Azure Ekoms x Carol Ann

He adores her, almost unconditionally.

He finds it relieving that she also finds interest in books and literature in general. It's usually why their dates often involve reading together.

Azure thinks she's easy to talk to, and would often confide in her when he needs a shoulder to lean on.

He finds her cute when she's flustered, especially when he compliments her in french. Once she's learned the language fluently, he hopes they'll be able to occasionally form conversations in the language.

Azure loves Carol, he finds her adorable, funny, beautiful, and loves her almost unconditionally.

He doesn't hate Carol to a certain extent, of course not. But at the same time, he means it when he says he'll love her almost unconditionally.

Azure finds it difficult to talk with Carol sometimes, especially when the topic involves their personal issues.

Arguments don't happen a lot, but when they do, he sometimes gets annoyed when Carol tries to prove her point a little farther than necessary.

When arguments happen, he's scared she'll leave him for someone else. Azure's aware that Carol has a boatload of other options besides him, so he's afraid that if he says one wrong thing, it's over.

Azure loves Carol, he really does, but sometimes he believes that they need to work on their communication with one another so they'll have a balanced relationship.

Victoria Shard x Yasuno Innochi

As annoying as Yasuno may be for Victoria, she can't deny that he has his own positive traits that she absolutely adores.

She finds it comforting that he's able to help her with her alchemy projects. Especially on topics she isn't as familiar with.

Whenever they walk around together, she thinks it's cute that he'll sometimes squeeze her hand a little tighter in case they'll walk into a large crowd of people.

She secretly thinks the nickname he gave her is cute, and that's why she calls him "Devil" as more of an affectionate nickname than an insult.

Victoria loves Yasuno even though he can come off as a hindrance to her.

Despite the love she has for him, Victoria can't stand Yasuno at certain moments.

A problem their relationship has is with communication. It's good enough for relationship standards, but with the type of shit the two of them went through in the past? It clearly isn't enough.

Whenever they have their arguments, Victoria's mind wanders. It wanders off to the fact that if she leaves him, he'll likely brush it off and move on to pine over someone else.

That fact alone is what makes their relationship uneasy.

And she can't help but wonder.... Would her life be better if she just left Yasuno altogether?

Grey Nephrite x Nanoya Naegi

[ ❤️: Grey's positive thoughts on Nanoya ]

With their relationship, Grey understands that communication is an important thing to consider. So naturally, they base most of their relationship off of spending time with one another.

When they spar, Grey loves the level of adrenaline they both have. The tension with an opponent who could drag her down with him? Sign her up!

Whenever he teaches her a new combat technique, Grey's almost always amused at the amount of focus Nanoya has with explaining.

She likes that he's okay with losing. It's one thing to be beaten by a strong opponent, but it's another thing if the one who lost isn't exactly happy about it.

For Grey, communication is key. And she makes sure to remind Nanoya that if he needs a shoulder to lean on at any given moment, she's there for him.

Even though communication is key for both Grey AND Nanoya, they still have difficulty trying to understand each other. Especially in Nanoya's case.

Grey often locks up her emotions, because that's what she was told to do due to her life as a princess. And because of locking up her emotions, she can't even tell if what she's feeling is genuine.

Their arguments are brief since they both try to sort things out before it escalates. But there are times where the arguments take longer to calm down because of Grey's refusal to express her feelings to Nanoya.

He doesn't know what to do, especially since he's afraid he might upset Grey even more by trying to help and messing it up in the process.

Compared to Yasuno and Victoria? Their relationship is leagues better because of their communication. But still, at the end of the day, Grey still needs to sort out her own feelings before she can confront Nanoya about his.

Yasuno: Seeing you be interested in Jewelry, how about you take care to shape a diamond in the rough like me... I know I am a wild one but don't you want a challenge in taming me. Make me obey to your words. I doubt you can make it but I would welcome you to try.

Nanoya: I think thanks to you I finally grew closer to fighting all my fears I had before... I still have my regrets but you give me the strength to move on and... I wanted to thank you for that, Grey.

