been having nimona thoughts for the past week or so since i watched the movie, just kind of reflecting on nd stevenson’s wider body of work and development as an artist and mulling over his statements about the movie having a more explicitly happy ending than the comic. and i think it’s so interesting and beautiful in a way that just makes me so fucking happy. like, nimona the movie is so nice. it is softer and warmer than the comic, rounding its edges (but not completely sanding them away) to turn into a kids movie, and what a kids movie it is! nimona the comic is cruel and gritty and complicated in much more uncomfortable ways than the movie, and its ending is so profoundly bittersweet and hopeful and just. deeply deeply meaningful to me. and then the movie’s like hey :) what if nimona saw ballister for who he was :) a friend :) and im like WAHHHHHHH. it’s so nice :’)
also just think it’s neat that goldenheart are overall a much happier, more stable couple in the movie, because whilst i personally prefer analysing crazy gay bitches (utena fan), watching gay people get to be gay in nice and fun ways is like :) like what’s a mainstream animated film with a gay protagonist who starts the film in a relationship and has that relationship be a central plot point throughout? and also they kiss and are in love at the end? it’s a big deal!!!! it’s awesome to see!! it made me incredibly happy !!!!! god fucking bless

Jealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?
hahaha. i haven't played in a long time so my characterization is fuzzy. i'm teetering between vere not getting jealous easily because he knows you're together and he's incredibly confident the person you're talking to is nowhere near his level v. him being more on the possessive(?) side because you're one of the only people he's close to What is that person doing.
i'll land on that i don't think he gets incredibly jealous,,, at least not easily! he Is confident in himself and your relationship,, plus he can tell when 1) you're trying to rile him up 2) genuinely oblivious to whatever the person's trying to do or 3) uncomfortable with the situation
no matter what i can imagine him coming up to you and getting your attention again, maybe sparking an introduction while he doesn't drop eye contact with the person in front of you.
vere doesn't have to try hard to be very menacing, and he casually gets you away from the situation. the ease he has facing the person is telling enough that Yes you're in a relationship and Yes he Is better and more important than them and No he isn't afraid to start shit if they do so Back off
if you were just trying to be a Brat. well. you've got his attention and you'll face some consequences for sure!
in a more lighthearted situation where you realize ?! omg were u jealous. omggg.... he deflects and says of course not. he just thinks that person was annoying and you had better things to do. he Will swoosh his tail at your face if you bring them up again (he is pouting a little bit.)

Pale fingers pick at the fabric of your jacket, gently tugging the fabric back whilst the sharp painted nails adorning them lightly nick into the threads. You'd complain, but the thing was already plenty ruined from how many times it had been tugged, pulled and nipped at over time. By now, it was obvious no object was safe from Tang yun's grabby little hands, and it would be foolish to think otherwise.
"Pshh, stop being so impatient~ you'l get a turn!"
Tang Xuan shot back in a somewhat smug yet playful tone, glancing over his shoulder at the annoyed six-eared male behind you. You tugged sharply at the redhead's locks in a threat, shooting him a dark smile by leaning over his shoulder.
"Quit moving! You'l mess me up!!"
A small nervous laugh escaped the esper's lips, letting his arms drop at his lap. Seemingly in defeat- but if would be absolutely stupid to think the sun wukong could stay still for even a minute. Not even 15 seconds after your empty threat, he had began tapping his foot against the ground impatiently. He wasn't in any position to call out his brother on his impatience, it seemed.
"I did yours, so do mine, too...."
Yun continued, not intent on giving up as he clawed at the hood of your poor abused jacket. You weren't having any of it- luckily your back was turned, otherwise you might have given in to the macaque's pathetic puppy-eyes face.
"If you come here i'll do yours, 'Ge ge~!' "
"I'd rather die."
Yun shot back with a glare. Arms now loosely wrapped around your neck protectively. Xuan let out a barking laugh at his brother's childish behaviour- which made you let out a curse under your breath.
"Xuan!"
You whined, watching the locks slip between your fingers for the nth time. Gah! And you were almost done too!!
"I'm sorry, i'm sorryyy!"
He yelped as you bent over to attack the poor male with harsh pokes all over his cheeks, which were flushed with laughter. He curled in on himself in a poor attempt of putting himself out of your reach- forcing you attack his sides instead
"You brat! How dare you have such long luscious hair that takes hours to braid!!"
"You're just jealous!!"
"Of course i am!"
You whined, leaning back into Tang Yun's chest with an exasperated sigh, dramatically resting the back of your palm over your forehead.
"Ughhhh.... Yun, i'll do yours first....."
"No wait- hahahah-i-i promise i'll sit still this time!!"
Xuan exclaimed from his position, reaching out a hand for you in a weak attempt at forgiveness. You muffled a laugh at his dramatic display-
"You're not even sitting still right NOW!"
Yun pouted, resting his chin on your shoulder to eye his brother with disinterest
"You lost your turn. Do it yourself."
He smiled smugly, lightly snuggling into the junction of your neck and your shoulder- choppy hair mixed with the feeling of pointy ears rubbing against your skin feeling alien to you.
"Hahhh?? You think i lost! Nu-uh! [nickname] said they'd do mine first, so i'm still going first! You wouldn't go back on your word, riiiiiight~??"
Xuan hummed, rolling over to lay on your lap playfully, long fiery locks sprawled out all over you, whilst ashen ones gently cascaded down over your back. Ah, who to pick.......

