I came into majoras mask knowing full well that each region was based after the five stages of grief. I knew about the deaths in this game. I knew about everyone’s reactions to the moon. And yet… it all is still taking me by surprise at how truly dark and hauntingly beautiful this game is 😭

imagine if the credits for majora’s mask were tied to the actions you did in your last cycle
like instead of that everybody is happy celebrating the festival, if they were a specific set of cutscenes that each play depending on whether you did it before fighting majora or not
so like, if you didn’t defeat each temple boss you would see cutscenes from that region still in trouble like the deku with the monkey over the fire or the gorons all frozen, but if you did kill all the bosses in the last cycle you can see the regions happy like in the actual credits
and the same for important quests as well, grog could either be with his chicks or with grown cuccoos, pamela might be with her dad or she’d be on her own, you can only see anju and kafei’s wedding if you complete their quests then fight majora, if you don’t help romani defend the ranch she isn’t playing with her sister in the credits she’s just sat there
idk i just think it would be really neat if you finished the game and were suddenly hit by the realisation that that’s it, the cycles are over and your choices in that final go-through are how the characters will live the rest of their lives
and it would make you want to go back and play through again if you saw your favourite characters not having the happy ending they deserved
#majora’s mask#legend of zelda#loz#loz mm#this post sponsored by the final three days gang#do as many quests as you can and defeat the four bosses you monsters#there was a post i saw like last week about time cycles in video games and how you get complacent with violence and tragedy because it isn’#t permanent and it got me thinking bc it analysed time loops from a kill-heavy assassins style game whereas mm is much more of a help peopl#e game. and yet. you can’t do everything in one loop even after you’re able to skip through the temples to the boss room#and going through the game you know that. if you’re completing the great bay this cycle you don’t have time to go heal kotake or save the#monkey or unfreeze the goron’s on the mountain. and you can’t always remember/sacrifice those 3 hours to help romani#and you rationalise it as well they won’t matter when i play the song of time anyway. but wouldn’t it be a kick in the face if after you’ve#gotten into that mentality and you’ve collected all the masks but only once and you go defeat majora#and realise in the credits that romani was abducted by aliens. cremia has no money because her cows were stolen/milk was stolen by bandits.#the old lady won’t remember you saving her from the robbery on the first night and koume and kotake never met you. lulu won’t remember her#eggs being saved or the seahorses that you reunited them. you don’t have the top score on any of the carnival games.#link will remember because he lived through it but nobody in termina will remember his name aside from whoever you did help on your final#cycle. and idk i just think about that a lot

@wariodemambo AND @dayfourwmv want to see their respective pokémon teams!
Tumblr media
wario's team! actually a load of fun to make, especially with gholdengo and meowscarada being in g9.
Tumblr media
aaaaaaand ben's team! had a LOT of fun choosing pokémon based around the various masks in majora's mask because of course ben would build a team around his favorite game. plus i feel like he'd be friends with ogerpon?

If I were to make the next Zelda game, what would I change?
Bring back underwater traversal and real Water Temples.
If you were to think about any iconic Zelda item that isn't a weapon, you'd most likely think about the hook/clawshot. I like that we can climb, but I miss the claw/hookshot. Personally, I'd have the Skyward Sword climbing mechanics where you can climb a little bit but not much, but make it so that the hook/clawshot can go on any surface. Even better is a double claw/hookshot so you can swing around like Spider-Man
Linkle. That's right, from the original Hyrule Warriors spin-off game. It would be cool if we got to choose to play as Link or Linkle at the beginning of the game. Make it so that Link can't get into Gerudo Town without a disguise like in Breath of the Wild, but also make it so Linkle can't get into Goron City without a disguise, that way it's even and there's no major advantage.
If Linkle can't be an option, I'd have Link be a different race than Hylian. Tears of the Kingdom already teased us with this concept with the Ancient Hero. Before TotK, the closest we got was Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask Link who thought he was a Kokiri but found out that he was in fact Hylian and also had ghost masks to shapeshift into other races. (Or you could also add Linkle as this race too. But I think that's a bit much)
20 hearts OR harder enemies. With BotW, Link had 30 hearts. In literally every other Zelda game he had 20. With 30 hearts, it was a decent change in normal mode, but in Master Mode, it made it essential. Enemies did more damage and evolved from their normal mode counterparts. In TotK, Link has 40 hearts and no Master Mode. The enemies do basically the same damage as in BotW's normal mode and sometimes even far less with the decayed-unfused weapons. So I would make the series go back to 20 hearts or have Master Mode as the default difficulty.
A new fast travel system. Look, shrines were a good idea. Especially for a fast travel system, but if we're getting rid of the 10-20 extra hearts how I would do it, we need something else. For this, let's turn to Skyrim for just a second. The fast travel system there is broken because every cave, tower, dungeon, etc. is a fast travel point, but let's look at the towns/cities and important landmarks: they're fast travel points once we discover them. So let's turn those things into fast travel points in this hypothetical Zelda game. Now, what about the less significant parts of the map? Well, a few train stations around the map with a train. I mean, trains are in the Zelda universe. Spirit Tracks literally is about that, so it wouldn't be a big deal. I had this idea back in 2021, and now even fucking Fortnite has a train around a map with a few train stations in random spots.
This one will make a bit more sense if you read my "If I were to make a Zelda game, what would I keep?" post. Heart Pieces/Stamina pieces. You could go the normal route with 4 pieces makes a full thing or go Twilight Princess style with 5 pieces makes a full thing. These would probably be given as quest rewards in quests that are Side Adventures rather than Main Quests or Side Quests. Side quests would give you rupees or a rare item and Main Quests will give you more story progression.
Bring back the "one-and-done" races like the Kokiri, Twili, Minish, Zonai, Lokomo, etc.

