Red Robin is a dumb name. Redbird or Cardinal?
Main colors: black and red, yellow, orange accents, brown
BTAS era nightwing dominos
No dedicated tool belt, many pockets & sheaths stashed on body: along arms, thighs, ribs
Knee pads, shoulders, forearms & elbows, shin guards in boots. Key armor spots but overall built for speed. Relies on staff.
Guards on back [of hands] & first knuckles. Built to retain dexterity.
Leaner build relies on gadgets/staff for offensive. Still good for hand to hand, but physicality means that sometimes it’s not enough. Defense is not getting hit.
Top edge of mask follows eyebrow movement

Dick Grayson:

Escrimia sticks still stored on back

Inside of costume has a lot of joint support: soft landing tech like Shell (Portal), firm areas in [backs of] knees so thin lines don’t dig in as bad, non-stretch of “harness” that [spans] palms-shoulders-torso/hips prevents Dick from tearing his shoulders every other night
Full grippy shoes [soles]
Cassandra Cain:
Black Bat
Black, pale yellow/grey
2 part mask: cowl & bot half. Can take cowl off and keep bot [on].
Nose bit sticks out more on cowl over bot mask
QUIT Fuckin emphasizing the female body. She is JUST as shadow blob as Bruce. Draws a lot of parallels to Bruce’s batman uniform
Cass is completely covered; no skin showing. More armor/padding than Dick & Tim, less than Jay and Bruce.
With chest padding there is NO BOOB emphasis. Very androgynous look. Gotham refers to Black Bat as they/it
Mask is NOT forgiving with facial expression, but anyone who knows Cass can read her body language
Farthest wing tip [of chest bat logo] trails down shoulder
Doesn’t have much color on suit. Only definition seen is light glancing off edges & the bat insignia
Got the arm spikes
Batarangs are probably blunted rather than throwing knives at people.