I've read through the Cyno seasick scenario @relevantlucidity brought up multiple times now and I swear every time I read it, I'm even more obsessed with it oml. If it ends up being a fic, I would read the heck out of it!!
I absolutely love anything surrounding those four sumeru boys,,, Tighnari, Cyno, Kaveh, and Alhaitham are just such a good friend group, my heart simply loses it, I love them. A SICKFIC SCENARIO WITH ALL FOUR OF THEM?? I am losing it. (Honestly I need to write them all too. I have no experience writing Alhaitham especially so I've been a little hesitant to commit to anything, but I really want to write them all, so I definitely need to make plans for that)
I feel like everything I want to say would just me screaming repeating everything y'all already said, but gah!! Cyno hiding how he's feeling because he feels like the other two are more in need of Tighnari's help than him. It's so!! Cyno!! And it hurts me!! But I love it!!
Don't even get me started on the anxiety with the return trip AHH. Internally he would be so freaked out at the thought of possibly getting that sick again, even with Tighnari's reassurances

It's funny that you're hesitant about Alhaitham - I feel that way about Kaveh :') Even though I wrote him a bit in one fic, he wasn't actually in the fic that much 😂 I relate to Alhaitham so much more 😬 But yes I gotta get over that because I am such a sucker for good friendships, I need the whole gang there!!! Not to mention, I just thought about Kaveh and Alhaitham perpetually arguing and making Cyno feel even worse... like one thing about Alhaitham/Kaveh is that if you have a headache or any level of anxiety, you don't wanna be anywhere near them lmao

I actually like the idea of Alhaitham and Kaveh calling a truce for his sake on the way back. Like Cyno would try to act like he's not worried around them but they both know him well enough to recognize he's not doing great. I also have a soft spot for Kaveh taking care of sick Cyno?? Idk if it would fit for this fic, but Kaveh coming across Cyno puking in the toilet maybe while Tighnari is looking after Alhaitham or getting him some water could be really sweet. Since (I'm pretty sure??) Kaveh is older, I picture them taking on thee roles of big brother/little brother - Kaveh being very reassuring and steady while Cyno relents and accepts his help. Maybe out of character? Idk but I like it haha

