SEMI EITA

Pre timeskip Semi is more the guy to be asked out than do the asking out. Not in an 'he's got a bunch of fans clammering to do so, so he'll hvae his pick and say yes sort of way.' but more 'he's caught up doing his own thing so he doesn't think to ask people out' way.

He's a kind and caring person despite puting up a more indifferent front. Most of his time and effort goes into volleyball and his teammates. (despite them driving him a little nuts)

So you've got to have the Audacity™ to approach him, flirt and ask him out. And believe me he really finds that attractive. Loves a take charge in the moment, can take care of him back sort of person.

Needs someone to keep him on his toes and keep things interesting - someone a little unpredictable.

Timeskip Semi has a little more confidence in pursuing a romantic side of his life and is more of a flirt. He flirts with most people he finds attractive but he doesn't just ask anyone out. Waits to see if there's the right vibe - doesn't like just dating to date.

So let's say you asked him out. Your First Date would be something you planned during free time, likely during the weekend.

If you ask Semi what he would like to do he would be very diplomatic, letting you have control since you asked but voice 'something casual might be nice.' or offer up going to a food place.

Totally the kind of person to put your own preferences over his own, especially for the first date. To be honest, he's not really up to scratch on what the hot spots are for dates other than food places. Cafes right? That's where he would probably choose.

Ironically, with his teammates, if they were ever to get dates or romantic partners they would come to Semi for advice and he'd have perfect advice. Where to go, what to do, what to say, how to help them realise their feelings. But when it comes to him? Suddenly all that knowledge is lost. What knoweldge?

On the date itself he's a little jittery - though it's hard to tell unless you know him well. Taps his fingers a little on the table (moves to his thighs once he notices you staring at them). Tries hard not to keep flitting his eyes around and just focus on you but his mind is racing all over the place.

After you're on the date for awhile and ordered food he settles down and relaxes. He's never had trouble making converstion and this is no different. Manages to make you laugh effortlessly. Bonus points if you can do it back.

Post timeskip Semi is in the know. He's knows the places and it's effotless to woo you (even when he's not trying). Knows all the delicious dishes, things to recommend and is a little bit more relaxed.

Flirting comes naturally to him. Hes' nervous but plays it off smoothly. Knows how to keep his fingers occupied on his glass, feeling the condensation of his drink slide against them.

His first kiss is something that would happen after a few dates. He is patient. Patience itself. That and he's nervous as hell. He tried to do it once but was so aware of his hands shaking he bailed. Did an awkward laugh to brush it off as somethig else. Totally wasn't going in to kiss you.

Overthinks it for DAYS after that. Plans it out. Not just one plan of action to kiss you either. Plans out numerous scenarios so he's not caught off guard again. He's a cool guy. He wants to seem cool about this. Play it cool Semi.

All things go well until he's smacking his forehead against yours, cringing his nose a little as he goes in for that kiss. So much for the game plan.

You think this would dampen his resolve but its the oppostie. He takes this as his sign to just fuck everything and go for it.

Dives right in after the bumbling forehead smack and goes for your lips. It's a light kiss but with purpose. Then it's another and another.

Why didn't anyone tell him kissing felt this good? Never wants to do anything else.

Once you two are officially dating he'll find any excuse to take you somewhere private and kiss. Then it's making out. God he LOVEs making out.

He also doesn't want to be the only one initiating it to often though. That overthinking comes in. Doesn't want to come off super clingy even though he wants to permanently have his hands glued to your sides exploring. HELP HIM.

Loves a good casual arm slung around you too.

First time with Semi is born of these clingy, touching, wanting more moments.

It's not planned but it's something both of you likely have been thinking about for awhile. Each touch has been lingering longer, each kiss has been pushing deeper.

Then one day one someone asks 'can I touch you more.' There's a nod and clothes start to come off, piece by piece.

It's not a rushed process by any means but there' this sense of built of anticipation that sends a shiver up his spine.

Starts with the two of you lying beside each other, feeling each other out, exploring.

The main event - he has a thing for you being on top. Watching the way you move and grunt and push your forehead against his. He'll match your movements all the way.

All about giving and receiving after care. Cuddles and all.

Did fandom ever decide if Mat, while in Tar Valon, knew that Rand was "dead"? I went back to listen to Liandrin read the letter to Mat and while there is the implication there with the whole "miss Rand and Laila this close to Bel Tine". Then the implication of us 4 being Nynaeve, Egwene, Loyal and Perrin. She didn't edit that part of the letter, only skipped the last lines about Mat. However, during the reunion scene Mat asks where the others are and why Rand is not with Perrin. Making me think that Mat thought Rand was alive and following the horn of valere all along.

