Otometober Day 9 - Favorite Mobile Game?

Honestly I have quiet a few downloaded however most of my time has been on my switch games of otome than mobile. If I'm bored or laying in bed or out somewhere I fall back to my mobile or on my tablet. I would say the last game though I played was through Love 365 app I have a few favorites but the last I played was Irresistible Mistakes but then got hooked so I went and bout it on switch and now I have the whole game.

Whats weird about me is my switch and steam games always come first over mobile games but I have also read alot of people get into games on their mobile and then when it goes down they lose all access to everything they ever did. When it comes to me and otome's the idea of losing my progress is unacceptable. So when I see games that were for Love 365 and I can get the full game I prefer to so that way I don't lose access to them one day or pay for each individual route.

Then there is the issue with games like Stand My Heroes, & Magic Ryun! Renaissance they aren't even in english so makes it hard to get into them when I have to translate everything. Then there is Mr. Love Queens Choice I love the anime but I feel like the game is so nothing like it. I am looking forward to being able to play Untold Atlas on steam because I just can't seem to get into it on mobile and it says its not able to be played on tablet.

I guess though with all that taken in to count if I have to choose a favorite that I have played on mobile would have to be a toss up between the following which by the way are all on switch which I own :D

First off I have yet to do all the routes but Mamoru Kishi "The Slacker Detective" is the one who pulled me and I just love his character. He acts like he can't be bothered to own you yet uses you as he needs to break a case. It doesn't take long before you can tell he likes having you around and falls in love with you. I guess its my classic case I gravitate towards the assholes with a bad attitude in games yet have a underlining love and passion about them that makes me feel like they would be a guy you could be safe with because his loyalty will never let anyone hurt you. Whenever I get a chance to finish it all I will do a proper game review of the routes though.

So here is that guy that melts my butter in this series

which wouldn't normally be an issue! like, needing to use the bathroom in the middle of a fight? Nope! minor cuts and bruises like papercuts, only actual enemies or fall damage counting? hell yeah that'd be great (theoretically no chronic pains if you got that?? hmmmm unsure)

see the issue comes when you realize, you as a player, don't have a "character" that's all your own

there's aether/lumine yeah.. but bc the game's real now, they're their own people, and you didn't wake up to find yourself as a blonde twin...

the closest you can describe your form as is .. like a seelie?

or like the way ghosts look in game?

but a lot more "starry"

like your specterlike, but you look like you got filled up with stars and the milky way, maybe a reference of you being from another universe/world? (aether/lumine/dainsleif/khaenriah star symbol reference secret thEORY-)

but yah.

you also got just, white eyes.

like, not iris, not pupil. like your pupil and iris got erased

you gotta admit, at least you look really aesthetic now.

(u also got a little cape and hood on at all times, and you cant take it off to see your starrified hair >:/ ,very Blue Diamond-esque, look up Steven Universe, Blue Diamond if you dont know who im talking about)

so needless to say, as soon as you sort of glitched your way into existence you were HYPE

i mean ur ACTUALLY IN TEYVAT WITH THE BOYSSSS

...then you realize your a spooky-no-character-to-pilot-around-thus-no-character-model-body-for-you thingy

and that you cant touch stuff!! >:(

like wth!!!

so, you figure if you got no body to be.... you gotta find a new "character" to pilot >:)

you're in the fucking woods (Sumeru somewhere obv, u knew that the moment you opened ur eyes),

what'd you expect?? an archon??

..wait a minute. can you possess an archon-

these kinda thoughts plague your first few days of irl genshin impact playing

a rishabold tiger? yep.

a sumpter beast? kinda slow and heavy feeling but yeah.