i tried to split this up as much as what seemed to make sense so it’s not so hard to read :’)
i'm two-spirit and i use they/she pronouns! i spend a lot of my time sleeping (i'm a very eepy gal lmao) and foraging outside with my friends! i also love video games (my favs being animal crossing, the last of us, twst, obey me, stardew valley, resident evil, etc) and cooking/baking! i'm quite ditsy to be perfectly honest and forget things very easily. but i am quite smart when i want to be! i've been described before as a very humble and dedicated person, but i tend to be very emotionally intense. my best friend florence said this abt me when i asked for a friend's desc of me:
"you tend to be really kind and emotional. you aren't afraid to express yourself in any manner. you also value connections that you forge with people and will always push those around you to do the best that they can. you're very stubborn, especially when it comes to conflicts; you won't stop until you've reached a resolution. you also value passion, both in yourself and others. i've never met anyone so determined for those that they love."
i'm a leo sun, scorpio moon (again emotionally intense lmao), and a pisces rising! in typology i'm an entp 7w6 721 sp/sx! i’m rather short (a good 5’3”), i have black hair with neon blue roots in a shag/hush cut style. my hair is very thick and very wild and i tend to have a couple of small braids in to represent my indigenous culture (with beads as well to make it pretty hehe). i have nice tan going on (again cause i’m native) and i’m a bit more on the thicker side when it comes to my body and i’m VERY feminine presenting. i have several piercings: (two nostrils, one septum, left eyebrow, spider bites, and too many to count on my ears) and three tattoos: one of the vivienne westwood logo on my shoulder blade, one that says “trns pwr” (trans power) on my wrist, and one of the two-headed calf (the one from the poem GAH i love that poem sm) on my upper arm.
i’m bi with a preference towards masc individuals, and i’m open to poly relationships although i’ve only had experience with monogamous relationships. when it comes to relationships, i tend to be a bit of a worrywart about my partner’s satisfaction and happiness in the relationship, and thus a bit self-conscious. i spend a lot of time doting on my partner and put their well-being before anything else, but when i don’t receive affirmation from them in return i immediately feel like i’ve screwed up somehow. i tend to view romantic love as like a joining of two people’s souls, and for me romantic love is very much a spiritual and intense feeling/ordeal. i’m very spiritual myself and i put lots of attention into my growth and well-being in every facet of my life, esp spiritually though.
i tend to look for partners who are at least a tad clingy so my doting is reciprocated, have some sort of trauma(s) or issues (yes i try to fix them T-T), and are emotionally intelligent. i LOVE domesticity and my biggest daydream is living in a cottage with my s/o and being completely off-grid and like, having a dairy farm or something no-kill. i ADORE all animals i prefer partners who do as well, in fact not liking animals or not respecting them is a huge red flag for me. i also get romantically turned off by people who take no time to process or take into account their emotions or other people’s emotions, or by people who are “holier-than-thou” and narcissistic. also very much a red flag to me. in terms of affection, i show it mainly through quality time and physical touch, though i don’t feel limited to just those two languages. im also very autistic so i also show affection through parallel play and info-dumping. when it comes to receiving affection, i also love quality time and physical affection and parallel play, but i can find appreciation through any love language as well.

The eepiness does remind Lilia of Silver, so he just chuckles softly and tucks you in. Cater will place a kiss to your forehead whenever he finds you asleep. They both adore that even though you are kind, you are as equally stubborn. Both of them would also understand the emotional intensity; for different reasons.
I hope you’re prepared for this duo because they both are very clingy. The three of you could be out and about and people just see them trying their very best to melt into you. Someone gives you a weird look? Boom, face covered in kisses.
Speaking of kisses, they will kiss your tattoos and piercings. Lilia would be curious about the meanings, whereas Cater would gently trace over the line work. You would just be surrounded with tonnes of physical affection, and they also love getting it back, so please, drown them with it.
As for trauma, Cater finds it difficult to let people in due to his upbringing, and then Lilia definitely at least has PTSD. But it’s still trauma for both of them, both will have rough days. [You said you like to fix ‘em, well here’s two of them.]
Hair-dying sessions with both of them. Lilia would be touching up your roots, and Cater would be fixing up Lilia’s colour. It’s up to you if you can trust Lilia with your hair when it comes to maintaining the haircut. Cater would probably be the better option, he can also braid and bead your hair in cute styles.
INFODUMP TO THEM! They love seeing you get passionate and talk about hyper-fixations! Cater would mainly be quiet and looking at you all softly, whereas Lilia would occasionally join in with you, especially on topics that he himself enjoys; this can go on for hours at a time.
Lilia would LOVE the off-grid cottage lifestyle! The two of you would be out tending to the cows, and any other animal friends you have. Cater less so, but he comes to enjoy it eventually; he can be mostly found in the vegetable garden or with the barn cats.
You can and will have dates where you sit around and play video games together, and then go foraging. Cater would probably enjoy Stardew Valley, whereas Lilia would like Resident Evil.
DO NOT LET LILIA COOK! Cater will body slam Lilia to stay out of the kitchen. Please, for all of your well-being, please be the only cook.

nothing ever really feels stiff or emotionless, you know? you can always tell a tone in a character's words, and their words are distinct too! that's something i love how you do as well!!! you're very good at keeping relationship dynamics fairly the same level of tender romance between reader and a character, no matter the scenario, but it's never the same thing twice
speaking of tender, you always managed to make soft moments even softer? whenever im having a bad day ill read hands so tender, an early morning, a place to return to, and those genuinely warm my heart and make me feel so much better just because of how you write things. i get warm fuzzies from the soft conversation, the fluffy domesticity, augh it just warms my heart reading and it never fails to make me smile

i think tone + wording plays a huge part in characterization (a info dump i won't bore dash with lol) and i try to incorporate lil tics into the way i write characters to keep them unique and separated!! and tenderness ;-; i can't help but write with a constant underlying adoration,, both from the characters and the readers,,