I have an angsty Mat fanfic stuck in my head but I'm only 1/3rd into The Shadow Rising and therefore a bit unsure about Mat's thought process, which is also probably different in show. For writing purposes..... I have a need to know if Mat has been beating himself up for abandoning Rand like that only for him to die. Alternatively if Mat is feeling alone, guilty and forgotten..... Like that scene with Liandrin implies she has read him a dozen letters, did she just add Rand into them, did Mat just think Rand was off doing his own shit.....

this is an interesting question because it's not really clear in the show! the parts of the letter you mentioned strongly imply rand is dead, but is mat picking up on that implication? does he have enough context to pick up on it? given that liandrin seems to have read him multiple letters from perrin over the past 6 months, it's possible there would have been some explicit reference at SOME point to rand being dead, but it's also possible that perrin only ever talked about missing him and didn't ever feel the need to outright mention what happened in fal dara since egwene & nynaeve were there too. but given moiraine's doom-and-gloom pre-waygate speech, it's also possible mat assumes that references to missing rand are because he died at the eye. since liandrin's goal is to make mat feel like a failure who abandoned his friends, if it's even SLIGHTLY on her radar that the other kids think rand is dead, then surely she would not hesitate to rub that in mat's face to make his guilt worse. but, on the other hand, maybe she would rather make mat think that rand is alive and just doesn't give a shit about him, same as the others.

we hear liandrin read out "i miss you both, and rand, and laila" so at the very least, mat knows that rand is not with perrin. and yet, in cairhien he asks rand "where's everyone else? are they here? where's perrin? egwene?" so, what are his motives for asking this question?

1) mat's simply so shocked to find One Surprise Friend in cairhien that he instinctively asks whether there could be More Surprise Friends!

2) now that rand is alive and not dead as mat may have believed, mat is wondering whether liandrin pulled some kind of aes-sedai-creative-truth-telling on him with perrin's letters (he doesn't know anything about the black ajah at this point, so he has no reason to think she'd be able to straight-up lie) or whether she led him to assume incorrect things about his friends, so he figures he'd better ask after the others just in case his assumption that they believe rand is dead is incorrect.

3) enough time has passed since the date of perrin's most recent letter that mat figures that letter doesn't have the most up-to-date info, and rand might have met up with perrin and/or the girls since then

or 4) a theory proposed by @butterflydm - mat thought rand was dead; knows that perrin, egwene, and nynaeve think he's dead; is fully aware that they aren't with rand in cairhien right now; is wondering why rand would be hanging out in cairhien while the rest of their friends think he's dead; suspects rand might have faked his death, or at least that SOMETHIG is going on with rand. and so him asking rand where the others are isn't because he actually thinks they might be with rand, it's because he's trying to gently prod rand into explaining to him why he's in cairhien alone and thought dead by everyone he loves.

so yeah, it's interesting to ponder! practically speaking, i do kinda think the show would've thrown in an "i thought you were dead!" during the initial mat/rand reunion if they truly meant us to think that mat thought rand was dead (and probably also would've had a line in an earlier episode where liandrin twists the knife about how rand died because mat left him), but there are also plenty of grounds to imagine that mat DID think he was dead. and at this point i doubt we'll get a definitive answer either way (although tonight's episode might prove me wrong!), so i think you could safely choose either option for your fic and it would feel canon-compliant! speaking of, i would LOVE to read that fic, so please send me the link if you end up writing & posting it!!

"that means there has to be another gate somewhere, right?" lucas asked, looking between dusting and max.

you remained quiet for a moment, then your eyes widened, and you hurried over to the others.

"eds, your trailer!" you said, and everyone paused. "if a gate has opened at every death site, there should be one in your uncle's trailer."

in the upside down, as robin, steve, nancy, and eddie stood by the light, a huge grin spread across your boyfriend's face when he heard your voice, and your revelation.

This is just a quick little vent post, mostly

If you see this, and you read it, and you can relate - you are not alone. This is hard, and I see you - I hope you're doing okay, or as okay as you can be

So my grandad has both. I often joke that he was simply too powerful, he was going to be immortal, they had to nerf him. So, my grandad has both dementia and Alzheimer's. I still don't entirely understand it, because one is a type of the other, but it creates some unique issues.

My grandad appears to be losing his memories randomly, while also going backward in terms of what he remembers, and he's potentially making up false memories in the process. I spent the last five or so years learning to listen when he spoke, because I knew one day I'd mourn the chance I'd lost to learn. Now, when he speaks, I don't know what's Certified Grandad Lore and what's the illness.

He doesn't remember the names of his daughters. He often becomes distressed because his mind works like Dory the fish, and he thinks his eldest daughter Sophie is called Samantha (fake names) and can't find her in his contacts. However, he knows who she is when she's there. He remembers me, I think, and my sibling and my cousins.

He doesn't remember his nephew, barely even seems to remember his brother-in-law who months ago he was telling me I needed to deliver a message of violence to (mostly playful, I think) because he doesn't treasure his wife enough.

I don't know if he remembers me. I wanted him to walk me down the aisle. The last time I saw him, he asked my dad who he was, and then he laughed. I don't know if he was playing off that he needed to be reminded, or he was joking about his own illness.

His wife died of Alzheimer's. My grandmother. Both my dad's parents. His sister-in-law died of Alzheimer's.

For a disease I knew very little of for a long time, and seemed so rare just a few years ago, is so frighteningly involved in my life.

My dad is very serious when he tells me that if he starts developing Alzheimer's or dementia, he intends to kill himself.

There is an increased risk that I will develop one of them. That my sibling will. That my aunts will. That my cousins will.

I fear a day in which my body isn't my own, and I forget that it used to be.

