Okay, but the delicious irony of Oonagh O'Dwyer, Sea Motif personified, sea goddess who wears her beauty like sea riches and has green-blue mermaid eyes and is wrecked by unreleased storms actually not knowing how to swim?
She is literally drowning in herself, she is being engulfed and smothered and annihilated by her own essence, and the only reason she gets through the swimming parts of DK is because she's clinging onto Lymond so he can keep her afloat?

Healing 🌿🕯:
[I ran into an old friend yesterday and he told me about some surprising synchronicities that happened to him, and while talking I was lead to express that I'm on my spiritual path to becoming an energy healer. In context, I did say it partly for joking effect. . . . . . . but when my focus is shifted to that by external influence, I DO want to believe it. I am naturally interested in that path, I've had to learn how to heal my own body many times, and I've gotten to practice on a few others.
...So, this time when I isolated fine muscle control to alleviate tension pain, I was able to do something in a way I've never quite been able to do... I've also changed my diet to include more fresh bitter herbs and it was my 1st day back to that 🌿☘. I noticed only a small change after eating branches of fresh sage, but no difference in my muscles and joints after that... but later I felt like I "unlocked" a secret level of healing 😃😄.]
🃏🃏🃏 INTENTION, WINTER, and REBIRTH: I was being more focused with my INTENTION as I stretched and released tense muscles & connective tissues. I was reflecting on the energy I received from the day and directed it in a way that felt slightly slightly different. . . . . . WINTER symbolizes that no matter how harsh something seems, there is something opposite on the other side of the cycle. And if I have any control in it, it's not a part of a cycle I choose to keep myself in. . . . . . REBIRTH; it is the fire on the wintery land to symbolize the passionate determination even in a harsh frosty situation.

Everything is occurring in perfect timing." -- I believe the Universe shows me synchronicities because my Guides are helping me, making sure things turn out alright, I am in the right place at the right time, and show up to experiences that teach me, inspire me, and expand my vibration. I am naturally doing spiritual work anyway, and the Universe is already communicating back. I AM learning more and exploring more and I AM attracting the next step.
Hathor Goddess card says "Receptivity; Allow yourself to receive. This will increase your intuition, energy, and ability to give to others." -- I have recently started doing a visualization my cards inspired me to, for receiving limitless healing energy (maybe I will do another post on that). No matter what my situation is, I can still be receptive to healing energy.
Coventina Goddess card says "Purification; It is time for a cleansing detoxification of your body and mind." -- I'd say that this is for my diet which I recently improved, and for my thoughts of self-doubt. I make room for self-belief and full potentiality.

While researching a customer’s ancestral goddess, I came across something intriguing. There was an Irish sept, the Corcu Loigde, that claimed descent from a Fairy Queen named Cliodhna. It turns out, my Irish ancestors were part of the sept and I am able to claim fairy blood! What’s even more amazing is that MOST people of Irish descent can claim a legendary hero, fairy, god, or goddess as their ancestor. In this article, I’m providing you a look at my research of the Irish clans and their descent from Fairy Queens. Check if YOUR Irish or Scottish ancestors’ names are on this list and find out if YOU were born in a fairy bloodline!

READ THIS FIRST: Check the variations of each of your surnames and compare to what I have listed here. You can Google your surnames and find the variations. Why is this important? Scholars believe she is a variation of a sovereignty goddess and may even be the war goddess The Morrigan. In later centuries, she became a Celtic Fairy Queen. This may be because of Shakespeare’s fairy Queen Mab character. 3. Fairy Bloodlines of Queen Una (Oonagh)
Another goddess of the Tuatha De Dannan who was demoted to Fairy Queen over the centuries is Una (sometimes spelled Oonagh or Oona). She’s a fairy queen of Munster and is a goddess of music, love, and fidelity. And she protects young animals and children. Queen Una lives under Knockshegowna in County Tipperary (also called the Fairy Mound of Una). She is the last queen of the Daoine Sidhe and the wife to the High Fairy King Finvarra.

Aine is a Celtic Irish goddess of summer, sovereignty, animals, crops, fertility, Midsummer and the sun. She resides in County Limerick, where her sacred hill Knockaine is located. The Fairy Bridge of the MacLeod Clan – Isle of Skye
The MacLeod Scottish Clan’s Fairy Bloodline
The MacLeod clan from the Isle of Skye, Scotland, claims they have fairy blood. The story comes from a centuries-old relic the family still has in their possession – the Fairy Flag. Legend says the flag was given to the MacLeod clan by a fairy woman who had married a MacLeod chief. She was married to him for twenty years and was forced to leave him and return to the Otherworld. The fairy woman said goodbye to the chief on the fairy bridge and gave him the flag. She told him to wave the flag whenever they were in dire need of help and it would be granted three times.

