oh yeah tumblr officially meet Gerard Kermit Frogariel Charlie Frederick Naveen Arnold Thomas von Lilypad the Third, Froggie or Gerard for short!

I put his names in a slightly different order every time I introduce him and his number is also different (third, second, seventh, sixteenth, etc,) because I am easily amused by this.

He is named, of course, after all the great frogs I have known, including Prince Gerard of Greenleigh, Kermit the Frog, Bogariel Frogariel, my much-beloved pet frog from childhood Charlotte (herself named after the famous spider), Prince Naveen of Disney fame, and Thomas after my brother’s tradition of naming every stuffed animal he ever got Tom-Animal (Tom-Frog, Tom-Dino, etc. He had a much loved Tom-Frog whom I had to pay homage to with my own frog’s name.) Frederick is included because it’s an excellent name for a frog and because Prince Gerard of Greenleigh named his frog friend(s) Fred, and Arnold is for Arnold Lobel, author of the wonderful Frog and Toad books.

If anyone has any other great frogs of literature or history who should be included in Gerard’s name, let me know because I would love to add them!!

I love all the acting choices David and Micheal made for their characters but one I'm especially obsessed with (and frankly I don't see it being talked about enough) is the body language/posture.

David took one look at Crowley and decided this boy is Bouncy™. He has cooked spaghetti for bones. Ninety percent of his walking is done by his shoulders actually. He might be man-shaped but he's actually a liquid constantly changing form to fully fill the container (chair) he's in.

Meanwhile Michael went - We'll he's an angel, of course he's prim and proper and carefully put-together. He has the posture and grace of a classically trained dancer. There is also One Million Bees under his skin at any given moment.

And they were so right.

And Klarion doesn’t explain- not that they were expecting him to- and just bolts into a… wow that is a very big and scary looking castle. Keep? Honestly it’s if someone combined a gothic citadel with a clocktower of some sort.

Not important, because they had chased after Klarion who uh… Oh no, that is a Very big entity, that is two Very Big entities that could crush them in their fingers. And they are now stuck in this place seeing as the portal closed behind them.

Honestly Klarion is happy he made it home before curfew! Even if he had to bring his sort-of-friends with him to make it in time. It’s not his fault, he’s not used to having a guardian, nevermind two! Not to mention siblings, which he’s now the oldest of too, so he has to be a positive influence. Like teaching them how to properly do chaos without destroying a world.

Oh, but this is perfect anyway, one of his dads has been wanting to talk to the speedsters anyway, and his other dad is still under house arrest for the whole, trying to take over the living realm thing. But that’s not important, he has little siblings to introduce!