...you also try a ruin machine LOL

by far, the fungi and ruin machines are the best to possess, mostly because you can remain upright with those

(tho u did find some type of flying monkey that wasnt in game, but its like,, a real world and jungle now so that makes sense there'd be more complexity + stuff)

you do eventually think you should try and possess a person at this point... but ur kinda nervous 👉👈

its ur first time doin this okay nobody explained the basics to you youve been winging for a week now!

will your mind be replaced with theirs? it hasn't been so far with the creatures/bots

and as far as you can tell, they kinda just-

forget what happened or "wake up" after you possess them

(the tiger you were for a day looked confused as hell when it realized that there was a new pile of fruit next to it when it "woke up", it was your way of saying thank you to the animals of the jungle, u left them little piles of food you collected running around as them)

so THEORHETICALLY-

you should be good to go and possess a random poor eremite

... you figure you want to possess something human-like eventually even if you get a puppet body like wanderer/raiden so...

here goes nothing...

so it's been 2 weeks since you've been forcefully yanked into teyvat, and by the second week, you were trying to possess eremites

which! worked out!

mostly..!

you kinda convinced the entirety of two eremite camps that a certain part one of sumeru's forests is hella haunted bc ppl keep "blacking out" and doing things they don't remember doing, yknow... like possesssion LMAO

they kinda ran off to escape you but, hey!

experiment #2: people possession, success!!

now you were kinda convinced of this when you realized no matter the angle the animals and machines of sumeru didnt react to you getting super close to them (you dont have to touch something to posses it, just look at it really, but you wanted to test limits, so you walked up to sumpter beasts and fungi and ruin machines)

but no one can see you.

you don't have a "character" most of the time, you can float and glide around the ground like scaramouche lol

you cant touch stuff bc of this, you cant smell stuff (u saw the eremites campfires & couldnt smell the smoke until you were them)

you cant eat stuff w/o a body, so.. it makes sense that the eremites and passing merchants, cant see you when you float around, trying to reorient yourself after 2 weeks of experimenting

:( ur only a lil sad about it... but mostly not bc lol u got possession powers so trade off u guess

the first time you see a vision-bearer you literally scream

LMAO

ur so lucky u cant be seen or heard

bc Collei would have def screamed back lol

needless to say u stalk the forest ranger- ALL DAY.

Collei goes on patrol around the woods? you go on a patrol.

collei goes to visit other forest rangers? you "visit" other forest rangers at base (lol u def possess a guy who was asleep on a bench nearby & wake up to go talk to Collei "in-person", poor guy was so worried he sleep walked/talked so hard he went to see Tighnari an hour later lmao)

welp, you decide this is your life now, follow Collei everywhere, talk one-sided to Collei until you can possess a forest ranger w/o it being suspicious (dont wanna turn the poor rangers into the terrified eremites from a week or two ago...)

then, after you get the courage and erase the paranoia that tighnari can just... somehow hear your ghostly bullshit-

u do the same to Tighnari (then Cyno when he visits! no u didnt squeal, so what, nobody can hear you- )

♧

Tighnari begins to get suspicious about 3 weeks into this routine.

he's been starting to collect and start a file on all the rangers or nearby villagers that've started randomly "blacking out/sleep walking" in the evenings usually

(u possess as close to nighttime as u can so it seems like sleepwalking)

So when Cyno comes back from a mission gone wrong,

having nearly been decapitated by a rogue flying ruin machine, only to black out and come to standing calmly 10 feet further than he remembered being 1 minute ago...

Tighnari's suspicions are confirmed, and he launches into researching this phenomenon.

his first thought is something like the aranara, but that doesn't account for the effect this thing is having on people

after all, what little forest spirit is strong enough to-

-control humans??

Tighnari begins to get the sense he's in over his head after he finds himself pushed into going into Sumeru City in order to collect more library books or ask around if the blackouts have spread to the city people

he answer is negative, on both accounts.

and he spends about one half of the day walking around, and the other reading up all he can on mythical creatures or ailments

Tighnari gives up for the day, and as he makes his way back to Ghandarvaville, he almost gets ambushed by some particularly nasty muggers

...and then he wakes up 20 feet away, his denro vision thrumming with power, full of worry and fondness for himself??, (just like Cyno said he felt happen to him..)

...Tighnari decides he needs reinforcements.

✨ some mad ramblings cuz i have nothing better to do ✨ ~ i've met quite a few capricorn women in my life and it always blows me away how FRIENDLY and open and talkative they are??? i don't know where (tropical) capricorn suns get the reputation of being cold/reserved, because from what i've seen they're THE chattiest people ever haha i love them! though i have no idea how they have the energy to talk so much, it's impressive!

