A ctivities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?

Hector loves to spar with his partners whenever he can. He doesn’t hold back, and he loves to see his partners getting excited when they win.

Eliwood enjoys a quiet night when possible, staying in the room. Perhaps they’re sharing a drink, perhaps Eliwood is reading out loud as Lyn listens and Hector falls asleep to his voice.

Lyn enjoys going on hikes. Lycia might not be Sacae, but there are still plenty of sights for them to see. Lyn can see them by herself, but it means more when she can see them with one or both of her boyfriends.

B eauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?

Eliwood can get lost in both Hector’s and Lyn’s eyes. It’s not uncommon to find him staring at his partners, zoned out, because he looks at the colors of their eyes.

Hector admires his partner’s strengths. He’s used to being the strong one, and while he is the strongest of the three, he loves that Eliwood and Lyn can hold their own in a fight, that he doesn’t have to keep an eye out for them.

Lyn admires Eliwood’s ability to talk down the fight. He tries to avoid battles when he can, and Lyn loves to see that. For Hector, she loves the way he gets her to push herself, training to get stronger and stronger.

C omfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?

Eliwood will try to talk down his partner when they’re upset. Even if they can’t speak, he will sit there and talk to them, trying to distract them until they’re able and ready to talk.

Hector doesn’t completely understand or know what to do, but he will sit and hold his partner if they will let him.

Lyn sits with her boyfriend and listens if they want to talk. If they don’t want to talk about it, she will talk to them about something else to get their mind elsewhere.

D reams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

All three understand with their positions that they won’t be able to see each other as often as they wish, but they will try to spend all the time they can with each other. Whether they’re in Pharae or in Ostia, they will cherish all time together.

E qual - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

Hector and Lyn are the more dominant of the three. This leads them to butting heads a lot, but it’s always in good fun. Eliwood is more passive and go with the flow.

F ight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

Lyn and Hector are very stubborn, and they are the most likely to get in a fight / arguments. They will walk away to cool down before turning to each other. Normally, they make up by having a sparring match, blowing off steam, as neither are good with words.

Eliwood is more likely to try to speak with his partners after an argument. He allows Lyn and Hector to calm down before getting them to speak to him.

G ratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

Eliwood is very aware and grateful for what his partners do for him. Whether it’s something small or large, he tries to make note of it.

Hector doesn’t show it often, but he is grateful. He might not notice everything, but he will always try to return the favor when he can.

Lyn always makes note of the big things her boyfriends do for her. She might not notice every small thing, but she is very thankful for them anyway.

H onesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

Eliwood and Lyn are very open, and they talk to their partners about everything. There is very little they or Hector don’t know about them.

Hector, given how he was raised in Ostia, tends to keep secrets. Nothing major as he’ll tell them the big things that happen in his day to day, but smaller things like what he talked about with a knight he won’t say. He doesn’t even think about it when he does; it’s just a habit.

I nspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

Eliwood and Hector grew up together. They were close as children, and they remained close as teens and into adulthood. They influenced each other in more ways than one. Then Lyn found her way in their life, and she opened them up.

Lyn was changed by Hector and Eliwood. They’re the reason she decided to stay in Lycia; they’re the reason she is no longer lonely anymore. They help her get used to the new life she’s living, and she helps Hector and Eliwood see from different points of views.

J ealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?

Hector and Lyn don’t get jealous easily. They trust each other and Eliwood to make the right choices. Lyn might look or check out who they’re talking to if they’re a stranger to her, but Hector doesn’t pay much mind to it.

Eliwood gets jealous easier. He doesn’t mean it, but when he sees someone get too close to Hector or Lyn, he definitely sends a glare their way whether he realizes it or not. He’s vocal about his jealousy in private and gets reassured that they wouldn’t do anything outside the relationship.

K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

Eliwood is a soft kisser. His first kiss was with Hector, it was very hesitant, but it was so light that Hector almost immediately pulled him back into another kiss.

Hector is a more rough and passionate kisser. It took Lyn off guard the first time when they kissed. He couldn’t help but laugh at her expression when they pulled back.

Lyn prefers quick pecks more than anything; she doesn’t mind longer kisses, but they’re not her favorite. Her first kiss with Eliwood was very quick, and they were both fine with that.

L ove Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

M arriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?

Marriage isn’t the first thing on their mind in their relationship. They didn’t know if a three way marriage would work or be able to be done, especially with their noble statuses. They never officially get married, but everyone around them knows they treat and call each other their husband(s) and wife.