Emil: I... am kind of glad you always invite me... it feel like all the anger and frustration as well as the dark thoughts vanish... but also I am afraid... if you get close to me and Ronnie will try to use that against me... I don't want you to be in danger but I want to be close to you... would you be fine if we keep our meetings still a secret?

Carol: Say Azure... I know I miss home a lot but also being with you feels like I found a new home... I already feel kinda happy thinking about the future... how these stories we read often make me fantasize about building a life up with you and... even that already just makes me so happy to think about... so you really don't have to worry about me getting homesick... It will still happen but I know what happiness I have here.

Listen- I have a totally reasonable explanation on why I decided to make them have responses to these- not really but SHHHHHHHH

{ Victoria }

She stares at him coldly, adjusting her blouse as she approached him.

With a light hum and an intimidating gaze that made his mind run wild, she used the tip of her blade to gently lift his chin. Making him look up at her as she stood in front of him.

"Though you may believe that taming you will be a challenge..." She trails off to inch closer to his face.

Victoria began to gently move her thumb against his lips, her glare remaining cold and condescending.

"At the end of the day... A manipulator gets what they want with enough ambition."

{ Grey }

She basically audibly gasped before looking away in an attempt to hide her flustered state.

At this point, her heart was running wild to the point it was running a fucking marathon.

Eventually, she turned to him, face flushed with a somewhat embarrassed smile...

"N-No problem.... Happy to help."

{ Frisk }

Embarrassed by her blushing face, Frisk hid her embarrassment behind her long lochs of hair.

She didn't know what to say.... But at the same time, she felt that she already knew what she was going to say.

"O-Of course... I'm okay with keeping our meetings secrets as long as we are both safe. Though I am unaware of who "Ronnie" is.... I won't dwell on your past unless you are fully ready to tell me."

Putting down his book, he smiled softly.

Gently caressing Carol's cheek, Azure looked at her lovingly. With every second of his gaze feeling like an endless river of sacred affection.

Much like Carol, Azure was also thinking about his future with her. And though there may be a way for her to eventually return home....

"Mon tout... Even if you are to find a way to return to your original realm where magic is non-existent.... I will wait for you. If it means... You will wait for me as well, if those circumstances were to take place and... We are to say our goodbyes."

Ship: Nanoya x Grey

Scenario: Grey proposes to Nanoya a week after graduation

{ Apologies for any out of character moments }

Today was the day Grey had been dreading.

After having graduated Night Raven College and celebrating Nanoya's graduation from Hourglass Station Academy, Grey had been planning it since they began preparing for graduation.

Though, she pretty much felt like absolute dog shit cause.... She doesn't know how to propose. And Goldstein proposal customs are... Likely to be confusing for Nanoya.

So obviously, she had been dreading the day Nanoya had officially made his visit to Goldstein to see her a week after graduation.

Not only that, but Victoria had been engaged to Malleus Draconia of all people. I mean, Grey vividly remembers the two wanting to chop each other's heads off. Not that she isn't happy for them of course.

The real issue stands with the fact that she can't really learn from Malleus's proposal. Fae culture is much more different in comparison to Goldstein customs.

So basically, Grey was slowly becoming an insomniac from constantly thinking of ways to propose to Nanoya. Ruggie suggested that she used Goldstein customs but she ended up ticking that one off since they'd be somewhat confusing to explain.

Especially since Grey gets easily frustrated and would probably start throwing hands when she's struggling to explain-

Well, I digress.

Grey was in the training room in her palace, contemplating on how the proposal she had already planned, will go.

Nanoya enters the room, and immediately goes stiff. Sure he's somewhat grown out of his fear of women, but seeing Grey literally impaled a training dummy's head and it got ripped off from that throw alone? Yeah that fear may be getting back soon-

Noticing him, Grey also stiffens and smiles awkwardly.

"Ah.... Hi Nanoya." She greeted, grabbing a towel and rubbing her face to dry any sweat. Nanoya hummed softly.

"Hi... So, you said you wanted to show me something?" Grey inhaled sharply from his question. When he asked if she was okay, she hesitantly nodded.

"Uh- Yeah... Wanted to have a sparring match with you..." Nanoya rose a brow. They spar more often at this point, why's she suddenly so nervous about it?

Nanoya pondered over it as he nodded and Grey walked over to the rack of rapiers and picked two up.