~ maybe its because of my leo rising, but i noticed i always befriend leo suns. i love these big cats to bits, i love how attentive and loving they are (and honestly i think it's super cute how they can be needy for attention/affection sometimes<3)

~ sometimes when speaking to a pisces mercury, you could say something in the most direct and clear way possible, and they'll still misunderstand you and think you meant something else, or they'll imagine you said something else entirely. our minds are a hazy maze hahahaha

~ air moons aren't unemotional or unfeeling, no moon sign is. we all just have different ways of expressing what we're feeling, and some express their emotions more openly than others

~ some people might relate more to their sidereal chart, and others may not relate to it at all. i think it really depends on each person, but also i think it's important to remember that our charts don't exist only to describe our personalities, they describe our entire lives and experiences. astrology isn't like a silly little personality quiz (though it's fun to view it that way sometimes)

~ house placements are just as important as sign placements! always read up on what planets/signs you have in each house, it can all be very interesting and surprising :)

Hi I was wondering have u got any hcs on Layla and Aquarius? I wished we saw more of it in the show did there get along or did there not ? Was the reason Aquarius is so harsh to Lucy is cause she grieving Layla and Lucy looks just like Layla ? Love to hear your thoughts

Forgive me if Layla is ooc! My grasp on her personality is not great but I have invented my own idea of what she was like lol

When Layla first got Aquarius. Aquarius came out blazing with her usual attitude

Layla acted like she didn't notice and politely introduced herself and began discussing their contract

Aquarius was super skeptical of Layla at first. She had only had cruel celestial spirit mages up until this point so she was waiting for Layla to drop the act

For the first year, Aquarius was basically instigating fights

Layla never took the bait. She'd always be calm, cool, and collected

Layla didn't do a whole lot of typical wizard work so Aquarius was almost never summoned for fights

Instead, Layla would summon her to help farms going through droughts, to be a sprinkler for little kids on hot days, and things like that

Finally Aquarius snapped and was like "whats your deal?". Layla didn't understand what she was talking about so Aquarius went on a full blown rant. She complained about how calm Layla was, how she only took jobs that helped people, how she didn't get into fights, her kindness.

At the end of the rant, Aquarius looked at her and was like "when are you going to drop the act and be like the rest of the humans?"

Layla assured her that it wasn't an act and asked about why Aquarius hated mages so much

Aquarius then dumped her entire tragic backstory of abuse

Layla cried and promised Aquarius that she would never be treated like that again. Not as long as Layla was around

That's when Aquarius really started respecting Layla

The two became very close and Layla would even summon Aquarius just to catch up over tea once a week or so

Aquarius would go back to the spirit world and gush about her new friend and her kindness. The rest of the spirits didn't believe there was a mage that could treat them with such respect

When Layla got more keys, the rest of the spirits came back with the same stories and everyone was soon talking about her

Aquarius would summon herself just to watch Layla work. To watch how Layla earned the respect of everyone in a room with only a few sentences.

Aquarius really loved and cherished her.

So when Layla quit wizard work, Aquarius freaked out. She was terrified of what would happen to her.

Layla reminded her of the promise she had made years before about making sure Aquarius was treated fairly

Aquarius trusted her and went to Grammi with little complaints

When Layla died and Aquarius found out it was because she used her life force instead of Aquarius' key for a spell. Aquarius was overcome with guilt

She blamed herself for Layla's death. She should've been there

So then when Lucy started summoning her, Aquarius couldn't even look at her

Lucy looked too much like Layla and acted nothing like her

Aquarius was constantly reminded of her guilt when she looked at Lucy. Constantly reminded that she wasn't able to save Layla

And Lucy was a brat, mourning the loss of her mother and misbehaving because of it

Aquarius' guilt quickly turned to anger which she directed at the little girl. It was easier this way.

She just wanted Lucy to be Layla and it would never happen

Too wrapped up in her own grief and anger, Aquarius never noticed how similar the Heartfilia's actually were

She never noticed how much love Lucy had. How kind she was. At least not for a while

Eventually, Aquarius started seeing Layla when she looked at Lucy, but in a positive way.

She watched how Lucy treated the staff with that same respect, how Lucy would go out of her way to help injured animals she found on the grounds, how Lucy treated her kindly but with that immaturity that came with her age.

Part of Aquarius never wanted to like Lucy. She never wanted to feel the pain of losing a mage she cared for again, but Lucy grew on her (like a rash, Aquarius would say)