N icknames - What do they call their s/o?

Eliwood tends to call Lyn ‘sweetheart’ and Hector ‘love’ the most

Hector calls both Eliwood and Lyn ‘dear’ or ‘hun’ the most. He doesn’t have a favorite to use for either of them

Lyn isn’t the biggest on giving out nicknames, but she has called her boyfriends ‘dear’ or ‘love’ before.

O n Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

Eliwood likes to stare at his partners when there’s nothing too important in front of him at the moment. His mother enjoys teasing him for this.

Hector is very touchy and wears his romantic feeling on his sleeve. Anyone could glance at them together and know that he was in love.

Lyn smiles a lot when she’s around Eliwood and/or Hector. If she’s standing next to them, there’s a big chance that there’s a smile on her face.

P DA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?

Hector is the most open about their relationship. He loves to hold Eliwood’s and/or Lyn’s hand in public, not caring about what other nobles think. He can often be seen kissing their cheeks or even steal a kiss on the lips from them. Hector also loves to boast about his partners whenever he can.

Eliwood isn’t very big on PDA. He doesn’t mind holding hands or being close to his partners, but he is very reserved when it comes to talking about his relationship or kissing in public.

Lyn gets very flustered with PDA. Whether it’s just from holding hands or a kiss on the cheek, her face will turn bright red. At the same time, she loves to talk about her boyfriends whenever she can.

Q uirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.

Eliwood has a soft voice that his partners find soothing. Both Hector and Lyn just like to hear Eliwood talk.

Hector has the ability to keep a tune when humming or whistling. Even when the three don’t want to talk, he’s able to fill the silence.

Lyn knows a few different languages from living in Sacae, and from that, she also knows songs and tales from the different cultures. Eliwood and Hector will ask her to sing or translate the tales when they need something to distract them.

R omance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

Eliwood is very cliché when it comes to romance. He loves to fluster his partners with words or flowers or other gifts, but he will always do this in private.

Hector is very romantic in his words. He loves to praise and talk about his lovers around others, and he has been shown giving them things that made him think about them. He’s known by court to be very romantic.

Lyn isn’t the greatest with romance. Her lovers enjoy her being in the same room as them so that's what she does whenever she can. She’s not a big gift giver, but she does show her emotions with words.

S upport - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?

The three of them share a main common goal. They work together to keep Lycia on its feet while trying to get the territories to work closer together for peace. Hector focuses a lot on Ostia, and Eliwood focuses on Pherae. Lyn supports them both in any way she can.

T hrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?

Eliwood likes a good routine. He doesn’t like it changing when he can help it.

Hector and Lyn like to change their routines. Whether it’s small or large, neither of them like things to stay the same everyday.

U nderstanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?

The three of them are all very good at reading each other and being able to tell their true feelings towards something. This is one reason why Hector struggles to not tell them important things going on in his life or with Ostia.

V alue - How important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?

Ostia and Pharae are important to Hector and Eliwood, and they build a lot of their life around it. At the same time, they always make time for each other and Lyn.

Lyn sees the relationship as the most important thing in her life. Yes, travel and her homeland are very important, as well as her friends, but this relationship forged how her life is currently going.

W ild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.

Eliwood can’t do anything in the kitchen, no matter how much he tries, but he knows how to make a mean cup of tea. Hector and Lyn will refuse anyone else’s tea when Eliwood is around

Hector likes to randomly pick up his partners to see them smile. He can pick them both up at once.

Lyn likes to wear Eliwood’s and Hector’s clothes. They’re long on her, and her boyfriends love to see her in them.

X OXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?

Hector is very affectionate. He loves to hold onto his partners, whether they’re laying down and they’re spooning or they’re sitting in his lap. He can and will shower them with kisses.

Eliwood isn’t as affectionate as Hector, but if he’s able to, he clings onto his partners. He likes to hug them from behind before kissing them on the cheek.

Lyn isn’t as affectionate. She isn’t great at showing her emotions with actions, but she doesn’t mind being shown in love. She shows her affection in other ways.

Y earning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

Eliwood can be seen staring off into space without Hector and Lyn around. His mother would tease him, and his knights know that he’s thinking about his partners.

When Hector is missing his lovers, he is often seen training more often. He uses it to distract himself from missing the two.

Lyn likes to wear Eliwood’s and Hector’s clothes when she misses them. She spends her time between Pherea and Ostia, and they always make sure to have one or two articles of clothes that Lyn finds comfort with in the territory.