When they began sparring, it goes as you'd expect. Grey's movements are aggressive, but they've slightly improved. Nanoya's also properly adjusted to Grey's fighting style a bit more.

What Nanoya never noticed, was that Grey had slipped a gold ring on his rapier.

When the match ended, Nanoya heard the noises the ring made, and his eyes were never any wider.

Carefully taking off the ring from the rapier he looked at it for a moment. Made from solid gold, with an odd symbol at the center of the ring.

"What does this symbol mean...?"

Grey blushed as she walked over to Nanoya.

"It's the old language of Goldstein. Basically became a dead language but.... It means 'For someone worth fighting for'." She quietly stated.

Nanoya fell silent as the realization hit him like a truck before he got isekaid into some romance novel as a pretentious side character.

"You're.... Proposing?" He questioned. Grey locked eyes with him, her eyes immediately telling Nanoya yes, I am.

For a moment, Nanoya stayed silent. And that somewhat terrified Grey...

Will... Will he reject- , Grey's thoughts were interrupted by Nanoya suddenly locking his lips with hers. Though she was startled, it didn't take long for her to return the kiss.

Pulling away from the kiss, Nanoya's eyes widen as tears form on Grey's face.

"!! A-Are you-"

"Yes.... I'm fine..." She giggled, wiping her tears gently."I just didn't expect you to actually say yes..."

Nanoya hummed, his smile somewhat widening.

"Well, I can't simply reject such a proposal from you.... So yes, I'll be yours."

For the Love Rival thing:

Eikichi: Likely on to death stare behind Azrail with his wrench in his hand and smile when Azrail looks at him

Emil: Lightly Grumpy and probably Holds Frisks hand

Nanoya: Pretty clam, tries to guess the situation Grey is in a is a bit close to be protective if there is something, if it was his buddy Flynn he would bonk them on the head with his wodden sword but don't worry, he has the allowance from Flynn himself.

Azrail Despoina

Honestly? Eikichi doesn't need to worry much

Especially since Azrail is.... Azrail

If anything, he'd be more annoyed than Eikichi

If anything, Azrail would likely consider the potential love rival a nuisance for disturbing him. Knowing they were a love rival or not

If they confessed?

Well, that's where Azrail's brutality comes in

His words are harsh , to the point where you almost feel bad for the one who's receiving such a rejection

He tries to be as polite as he can but ultimately it wouldn't work since it's a habit of his to be quite brutal in terms of wording

All in all, Eikichi wouldn't have much to worry about if the love rival even came as close to flirt with Azrail

Frisk De La Rose

Emil should be more worried about Frisk than the love rival tbh

This girl is anxiety personified

She'd be stammering up a typhoon that she'd be too busy figuring out a response than the idea of Emil having a love rival

And maybe out of instinct she'd accident activate her unique magic and MAYBE a white knight or 2 would straight up appear and start staring down at the rival menacingly while she overthinks her response

It's an even worse case if they respond, since Frisk is just dazing off and desperately thinking of a respectable but to the point response

Someone help the poor thing

Likely oblivious to Emil and his grumpiness until he holds her hand to calm her down

Though it may take her a while to take in the fact that he was grumpy over the love rival

All in all, Emil please give the girl a hug-

Grey "Re" Nephrite

Honestly be more worried about the aftermath because Grey does not take randomized flirtation very nicely

Possible dropkicking as soon as they finish the pick up line

Likely fueled Nanoya's fear of women a lot more

Nanoya, please restrain her she's going to judo flip the guy if they continue talking about how they'd walk through hell and back for her

Her reaction to flirting from someone who she clearly doesn't like is already bad

It's only worse if they confessed

Boom. Punched through the wall or smth-

Again, SOMEONE RESTRAIN HER-

However she will tone it down if it's Flynn

She knows he's friends with Nanoya so she doesn't really mind him flirting with her

She'd probably be amused if Nanoya bonked him on the head

But even then she'd still dropkick him-

"E-Eh????" She stammered, staring at Emil, her face redder than her hair by this point.

After a while, her face became less red, only pink tinted cheeks. Frisk covered her face from embarrassment, a quiet smile on her face.