My grandad doesn't think his house is his, but we can't figure out where he thinks he does live. He doesn't remember where the toilet is, and forgets to eat. He's so skinny now, so slow. My grandad used to be untouchable.

My grandad once comforted me after I broke up with an ex by telling me that I should marry a rich man instead. He laughed, and I laughed with him, and it made everything much easier.

The last time I saw him, I wasn't sure that he remembered me, but he assured me that he thought I was doing something good with my life by being at university, because he missed that chance when he was younger and he wished he hadn't. He was narrow minded in his ambitions, and I'm doing well to do differently.

I will graduate, and I will do it for him. I will marry and be happy because that's what he wanted for me. One day, once I'm happier, I'll grow out my hair again because he liked it long. Once I have a job, I'll donate regularly to attempt to get this horrific disease cured.

There is nothing worse than slowly watching your loved one die, and they don't even know they're your loved one.

When you die, you leave behind everyone who loved you, but when you have demenia or alzheimer's, or somethig similar, you don't even know you're leaving them. There's no comfort to be given or gained.

I'm three hours away from home at university and my grandad is dying at home. I live every day dreading my phone ringing with bad news. One day he will die, and he will not walk me down the aisle, and I likely will not have seen him for months.

He will not walk my down the aisle, but I will save him a seat in the front row.

GO2 Spoilers ahead! Honestly I love all the theories (coffee, lie, magic trick) and think they're fun, interesting, and thorough, and while I think people are definitely asking the right questions, I personally don't think the Metatron overtly threatened Aziraphale or altered his state of mind in any way.

(the magic trick theory perhaps suggests that metatron just changed things to make Aziraphale more likely to say yes to him, but I don't know if I personally find that necessary)

There is Definitely Somethig Up with how Aziraphale retells his convo with the Metatron, but I really don't think it was an overt threat, esp not one to Crowley

(I think an overt threat to Crowley wouldve seen Aziraphale try to signal to Crowley in some way, they're good at that. And a pretty different/more stubborn,angry reaction on Azis part)

I could def be proven wrong next season, but Aziraphale seems Genuinely excited about the prospect of being Angels together with Crowley in Heaven and wanting that is 99.99% within his character.

Reasons I'm about to get into, but it isn't ONLY that it is within his character to want this, but it's also within his character:

To want to Check with Crowley First

Like, we see Aziraphale Check in with Crowkey before even TALKING to the Metatron. He isn't going to turn down an offer of Angelic Status on Crowley's behalf Without Asking

Like, yes of course Aziraphale is Excited, he Wants Crowley to say yes, there may have even been a disagreement or arguement if Crowley had said "oh you can tell them my answer is a resounding no."Like they may have still had the same convo bc Aziraphale hadn't been prepared for a No answer. (Ppl do this all the time, ask a genuine question then getting upset when the answer is no)

But ppl, I think Aziraphale was Attempting to Ask Crowley for their opinion, for what they wanted because Aziraphale never actually at any point tells Metatron "Yes" (or no)

I think being Angels with Crowley in a Heaven Aziraphale feels he can control ticks so many boxes of what he wants.

It lets Aziraphale:

Be together with Crowley in a way that is Safe for them both (his favorite thing)

It lets Aziraphale Do good and Help the Humans (his other favorite thing)---this may be a post for another time, but BOTH Azi and Crowley seem genuinely concerned for the souls and well being of the Humans they interact with that aren't, you know, freaking nazis. We see this with both Elspeth And Sitis (Crowley stops her from cursing God)

It lets Aziraphale give Crowley something back that he feels was taken away from Crowley unfairly (and in turn restore his sense of balance with the universe)

It lets Aziraphale be sure there won't be another Armageddon

It lets Aziraphale repay a debt i think he may feel he owes Crowley

It could even let Aziraphale help other angels he sees as like himself, hat he has something in common with like Muriel

And Aziraphale can always pop back down to earth when he likes

Like there are so many reasons for Aziraphale to think this is a good idea.

And those reasons are Not Even ALL wrong

The problem is Crowley doesnt Want to, for good reason, and Aziraphale will probably have less power than he thinks

Aziraphale Wanted to be able to say Yes

And he Might have said no to the Metatron if he'd just Asked Crowley with clear words on Crowleys opinion instead of just assuming and then being too shocked and hurt by Crowleys judgement and refusal to even be like "well I didn't answer dear, I wanted to check with you first. "

All that being said, I DO think Metatron subtly threatened Aziraphale, enough where Aziraphale still cared about safety, didn't forget that he and Crowley were unsafe, that Metatron reminded him in subtle ways of all the info that could be used against them Both, all while seeming a friend. I think the Or Death was implied, but I don't think Aziraphale quite caught on cognitively but instinctively (see reason number 1)

Metatron went for an obvious carrot and a subtle stick.

I'm gonna talk about that Trans Cousin Named Devonte tiktok, and I'm gonna be an ass about it.

If someone did this to me I would, simply, beat the shit out of them and tell them never to so much as look at me again for the rest of their bitch ass life.

Do you know how many mixed race people get told that they're Actually White and therefore their name is Racial Appropriation?

SO. FUCKING. MANY.