I’m not saying anyone is necessarily a fairy or that your ancestor was a fairy, I’m saying that these clans claimed it. This is similar to how the Egyptian pharaohs claimed to be gods or descend from the gods. It gave people status and probably fueled their religious rites and beliefs. Aside from telling people your ancestor was a fairy, consider working with your ancestor in your spiritual or magical practice. Research and study their lore and history. Set up an altar space. Why Are There Only Irish and Scottish Surnames Here?
Unfortunately, if you don’t have Irish or Scottish ancestors, you might be wondering where the other names are. I wish I could find the same information for ALL cultures and heritages, but it doesn’t exist at this magnitude. Ireland had a Renaissance right before the Viking Age in which their clergy (who could read and write) began documenting Irish folklore, mythology, and history. Geneaology including names and locations of septs and clans was recorded, and we are lucky to have this information still today. Funfact- Since I started to read that book, a lot of things started to make sense to me... I'm just done with the pages about all the wolf god/goddess and werewolf beliefs, and Gaia appears more often in these myths... and I've always had a very strong connection to mother earth in all her glory... I just realized a few days ago, that the nature is one of my reasons to keep going, so that I can enjoy the views as long as I can.... I also had a weird feeling in my belly, when I watched Moana for the first time... and was so emotional at the end of the movie... turns out that the beautiful woman with all the beautiful flowers, was meant to be Gaia...
And some years ago I fell in love with the German band Oonagh... They too, sang about Gaia and about nature...
and the fact that I read now in a lycantrophy book that werewolves and gaia really have a kind of connection is surprising me...

Yoongi: TEN OF CUPS
yoongi is one hell of a sucker… for all things romance and the thought of a happy family. if you are an unapologetic love bird on duty, yoongi will make moves, i guarantee it. he wants the rose-colored glasses and all the cheesy things. if you express the romance outside that he feels inside, things will naturally match up like magnets. you don’t have to worry about your fantasies being up in the clouds, yoongi is pragmatic enough to ground you at the end of the day. the ten of cups tells me he isn’t looking for a fling, but long-term soulmates. he wants to be caring toward a partner and potential kids so he has to be sure it’s the right place and point in time. yoongi seeks reliability and strings attached. i know many people speculate he’s the type for one night stands when he gets too desperate, the card however says he’s anticipating something bigger. if someone looks like a distraction to him, he won’t be interested. he won’t go for temporary relief because there’s a major goal he pursues, and he’s all in.

self-explanatory — you can attract him with confidence and bravery. a big and jovial presence is what hoseok is looking for. he prefers you to initiate. self-doubt repels him, he needs you to be in control. a self-assured presence will make him say yes to getting asked out. in a more literal way: you see a woman gently stroking a lion’s mane/face on the card. he is looking for a partner who’s down for plenty of cuddles and PDA, especially on the giving side. he really loves to be pampered. given that it’s a lion she caresses: it’s about having the courage to talk to him and seeing hoseok’s soft side, opposite to his bold, beastmode stage image. he likes the idea of being tamed. visually, since the woman is blonde i feel he might be attracted to that hair color, dyed or natural. since we talk strength, he is easy to woo by someone muscular. as for zodiac signs, obviously all the leo guys and gals are hoseok’s best bet.

Taehyung: SEVEN OF SWORDS
a mischievous charm is like moths to the flame with him. tease him and you’ll go far with tae, he likes that. the seven of swords is a sly card that indicates cunning; you see a guy stealing swords from a battlefield. so what it tells me is that you have to be a smartass and know your way with words. let’s face it, you’re loco as hell for that guy, you’d steal the declaration of independence. i see the stealthiness as a sign of wanting to ‘get away with’ taehyung literally, as in sneaking off to make out somewhere. he loves the daring element of doing that. risk and secrecy turns him on. it’s not going to be some random romance either, whoever captures his interest has an actual strategy in mind to get close to him. basically the same as in namjoon and hoseok’s reading, you initiate. it could also be like in your stereotypical teen comedy movie where the person is too shy to be upfront with their crush so they devise a plan to get together.

there’s no way around it, you have to be extremely close to his most personal of projects. he tends to be by himself a lot in the studio. it’s not you attracting namjoon, namjoon has to attract you into his intimate sphere of work. it’s likely not a fan he’s gonna date at this point in time, it feels too remote for him. someone knee-deep in the kpop industry is a better match. he’ll consider such a union because the person has to really understand where he’s coming from and how much he sacrifices for his career. or actually, how focused he is carrying bts on his shoulders. the person who respects him as productive and the leader has a chance to get into his heart. the card — there’s a guy doing woodwork on it — also tells me he might want to date a business person or someone who is a talented master builder when it comes to handcrafts. so, to get the relationship going we need two moneymakers, the eight of pentacles is a good card to bring that energy about.