Z eal - Are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?

Eliwood knows he wasn’t the greatest partner for a while as he was dealing with his grief of losing his father and becoming marquess of Pharea. However, even through his grief, he would defeat his relationship with the other two nobles, despite getting some backlash due to the nature of their relationship.

Before Uther passed, he gave Hector his blessing to follow his heart in any way it leads him. Knowing this, Hector has no issue defeating and fighting for his relationship. Nothing and no one will pull him away from his loves.

Lyn had the choice to return to Sacae, but she decided to remain in Lycia as Caelin became shared land between the two. She misses her life in the plains, but she wouldn’t leave their sides if given the choice again.

pairing: hector x gn!reader

summary: hector always knows when you feel anxious and helps you get some alone time...

hector can be a bit oblivious at times and he didn't notice right away how anxious you tended to be

to him, it seemed more like you were shy and he attempted to help you gain confidence by dragging you along to hang out with the rest of the army

but that ended up backfiring, as you got too overwhelmed in a huge crowd…

you ended up explaining to hector that big groups of people make you anxious and that you easily get overwhelmed around too many people

as soon as he got that, he promised to help you out in those types of situations from now on!

and he really did, as the next time everyone was gathered in a big group, he kept his eyes on you, making sure you weren't feeling uncomfortable

as soon as he did notice you seemed a bit uneasy, he made up an excuse for the two of you and took you on a quiet walk, allowing you to relax a little and recharge your energy

at all events after that, hector always made sure to create an opportunity for you to get some time by yourself

and since he was the (soon-to-be) marquess of ostia, nobody dared to complain when the two of you vanished together…

Luck of the Draw, a Fire Emblem 7 ‘fic

Words: 4,949 words Summary: They all ended up dying anyway. Pairing/Character: Mark, Fargus, Oswin, Hector, Lyn, Kent, Fiora, Farina, Dorcas, Raven, Wil, mention of others. Extra Info: This was originally written and posted sometime around 5/11/2012. This fic is told in reverse chronological order! Rating: T Genre: Gen, character study-ish, bit of friendship.

This was one of my least popular Fire Emblem 7 fics, garnering very little attention when it was posted and confusing all four people who were brave enough to read through to the end of the story. This was my own fault; I failed to mention at any point that it was a story told in reverse chronological order. 🙄

Huge shout-out to Sentury from the old days though, who was pretty much the only person who seemed to genuinely like the concept of the story. Re-reading their old review motivated me to do this rewrite the most.

I will always use the default name of Mark for the FE7 tactician. I'm very attached to it.

I'm certain this story was born in part thanks to a rewatch I did of The Irresponsible Captain Tylor that year + the memory of the 'fic Famed Genius (which, if you haven't read as an FE7 fan, I would highly recommend).

2011 and 2012 were weird FE7 years wherein a good number of people tried to make sense of the tactician's role in the story. Famed Genius is the one I remember best for using the concept of control over time to marry the fourth wall to the other three. How else could there be no casualties? There was something truly genius about explaining the player's constant resetting to prevent any permanent death with the actual story/character of the tactician.

Luck is what this 'fic tries to explore, or at least the concept of luck as being more than just coincidence.

I wanted to start this story off with the end already solidified: everyone has died but Mark and he wonders what good his luck or careful planning did anyone when they all ended up dying anyway. Sure, they had longer lives this way, but to survive a fight with a dragon only to learn later that many of his old companions died of mundane bullshit feels pretty bad.

I really trimmed back the Fargus scene from the original because not only was the original dogshit, but it didn't really...go anywhere? This took a long time to rewrite because most of it ended up having to be scrapped.

I like the idea that Fargus believes in luck but not in good or bad luck. He feels luck is a component that factors in but cannot be blamed or held in high esteem. It is what it is.

The Davros was Fargus's ship in-game.

Mark studying strategy in Etruria is just something I made up for this story. I wanted Mark to really feel like he belonged in the world and wasn't just a player insert character.

Farina's dominant hand being her left: this is just an old headcanon. This scene is meant to imply that the loss of her fingers and therefore her ability to fight might have led in some not-insignificant way to her eventual death.

Since this story goes in reverse chronological order I wanted to cover things from the FE6 canon (loosely), including Hector's imprisonment. While the tactician's ending in FE7 suggests they are never seen or heard from again after the end of the story, I want to reiterate that I like viewing FE endings as "what the history books say (that may not necessarily be the actual truth)."