I know this because it has happened to me multiple times, and I don't always have a photo of me with my Much Browner Siblings And Parents to make a fucking point with. I take after a white grandparent exclusively in complexion and that's enough for people to call me a white bitch.

Not white people though, oh no. They know I'm One Of The Browns on sight. Only other POC and the occasional white liberal have the sheer fucking temerity to strip me of my family like that.

Now imagine being some fuckin' 24 year old (let us HOPE this poor kid isn't actually like 15). You're accepting yourself, and you decide to model your maleness after the people most important to you: your own family.

You give yourself a name that fits in well with said family! And every single one of them smiles and nods and says they respect you!

And every single one of them withdraws from you, is mocking you behind your back, calling you a different name, and refusing to even look you in the eyes to discuss their discomfort.

How the FUCK are you supposed to process that as anything BUT your family "trying their best" but ultimately rejecting you after you transition?

That's literally what is happening.

But because it's being delivered as a cute story from a cis comedian, we're supposed to simply assume that Devonte deserves this.

Mate, I can't even assume Devonte is actually white and not white passing, but even if he's a purebred 100% WASP, this is not reasonable of acceptable behaviour for his own fucking family, to refuse to talk to him, but them joke about him to thousands of strangers.

Sincerely, I hope that Devonte is an imaginary character made up for the joke, because if there's a real guy out there being rejected by his family over somethig this stupid and petty... well.

That's literally transphobic. Literally being so fearful of "trans threat" (in this case, being seen as a bigot) that you start treating a trans person as inferior and worthy of derision. That's WHAT that IS.

Just, couched in a coy layer of "so this white guy I know..."

doesn't she sound so proud of herself? standing up there with the applause from the audience, letting herself bask in that praise. she actually did it. she actually went up there and did it! of course he had known about her routine. he had heard all the bloody talk about it. but he had avoided seeing it. he hadn't been interested in watching her fall to her death. he knew she must be pulling it off in some extent. luca wouldn't allow a show to go on like that if he wasn't making any money on it. but there was something different about actually seeing it. blood and ashes, it did look dangerous. and he can't even remember how many times he ahd held his breath, thinking she might just fall. she hadn't, hadn't even stumbled.

he wasn't worried about her breaking her neck. light, but wouldn't that have solved a world of his troubles. she winces at the thought. wanting to yell something back at her but he knows she won't hear him. she had done another something to unsettle him again, hadn't she? her with her channeling, with her tight rope walking, always ready to rile him up just because she had nothing better to do. no need to mention the bloody lion throne. she wouldn't even get started on it. instead she was walking around in those bloody breeches, thinking that mat cauthon was an idiot enough to go chasing after her. someone had to drag her back down, tell her a flash of her dimple wasn't enough to keep him running after her every time she wanted him to!

well, her little act was over now. and he lets out the breath he's been holding. she's not up on the rope anymore. so he figures he'll go and find her. tell her that he's not impressed by her little rope walk. why should he be? did she expect him to gasp, jumping up and down, clapping the whole time. the bloody ridiculous woman! he ought to go over there to her and shake some sense into her. she was mad if she thought that he was going to let her do it again. from this moment forward onwards he would keep her in check. the bloody queen of andor walking the tight rope in those bloody breeches.

he makes his way through the crowd to find her. and there she was, getting all pepped up from the people around her, too. light, but she hadn't earned that. doing somethig stupid like that. he has to physically restrain himself from actually shaking her. but then she turns, she turns and something catches for a momet in his chest. he swallows harshly. there's a sheen of sweat on her skin, her hair is a little out of place. her eyes are alight with her excitement and her pride. of course, she's bloody proud! she has a bright smile on her face. there's an excitement running through her. he can basically feel it thrumming all through him.

"that was --" he lets out a breath, exhausted almost. tired. exasperated. he gives a small shake of his head and for one reason or another a smile breaks across his face as he makes his way towards her. his hands reach for her, taking hold of her arms. her arms! elayne bloody trakand's arms! a slightly tight hold but then he's laughing, blood and ashes, he's actually laughing. "you're bloody mad, you know that. you're mad." and he is actually shaking her just a little bit. he sets her a little from him, giving her a once over. not that he's worried. just looking at her, looking at her in those bloody breeches before he tugs her a little closer to him, his arm slipping around her shoulders "and look at you in one flaming piece, too."

Endadver X Elementalist X Star Spangled: Endeavor sees Midoriya, knows he’s Star and Stripes’ kid, thinks about trying to set up an arranged marriage with Fuyumi, then he sees Inko, puts 2 and 2 together, and nearly pukes over his previous train of thought.

Then he realizes that one of his kids it the child of a Number One Hero, and the lingering taste of bile is joined by a different bitterness.

I doubt he'd continue looking for Quirk marriages now that he has Shoto. Furthering the family was never really a concern

Some helluva boss talk because why not, fandom is active i kinda want to be active too (i think it was a mistake getting in it, but well...)

So what i find is kinda interesting is the fact that i saw quite a few people saying about messed up world buliding, flat characters and bad pacing. I am not a writer so obviously my observations are just personal thoughts.

