I found 3m of golden yellow linen in a charity shop and decided luck was smiling on me, so I patterned out this ruched bodice with cap sleeves. This dress makes me feel like sunshine :) I finished it early so I can wear it on my birthday!

3 outfits, 1 dress; with Lavender Rococo Bouquet Long Tiered Dress.

The very first casual outfit is very similar to my previous rococo bouquet outfit. When I first received this dress and was thinking about how I wanted to wear it, these three outfits emerged--with the cardigan, jacket and corset (respectively) as the centrepieces of the outfits.

I was looking at a Japanese lolita’s coord with rococo bouquet + corset when the dress was first shipped out, and thought it turned out really nice, so wanted to try it myself :)

🌱Self drafted sundress bodice with button placket and back shirring, with self draft tiered skirt. Styled with thrifted cardi and hat, and a little enamel mushroom necklace from mairijewellery.bigcartel.com 🍄

🍄Drafting that tiered skirt was hard! Proportions for a flattering waist-hip ratio are actually quite delicate (I have no hips), so I wound up making the top tier 2.5x waist and the same length as the side bodice after a LOT of trial and error ;_;

POV: Your friends from the lolita fashion community have a joint birthday party in a famous local beer garden and the temperature is suddenly 17°C even though it's August!

Black goes with everything. Ssssshh! I don't have nearly enough shoes or tights in matching colours, so that's why I match black when I have no other option. Otherwise I wanted to be colourful anyway, and went with my Blooming Butterflies dress, added a light green underskirt (which shows up unevenly in the pictures but oh well) and a light green woolen jacket.

That was at the beginning of August by the way. Currently we have a heatwave with 35°C. I only WISH it was cold again!

She's wearing a handmade lolita fashion dress with flowers and leaves and butterflies on it, with a beautiful white scalloped lace hem with golden embroidery on it. A pale green underskirt peeks out underneath the dress. On top the dress bodice is covered by a pastel green woolen jacket, a pale golden cloth scarf and big a golden crocheted shawl. The woman is carrying a heart-shaped golden bag with bow details on it and two leaf hair clips and blue flower hair clips in her hair. Tights and shoes are black, because it's cold and black matches with everything in her opinion (also sometimes you have to dress for necessity).

Picture 2: A group picture inside the restaurant, with all of the people gathered for my two friends joint birthday party. Everyone is looking and smiling (more or less) at the camera. You can see trees through the wide window front and artificial green decor on the ceiling. It was a cosy place!