There’s def a lot I wish to be in Tears of the Kingdom, especially things like regional/diverse enemies. But the thing I really wish to see is Link express negative emotions. And not just “he’s angry at fighting enemies” but rather he’s angry and tired and upset and confused at his situation. He has followed orders from the king the moment he touched the master sword as a CHILD. We don’t even know if he truly got to be a child because his whole life has been about duty. And I’m pretty sure in this timeline he was descended from the Hylian knights so who knows how long he’s been training to just be a standard knight before the master sword.
Link SHOULD be angry that he’s stuck in this cycle of rebirth. Even when he died, the fall of Hyrule was blamed on him and he didn’t even get to stay dead. He was woken up and had to finish his duties while also being constantly reminded that his death is what lead Hyrule to look like is does. He should be angry, angry at Ganon and Demise and at the Hylian Royalty for forcing him into this situation over and over and over.
And this is exactly why I hope TOTK is similar to Majora’s Mask. Not because Majora’s Mask was scary. But because it dealt with the grief and isolation and depression Link had to face after going through an incredible traumatic journey, and then losing all of his friends as a result. Most notably losing the ONE friend who was with him the entire time. Who completely understood everything Link went through because she experienced the same thing. And she was the entire reason Majora’s Mask even happened in the first place, because Link was desperately searching for Navi because he was scared to be alone. I want TOTK to explore these hard and brutal emotions for both Link and Zelda. I want them both to be scared, angry, and distraught. I want them to cry over themselves and be selfish. I want them to do something impactful that isn’t for the sake of Hyrule. I hope there’s conflict with the Goddess Hylia. I hope they reject her outstretched hand after she has burdened two children to sacrifice themselves for the good of Hyrule.
I want there to be a good resolution to TOTK. I want both Link and Zelda to choose their own path even if that means leaving Hyrule. But I want the path to resolution to be painful and really explore Link’s true emotions. He is stoic and mute because he is burdened with the weight of the world. What good is a knight who talks when he is judged based on his actions and ability to use a sword.
With Zelda’s warning that she thinks that even Link can’t succeed, I hope we do see helplessness in Link. Again to Majora’s Mask we did get to see Link helpless. He was transformed into a small Deku Scrub with no weapons, no horse, and was an outlier in a town filled with humans. But he learned to work through that helplessness. He embraced the spirit who had to give his life for Link to look the way he does and figure out new ways to fight and communicate. He later became grateful for the Zora and Goron who let him use their spirits to aide his journey. He was able to confront Majora’s because he was never truly alone. Everyone he’s ever met has given him strength even if they aren’t with him presently.
And that’s what I hope to see in Link in TOTK. A helplessness due to his isolated burden, faced against something he could never win against alone. And thankfully we did get that to an extent in BOTW with the champions and even Zelda. But even then, fighting the divine beasts was optional. Link in a sense could have faced Ganon alone. Hell people even fight Ganon with no clothes and only carrying sticks.
No, I want Link, even in the most powerful armor with the most powerful weapon, to be helpless. And I want him to be angry about it. And upset. And hurt. Because he has earned the right to express every painful emotion for his circumstance and he deserves to be able to express his frustration. It is okay if he isn’t the hero.

Hyrule's resting bitch face champion for three decades and counting.
@scopophobia-polaris asked for some more details on this silly guy and I needed to post the redesign of his scars so I'm gonna ramble!
General "rules" I am using for the Bad Moon AU:
-You cannot change the future. If you saw the future, it happens. Maybe not to you, but it happens. Time travel either involves splitting timelines, temporal loops (see the song of storms), or two extremely similar timelines that collapse together (a dumb child goes to the past to plant beans). What does this mean for Termina? OH GOD OH GOD WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TINY WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!
-If you turn into something, you will never entirely turn back.
-Two opposing wishes on the Tri Force will really fuck things up. Also, it happened. Bad Moon is about dealing with the fallout.
Tiny has a series of magic scars from his various transformations. Most of them are benign or beneficial due to Farore's blessing and the Fierce Deity's Mask's intervention, but not all. Believe it or not, this is me nerfing him, because I'm getting rid of all the Terminian masks except for the FD's mask, which gets broken.
-From the Deku mask he has ivy vines. Most are centered along his spine. He uses them to hold stuff. If he sleeps in fertile soil they will grow into the ground and he leaves weird plants that are sort of beholden to him all over the place. Gross. Anyways, remember how the Hero's Shade is covered in ivy? The "missing" eye is also more or less a Deku scrub's pitlike eye now, granting him low-light but otherwise mediocre vision in that eye.
-From the Goron mask he is disturbingly strong now. Most of Farore's blessed are pretty strong to begin with and now he's got Darmani's strength on top of that. His teeth are continuously growing and need to be worn down by grinding them on each other (because he's missing a tooth from that facial scar those teeth are maloccluded and grow all weird). It's definitely inspired by wrathful deity artwork though. He's also extremely resistant to heat. He got the white hair and scales on his shoulders/knees/elbows from Darmani too. Guess what part of his magic scarring the Hero of Twilight inherits!
-From the Zora mask he has some extremely strong scales on his forearms that can be used to defend himself. He can also make nasty electrical shocks, is very resistant to electrocution, is an extremely good swimmer (nowhere near as good as Mikau though), and can hold his breath for twenty minutes easily. His toes are webbed too.
-From the Giant's mask his height just kinda varies. His "true" height is over seven feet tall but it can vary between about 6"/15cm in either direction. He has some control over this but it's more related to his sense of security. He's at his smallest when he's the most insecure but like, that's still 6'10"/208 cm so he's still way too big. Lucky for him the magic also affects his clothes/armor but it takes some time so he just makes/buys things on the larger end and waits for them to shrink to his current size. The effect goes away when removed from his body. Is this so I don't have to be consistent? Yes.
-He turns into a puppy in the War of Eras when he's ten and Zant uses the twilight as a weapon. Specifically an epicyon puppy! A 100lb/45kg puppy! Medli will ride him! I just want to draw the biggest puppy in the world. He can still turn into the big ancient wolf, and thankfully it doesn't do too much to him (unlike Twilink) but his jaw attaches waaay further back than it ought to and he can open his mouth to a scary degree. It's probably influencing those big fangs too. Combined with the Goron bite strength and... yeah.
I'll probably change things because I'm just playing around with him, so don't be surprised when I do!