So first, world building. I like that helluva boss doesnt tell but slowly shows more and more hell in bigger or smaller details. Like for example giving some ideas about Lu Lu World by showing its rip off. Some off hand commenst about hells rings (by Blitzo to Verosica "[...] the nearest ocean is THREE RINGS DOWN!". Moxx singing about Beelzebub and using pronouns "her". I like this because its kinda like solving mystery, you have to watch carefully for clues to get the whole picture. I see why some people may not like it, but personally i think its good to watch somethig and actually think about it. But as much as i enjoy it, its hard to hide that some things could have been showed and yet they werent. For example how to kill different kind of demons? Is death permament or do they somehow reincarnate as some fans like to think? I wouldnt mind it being unanswered if it wasnt kinda essential at this point. Like from 1ep we know imps are immune to fire (at least the normal one, maybe there is hellish painfull version), but a gun can kill them just fine. So we can assume that they are not hard to kill, and most ways will do. But what about regeneration? Is this human like or faster? Knowing this may change the stakes in high action scenes like in ep 6. Stolas may look kinda simplier, because it was said that angelic weapons can kill demon royalty, but if we take a look at his instagram account he can apparently get hurt by bear traps. So maybe he can get hurt by other methods but not killed? Does he feel pain? Probably, if his apparent masochistic or at least sub tendencies can mean anything. Or maybe its just cause instagram posts arent exactly canon? Dont know, but kinda would like to know.

Flat characters. This is kinda interesting because its different for each of them. For me the flattest one would be... Millie. Which is a shame cause she is litteraly in a main cast. Its hard to say anything about her except great assasin, country girl, Moxxies sweatheart. And that would be litteraly all. If she was a backround character it wouldnt be a problem, but the fact that she didnt even get one episode is sad (i dont count 5ep, because it was more about Moxxie, Blitz and Striker than her).

After her would be both Loona and Stella. I dont know... I think there is a big potential with Loona with her being adopted at seventeen, there could be so much thing that happened before that. Her relationship with Blitz also looks interesting so i kinda hope it will be a topic sometime in season 2. Unfortunately now she is just an angry wolf with maybe daddy issues, that wants badly be independent but it doesnt work mostly because of her overprotective impish dad. So she detaches herself from him by ignoring his affections and keeping a distance from other coworkers. Not much but still longer description than Millies.

Stella is... well she is an angry bitch that i personally find very entertaining. She clearly doesnt care about Stolas and probably isnt very motherly towards Octavia. Her biggest worry is social reputation and i am guessing her self-esteem. Its a mere theory but i think that she is lower in hierarchy than Stolas and so she tried to make herself feel more... dominant lets say, by taking him a few pegs down. Maybe because of her brother making her feel lesser than him all the time. Obviously it wasnt said in the show, so for now she just has to stay an abusive wife with not existing anger managment. Which i personally dont mind because i dont think she is important enough to have great depth. At least not yet. At this point I could say something about Octavia, but she was in one episode, so i dont see a point. I just hope she will get more important later, because even though she wasnt here long, we still kinda got to know her. Rich daddys girl, that feels betrayed by his affair, has fear of abandonment but not towards her mother, probably thought her parents had lovely peacful marriage even though its obviously not the case. Interested in taxidermy (unusual i have to say) and obviously has goth teenage rebelious phase. ... Actually there is quite a lot of it already. I think her character actually pretty good, the pattern is clear and well known but the one i find realistic, as a person whose parents were constantly fighting. Its obviously different but similiar enough i feel slightly uncomfortable.

Next i would say we have all of our villans. Exluding cherubs, they are kinda all the same, not counting deer one which i adore. But yea, so Striker, Verosika, Fizz. I wont write about Martha, nor Ozzie who i would say isnt an antagonist, and not about agents. Not important enough.

So Striker, cowboy revolutionist with ego bigger than his horse. I think he is good as an alter ego of Blitz, the person he wants and may be if he chose to leave others behind. He is a manifestation of his pridefull desires born from unfairness of being an imp. Not too complicated, but works very nicely i think. I like that he is actually an enemy of Moxxie, he is his opposite. Confident, strong, talented in everything as it seeems. He makes him question what is truly important, being on top or being kind and moral. Moxxie knows guns, he is an assasin but he still has some moral compas. Which makes him look too serious, weak, and easy to pick on. But about him i will write later (fuck this is getting reeaaaaaly long).

Verosika. Hmm, there is not much to write about her, she is just Blitzos ex that is a key to his past. We dont know much about her personality, she is a bitch but with a good reason, addicted drunk and famous pop star clearly using her fame to gain what she wants. But she may also be a caring lover, if the fact she got tattoo can mean sth, and words she says in Blitzos bad trip. I like she is the first to say anything about Blitzos sister, but its not a character trait so yea, doesnt really change a thing. I would like to see more of her, but of her past self or eventually her making amends with Blitz. I want to see this heartbreak that we had a snippet of in Asmodeus song. So yea, she is pretty flat.