In this instance, Hector recruits Mark to lead his forces and they lose. Mark (along with Oswin and other higher-ranking survivors) end up being imprisoned here. This is the battle that ultimately claims Hector's life in FE6 (for those who do not know), so we can assume Oswin does eventually die here as well.

Regarding the deaths of the characters: I didn't want to go over every single person's death just because it felt like it would bog down the story too much; you have to kind of assume that Mark has heard of many deaths not discussed or mentioned in this story.

Serra was married to Oswin and would be the mother of Bors and Wendy (or Gwendolyn, I guess is her localized name now?) in this story. (Don't @ me, tying FE7 to FE6 in the dumbest ways was a tried-and-true tradition of ye olde FE days.)

That everyone lifts up Mark as this big-brained tactician should make sense from the characters' points of view. Like, it all seems so calculated to them! But to Mark, they were all just lucky/fortunate guesses. He couldn't have known the pillar would break or what side of it to have Rebecca stand on. He couldn't have known Kent wouldn't die in leading that charge against Lord Darin.

Speaking of Darin, I always let Kent lead the charge in that chapter because he asks for it. Here's the actual dialogue in-game for Chapter 19 Dragon's Gate:

“Mark, let me take the point. I will break through, even though it may cost my life. If something happens to me, Mark... Lady Lyndis... Please watch over her.”

While FE7 has a lot of "leader" characters (Hector, Eliwood, Lyn, Oswin, Marcus, Vaida, Kent) I don't think any of them can come close to understanding the burden placed on Mark to direct them better than Fiora does.

While all of these characters have been in charge of others and have had to make calls that may have lost people their lives, Fiora is the only one who understands what absolute defeat feels like. The original story did not give her a scene so I added one.

I liked the idea of her seeking a purpose in being a survivor (maybe as kind of a parallel/foil to Lyn).

I wanted to add like 10 more scenes to this story for a bunch of the other characters, but I couldn't find a place to put anything where it wouldn't feel clumsy.

Going from a scene talking about Fiora's experience on Valor all the way back to before the group reached Caelin in the prologue felt like a huge jump but I don't know that an extra scene or two in there would have helped. I'd be interested in people's thoughts on it, though.

Can you write some yandere Claude, Sylvain (FE3H) & Hector (The Blazing Blade) headcanons please? Like, what kind of yandere they are, how’d they woo their S/O and all that general stuff. If it’s okay with you of course 🥺

Yup! Totally fine with me! Sylvain is high key one of my 3H favs so that’s pretty hype. Though ngl I haven’t seen all of the GD route so Claude is gonna be just based on what I have seen so far of his personality.

Claude

- It takes a couple times speaking to you before Claude decides to romance you. He can be a bit distrustful so you’d have to be really worth his time if he tries to pursue you. He might be playful, but until the dead look in his eyes goes away, it isn’t real for him.

-He likes to take his time in his courtship. He starts with really getting to know you and he tailors his next moves accordingly. If you like a certain kind of food then he learns how to make it. If you enjoy a specific opera then he will get tickets for the two of you to go together. Only when he is sure he understands you the best he can as you friend will he try to make it something more.

-He isn’t flashy when he asks to date you. Short and simple “I like you and I want to be more.” After all, he has already put in the work, and he is sure he knows you’ll say yes.

- To everyone else, your relationship with him is quite normal. He is quite loving in public, and of course happy to tease you. You want for nothing, in love or earthly things. You are truly living the fairy tale with your prince.

-However, once you are a lone things change. The fake smiles and laughs are gone. His eyes change from the bored look he shares with the rest of the world to something you could never have imagined when you agreed to date him.

-Claude is controlling. He might not make you change the things you like or who you are allowed to speak to, but you can’t just be the person you were before. You are his, and his alone. He is at your side and there is few times that you are ever alone. He knows what’s best for you and is just trying to keep you safe after all.

-He likes to lay out hints that you can’t leave. Letters from your parents, holding personal trinkets hostage, indirectly threatening your friends, keeping poisonous plants in the garden to remind you of what poisons could be in your food if you don’t keep up your facade are all things he does to toy with you. He is two steps ahead of you at any moment and he wants you to know that.

-Of course, he thinks it is a bit of a game for him to see you struggle. He does love you so he will leave openings and chances to try and escape all of which fail. He knows you too well.

Sylvain

-The moment he saw you he knew you were different, and he knew he had to have you.

-To those he was close to, the change was extremely easy to see. The man who could flirt with several girls a day only seemed interested in spending time with you. Anyone else would have just thought you were his next major conquest, but even though he used some of his more fantastic lines, there was a lot of sincerity in his eyes and voice.