Hero’s hands slid down their face as they began speaking to the former villain on the other side of iron bars, a primitive cage, but effective for its purpose; a holding cell for heroes. “Why did you have to jeopardize the mission like that, Villain? I was more than capable of handling it myself. You blew everyone’s cover attacking too soon.” Their head came to rest on the cold metal bars dividing the two.
“Those assholes were going to kill you, the big one had you lined up in his sights, Hero. It was fight or you die.” The former villain snarled, their tone tinged with a slight sadness. Being reprimanded in front of, and then by, your crush was certainly a sucker punch to the ego.
“Well then you should have let me!” Hero snapped. “This is what I signed onto, and YOU promised me you would follow orders if I vouched for you back then. It’s not just you getting punished here. Hell, the higher ups might just kick you for insubordination and then you’d never work here again!” Their hands flailed in hopeless gestures that Villain could hardly make out in the dark lighting.
Villain felt as if they were about to burst, their words blurted out, “You’re the entire reason I wanted to join this stupid association anyway!”
The shock in the former-criminal’s eyes was only present for a split moment before they composed themselves and fitted their mask of anger safely back on their face.
Hero on the other hand looked as if they had stuck a fork in an outlet, their expression changing multiple times in unreadable ways. They were silent for a beat, processing the information that they couldn’t entirely wrap their head around.
“I- I am?” Hero uncharacteristically stuttered out, they were normally so sure of themselves. That lack of confidence in their voice fuelled Villain’s passionate feelings. Hero shouldn’t be second guessing this! Villain had made everything painfully clear!
“Gah, yes! You know why?” Villain paused only for a moment between the rhetorical question. “Cause I would do anything for you! Do anything to see you beam with pride after defeating a foe. Do anything to see you bask in glory and be able to provide you with the praise you deserve without it being weird! I would do anything for you- I have! I- I love you, Hero. Fuck, I’m so fucking terrible at this.” They sat on the floor of their cell, bringing their knees to their chest, trying to physically close their heart off, thinking maybe it would reflect emotionally too.
The pause was long and cold, the tension settling in the air like a dense fog. Finally the hero spoke, “Villain… Even if I could, I don't know if I- I…” Hero seemed… Pained? Confused? Maybe a mixture of both. Villain hugged their knees tighter, staring at the filthy concrete floor in front of them, fidgeting their hands relentlessly.
“Good night.” The hero softly sighed before turning and walking away, they were far too tired to deal with this right now.
Fuck.