Fizz. I am not sure how to write his full name so thanks whoever that i can just use this. Charming jester, with mean side that made Prince of Lust adore him (I assume). He is veeeery salty, i am seriously impressed. We dont know so much abot him yet, but as Verosika was a key, he is a freaking gate to Blitzos past. I think his character is kind of a mirror, different kind of alter ego than Striker. He is the guy who made his life work even though he lost his literal limbs. I would guess he and Blitz got hurt in the same accident that was in the end reason why they went different paths. If Striker is a vision of being succesfull assassin than Fizz is an image of a famous perfomer. He is an alternative that Blitz could have become but didnt. He has his own noble lover, but he is popular and loved by crowds too. He is rich, and made it to the top despite being an imp. While Blitz is stuck in the past never letting himself heal, Fizz is the one that left it behind while making the best of his life. He seems much less pained about Blitz than Verosika, at least for me, and it seem as if he got mostly over him. Obviously just a theory.

Now lets talk about Moxxie. He is an achor that Blitz needs, (Blitz is aware of it even if he doesnt want to acknowldedge it, as it is shown in Bad Trip). Moxxie is responsible (even overly so), hard working employee that finds rules to be revelant. He constantly reminds Blitz and Loona how work enviroment should look, he is worried about killing innocent and is a cultured eloquent musical nerd. At the same time he is an odd element in this bussiness and so he is constantly being questioned if its really worth being a responsible guy. Being mocked, and harrased by his boss, he is obviously frustrated and i would say even self-conscious. He is trying to keep stuff for himself to avoid being laughed at. Because of all of this he needs someone to have his backs, his dear wife Millie. Their relationship is where he truly shines, it lets him show his skill and worth, which is something he clearly wants. On the other hand for Blitz he is a friend but also o constant reminder of what he wants but cannot have. So by instinct he tries to bring Moxxie down to his level so he doesnt have to feel bad about himself, especially towards someone who may seem so weak at first look. Moxxie isnt an alter ego, but he is the possible future path that Blitz can take.

And now, finally, time for our stars! Stolas and Blitz.

Firstly, Stolas. Rich boy with daddy issues, clueless as fuck, a noble idiot who doesnt know how to be mighty prince nor how to stop seeing everything through his golden glasses. We started with him being a freak in the sheets, and ending up with sad not so old man that is very depressed and lonely despite having a family. Being quite childish, not knowing reality well and taking most of his knowledge from novels, soap operas and books. Especially books. Like damn, he is a nerd through and through. So, i saw some people saying that he was made too sympathetic. I wouldnt say so seeing how many people hate him either for having an affair, or having JUST an affair. Honestly its kinda hilarious. Personally i think as much as he got somehow excused for his actions it was only in case of his relationship with Stella. It still is a mess because he didnt think about his daughter, who was obviously very upset about this development. He didnt think about hells hierarchy and social standing, being very public about fucking imp and ignoring how the deal may look from Blitzos perspective. So sure, the affair got kinda excused but only in one way while many more still stay an issue. Stolas is a symphatetic character that obviously needs and will be developed. His song, owl in the cage or whatever its called clearly is a break through for him. The divorce too. His past was kinda predictable, but his possible future is interesting. Personally i hope he will learn to stand up for himself, when Goetias try to tore him down for bringing a shame to their name. He is not perfect character but thats kind of a point. He has to work through it. I dont think its a bad writing, though honestly the term is kinda unclear in its meaning.

And Blitz. Poor guy with daddy issues. A hell of a boss that makes this show spin. I find him the most interesting because i feel like we dont know shit about him yet. His past was foreshadowed even in the pilot (posters, dad crushing his dreams) and knowing so much we still dont know enough to get proper answers. He is an asshole but has a sweet spot for family. He acts overconfident while clearly hating himself, feeling like a solo act is an impossibility. Keeping everywhere reminders of his past, while running from it every chance he gets. Clown that is not funny, a failure circus kid that still got the big office he wanted so bad, even if its not very pretty. He wants intimacy, but is too afraid to take it. Adopted father of a hellhound, daughter that is very much is sick of his overprotective guts. Literal walking scar. He is full of contradictions and secrets and thats what makes him so interesting. Guy wears the mask 24/7 and i cannot wait to see how Ozzies event will start to crack it open. He isnt a good, honorable character, he is the son of a bitch that has all karma coming back to kick his ass and leave him totally broken so he can completely change. I didnt like him at first but i got invested cause i want to know how Blitz, this walking disaster, got to date famous Fizz, pop star Verosika and literal prince Stolas of the Goetia. Why is he afraid of people leaving, of intimacy, of love and all that jazz. The only thing i am worried about is what if the creators overdid the build up. Literally i have no idea how to make his past tragic enough to connect all this dots and explain his toxic behaviour. I hope i wont be dissapointed because oh boy. The show is quite literally about Blitz, almost every important character is in some way connected to him, so if he collapses the whole show will too.

So wraping this up, female characters are less complicated and more simple, while male ones get to shine. I hope to see this change in the future, i very much would like to meet Blitzos sister and mother (but somehow i feel it will take a loooong time). Even so, i still dont find this very annoying, because the show isnt kinda long enough yet to make everyone interesting, and i am not sure if this is truly needed. I like it more going slow because the pay off is better, so i am feeling pretty patient. Maybe except Millie, she truly needs some kind of a story. Dont know what kind, but still. I kinda wish there was some plot more focused on I.M.P, maybe some political stuff, troubles with law, working for dangerous overlord. Maybe dealing with agents and cherubs? Idk, something beyond relationship drama. Once again I dont think it will happen soon though. I hope to see something more to villians than just alter egos and i am very happy cause it seems like we will find out sth about Moxxies past. I was kinda wondering about this when we met Millies family. The crew need to work hard on explaining Blitzos character cause right now its a core of the show, similiarly to Stolitz. And so, i think the characters could have been written better, but i doesnt bug me very much because i am very invested in the ones that actually got the spotlight.