-He tries his best to show that he really does love you. He likes to take you out to all the nicest restaurants and the nicest scenery. If you have some favorite books or music or art then he will study up as best he can so he can talk with you about it. He genuinely wants to have a connection with you that justifies just how he already feels about you.

-Say the word and Sylvain would do anything for you as long as it isn’t getting in the way of him loving and spoiling you. Understand in return for his devotion, he doesn’t take no for an answer. If he asks you to join him for tea, then its time for tea. If he asks for you to join him for dinner, you’ll be there. Even if he has to pick you up princess style and take you there himself, you will be at his side when he needs you. If you tell him no too much he will get upset and his flirty expression will disappear leaving a scowl and a sharp gaze in its place.

- He wouldn’t physically hurt you though, never you. It isn’t your fault that the people around you have corrupted your mind. That is why he doesn't like having other guys speak to you. Once he is the only man in your life and if you are still disobeying him, then he will start culling the women you can contact as well.

-He only deems it necessary to kill when people who have been banned from your presence try to return or take you from him.

Hector

-Hector isn’t exactly the most romantic man in the world so the best he can really do is just spend time with you. Fancy words and gifts aren’t his style so when he finally confesses he is very blunt in his love for you. He is quite full of love, and when he finds a way to express himself, it shows.

-He thinks he isn’t very jealous of others at least when it comes to quick conversations especially between you and his closest friends. However, he also is around you all the time, and he makes it very clear you two are together. Strangers and your old friends, however, he doesn’t want you to spend much time around.

-As a yandere, he is the typical overprotective type. Whether you are physically hurt or emotionally hurt, he will make sure that whoever or whatever hurt you never will do so again to a ridiculous degree.

-For example, if you get a paper cut, you will never see a piece of paper or book again. If you stub your toe on a table, he will destroy the “culprit.” No offense is too small for him to look past. Of course, if any specific person is the reason why you are hurt, he will put them down in order to keep you safe. He must do whatever it takes to keep the one he cares about safe even if it kills him.

Lilina: “Hey dad. It’s Melady. She’s trying to recruit the Dieck mercenaries to help guard Princess Guinivere.”

Roy: “They’ve been going at it all day.”

Hector: “Wait, that guy’s name is Dick?”

Roy: “No, Dieck.”

Hector: “I’m gonna keep calling him Dick.”

Eliwood: “Is there some reason they’re having trouble?”

Roy: “Well, Melady’s really concerned about Guinivere’s safety, but being mercenaries, they’re not working cheap. And being pulled from their homeland, they don’t exactly have the funding to pay up…”

Eliwood: “I see. That is a significant challenge for anyone here in Askr.”

Hector: “We’ll handle it!”

Lilina: “Dad?”

Hector: “You’ve got two marquesses...Marqui...lords right here! We’ll have this sorted out in no time!”

Lilina: “Oh no.”

Eliwood: “That’s fine, but Hector, let me do the talking.”

Hector: “Deal.”

Lilina: “Oh thank the gods…”

Melady: “Surely you must understand our current circumstances. You can be compensated when we return to our world.”

Dieck: “We don’t accept retroactive payment. We’re not a charity.”

Eliwood: “Is all well, Melady?”

Melady: “Ah, lord Eliwood, lord Hector.”

Hector: “What’s the problem?”

Melady: “I am trying to recruit this man’s services in protecting the princess, but I regret to say, we are short on coin to meet his demands.”

Dieck: “Listen little lady, if you want the Dieck, you gotta pay for the Dieck.”

Hector: *snorts*

Guinivere: “Please, Melady, it’s no trouble. I’ve already told you, I would rather you fight for my ideals rather than just my life. We should focus on defending Askr before ourselves.”

Melady: “I’m sorry, my lady, but I cannot agree to this. I understand, and will defend your ideals, yet I cannot bear to have anything happen to you. If not only for your sake, please, for my own peace of mind.”

Guinivere: “Melady…”

Eliwood: “I understand your resolve. Dieck, is there any way we can work out some kind of agreement regarding payment? Perhaps incremental payments, or collateral?”

Dieck: “Sorry pal, the Dieck mercenaries aren’t so easy to sweet talk.”

Hector, chuckling: “Oh my god…”

Guinivere: “Perhaps we should give up here. There must be others you could speak with.”

