you-"

terry is with miranda at the time so she cut off the last message before she could share her new nicknames for you

terry's disappointment is immeasurable.

he tries texting you and asking whats going on before he asks you to meet him for coffee

thats the last time you see him before he sends you on last text...

"i hope you're happy y/n... i really cherished our friendship but i can't trust someone who did this to their partner and one of my best buddies... goodbye."

derek is ready to fly over to cove immediately, and he does.

derek helps cliff get cove settled and calmed down, he even makes dinner while cliff helps cove at least get a grip on reality again...

"i'm so surprised you did this y/n... i thought i knew you better but i guess not... listen, i gotta finish dinner, cove hasn't eaten in a couple days. i'm sorry but cove is my best friend, i hope you're happier now.. goodbye."

cove is ruined, to say the least.

somehow he expected it though..

you were dating cove when baxter came that summer, but he saw how you looked at him... it was with a sense of longing. he supposes it was only a matter of time before you decided you wanted a taste of baxter ward, he just hoped it would never come...

you dated baxter that summer, and he saw how distraught you were when he left you so brutually.. cove thought you really loved him, that you finally got over baxter. but apparently he was wrong, you were just patching your wounds until baxter could put you back together...

you never dated baxter, but cove saw how you looked at him with longing and cove always wished you would look at him like that. i guess you just turned your eyes to him until you could finally have the one you wanted...

cove loved you so much, and now that you've broken up he feels like he'll never recover

cove's personality does a whole 180

if he was "warm", he's not anymore. he can't bring himself to smile and laugh and socialize when his chest feels so hollow yet like he's been stabbed with pins and needles...

if he was already "cold", i need you to imagine him being even colder...

he still says his "please and thank you"'s whenever its necessary, but anything other than a hum when affirming to the cashier that he found his groceries okay

or telling the fast food worker what he wants to eat, which he usually orders online in that case, then he doesn't really talk too much

everyone can see how distraught he is even though he tries to distract himself

he cooks meals from scratch, he even learns how to make bread just to keep his mind away from it all

he tries to surf or look for shells but it just ends up hurting more because he as so many memories of those things with you

his whole childhood was with you... you gave him a childhood and you're the reason he enjoyed life so much, you made him so happy...

cove really tries to keep his head above water but even with the love and care from his parents, he's drowning...

its like when he was a little kid all over again but this time he's the one going through the break up

sometimes he snaps at his dad to please leave him alone and he runs off to the guest room crying.

he's so overwhelmed, overstimulated in every way and hurt.

he feels like he'll never recover from this one

when he does "get better", its still a total change from who he used to be

he definitely keeps his friend circle tight and dating isnt even on the table, and wont be for a long time.