“hey..” a knock came from your door frame, you looked up from your mirror. “you ready chiquita?” camilo said in a soft tone. he knew you were nervous, it was your first time meeting his family. “i think so, do i look okay?” you got up and showed him your dress.
“te vez como un ángel, you look beautiful baby..” he spun you around and pressed you against his chest. “im so nervous cami..” you sighed, “what if they don’t like me?”.
“y/n/n, im sure they’ll like you, i talk about you all the time...” he lifted your chin up “you’re like the way better version of me, and if they don’t well i’ll still love you just as much.” he pressed a kiss on your forehead. “thank you” he set you at ease. you hugged him and pressed your head against his chest. you both stayed there and then he spoke up.
“we have to go princesa..” as much as he wanted to stay with you, you guys were going to be late. you sighed and nodded, you went to put on your shoes. he waited and then you guys left your house.
he swung your hand back and forth, occasionally cracking a joke trying to make you less nervous. once you reached casita, you were hella nervous. it all hit you at once, for gods sake your meeting his ABUELA.
“hey hey don’t get nervous on me now, they’re going to like you okay? but not as much as me..” he smirked slightly. “you ready to go inside amor?” he pressed a kiss against your knuckles. you nodded and whispered a quiet ‘yes’.
he opened the door and smiled immediately at his family members. “mami! mi novia..” he pushed you slightly encouraging you to say hi to his mom and dad. “hola señora and señor madrigal..” you shook their hands.
“mija! call me mamá pepa..” she played with her hair, “and call me felix..” he pat your back. “it’s nice to meet you mamá pepa and felix.” you chuckled nervously. they looked at each other smiling, as pepas cloud turned into a small rainbow.
you got introduced to mirabel next, turned out being the daughter of a tailor added some bonus points into being better friends with her. you told mirabel some advice to keep her stitches from breaking and talked about random things.
then it was isabela and louisa. luisa picked you up effortlessly, you talked to her and isabela, agreeing that she should take a break.
antonio and dolores were introduced to you, antonio showed you his favorite animals and dolores liked how you lowered your voice tone level around her.
soon you were called for dinner and of course you sat down next to camilo, he rubbed his thumb over your knuckles and kissed your temple “what did i say? you have nothing to worry about..” he smiled softly.
“we’re so glad to have a guest en la casita..” she sat down “we hope you enjoy your stay y/n, let’s eat!”. we all started to pick out the food we wanted and of course you got the famous arepas camilo has talked about.
pretty soon, you were on your 3rd arepa. they made your back ach go away and the soles on your feet were no longer in pain. “you sure do like eating.” abuela lifted an eyebrow, taking a sip from her wine.
“uh..camilo told me about the arepas and i can see why he likes them so much.” you laughed awkwardly and held onto camilos hand tightly.
“im glad you like them mijita, don’t be afraid to take some more.” juileta smiled warmly at you. you nodded and sighed softly.
the conversation went on and a few laughs were settled in to make the mood less awkward. just then as you put down your fork, indicating you were done, abuela spoke up again.
“por fin! i got worried you were going to eat all the food. i wouldn’t doubt it.” she chuckled and nodded to herself “your cheeks are so chubby, like a chipmunk.” she used her hands to indicate how ‘fat’ your face was.
“she’s absolutely gorgeous, i’m quite glad she’s eating and comfortable enough to eat.” he put his arm around your waist protectively under the table. “whatever you say mijo, she should lay back on eating so much though, unless you want a fatter novia.” she got up with her plate.
you looked down at your tummy, it grossed you out how you looked already but now you feel even worse. you knew you weren’t good enough for camilo and Alma confirmed that. shaky breathing started to overcome you, not wanting to have a panic attack in front of everyone. you made an excuse to leave. camilo left for a moment and you got up.
“sorry i..uh..have a uhm curfew.” you gulped the knot away that was in your throat “im sorry i have to leave so early. tell camilo goodnight for me, uh please.” you said a quick goodbye to everyone and left while camilo was still in the bathroom.
while walking home you couldn’t contain your tears anymore, they all spilled out. you weren’t pretty enough, skinny enough, your personality was boring, and you weren’t good enough for camilo, you knew this already but did it have to be said by another person?
you didn’t want to go home like this so instead you went on the bridge. your head was spinning a million miles per second. you sat down and pressed your knees against your chest. hyperventilating and not being able to breath.

“where’d she go?” camilo came out of the bathroom. “she said she had a curfew…” mirabel said picking up the plates. camilo knew she was lying, her curfew isn’t at 7, it’s at 10.
he quickly ran out the door and tried looking for y/n. “there you are..” he sighed in relief that she’s still here, but his heart was devastated when he saw her in a ball. he jogged over to her and got down to her level. “amor?” his tone of voice was sweet and comforting. he pulled y/n for a hug as her unsteady breath made him feel so much make worse. “im so sorry..” camilo said over and over again.

“im sorry..” he whispered into your ear, his tender voice made you cry even more. “please don’t cry..”
you departed yourself from him, repeating in your head that “you’re not good enough for him”. looking down at your lap, trying to steady your breathing.
“y/n…hey i know..” he sighed trying not to cry himself “please…look at me..!” he scooped you up and kissed your tears. “why don’t you want to look at me?” his eyes got watery.
“because..i..i don’t deserve you.” you hiccuped from the lack of air you had. “that’s not true, that’s so not true. you’re more than enough. y/n y/l/n.” he lifted up your chin, making you have direct eye contact with him. “don’t ever say that, you’re the one i love and adore, you’re more than enough and you’ll always be enough..okay?” he kissed your forehead.
“but-“ you tried to argue, instead he kissed you. “stop..please. you’re so beautiful no matter what anyone says.” he leaned his forehead on your. “i love you.” he smiled to himself as your breath calmed.
he cradled you and whispered small affirmations to you. “i love you camilo.” you whispered quietly, your throat sore form crying. “you do?” he tilted his head, smiling softly as a blush crept on his face. you nodded and looked up at him. “i do.”
he chuckled shyly and pulled you into his chest so you wouldn’t see him blushing. “i love you.” he mumbled just loud enough so you could hear.