Melady: “I cannot, Lady Guinivere. No matter how hard it may be, there must be a way to get Dieck to rise to the occasion.”

Hector: “Have you tried working the shaft?”

All: “...”

Eliwood, rubbing his temples: “...Hector.”

Eliwood: “Hector please.”

Guinivere: “What does that mean?”

Hector: “Hmm?”

Melady: [MENACING]

Hector: “Well, you know I’m kind of an unusual lord. Rough and tumble, not very lord-like? I spent a lot of time in the arena, and around other mercenaries, so I just picked up some of their crass language. It really just means to negotiate a deal, but it’s no something a young princess should be-”

Guinivere: “I understand! Try to meet them at their level, use their own language and concepts! A brilliant idea, Lord Hector!”

Hector: “Well, I wouldn’t really-”

Guinivere: “Sir Dieck, if you would, please allow me to-”

Dieck: “I will do literally anything to prevent you from finishing that sentence.”

Guinivere: “Wonderful! Melady, we did it!”

Hector: “Haha! Another successful deal brokered by Marquess Ostia!”

Roy: “I guess...technically he did make the deal for them. And at a discount.”

Melady: “I am going to murder him.”

Lilina, exasperated: “You would be within your rights.”

*Later*

Guinivere: “You must be the famed Gerik Mercenaries.”

Gerik: “The very same. You looking to hire?”

Guinivere: “Yes! I would like to sit down with you and ‘work the shaft,’ as they say.”

Ephraim: *spit take*

Lyon, blushing: “Oh my…”

Eirika, storming away: “Nope! Nope, that’s it! That’s the line! Send me back to Magvel, I’m out!”

Ike

Ike loves Mist with all his heart, she’s his precious sister that he wants to protect. It’s no surprise when he acts the same around Kiran.

It’s almost like Kiran’s apart of the Greil Mercenaries, and apart of Ike’s small, but wonderful family.

Ike makes sure Kiran is always safe in battle, barely letting the Summoner get even close to the battlefield. All Kiran needs to do is trust in Ike and he’ll get things done.

After major battles or events, Ike goes to check up on Kiran. “Are you alright, you’re not hurt are you?” “If you need help, please tell me.”

Ike never expected to grow too close with the people that summoned him, but he definitely didn’t expect to add a new member to his family. Regardless of the change of events, he’s more than grateful to have a little brother at his side.

Xander

Xander has many siblings, a rather large family he would say, and everyone of them precious to him. He grows strong to protect his country and to protect his siblings. No danger would ever come to them.

The Summoner just reminds him of his brother’s and sister’s so much that he can’t help but act like a protecting big brother to Kiran.

He can be tough on him at times, but he only does so because he knows Kiran holds so much potential. A Summoner needs their rest so they can train and strategize for the Order, and a Summoner also needs to hold a certain etiquette as well, so he’s always sure to remind Kiran of that.

However, he can be silly from time to time and lose that strict attitude with Kiran. If Kiran finds it funny to put a bunch of accessories on Xander, well then he’ll bare such embarrassment for Kiran’s smile.

Hector

Hector knows that Kiran has a tough job, especially for someone so young, and Hector can kinda relate to that. He takes on the role of a big brother that borderlines almost acting like a father for Kiran.

He wants to train with Kiran, show him all of his tricks and tips for battle, but he knows that Kiran’s still really young and sometimes Hector needs to calm down with all the sparing…

He can be over doting at times too. He knows that Kiran can probably handle himself just fine, yet…he gets a little too upset and rowdy if any of the other Heroes give Kiran a bad time. Kiran just doesn’t deserve any hate.

He wants to be a good role model for Kiran. Be that big brother you look up to. He’s gonna give his 110% every time he goes out to battle. He ain’t losing any fights!

Hello, Ca i request Headcanon of An Eliwood that is a dragon being summoned by the summoner (Gender Neutral). He is still the marques of pharae and wield durandal but now he can become a dragon, a fire dragon, first meeting reaction with normal Eliwood, Hector, Ninian, Lyn and Roy.