some random ideas for the totk rewritten project
krog (korok) seeds
i think i found a way to include krog seeds even if i reintroduced bags for expanding your inventory- what if the krog seeds are redeemed for the amiibo sets and maybe a few new things? that way you are not forced to engage with krog puzzles if you are tired of them and its not essential either, you can choose what armor set you want instead of being "surpised" by the same link hat three times in a row for fighting your way through the depths (like i was lol)
considering im rewriting the krog forest to be like a minidungeon with a unique miniboss and boss AND you start the quest for restoring the master sword there i think that this is acceptable
what if one of the expensive rewards was a krog armor set that includes the mask from the botw DLC but adds two more pieces, its effect could be to turn invisible as the krogs are to most people; considering how they are not invisible to everyone it could still work with important NPCs still seeing you AND you could run through monster camps without them chasing you if you just want to get through without you attacking them- since its expensive you gotta gather alot of krog seeds to buy it meaning it wouldnt make encounters much easier bc you have to fight alot of monsters before being able to afford it anyway and the effect is removed once you attack an enemy .... or maybe once you are spotted you can stand still and the effect restores itself nhfkjdnkjfdk
food + storage
to raise the difficulty a little i thought about bringing bottles back, they are physical items this time with a limited number and are able to store medicine and soup that has no expiration date; personally i like cooking tho so i want to keep it, maybe with the effect of being a bit more limited in number and, while not spoiling completely, it loses some of its effectiveness over time
how you use them im not yet sure, either the same way in inventory (which i think i will go for since i dont want to change it that drastically and with the added balance of limitation i think that is still fine) or on some kind of item wheel you can set yourself like in skyward sword
there are bags you can find as bigger items that will expand your weapon, shield or bow inventory slots, perhaps a small bag gives you one and a big one two slots- it would be a bigger and different reward for exploring or quests and fills the spot for inventory expansion
theres a chest in links house (i thought maybe links house is still links but they built onto it so zelda has a place to stay as well, like a bigger/double house) that can hold armor sets if you dont want to keep carrying all of them around but dont want to sell them either
repairable weapons through zelda
weapons still break but are full weapons again, i found the excuse of them all being useless now through the cataclysm ... somehow for some reason a pretty blatant way for forcing you to fuse stuff bc its literally the only viable thing to do, but i like the idea of inventing new weapons with materials; to balance it out and give you an incentive to help out your friends i figured that at first weapons still break, but in each region is a smith that can teach zelda (who is your companion in this rewrite) how to repair weapons of a certain type (zora, spear, goron, two handed, rito, bows, gerudo, one handed-- perhaps it is a longer quest of idk .. bringing certain weapons to those smith or similar) which she can do anywhere outside combat;
how broken the weapon is determines how much extra material she may need to do it- im still working on it but i got the idea of the status of the weapon being symbolized in three stages, fine, damaged and broken; damaged is the one that needs less material to fix up, broken costs more- a broken one might still occupy an inventory slot but is unusable or very very bad damage wise, you can throw it away either manually or when you try to pick up a new one you can choose if you want to swap it out (just like they did with stuff from chests in totk .. idk why they didnt add that to in game weapons lying on the ground too) or choose to keep it and repair it once you are out of combat
arrow types
i dont like the menuing in totk for the arrows ... it was one of the most frustrating things to deal with (especialyl bc it sorted your inventory too??? when you used the sorting in the quick menu???) so i wanted to change that a little, havign to go into the quick menu everytime for each arrow i find tedious too, so;
there are more arrow types but they are craftable with arrows and materials, you can craft them in bulk out of combat (the typical types from botw -fire,eletric,ice,bombs- but then add those confusion ones, wind, the cloudy shroom thingy, poison .. perhaps a few more if i can think of more but not too mayn to not clutter it again)
enigma stones function
i wanted to change how enigma stones function somewhat, they dont "enhance" the ability of the champion/sage (i still wanna call them chmapions bc thats what they areeeee) it allows them to link an ability of theirs to link without the orginal champion having to be present or dead, the stones come in set of two each and function somewhat like a magic communication between the player and the champion, once you obtain the second piece its embedded into links shiekah arm prosthetic (also something of my rewrite) and allow him to call upon their ability at will through a second selection wheel
ranch ruins
the ranch ruins i wanted to be rebuild (bc thats cool and i thought restoration was a theme? lol) and maybe you help rebuild it proper and as thanks you can put your horses there to roam around all at once when not taken out to ride, not a big gameplay thing but a neat quest with a rebuilding thing of a building we havent seen in its prime and a neat addition of letting you see all your horsies at once :)
(totk rewritten project)

LU Pokémon AU - The Link’s Types and General LoZ Types
To preface this, this is all made up and generally not canon to the actual Pokémon universe. But humans are canonically Pokémon, so they are likely to have Pokémon types. Before we takle the Links, let’s explain how things generally work in this AU.
All humans (yes, Hylians-and Gerudos-are humans too) are generally Normal types. Occasionally, humans are able to gain a secondary type, think about those Psychic type trainers who have psychic powers. Those trainers are Normal Psychic types, and the Normal type being first is important, because if it isn’t first, then they are no longer a human. Sheikah aren’t humans, despite trying to appear so. They are Fairy Dark type, but try to-and have successfully as of BotW/TotK-pass themselves off as Normal Dark type. Dark does not always necessitate being evil.
Naturally, humans typically gain either a Psychic or Fighting secondary type, although gaining a secondary type is still very rare, and is an ability unique to humans. Zora, Rito, and Gorons can’t gain a secondary type like how humans do. Zora are Water Fighting type, Rito are Flying Fighting type, and Gorons are Rock Ground type.
To gain a secondary Psychic or Fighting type, a human must devote themselves to learning the type’s moves with the help of actual Psychic or Fighting Pokémon. It is a hard, and challenging process, and yet almost all Gerudos are naturally Normal Fighting types due to how many Gerudos in the past gained a Fighting type despite the tedious process. Urbosa and Riju are Normal Electric type. Ganon typically gains a secondary Dark type, but when he’s pig Ganon he’s mono Dark type, since he’s no longer human. Few humans can also be born with a secondary Psychic type as well, although it’s a rare occurrence.
The Zeldas are all Normal Fairy types thanks to Hylia, who was a Fairy Dragon type. Post-TotK Zelda is instead a Normal Dragon type, and was a Dragon Fairy type while in dragon form.
Now onto the main course, the Links. Here is a list of the different types the Link have and explanations for them:
Wild - Normal Ghost - After coming back to life after 100 years, he gained a secondary Ghost type. He also gained the powers of his fellow champions from their spirits, which further cemented the secondary Ghost type he has. If he didn’t gain their powers, the Ghost type would have gradually faded away and he would’ve went back to being a mono Normal type. Once the other Links learn about this, they would be very concerned.
Twilight - Normal Dark - After getting turned into a Dusk Lycanroc with the use of Twili magic, he got slapped with a permanent Dark type. His Lycanroc form is also a Rock Dark type instead of a mono Rock type because of this.
Legend - Normal - Arceus himself made sure that he stayed a mono Normal type, and that he can’t learn any moves without the use of items, this Link is powerful enough.
Hyrule - Normal Fairy - This Link is very adept at learning different moves. Just learning different move types doesn’t give you a new type however, he only got this type after learning how to transform into a fairy. Using this transformation power enough times had made the secondary type permanent.
Four - Normal Fairy - The Minish are Fairy Normal types, and instead of just shrinking down to their size, Four was able to transform into a Minish. Like with Hyrule, using this power enough times had slapped him with a permanent secondary Fairy type.
Time - Normal Fairy - I realize how many Links have this type. However, he gained this type from the incident with the Fierce Deity mask. Each of his transformation masks changes his type: Deku Mask - Grass Ghost | Zora Mask - Water Ghost | Goron Mask - Rock Ghost | Fierce Deity Mask - Fairy Ghost | You can guess why they all have a secondary Ghost type.
Warriors - Normal - He’s just some guy man. He wishes he had a secondary Fairy type, he loves fairies.
Sky - Normal - Just because he can fly with a giant bird, doesn’t mean he suddenly gets a secondary Flying type. He can’t fly by himself. He’s just some guy.
Wind - Normal - No he isn’t a Water type, but he is on his way to becoming Normal Psychic soon, even if he doesn’t really know that yet.
Here’s some other Links that are not really in LU or are not the main 9 Links:
Spirit - Normal Psychic - He didn’t die or get separated from his body like his Zelda, who is a Normal Ghost type, but he can see spirits better than the normal person, so he gets a secondary Psychic type, which he was actually born with.
First Hero - Normal Fairy - He got blessed by Hylia. That’s it.
Green, Red, Blue and Vio - They all get different secondary types because of the 4sword, with Green, Red, and Blue having Grass, Fire, and Water types respectively. This stays the same no matter who uses the blade. Vio, and any other fourth color gains a type that matches the emotion/mental state/whatever that color represents the most. So of course Vio is Normal Psychic, since he is the brains of the 4.
Ravio - Normal Psychic - Like most Lorians(is that what they’re called?), he’s Normal Psychic type, because unlike Hylians, the people of Lorule usually are born with a secondary Psychic typing. Ravio usually uses just his psychic powers to communicate with Sheerow easier. Sheerow is also a Pokémon, Flying Psychic type.
Linkle - Normal - She is very close to gaining a secondary Fighting type. With just a bit more training, she’ll finally get STAB on her Low Kicks.
Dark Link and Shadow Link - These two are different beings. Dark Links are mono Dark while Shadow Links are Dark Ghost.
That’s all I have for now, but if you have any other questions regarding this AU, please ask! I have done and am still doing a lot of world building, it’s so fun!