So last one, pacing. Honestly i dont know shit about this. I dont feel very bothered by the way it is. Millie should be more developed in first season, thats for sure. Its late if she gets it now but even worse if she doesnt. I kinda wish to know how much time passed though, how long is I.M.P. existing, how long did Stolas had a deal with Blitz. This are small things but they are somewhere in the back of my mind. But these are only issues i really have, and if i am honest i am unsure if they are exactly connected to pacing. I find it hard to really understand how that works.

oh baby its time to. Talk About. fe3h timeloop au.

i know i am hardly the first person to do a fe3h timeloop au, but its all fun and games here :) i say as i make byleth slowly lose their sanity at repeating the same sets of events over and over again.

So essentially, after expressing regret at the deaths of those on the opposing side of the war after a relatively normal blue lions play through, byleth wakes up and finds themselves back at the start of the game. thrown for a bit of a loop, but wondering if this has somethig to do with sothis, they continue as normal, but find that, despite their hair going back to their old color, sothis is still missing. confused, but hoping that perhaps by teaching one of the other houses, they'll find a happier ending, byleth ends up choosing the golden deer. it doesn't work, and at the end of the route, the end up waking back up at the start of the game. they try again with black eagles. no dice. by their fourth attempt, against their better instincts, as byleth at this point deeply cares for all the students but isn't sure what to do to try to keep everyone alive, and ends up siding with the church. it. Does Not Go Well. they learn about their mother and all that jazz during this, and develop a marked distrust towards rhea and the church as a whole, and deeply regrets siding against edelgard and being unable to help dimitri or claude. they become incredibly listless by the end of the route, much to the worry of their students, and the route ends with them deeply regretful.

SO BACK TO THE BEGINNING THEY GO! byleth just starts to rapidly unravel at this point, doing the other routes again and trying things just to see what sticks and what can change, developing an increasing sense of desperation and guilt as they find time and time again that things seemingly won't change. highlights of this time period include begging various characters to run if they get the chance, byleth mercy-killing dimitri before edelgard can during crimson flower, and begging edelgard to not kill herself at the end of azure moon. while the students till trust byleth overall, they often question their mental wellbeing, and for good reason. byleth is doing. Bad. during this period.

after going through the 3 main routes again and ending up back on the blue lions again, byleth just starts telling characters information in a sort of last ditch attempt to try and stop them from fighting each other, most crucially telling dimitri that edelgard could not have been the one responsible for the tragedy of duscur a bit before the flame emperor reveal. dimitri is rightfully confused at what the fuck byleth is talking about but trusts them enough to keep in mind. this, combined with dimitri having noticed that byleth is seemingly deeply unsettled by rhea and the church, helps him mcfucking lose in a slightly different direction and he doesn't turn directly against edelgard in terms of hostility, instead looking to find the real culprits behind duscur and developing an unfriendly attitude towards the church.

byleth still takes a 5 year long nap and in this period, dimitri actually ends up teaming up with edelgard after his presumed execution, as both he and edelgard eventually find out that twsitd were the ones behind duscur, so he ends up assisting in the silent war against them. Very Violently. he's still not doing good mentally but he no longer wants edelgard's head. funnily enough the 5 year timeskip is actually the focus of this au due to the complicated character relationships that develop here, mostly between dimitri, edelgard, and hubert, but like. its not where the plot happens. theres just a lot of really interesting and complicated feelings that could occur between all the students due to byleth's actions i think, plus the extra added bonus of all the students slowly beginning to realize that byleth knew Something somehow and them wondering if they'll ever learn that somehow. claude eventually allies himself with edelgard and dimitri after some intrigue and diplomatic envoys on his part, so the 3 house leaders eventually end up in a somewhat tenuous alliance together, and end up in the goddess tower by the end of the 5 year timeskip.

byleth is really cool and normal about seeing them together after the timeskip :) jk they break down and cry in relief at seeing all of them together, with the house leaders eventually learning about byleth's whole timeloop deal when they accidentally mention previous attempts.

the rest of the au is the students eventually dismantling the church to be a fraction of its former power and defeating twsitd, much to byleth's relief. everyone lives! :] except rhea and jeralt and sothis rest in piss

its a little messy but idk. thoughts of emotionally and morally complicated allyships and the sort of violence that desperation can lead to, even if its out of love.

A fighter pilots AU sounds fun! Lots of opportunity for antagonism early in their relationship and being forced into having to work together, which are of course my faves. I've only seen the original Top Gun, and that was many years ago so I don't really remember that much about the storylines, but I can definitely see them both as hot-shot pilots that come at the job in different ways. Napoleon's all smooth swagger, work hard play hard, Illya's more serious and focused, out to prove himself with a chip on his shoulder, both are arrogant af but with the skills to back it up. They'd constantly be at each other's throats but then shit gets real on a mission, and it changes things between them. Napoleon does something reckless but it saves Illya's life, and afterward Illya is furious about it in a way that he can't fully comprehend. He'd go to confront Napoleon, all "how could you do something like that?!" and is completely blindsided when Napoleon kisses him. It still takes a while after that for either of them to admit what's between them is real, of course.