"T-T-Thank you..." She chuckled, turning to face Emil with a sweet smile.

Nanoya x Grey

Grey smirked, crossing her legs as she sat on the table, facing Nanoya. Nanoya noticed her tail lightly wagging.

"So you find me attractive? Well I'm certainly flattered~" She teased, a finger tickling Nanoya's chin as she stared at him intently.

"You should be lucky to see me this flirtatious, I'm usually not this.... Generous..."

Eikichi x Azrail

I'll be completely honest here- It took this man a second to take in Eikichi's words.

Once he did, he hummed, a light smile on his face.

Pushing up his glasses, Azrail gave Eikichi a blank stare, somewhat intimidating the latter, given how intimidating Azrail is.... In general.

"Thank you.... I appreciate it. Not many people compliment my appearance other than some obsessive otakus. I like a change of pace from time to time, so again, thank you..." Though he muttered that last part, Eikichi heard loud and clear.

Well- at least not in public

Azure shows his affections for Carol really subtly when in public

Mainly because he gets embarrassed easily but won't fucking admit it

I'd imagine there would be times where Carol would tease Azure about it, but not to the point where she'd make him uncomfortable from trying to answer the questions

In public, Azure typically does the following:

Hand holding

Resting on each other's shoulder/lap

Forehead kisses

Hugs

And because of how he displays affection, many go and assume that Azure just- a big ol' softie

And their right! .... Mostly

Azure's way more affectionate, and blunt about his feelings for Carol, when they're actually alone

I'd imagine that Azure's love language is quality time

He'd frequently take Carol out to many types of libraries around twisted wonderland and read the different books together

Hell, he'll even let her read the novels he's written

And despite his overall confidence about how it's written, Azure somehow gets a little shy when Carol reads it

Though there are times where he insists that he reads the novels himself, whether they were written by him or not

Carol would rest on his shoulder, lap, or chest, and would listen to him read the novels

He'd often tease Carol when reading the romantic parts

And he has no shame

{ Grey Nephrite }

Blunt about everything, and has little to no shame

Grey was taught that confidence is what makes a good ruler, and without it you'll never be able to face certain hardships

And that includes relationships

It's almost funny how blunt she is

Like-

She could literally say something really flirtatious mid-sparring match with Nanoya, and he'd just look at her with absolute surprise

When they're in public, Grey doesn't really give a crap about how their relationship is perceived

I mean, she's heard nasty rumors for years, why should she worry about them now when she knows they aren't true?

Things will get messy if the rumors badmouth Nanoya though

Whoever did that is going to have a target on their back-

But in private? OHOHOHOHOHHOHO-

By the seven is she flirtatious little shit

Well- in terms of body language and not words

She generally gets frustrated trying to explain what she means, so she just expresses how she feels with her body language

Between affirmation or quality time for this girl

Quality time mostly includes them going out, sparring, or just being around each other

And affirmation sneaks it's way into that when Grey unintentionally mentioned a serious topic for Nanoya

She won't say anything about it unless he felt comfortable with it, since she doesn't want to make him feel uncomfortable

Nanoya, please don't tease Grey about her words of affirmation cause she might get embarrassed about it and might drop kick you

First meeting

“I remember it was during a warm up for the tournament... I saw her take many opponent single handed and with ease...after she was done she walked up to me asking if I wanna go next but given my fear I backed off which surprised her... I fought another opponent and she seemed annoyed at why I didn't want to fight her. So I explained the basics of my fear and she said: "Maybe it will help you to fight me." Since then we sparred a lot."

"How I met this Angel... I remember her reading something in the courtyard and although I chased Carol before I stopped as I saw her in that light... that cold and annoyed stare... this aura... and as I said one thing she glared at me like a death stare... it was lovely... "

"Our dorm wanted to interest some customers in the Heartslabyul dorm and I remember Frisk and Freyah walking up to me seeing all the dolls and accessoires I made... seemingly curious... Freyah seemed to encourage Frisk to talk to me give her shyness but somewhat it felt oder having attention on me... I did enjoy it to calm my mind back then."