Two things about Finding Family I've been thinking about!
1. Does Mask!Wild have the same "mini-Grace" ability that Aspect!Wild does? Because now I'm imagining the Chain eulogizing about him and how sad they are he died and he wakes up in the middle of it hearing all these people talk about how cool he is.
2. Semi-related to the above, how did the Champions react to seeing him after he freed the Divine Beasts? Daruk's reaction is probably obvious ("if I were not extremely dead and also a ghost I'd give you a big hug"), but the others are a bit of a mystery to me.
Okay so - putting this under the cut because it’s long and also mind the tags
1-
👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
Maybe
Maybe he knows this
Maybe he leans on it instead of healing and just… doesn’t tell the chain
Maybe he doesn’t want to bother them cause he knows he’ll get better.
There will be a healing related section coming up but all of this will be inferred rather than direct cause I don’t want to go too into it but
👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
2 - OOFT okay. So.
They were probably all SHOCKED to see him so changed but all showed it differently. They all cared, of course.
Mipha- so. So. Soft. So gentle. So kind. Maybe too kind? Not her fault, the Bean just isn’t used to that amount of tenderness. He definitely cried a lot. But then, he cries a lot anyway. Mipha probably got him a drink of water. She promised she’d always be there for him. He cried again.
Daruk- okay so he’s a goron and I’m not sure he’d totally get it at first? Like he’d see the mask and be like ‘oh your silly hylian fashions!’ And when he realised that Wild was badly scarred he still might not fully get it. Gorons are made of rock, after all. It’s very different. But the fact that his Little Guy was hurting would be hard to accept and he’d be extremely positive.
He might get a laugh out of Wild.
Revali- bless this little shit, he would see, feel terrible for his friend, and go about comforting him in the most revali way possible. He’d 99% pretend it wasn’t a thing and cheerfully rag on his archery skills. Then when that didn’t work he’d go on a rage talking about how anyone who didn’t respect Wild deserved death. After all, Wild was the second greatest archer in history! After Revali Ofc
Wild definitely cries. Revali is LOST.
Urbosa- gives wild BIG hugs and also talks about all the different ways she could re-kill Rhoam. She gets both tears and laughter.

i made a bunch of pfps of my majoras mask designs for a wack ass DnD homebrew campaign. feel free to use em as long as u give credit <3
here are the design explanations!! because ive never posted the mask designs before!! sorry if this post is disorganized im in the process of. Exploding.
link design notes: only thing i added is a white streak to the hair because im a firm believer in stress changed hair color
deku link: other deku’s have leaf hair. so deku link has leaf hair
zora link: mikau had sick ass tattoos. shoulda kept em. also i made zora link look more like modern day zora’s
goron link: again, sick tattoos. also made em kinda lizard-y. more rocky. i like to think gorons just look like rocks if they curl up into a ball so they got a rocky back… i guess i kinda picture gorons as weird rocky lizard hedgehogs
Ok. That’s all. Feel free to use the designs and pfp’s. Fierce Deity tomorrow. hhguugg

Fierce Deity AU
Tumblr media
masterlist
I had a brainrot for Fierce Deity and I just have to get it down and plan some of the headcanons and his storyline out!
"Fierce Warrior is his title before he was gifted the power of destruction and balance by the Golden Goddesses in hopes to finally defeat the mance, Majora who was once a powerful deity of chaos and order...until he fell from his rightful ways due to greed and lust for power."
This was basically the start of my idea after seeing an artwork made by @st-hedge of Fierce's back and from there, it just rolled with me and inspired me even further, coming up with whole new monsters seeing this is way before demise and some comic scenes! Even little comics for when Fierce joins Linked Universe in another storyline, a storyline where he became a normal, blind Sheikah again after sealing away Majora into a mask he created from the remains of the Deku Tree Majora had killed. An au to my storyline where Fierce married the love of his life (who he found greatly annoying at first) and then discovered a portal, walking through it after some investigation and studying...only to land up far, far into the future...with his predecessors.
Fierce is the great, great grandfather of the first Link, therefore his closest relations in the linked universe series are: sky and four (in that order).
And in my story idea, Rauru isn't the first King of Hyrule, only the first written King after many years where in my idea, Hyrule fell apart after Fierce sealed away Majora because of the war between the Sheikah and the royals and the wanting to overthrow them until eventually it became catastrophic...and there was no triforce yet, no Zelda or Link, just hylians and some humans...no Zora nor Gorons. Just war and greed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
sketch idea for linked universe Fierce.
I like to think that Sky's family tree and his ancestors got their woodworking skills and natural love for it from Fierce while Four's grandfather and family (including Four), got that from Fierce as well and it had skipped some generations too.
Fierce is extremely loyal to his beliefs and is extremely skilled in the shadow magic which was lost after a few centuries due to no one practicing it, the first Link's blonde locks coming from his father after the whiteness of Fierce's hair was lost along with the Sheikah blood further down...his story a tragedy yet in linked universe, it has a happy ending.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fierce's facial design for linked universe, his turtle neck up to his jaw unlike his original one.
I don't want to spoil anymore, but I plan to make some more sketches and designs of him before he became a deity and for Linked Universe au fanfic of him with the group! I hope you enjoyed this little idea of mine, I have a lot written down for it, but I won't go into too much detail now!
Until the next post for Fierce's au story!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just a lil comic scene of Fierce woodcarving and getting interrupted by the chain as he fixes Hyrule's recorder but only to be distracted by the sound of the chain doing shenanigans~