Eliwood

The idea of multiple versions of a hero is a new idea but also one that everyone in the Order grows used to

Eliwood finds this other version of him being afraid of Durandal very concerning

The two don’t really interact, dragon!Eliwood choosing to not be near more legendary dragon slaying weapons

Rumors soon start about a fire dragon and it isn’t until the two are on a team together that Eliwood freaks out

Hector

Hector immediately goes to hug the new Eliwood, surely they’ll be best friends regardless of universe

This new Eliwood asking him to train is a shocking but nice development

It becomes even more shocking when Eliwood transforms into a dragon, Hector freaking out

Eliwood quickly transforms back and embarrassingly explains the situation

Hector likes the new development and makes it a point to train with this Eliwood

He does make it a point to keep Armads away from Eliwood

Ninian

When she first meets dragon!Eliwood, Ninian instantly knows that this Eliwood is a fire dragon

She questions his ancestry before realizing he has no idea of it

Eliwood happily asks Ninian about the world beyond the dragon’s gate and she happily responds in kind

Ninian teaches Eliwood traditional dragon dances

Lyn

She notes that something is off about this Eliwood within a couple days

Elibe’s dragons being identical to humans leads her to not suspect anything of a dragon nature

Following him, Lyn sees him transform in the woods by himself

She decides not to confront him, knowing that he’ll tell her when he feels comfortable

Roy

Regardless of if its his father from his universe, Roy loves them all

Eliwood keeps his dragon form hidden, sensing no dragon blood in this world’s Roy

Roy only finds out when he sees a fire-dragon stone in his father’s room

Piecing the item and his father’s reclusive nature, Roy confronts his father

Eliwood admits to it right away

With this version of his father being healthy, Eliwood gives Roy piggy-back ride in is dragon form often

EliHecLyn HCs - Getting Together

At the start of Blazing Blade, Eliwood and Hector were already together. They never told anyone they were together, but they were terrible at hiding it so everyone could tell.

Before Lyn joined, Hector was a little jealous to hear Eliwood call her beautiful, but he never would openily express this. Eliwood never mention it again but then Lyn joined.

Eliwood was right, and Hector agreed she was beautiful. He started butting heads with her a lot with their clashing personalities, but also as time went on, Hector continued it cause he was struggling processing his feelings towards Sacaen woman.

Lyn is unsure of Hector at first, especially when she losing a sparing match with him. He was strong and reliable, but very stubborn when he had his mind on something. She likes Eliwood, and they get along better. She doesn’t understand what Eliwood sees in Hector.

Then during a battle, Lyn and Hector started to fight close together, and both of them started to see each other’s personalities in their battle styles. It brought them closer together as Hector started to loosen up around Lyn, and Lyn did the same.

Eliwood was the first to catch feelings for Lyn, but his relationship with Hector was too important to him act on then. Lyn started catching feelings for Eliwood and Hector next, and she also decided not to act on these feelings. It was Hector who decided to take a stab in the dark and act on them.

One night, the three of them were the last ones awake besides who was on guard watch. They all sat around the fire, talking about the past battles and battles to come. It was peaceful, a rare peaceful moment. Hector sat between Eliwood and Lyn.

It was getting very late, and while Lyn was trying to stay up with the other two lords, her eyes were starting to get heavy. Hector noticed this and offered his shoulder for her to lean on. The way he said it, along with the blush on his face, caused Lyn and Eliwood to Hector’s feelings as he’s the hardest of the three to read.

Lyn would look at Eliwood to make sure it was okay, and when he nodded, she rested her head against Hector’s shoulder and closed her eyes. Hector placed a hand behind her to keep her from falling over. After another hour after Lyn fell asleep, Hector carried her to bed before rejoining Eliwood outside, where they would discuss what just happened with Lyn.

In the morning, the three of them took a moment to talk in private about the previous night. That’s when Eliwood and Hector confirm their relationship to the other and questions if Lyn would be interested in joining their relationship. They were very excited when Lyn agreed,,, Everyone knew of their relationship almost immediately. None of them were good at hiding.

Ending

The Three Lords

When her grandfather died, Lyn decided against taking of the tilte of Marquess of Caelin. Her lovers, Eliwood, Marquess of Pherea, and Hector, Marquess of Otsia, promised to keep an eye on the land as she focusing on raising their two children.

Could you possibly do a team rating? I currently have 2 teams: first is Hector, Veronica, Lilina, and Halloween Niles, second is Marth, Ishtar, Elise and Brave Ephraim

With Niles, Hector, and Lilina on the team, Veronica is definitely in for a lot of adventures

And lots of inappropriate jokes

Hector tries to keep Niles away from his daughter because he doesn’t want him to corrupt her

But Niles wouldn’t dare corrupt her mind! He’s a good guy!