"That tree we met... that day where I still wasn't much at RSA and always had to search for Fabio... to have Azure offer me help was sweet but holding my hand... I was flustered to say the least... At usual Azure was used to Carol stopping by his school for some study dates at the library or occasional they corrected some things in his room, however his heart got nervous as she texted him that day.

Carol: Hey Azure...would you mind if I stop by at your room after classes? Yuuta is annoying once again and... well I thought maybe we could be a bit more closer today?

What did she mean by this... he responded in curiousity.

Azure:I don’t mind it... feel free to.

As time passed and he heard a knock on his door he opened it to see her... in a much more shorter summer dress with a bright smile at him... it was like she tried to mimic the protagonist from that novel they read together however... it was a novel she suggested and... the romance in there was much more suggestive than anything... and that very same book was also what she was carrying with her to read it on... Her face showed a hint of redness...

“Its good to see you.”

“R-right, come in.”

She sat down and placed the hat she was previously wearing cause of the sun down on the table laying the book next to her...

“Could we maybe read this together, we didn’t finish it and um... well... how do I put it...”

He noticed her stumbling over her words a little as he sat down next to her. His heart still raced fast cause he noticed what she was trying to get across... however he took the book and layed it back on the table.

“I don’t think you will need this to get across your feelings right now... I have been noticing your advances lately...” His face also got red, which caused her to chuckle a little.

“I wanted to ask you if you would be ready to... experience this with me... I have been thinking about it for a while...”

As she said this her hand layed on his knee a little her face got a bit closer to him looking into his eyes like a plea... responding to her he pulled her closer for a kiss laying down with her...

“And you are sure about this?”

“Azure, if I wasn’t you didn’t think I would have planned all this.” She chuckled a little holding his face in her hand to kiss him once again a bit soft yet passionate ,leading his hands along her curves to her chest placing his hand between it playfully smiling at how red his face got from this... causing him to gulp a little.

“Relax a little... I just want to enjoy this slowly with you... we don’t have to rush things but... tell me if I go too far...”

To her surprise he wrapped his arms around her and pushed her a bit down onto the bed kissing her neck and causing a squirm from her mouth. It was like his confidence came back a little.

“I do want you to feel good as well so don’t worry about me...”

“Azure...” And so they leaned back into this closeness, Carol sliding the dress of her shoulders and lean back into his embrace... even though it was a first for both of them it seemed Carols plan did make them more at ease thanks to the book to give into the advances of the other.... And at least nobody would disturb them here.

He found himself quite in a bind as Grey dragged him away after watching the Kendo club... finding himself in the empty locker rooms with her sitting on his lap getting him nervous. They mainly landed in this situation after she saw him sparring with some other students shirtless and couldn’t resist pulling him away from this. His face was in a deep red but also part of him was glad his old fears didn’t came back.. but seeing her eye him like he was her prey left him a bit more weak. He did hold her around her waist to keep her grounded.

“Say, you told me before you had troubles when your scars are touched... has that changed?”

“Maybe you can try it out.”

She let her finger run down his muscly upper body with a smile as his face didn’t show any signs of fear or worry. All that was left was a genuine smile at her.

“Seeing you like this does make me feel enticed right now... “

“I don’t mind what you do with me, Grey... just what makes you happy... I will be yours...”

His words got her closer to drag him into a deep kiss, tongues clashing with each other as he pulled her close into his embrace...

“Hey this is your school right, is your room far from here, Nano?”

“Not that far, come with me.”

She gave his butt a light smack of encouragement before they left. Although it surprised him his found confidence was a bit stronger as he was determined to sneak into his dorm without being spotted by Flynn to take her to his room and continue this light powerplay between them a little. Although in the end she had most of the control on him.

Nanoya was on an Errand for Flynn again, this time to gather some informations about the dorms at NRC in general. He was often there met different students the last weaks but as he wanted to enter to the Savanaclaw dormitory suddenly he was stopped in his tracks almost violently... He knew the face too well and his fear kicked in. Althought he did find Grey attractive he couldn't work with his fear around them.

"Are you fine, I have to dissapoint you, but the dorm is closed for today. Cat got your tongue?"

"You should know what is up."

"Right I forgot." They put their leg down and moved a bit away from him.