Child of Mine
The children of one of the Champions look suspiciously like the Hero of Hyrule aka Harwin Strong and Rhaenyra from HOTD minus the death
TW: childbirth, pain of childbirth and blood
Also just for clarity:
Alec- oldest (your hair colour + blue eyes), Lenor- middle (blond + blue eyes but looks like you)
Jace- youngest (looks like a mix between both you and Link)
Part2
Tumblr media
The sounds of a crying newborn filled the room which was previously filled with the sounds of screaming, crying and cursing from a certain Champion,” It’s a boy. Hylia bless the mother” a nurse said handing you the newborn, tears of joy began rolling down your sweaty cheeks,” Is he healthy?”,” Kicking like a horse, my lady” the nurse said with a smile, you giggled and pressed your lips against his small head, the baby snuggled into your embrace,” Lady y/n, the Queen wants to see the baby” a maid said, it was Zelda’s personal maid, you didn’t say anything but just pulled the blanket closer over your son before you slowly got up with the help of the nurses and maids,” I will take him myself than” you said closing your eyes as you felt a sting of pain flow through your body and blood flow down your legs,” You should remain in bed, my Lady. The Queen wouldn’t want you in any pain” the maid said trying to get you back down on the bed,” Get me dressed” you said ignoring what she said previously. You sighed in pain as they began dressing you, the baby in your arms seemed to have fallen asleep but it didn’t last long as you had to hand the baby over so you could be dressed probably, the second the baby left your arms, his cries began to fill the room again making your heart clench.
“How much do you wanna bet that the child was born with suspicious golden hair or brilliantly blue eyes?” Teba asked playing with his bow,” Shh” Yunbo said nervously looking around for either the Queen or her loyal knight,” Why? We can all see it, well all besides our Queen and that husband of hers” Teba continued,” Are you sure that Master Link is the father? Lady Y/N, the husband is a Sheikah, isn’t there a small possibility -”,” How does a white-haired man with red eyes and a woman with h/c and e/c make children with golden blond hair and brilliant blue eyes, Mmmh?” Teba cut the young Goron off,” You might be a Champion but your words still will be seen as treason,” Riju said making the Rito roll his eyes,” I am just being truthful”l,” Nature works in mysterious ways, my friend”, Sidon reasoned”,” I don’t care if Link is the father but I doubt the Sheikah’s would like someone being their chief with no blood connection to them” Teba shrugged, soon Zelda entered the room ending the questioning of your children parentage.” Did the maid bring the baby yet?” Zelda asked hopeful, just at this moment you walked in with the baby in your arms, and your husband Priven who was at your side helping you walk,” Y/N, why are you walking? You need to be in bed” Zelda gasped,” You wanted to see the baby” you said with a fake smile trying to mask the pain,” I didn’t expect you to bring the child, I should have come to you” she said with a sigh,” Here sit” she said helping you sit down,” He looks so cute” Zelda smiled peaking down at the child,” The two of you must be happy, he kind of looks like you Lord Priven” she said looking between you and your husband who smiled widely, you looked Priven up and down before giving a fake smile,” Can I hold him?” you nodded, Zelda smiled when you handed her the newborn, a small cry left the boy but he settled in quickly in the arms of the Queen,” Do you have a name?” she asked,” No-“,” Jace” your husband said cutting you off, you gave him an annoyed look,” An unusual name for a Sheikah?” Teba said gaining an elbow in the ribs from Riju,” How would you know? You aren’t Sheikah after all” she lifted a brow making the white Rite grumble” Did the birth go alright,” Riju then asked sitting down beside you,” I called the midwife a cunt, so all went well” you smiled,” If you're in much pain, I could try to heal you,” Sidon said,” I have been practising” he added, you gave him a smile,” I should be fine Sidon, he isn’t my first child, but thank you. Talking about children where are my other sons?”,”They’re with Link in their chambers” Zelda said cooing at the baby in her arms,” One day you might get a baby which will actually look like you?” Teba commented looking at the child and back at Priven, who nodded with a tight-lipped smile, you send the large bird a glare before looking at Zelda who didn’t seem to hear the comment,” We should see the children, they probably want to meet their baby brother” you said slowly getting up with the help of Riju and Sidon.
Link meanwhile watched the two boys playing with their toys with a fond smile,” Master Link, do you believe we get another brother?” the former youngest of your sons asked, his striking blue eyes staring into Link’s,” There is a possibility” he said ruffling his blond locks. The door swung open revelling you and your husband,” Mom, Dad look what we made for the baby” Alec your oldest said,” Purah helped us make it” Lenor said holding up the egg,” It’s a Sheikah egg” he added,” I let Lenor choose the design” Alec said making you ruffle his hair which was identical to yours,” That’s very sweet of you” you said sitting down in the couch,” How was the birth?” Link asked,” Painful like the others but it was worth it,” you said smiling down at the boy,” Have a name in place already?” you hummed,” My dear husband has,” you said looking up at the Sheikah male,” Jace” he smiled happily making Link nod,” Would it be alright for me to hold him?” Link said his eyes lingering on the sleeping baby in your arms,” Of course, come on boys. Let’s give some privacy to your mother and the baby. Sidon is still here if you’re fast enough you might still catch him” he said making the two boys faces light up with happiness and making them speed out the room. The Sheikah male turned to you and Link, he gave you a nod and a small smile before walking out of the room. Once they were gone you handed Link the baby,” He looks like a good mix from the both of us” you whispered, making Link blush and nod,” Hey, don’t sleep in front of Hyrule’s Knight Commander” Link said to sleep child making you chuckle, Link gently stroked the babies soft cheek with his thump,” It gets harder every time I see you guys, seeing the boys, how they carry some of my features but knowing that they never call me what they call your husband” he said looking down at Jace who was snoring softly. You sighed, you loved Link and he loves you back, but Link was the hero of Hyrule, his purpose was to protect the goddess descended and defeat the evil, this doesn’t leave much space for a wife and kids, doesn’t matter how much Link wants to, he doesn’t want his family to live in constant danger. So when Impa proposed a marriage between her grandchildren and one of the Champion it seemed like a gift, as the Priven who was the oldest of her Grandchildren, seemed to have little interest in you, so he agreed to the bargain of Link fathering the children and he just have to keep up the good husband and loving father front with you as his loyal wife, but another promise of never telling the children about their actual father was also put in place, something Link thought would be okay for him, as it was for their own safety but he never thought that it would hurt so much seeing his boys call someone else father,” Once the Sheikah elders find out it’s over for us...me” you said rubbing your now empty belly,” I hate to say it to you but the Sheikah’s are already talking” you bit your lip at Link’s words,” I know, so are our fellow Champion’s and your fellow knights, some are nicer than the others” you confessed,” Tell me who they are and I make sure they regret it” Link said with narrowed eyes,” Don’t, it will only bring more suspicion on you” you caressed his face gently,” I love you Link”,”I love you y/n” he said gently kissing you.
The door swung open revealing Zelda, the two of you jumped apart” Isn’t he the cutest?” Zelda asked Link plopping down beside him,” I don’t know how you do it y/n, 3 children. Maybe one day I can experience this as well” she said looking at the baby in her friend's arms blissfully unaware of the situation.” Zelda? Have you heard any rumours about my son’s parentage?” you asked as Link’s eyes widened,” Yes, but do not worry anyone who dares to spread those lies while punished” Zelda said firmly looking at you,” Thank you” you said trying to avoid her gaze.
“Lady Impa, news from the castle. Lady y/n gave birth to another boy” a messenger said,” Another boy, how wonderful” Impa said,” Those this message state a certain resemblance to the hero of Hyrule?” Robbie hummed making Impa shoot him a look,” Robbie please”, Robbie shrugged,” We all know it’s true. I love those kids but they aren’t Sheikah”,” Be careful my friend, these words can be seen as treason and the Queen won’t be kind on those who question the children’s parentage” Symin, Purah’s assistant said,” Not only that but blood doesn’t make family, love does and my grandson loves those boys to bits” Impa said,” Tell that to the other elder’s, they won’t see it as you do Impa” Robbie said making Impa sigh,” Your right but I am the Village main elder, so they will have to suck it up like the younglings say”.
Link walked outside the Castle, the boys were currently training with a fellow knight, a knight who doesn’t seem to like Link in the slightest,” Hello Commander” he said with a smirk,” Hello, how is the training going?” Link asked folding his arms over his chest,” Those boys are sloppy, which is surprising for having two- I mean one parent who is a Champion and another as Sheikah” he said making Link bit the inside of his cheek,” Well they are quite young, give them time” Link said,” Yeah, it’s just surprising, as you were besting soldier at their age and even pulled that fancy sword” he shrugged,” What do I have to do with it?”Link lifted a brow,” Oh nothing Commander, just because you put some much effort into their sword training and it’s not even showing progress” he said,” How I said they’re doing fine” Link said when suddenly Alec crashed to the ground, a small whimper leaving his mouth,” Alec, are you alright?” Link asked helping him up,” Yeah, I am fine Master Link,” he said dusting the dirt off his clothes, Link nodded and picked up the wooden sword he dropped,” Commander you need to stop babying them. If you want them to be like you, like father and-”,” Finish that sentence and you be done for” Link snapped,” Why? It was just a metaphor. It’s rare to see someone put so much effort into a child, usually, we see this kind of care only for family” he smirked. Link clenched his jaw, his fist tightening around the wooden sword. The Knight was about to say something when a familiar voice cut him off,” Link, may I speak to you?” Zelda said sternly, Link nodded and shoved the wooden sword into the knight's chest.
“Are you the father of y/n children? Tell me the truth” Zelda began as the two friends entered her chambers,” No-”,” Don’t lie to me, please, aren’t we friend?” she said softly. Linked hummed,” What gave it away?”,” Your reaction to the Knights' teasing. You usually don’t care about rumours, you brush them off like it’s nothing but all of a sudden this rumour made you nearly punch one of your knights”,” It’s a rumour about my honour, of course-”,” There were rumours about us being lovers, that you and Mipha were secretly married even though it was against her father wishes. These were rumours which could have damaged your honour as well but you didn’t care” Link sighed again,” I love her Zelda, and I love my boys. I don’t regret anything” he admitted,” Then why didn’t you say anything. I would have wedded the two of you in seconds” she sighed in frustration,” It’s not that. I’m the Hero of Hyrule, I have so many enemies. If they find out that y/n is my heart and that her boys were fathered by me, people will come after them. I couldn’t live with myself if they died or even got hurt because of me. Having Impa’s Grandson as a father to them is safe, no one would dare touch them, as in their eyes they can’t prove that I am the father of them. Blond hair isn’t evidenced enough when the father is white-haired” Link said making Zelda nod,” I understand, I won’t tell anyone but please, stop having kids. You two are walking a very fine line here” Zelda warned Link, nodded knowing she is right,” I thought I was going crazy, I know nature works in mysterious ways but when I see one of the boys they always reminded me of you somehow, either in personality or looks, but now I am glad that I am not crazy” she joked lightening the mood,” They got some of my features, yeah but they mostly take after their mother” Link nodded,” Thankfully, as a few similarities to you can be explained away but a child which looks like you exactly will be impossible-”,” I know” Link cut her off.
Zelda watched as your boys were saying their goodbyes to the other Champions, mostly to Sidon, who the boys adore and vice versa. Alec's blond looks glisten in the sun, identical to her knight,” You called for me?” your voice said from behind her,” I’m sorry for disturbing you, but I wanted to talk to you” Zelda said helping you sit down,” It’s fine the baby is sleeping” you smiled,” I know about you and Link” Zelda said directly making your smile drop,” I don’t-“,” Y/N, please don’t lie” you looked at your lap,” I’m so sorry” you whispered, Zelda sighed and grabbed your hand, giving them a squeeze,” It’s fine, I just feel so stupid that I didn’t see it from the beginning” she scoffed with a smile,” Maybe it’s a good thing?” you said softly making her nod,” Hopefully not many people will continue to see the resemblance” she gave your hand another squeeze,” I love your children very much, and I will do whatever is in my power to make sure they are safe” you placed your other hand on top of hers and gave a grateful smile,” Thank you”. The door suddenly swung open revealing Link,” The Yiga clan, they have attacked Lord Priven on his way to the Sheikah Village” Link said, you gasped and Zelda’s eyes widened,” Do the boys-”,” No, they aren’t aware of this, yet” Link answered you,” How is his condition?” Zelda asked,” Impa message said it was critical, they will try everything in their power to bring him back to health” Link said,” Why was he attacked? The Yiga never posted a problem to him... us” Link sighed,” I wish I knew, but until your husband recovered we will not know” Link said softly,” Link, make sure the Champion’s don’t leave and when they have sent a messenger for them to turn back. I have a feeling this attack has something bigger in mind” Zelda said getting up and folding her hands together, Link nodded, his gaze was fixed on you who was staring into the ground.”I leave the two of you” she said walking past Link, she patted his shoulder before leaving her room.
“Is it our fault? Did the Yiga clan find out about us? Is that their way of telling us?” you said, Link sat down beside you, grabbed your hand and placed a gentle kiss on your knuckles,” Don’t blame yourself, my love, Priven was the grandson of Impa, they might have targeted him for this” Link said, “ After 25 years? He never was attacked by a Yiga member, not even once. People have been whispering about our children for years, maybe it has been to a larger extent than we thought” Link didn't answer, knowing that you are probably right. He wrapped his arm around your body and pulled you closer to his,” Whatever will happen, I will protect you and the boys, even if it means dying” Link said cupping your chin and looking into your eyes, which had tears building in them,” I never felt so scared Link, if something happens to them-”,” I won’t let that happen. You and the boys are my worlds, and I rather see Hyrule burn down than see you or the boys hurt” you smiled sadly at him,” If Hyrule burned down we wouldn't have a place to live, so you better not let this burn down” you joked making Link chuckle, you kissed his lips,” You need to go, I will be fine. I’m just a little bit useless right now” you said,” You gave birth a few hours ago, you are allowed to be” he said getting up.