Thousand of miles away, different timezones. Different time of the day, when its morning in Stellis its night there.

She wonder how things will workout in this kind of situation. After all this the first time Artem needed to go to a different country with a completely different timezone ever simce they've been together.

Not only that, but the work in themis will be much more hectic once he leave. It means there is a lesser chance for them to talk. Eventhough its just three weeks, she couldn't help but worry and at the same time miss him.

Standing by the window, a frown can be seen on her face. Trying so hard to distract herself by looking at the citylights but it wasnt working. A cold air brushes by her skin making her shiver.

"I haven't even left yet and you're already frowning" Artem drape a coat over her shoulder, and wrapped his arms around her waists.

Pulling the coat closer, a familiar scent filled her nose and instantly calms her down. She snughle closer to him to seek more of his warmth.

"Its cause I miss you already." She turn around and look up at him, his clear azure eyes clearly reflects her silhoutte.

Artem reaches out to cupped her face. Leaning down a bit to press his forehead againsts hers. As his thumb gentlt drew circles on her cheeks

"I'll make sure to call you whenever I can, don't overwork and make sure to eat the right meal. I'll make sure to do the same so you dont have to worry"

Listening to him all she could do is nod, at that point she realizes that Artem feel the exact same way she did.

"Come back home early okay?" Circling her arms around his neck.

Artem nods and try his best to force a smile.

"I miss you already" he whispered before pressing a kiss on her lips.

The next day it was time for Artem to leave. She was driving him on the way to the airport so he could rest for a bit before his flight.

As they get nearer to their destination the more her heart sank. Looking over at the sleeping man on the passenger seat a sense of longing envelops her. She keep telling herself its just three weeks it'll be passed by but still she feels lonely.

"Have you got everything you needed" She handed out his suitcase to him

"Yeah, I'll call you once the plane landed." He reaches out and envelop her in a hugged.

"It'll be 3 am here when you land" a trace of sadness can be heard in her voice, remembering the huge time difference between the two of them

"I'll send you a message then" he hugged her a bit tighter before letting her go to kiss her lips neither of them don't want to stop but alas the time for him to leave has come.

Artem walk towards the entrance, turning around to take another look at her. She waved her hands and forced herself to smile but the tears are threatened to fall anytime.

He smile for her one last time before walking away. She stayed there until his silhoutte vanish from her view.

She walk back to her car and drive away.

Its been three days since Artem left Stellis. With all the work at Themis they rarely have the chance to call each other. And some messages are answered the following day.

She keep looking the file at hand but her mind wanders to where he is. Another sigh left her lips for the nth time that day.

"Are you okay?" Kiki walked over to her table to check if her have a fever or somethig

"Yeah, I just need a drink" she stood up and went over the pantry. While taking a drink her gaze lands on Artem's office and it made her miss him more.

The caee file she have been handling suddenly vanished.

"Take a day off, you dont look to well. I'll take care of this" A familiar voice speak behind her.

She turn around, and saw Celestine standing behind her while holding the case she's been working on

"I'm fine. Just needed a drink" But Celestine didn't return the file to her

"You're going home, dont worry about the case just take a rest for today"

Knowing its futile to argue she just resigned to her fate and head home early leaving her case to Celestine.

It was 4pm when she reached their house. Placing her things on shelf and changed her clothes,since its still too early to sleep so she just sit on the couch and was about to watch a movie.

But then as she looked at the clock something struck her. Maybe just maybe he's awake this time. She took her chance, and video called artem.

She could feel her heart beat faster everytime the phone rings. Until the person she have been longing for popped on the screen.

“Artem” its the only thing she could say woyhout breaking down

"Is everything alright," he asks since its unusual for her to be home early

She nod and told him Celestine send her early to rests.

"Then you should rest early, i'll be going then" Artem was about to end the call but she object.

"No, I dont need rest. I want to talk to you, Artem I miss you so much" Tears began to fall from her eyes.

Artem dont know what to do, he usually hugs her to comfort her but being far away. He couldnt do that. The only thing he could do is talk to her.

"I wont end the call let's talk until you're ready to sleep" He smile and it worked.

They talk for hours, even if artem is working she just told him things happened while he's away.

"I need to get something" Artem excuse himself.

She was already lying on the bed facing side ways, while holding the phone on her hand. A yawn escaped her lips, she tried her best to suppress her sleepiness but after a couple of minute it won over her.

"So-" he was about to apologize but he notice a sleeping face on his phone. He picks it up to take a look at her closely.

A fond smile spread on his lips, he was hesitant for a bit before pressing a kiss on his screen where she was sleeping soundly.

"Good night my love" he mumbles under his breath before ending the call..

After that day she have more energy to conquer different cases. And the day she have been waiting for finally arrived.

She keep walking in circles and looking around as she waits for his arrival. It feels like forever but then Artem finally comes out of the airport dragging his luggage.