He only encourages her to trick and scare her dad at every possible opportunity

And gives her candy when she does

He watches from the shadows as Lilina offers Hector a cake that she baked

He takes it, tearing up because he loves his daughter so much, and she shoves it in his face while Niles is dying of laughter in the background

Niles doesn’t just cause trouble, though, in fact he’s super nice to the kids

He basically takes Veronica under his wing because he notices how lonely she is

She sort of reminds him of himself when he was younger

He trains her on how to survive in the harshest of environments

She doesn’t really need the training but Niles is fun to hang around

She tries to make him as proud as possible

And that usually means pickpocketing Hector

He doesn’t even notice askdlgh

Lilina, Niles, and Veronica probably work together to prank Hector because he’s such a big dork and it’s funny to see him confused

Hector: Ok who stole Armads?

Niles: not me

Veronica: not me

Lilina, hiding something vaguely axe-shaped behind her back: NOT ME

Second team has slightly less chaotic energy

Marth and Ishtar are the very caring leaders of this team

Like you’ve got the first team over there pranking each other and this team is just chilling drinking tea, discussing strategies

Ephraim and Elise are the only rowdy boys on this team

Ephraim has basically adopted Elise and the two of them fight EVERYTHING

She cheers him on so hard

Elise, watching Ephraim brutalize a guy: yes big brother go get him!

Marth, sipping tea with Ishtar in the background: What a lovely day.

Ephraim and Elise are like the kids that quote vines while their parents try to chill

Ephraim, filming himself in the mirror: Stop saying i look like chicken little hes dumb and a coward and im NOT a coward!

Ishtar, watching from outside: what is going on

elise: woah i just caught a wicked case of bofa!!

Marth: what is bofa

Elise, laughing to herself: fool….

Ishtar tries to be hip with the kids but she also tries to keep her really cool demeanour

So she’ll quote a lil meme with the kids but make sure that no one else hears her

Because if they do she will never live it down

Found, a Fire Emblem 7 ‘fic

Words: 2,641 words Summary: Unlike Lyn, Hector couldn’t simply leave it all behind, and he didn’t have the luxury of visiting old friends. But Farina did. And, she said, she could at least carry letters to them—quickly and much more efficiently than any Ostian courier. So he hired her. (And she touched lives.) Pairing/Character: Farina-centric, Hector, Eliwood, Lucius, Fiora, Natalie, Dorcas, Lyn, Vaida, Wallace, Serra, Priscilla, Lilina, and mention of a couple of others. I found this story on my hard drive and have reviews for it saved so I know I wrote this but until I reread it I’d completely forgotten I’d ever written it. I thought, “Wow, 2013 wasn’t that long ago! I should definitely remember this.” And then I remembered that 2013 was 10 years ago. COOL.

The date the story was last saved in my files was January 5, 2013, but I have no idea if that was the post-date or not.

I tried very very hard to take into consideration a couple of criticisms I had about the original story, namely that the “painting” scene didn’t feel like it belonged. When I reread it, I couldn’t take it out entirely (I loved it, honestly), so I connected it far better and shortened it so that it wouldn’t stick out and slow the pace as much.

I also had someone get confused about who Lilina’s mother was in the original, and it was always Florina to make this story work, so I added in a few more bits for that (and fixed a bit of awkward wording).

Finally, @markoftheasphodel was actually the only one to point this out (and she was 100% correct): the order of the scenes was erratic. She circled it back to the portrait scene being the problem, but on my reread I think part of the reason the portrait scene didn’t work was specifically due to the order the other scenes were presented in, so I rewrote them and rearranged them to feel more natural: almost like they’re going from one character to another as they learn the news and continue to write to one another.

One thing I think a lot of people forget about is that Farina’s supports with Dorcas end with her sharing some of that 20,000 gold she got from Hector with him so that he can get help for his wife’s bad leg. This is extremely important context since Farina’s personality in-game comes off pretty different. The braggart behavior is totally a mask, but without this context you lose that, and also lose that “selflessness” that comes up in the story.

Also, honestly, credit for this story has to be shared with @arthoure too, since it was our RPs with Hector and Farina that cemented her as a glorified postal employee and also friend of Lucius. Pegasus Express, GO! (I’m very attached to some old headcanons, I suppose.)

As for completely new additions, I added in more letters from others and tried to add details to show the passage of time toward the end of the story.

I hope this new and shiny version of this story is indeed the better one. I was pretty happy with the ending as it was, but wanted to add in enough to really make Farina’s death in isolation and loneliness feel like those are simply her own feelings: in adding some scenes, in particular Serra’s, it’s much clearer that her friends knew exactly where to find her—in their hearts, and in one another. 🤍