Which Link would most likely win the Hunger Games?
This has probably already been done but regardless we're still gonna do it! Anyways, we are ignoring the canon age limits for the games so hear me out, I know the obvious answer is probably Wild but consider the many other strengths, advantages, and strategies the other Links could utilize when all fighting against each other. Any magical abilities or items involving time travel are banned however cause that's CHEATING.
Time - One word. MASKS. He’s got 3 masks that change his form giving him an advantage in various settings. Deku mask for the sky/forest, Goron for the mountains and volcanoes, and Zora for the water. There are also the Stone and All-night masks to consider especially in these circumstances. And of course there’s the Fierce Deity mask which would be great for taking out other tributes but be honest, do you REALLLLY think Time could or would use it against any of his boys?
Twilight - I’ll be honest he doesn’t have a lot going for him weapons wise but he DOES have sheer brute strength and his ability to turn into Wolfie. He can easily track other tributes before they find him and sneak up on them in wolf form since most won’t consider their enemy coming in the form of a wolf. Plus, he doesn’t really have disadvantages terrain wise and fellow animals will likely like him and be willing to help him which is a win.
Sky - Remember y’all this man is a GOD KILLER so he will not be afraid to do what needs to be done. Plus he’s got Skyward Strikes for dayyyyyys and he’s definitely got an advantage in terrains that require battles in the sky or that take place on high ground. Not only that, he’s the best swordsman in the group so that is something to consider. However his stamina does leave something to be desired.
Warriors - This man doesn’t really have any special weapons other than his sword and fire rod but what he DOES have is his charisma and military leadership experience. In the famous words of Haymitch, “When you’re in the middle of the Games and you’re starving or freezing, some water, a knife, or even some matches can mean the difference between life and death. And those things only come from sponsors.” Warriors has a lot of experience rallying and leading armies so I believe he would be able to form alliances among tributes and lead them accordingly. Not only that, but you cannot convince me he wouldn’t have the Capitol completely wrapped around his finger and be able to get sponsors left and right.
Legend - Jesus Christ what DOESN'T this guy have? He's got everything from weapons to rings to magic to all boost his chances for survival. Not only that, but he's also got experience to back up his crazy arsenal. You wanna know what he doesn't have though? A good personality. This man would probably make the Capitol HATE him within the first five minutes of meeting him, and everyone knows how the Capitol reacts to people who disobey and rebel against them. So while he himself may not have many disadvantages, the Capitol itself would likely be his biggest enemy.
Hyrule - Listen, Hyrule may not have any fancy sword fighting techniques but he is damn good at magic and I believe that that skill alone would be a massive advantage. Especially when you consider how he could use his healing magic to cure himself and allies which is something no one else would really be able to do without aid from sponsors. On top of that, his ability to turn into a fairy could make hiding from other tributes easier. Plus, his Hyrule (pun intended) is likely just as bad as any Hunger Games setting poison/toxins wise so he already has a lot of experience surviving in environments whose sole goal is to try to kill you.
Wild - Oh boy, it's the man the myth the semi-feral king of survival himself! Whatever survival skill it may be Wild has got it and is simply there to have a good bad time! This guy is a master of just about every weapon out there in addition to being able to run like mad and climb entire cliffs in seconds. Wild also has the ability to scavenge and cook food from what he finds and brew potions that boost his physical state in various ways. That is of course assuming he can find a cooking pot AND that the smoke/fire won't draw the attention of other tributes. However, I believe his biggest weakness would be his inability to NOT break every single weapon he finds. Fighting the literal calamity with nothing but a tree branch and a pot lid may have worked at the time, but fighting fellow incarnations of the Hero who all have similar skill sets and abilities is another story.
Four - I honestly think that Four could win the Games mainly because nobody could find him for the vast majority of it. Like, he could easily pull a Lucy Gray Baird and just shrink into a Minish and wait out the majority of the games. But in the case that he IS discovered or when the others have killed each other off, there are very few people know about Four's ability to split into four people and so he could easily split and perform a surprise attack of sorts and strike as four people rather than the expected one. His biggest disadvantage however, is his small size and any sort of intense weather. Opponents larger and stronger than him could likely overpower him and any rain or dramatic weather could be dangerous as a Minish.
Wind - I swear this kid runs on spite and sheer stubborn determination most days. This kid forcibly dragged the Triforce from the bottom of the ocean and stabbed the King of Evil in the head as a child do you really think he'd die easily in the Hunger Games? Anyways, I would say weapons wise Wind's greatest advantage is his fire, ice, and light arrows. While they do take magic, getting hit by any of those arrows would cause major damage if not instant death for any opponent. In addition to that, he would have a great advantage in any water-based terrain and his ability to manipulate the wind could be used in a number of circumstances as well. However, while he is very strong due to his power bracelets, his shorter physical stature would still likely put him at a disadvantage against larger opponents.