Seokjin: DEATH
oh man. you gotta be a big deal. with the death card i know that out of all members, jin is the hardest to faze. he scrutinizes up close who wants to mingle with his private life, his priorities are all sorted out. there is no bullshit going on. so, only someone knowing every trick in the book will catch his eye. a partner who’s older and/or highly experienced for sure. the death card also talks about non-discrimination — as in, nobody is exempt from death — so it might be someone from a different social class, country, or belief system that he feels drawn to. your background and looks won’t be jin’s criteria. personality and intent comes first, not keeping up appearances. it’ll transform the public big time if jin out of all people pulls such a move and spits in the face of prejudice. note that the card also symbolizes endings, so he might attract someone at the end of his career or either party’s end of another relationship.
⟶ goddess card: sige — silence. “take some quiet time alone to rest, meditate, and contemplate.”
Jimin: NINE OF PENTACLES
show off your sophisticated clothes and spoil him. jimin will take definite note of it. whatever affluence and abundance you have to display — e.g. a supple figure, a generous amount of money, valuable property, a knack for cooking — it will bring him close to you. sugar baby jimin likes all things lavish and wants an elegant partner to link arms with. the card also has a little falcon sitting on a woman’s hand (symbolizing life purpose in traditional tarot, you wanna have that one figured out because jimin likes people with a direction), it tells me that you can easily endear jimin if you have a pet. given that jimin is a feline magnet despite his allergy, you bet that he gravitates toward a cat lover. or, in a wider sense, a cat person to his dog person. since the card is also about nature/harvest: he might be interested in you if you have gardening skills lmao! i’m not kidding, if you take good care of interiors and plants you have his respect.

Fuck it here’s a list of Fionn’s lovers and children because I spent 2 hours looking all this bullshit up and I refuse to let those efforts go to waste
Oonagh - Daughter (or wife?) of a Scottish nobleman, Oonagh is most famous for helping Fionn defeat the Scottish giant Benandonner. She was both beautiful and clever and bore Fionn a son, Fergus Finnbheoil, who led most of the chants and songs of the Fianna but was not much of a fighter, and a daughter, Samhair, who wed Cormac Cas and perished in the final battle at Gowra.
Sadhbh/Saba - His most famous wife who was turned into a deer by the druid Fer Doirich, and bore Oisin. Oisin in turn had three children; by his wife Eibher he had Oscar and Finn and, most likely by the goddess Nieve, he had a daughter, Plornaman. His second wife, Aideen, was childless but died of sorrow when she heard of Oscar and Finn’s deaths at the battle of Gowra.
Tasha - The daughter of a Fairy King, Tasha fell in love with Fionn after he saved her kingdom and followed him back to Ireland where they were wed. She bore him several children; Keva who married Gol mac Morna and perished some years before the Gowra battle (which then led to her own children dying as they fought eachother at said battle), twin sons Raighne & Aedh, who perished at Gowra, and finally Daire, who once cut himself out of a live whale and survived the Gowra battle as far as I could find.
Maighneis - Daughter of an Irish nobleman, she married Fionn to forge friendship and alliance and was the last woman he courted before he met Grainne several years after Maighneis’ death. She gave him a daughter, Tuireann, who was said to be just as good with a sword as Fionn himself, and whom married the Fianna warrior Luga. Tuireann had one son, Geena, who Fionn favoured and spoiled a great deal. Tuireann and Luga both perished during adventures after Geena came of age, and Geena himself died at Gowra.
Ailbe - Sister of Grainne, she was known for her quick wit and became Fionn’s consort after Grainne fled with Diarmuid. Though she refused to marry, Ailbe bore Fionn two sons: Aibhinn, a great warrior who perished fighting a Fairy King’s champion, and Cairell, who was fiercely loyal to Fionn and died fighting Goll mac Morna a few months before the battle of Gowra.
Grainne - Whether Grainne married Fionn after Diarmuid’s death and gave him children varies from tale to tale, but in the versions where she did, Diarmuid and Fionn’s children end up killing eachother - thus exstinguishing both bloodlines - during the battle of Gowra. In these versions it’s worth saying that Grainne declared revenge on Fionn but ended up marrying him anyway and seeking peace because he “courted and woo’d her so sweetly” that she ended up falling in love with him. (This also causes the Fianna to laugh at her and mock her choices which is, like, completely fair imo because jesus lady can you stick to your guns for once?)

Hi there! I'm doing research on the fae but I'm stuck bc I've read about two different Irish goddesses that are BOTH apparently queen of the fae? Aine and Oonagh, can you please tell me the difference or which came first please, I can't find it online 😢
From what I’ve learned, the differences between them are primarily that Oonagh is the wife of Fionnbharr, who is the king of the Daione Sidhe, which can be considered to later turn into the Tuatha De Danann once they came to the Otherworld. She is quite literally the Queen of Fae since she is married to Fionnbharr. Aine, on the other hand, is thought to be the daughter of a member of the Tuatha de Duanna, King Eogabail (also called Eoghanach, although not royalty of the Tuatha De Danann). She is considered a Queen of Fae because of her relations with human men, to which she birthed a new magical Fae-like race. Because of their background, I personally believe Oonagh came first. Use with this information what you will, I hope that I was able to offer some guidance!