A little gift for you :) (sorry if the characterization is wrong)
Sky is sitting in the grass, admiring the flowers--er no weeds Wild called them, and taking in the breezy air. It's quiet, no monsters snorting and yelling, no Hylians talking, laughing, or shouting. Just the chosen's breathing and the wind rustling the blades of grass. His thoughts trail from the weeds to the chain.
There's Time with his great leader skills, a familiar friend to the skyloftian. The others often joke about Sky and Time being the parents of the chain (Platonically of course). Sky finds that the old man’s stoic facade was a mask, worn to hide his hurt. Time hasn't revealed everything of course, but Sky knows enough to see a traumatized child underneath all of the masks Time decides to wear.
There's Four, who's eyes flicker with different colours seemingly all the time. Icy blue often represents his fierceness and temper, amber red represents his tears and smiles and innocent looks. Deep purple, almost violet represents his focus, intelligence, and calculating decisions, and then forest green represents unity. Sky finds he's quite curious with all this, but he knows not to ask. Instead, the chosen takes to learning what to say and do when the smithy needs help.
There's Twilight, with his incredible strength, and friendly persona. He often scolds the champion or the sailor, or just sighs and says he's getting grey hairs. Sky has seen the ranch hand throw enemies across the battlefield, lift things that should be impossible to lift, and he even said he defeated a Goron in a wrestling match. But, a look from Time can make Twilight shrink, and stay quiet. Sky thinks-no he knows Twilight and Time must have some history. Especially since the rancher often tries to imitate the old man's looks.
There's Wind, the kid who wears his heart on his sleeve. He'll cuss even when he's told not to, he claims he's a pirate. The chain tend to "baby" him the most. Sky knows he does it too. Don't get him wrong, the sailor is very capable of fighting and staying alive in deadly situations, and he thinks the others know that too. But, the thought of losing a child to this adventure...even letting the kid get huge scars makes Sky's stomach churn. The sailor's said he's been on two adventures, one with the aid of a talking boat and the other with the aid of a fairy and another pirate. Sky actually likes to hear the kid tell these detailed stories about his adventures. (Only he avoids the gruesome parts)
There's Legend, the veteran hero who wields many many tools and uses his experience with ease. The vet has been on six adventures after all. Legend had been a mystery for awhile, but Sky had managed to change that. He found that under some of his sharp retorts and bickering was an attempt to balance things, and to hide his vulnerability. Sometimes to make the heroes laugh, or to keep them in line. The skyloftian also likes to cuddle with him. Yes, cuddling, he likes that a lot.
There's Hyrule, the sassy but cautious traveller. From what Sky's heard, his Hyrule is barren, and his life has been spent, constantly trying to survive. At first, the traveller was nervous and wary of everyone, but after a bit of time together he relaxed more and began to trust them. Sky has never really been close with him, but they share a small bond.
There's Warriors, the captain. He can go from being stern and on captain-mode, to being a goofy older brother who will happily tease his siblings. Sky had found out that he has a lot of trauma from a war, and has been betrayed by some of the people who he had trusted. But, as the group became closer, the captain found more confidence that these heroes would not betray him and he become more of a brother than a captain.
There's Wild, the feral champion who cooks most of their meals. The cook has explained where he got his scars from, why he gets memories from time to time, and why there are ruins in his Hyrule. But even despite that all, he'll eat mysterious mushrooms off the ground, go exploring without a map or a plan, and rush into battle a bit recklessly. Sky can only imagine how many grey hairs Wild's given Twilight and Time. But the cook is quite intelligent with survival skills, and he's so good with a bow, almost never missing his targets.
At the beginning of this adventure, Sky was dreading the entire thing, so sad to be away from the love of his life, his childhood friend, Zelda. Or rather Sun now, he supposes. And sure he’s ended up missing her dearly, playing his harp in melancholy, but it wasn’t as bad as he had originally thought.
"Sky, Sky!" Wind yells, startling the chosen out of his trail of thoughts.
"What is it?" Sky asks, turning around to face the sailor with a smile.
"We're playing a card game, but we need more people! Can you join?" Wind says, grinning.
"Sure."

Not my boy
Yunobo x reader
Warnings! Mention of drugs? (Like... Marbled Rock Roast), Yunobo wearing mask, a little rude Yuno, totk spoilers
I think that's all! Enjoy!
You ran home as fast as you could, wanting to snuggle up to your goron boyfriend as soon as possible. You've missed Yunobo incredibly, your kind, gentle goron.
You've been gone for a long time. The journey to your native village to your family took longer then you thought it would and when you came back you didn't understand anything. You got that something was wrong when, in the middle of the day, during working hours, one of the gorons was sitting on the ground. His eyes are red, and he keeps himself sitting only with help of the wall behind him. He didn't respond to your attempts to talk to him, so you decided to run to the city and call for help.
Goron City didn't look good either. Everyone is tired-lookig, and Bludo you met on the way only got worse with his back.
Old Goron just explained what happened. He told about new version of Rock Roast, about how the behavior of the Gorons has changed and about what happened to Yunobo.
Yunobo is the kindest and most sympathetic goron you've ever known. Your dear boyfriend. But the way Bludo described him doesn't look like him at all... rude, loud, boorish... This is not your Yunobo. Bludo also mentioned something about a mask...
"Try to talk to him. Maybe he'll listen to you..."
The old goron said with a heavy sigh.
And you immediately went to him, to the mine where he is now. Where he takes Marbled Rock Roast.
He was there. But it's not your Yunobo. Not the Goron you fell in love with.
"Hey! I told no one but me to come in here!" The young goron shouted at the whole mine, heading towards you with fast pace.
You crossed your arms, waiting for him at the exit with a frown on your face.
The president didn't keep you waiting long, stopping right in front of you with a smirk. His eyes seem to burn red under that damn mask.
"Welcome back, Goro! Oh? What's with the face? Aren't you happy to see me?" Said goron taking you by the chin.
You couldn't believe it was him. That the one who stands in front of you is your once gentle goron, who was afraid to hurt you and did not touch you that confidently.
"What's going on, Yuno? What's with the city? Why are the Gorons in such state?" You said, removing his hand from your face. His hands seemed unbearably hard for you right now.
Yunobo frowned.
"The Gorons are in perfectly fine. But there's something wrong with you"
You look at his displeased grin. His eyes shine with a dangerous flame, not the soft fire that you are used to.
"You're not Yunobo..." you said through your teeth.
Your boyfriend's face is twisted with anger.
"And what do you mean by that, huh?"
"That there's something wrong with you! Take your mask off!"
You reached for the mask, but he grabbed your wrist, squeezing it tightly.
"Don't touch... pf... Something wrong with me, Goro? With me?! You've been in your village for longer than you promised! It's not my fault that you missed all the changes! And now it's my fault?!" The young goron shouted angrily.
The skin on your wrist started to turn red from the way he squeezed your hand, forcing you to close your eyes.
"Stop, it hurts!"
Tears rolled from your eyes. Your gentle goron would never do that. He's not the one you love so much... Not your boy...
"Oh no, honey, that's not how things are done"
He sounded annoyed. Pulling you by the hand, he put you between him and the wall. One of the hands slid down on your thigh, squeezing tightly so that you would not have the opportunity to leave. He leaned forward, trapping you between his muscular body and the mine wall. The other hand stopped on the wall next to your head. A sneaky grin spread across his face. He leaned forward, whispering in your ear. His warm breath burns the skin of your neck, and no amount of Fireproof Elixir will help.
"We have to catch up on everything you missed during your absence, don't you agree, dear?"
Ah well... Requests are open.

A link to the Past
Soo! TotK and AlttP. I played AlttP shortly after BotW on nso, when TotK still wasn't out. I liked it a lot at first, but I have to say I didn't complete it. It was technologically advanced for that time for sure, but I don't think it aged well. The dungeons didn't leave me anything valuable to remember, like other games did, the items weren't equipped easily and the story was too simple and banal.
As for TotK. Oh TotK. I got to play botw another bit before returning it (I had borrowed it from a friend), after quitting alttp. And I still liked it! Then I bought TotK and at the beginning I was extremely surprised, it looked so great. I thought Rauru was the same first sage from OoT and he had a "goat disguise" to not be recognized, like his owl form. Of course I was wrong and then I was so disappointed, i left it almost one year ago and don't have any urge to play it again, I probably will though and give it another chance because something was really good like seeing grown up characters or finding those "Zeldas" or building things or finding amiibo costumes. - the story is great for a standalone game, but for zelda? The zonai make no sense to me and contradicted everything we knew. In the past right after sksw the gerudo weren't known, the zora and rito didn't exist, the gorons weren't on death mountain. They should have made another antagonist and not Ganondorf. Zelda's sacrifice was honestly a so great part, but the ending was awful. - the "dungeons" were copies of each other. And short and banal as heck, and the dialogues after each one were always the same. - People didn't remember Link. Only some of the major characters did but the majority of the npcs didn't know him. And Link didn't have the majority of his clothes. I know the outfits weren't mandatory to get in botw (nothing was mandatory tho) but at least the most known could have been left. The gerudo outfit, the climber set, the hylian set, the luminous stone set! They made up a story for the zora tunic and that's a good thing. - The depths were empty and too dark, even after the light roots were lighted. It was too easy to get lost. - the ultrahand and fuse mechanics are amazing as well as the ascend, but they should have made them mandatory at least for some parts of the game, to give them more spotlight. - I would have loved to have way more sksw references, this isn't a flaw of course but a personal preference! Also I would have loved to have Wolf Link as an ally again, instead of the spirits of the sages. - personal experience: the game crashed after I defeated Ganondorf for the last time. I was about to see the final cutscene when the screen went black and it never played (I saw it on youtube). Everything else on the swotch worked perfectly so it was just the game. Of course it doesn't autosave or let people save the game after entering the zone before the first fight with Ganondorf so I'm back there. I hated it.