HMMM what are my thoughts on it? Well, let’s split it in two: Deku’s side and Todoroki’s side, because that’s how it’s split in my brain atm, and allow me to start from the second because it’s easier to get through for me
I’m in love with everything Hori is doing with Todoroki and everyone involved with him - that’s to say his whole whole family and Hawks and Jeanist too, all of it, I’m so into it it’s no joke at all. Always been in love with how he handles Enji’s character and his interactions with his family and the latest developments didn’t disappoint me at all, wasn’t very much into Dabi right after the “reveal” but the more I think about it and about the story from his pov the more behind it I am, forever and always head over heels for Shouto’s way of dealing with a situation that’s as complex as one would expect from a protagonist of their very own story you could really make a manga out of the Todoroki’s family plot from Shouto’s pov alone, it’s incredible I can’t state how in love with it all I am enough. And Hawks, don’t make me start on him I’ll straight up never stop, absolutely and most definitely my favorite pro-hero I would trust him with my money and my kids 100/10 just assume I’m constantly crying over him. Also Jeanist is just hilarious so bless him and his presence in an otherwise too heavy story
Deku’s side........ well, the main problems I have with it are that one, I don’t really understant the need to keep ofa a secret from the class for the biggest part of the story when the reveal wasn’t forced upon Deku, didn’t have a huge impact on him or his relationship with the others (his leaving wasn’t directly caused by him coming clean after all, he wouldn’t have had to leave earlier had he not kept it a secret and he would have still left at this point had the class already known all along) and didn’t, like. Matter. All that much. Two, this manga is called my hero academia and I’m genuinely starting to wonder why. What was the point of all the arcs set inside the school anyway? Most of the characters growth (Deku’s especially) and the progression of the main plot happened in the arcs outside of the school anyway, and at this point it’s clear we’re not going back to the school after this or even seeing anyone graduate. What of Shinsou? What was the point of his plot when we’re not even gonna see him being active part of the class in a school environment? I’m just confused about it all, I guess. Three, which is really my biggest problem with it all, is the way Deku’s set on saving Shigaraki. It’s not like I don’t like a story in which all the villains are saved and the good guys win and love prevails and all that, call it corny but they’re exactly my type of stories, but I’m not sure I can get behind it when Twice died like that, and Midnight did as well, and Aizawa lost a leg, and Nighteye died, and Hawks might have lost his wings, and Shirakumo ended up Kurogiri and it’s still unclear whether he can be saved, like... why does Shigaraki get to be saved when so many people suffered like that? And it’s not only about them suffering by his hands, it’s about Hori and how he was ruthless with so many characters but lets the story show arbitrary kindness to Shigaraki alone, it’s all... well. Unfair. The way I see it. At this point I at the very least expect kindness for Touya as well, here.
That said if I pick the chapters one by one by themselves I do enjoy them very much. I just don’t gotta think about the big picture lmao AH but it’s all a personal opinion, of course! I know people who enjoy the way the story is going and I can see where they’re coming from, this is all arbitrary tastes and preferences on my part, I’m aware of it!

THANK YOU happy to hear you liked jjk!!!! And that’s!!! a great question, I’m not sure I have an answer actually? I binged the manga in a day and a half, you see, and when I binge stuff that fast I rarely stop to overthink things - I did ship them as I read too since, well. They’re in love lmao but I shipped them in the same way I shipped itafushi or yuutoge after I read the prequel, you know? Just a general aknowledging of how good they were together. The main point with satosugu specifically was probably that satoru has been my favorite character since the beginning of the story and suguru got there as well as soon as I read their backstory, so once I was caught up they’re the ones I ended up spending the most time thinking about, both by themselves and together, and that ended up making me a bit obsessed..... just a bit lol
If I had to give one specific moment that got me by the heart and squeezed the hardest it’d be... probably Satoru’s “my soul knows otherwise”. And the way his voice alone could bring Suguru back, even for just a single moment. The thing about satosugu for me!!! one of the many things about them, but the main thing for me, is that they love each other. Be it platonic or however you wanna see it, they love each other. Despite everything and after it all, even if Satoru had to kill Suguru, even if Suguru killed so many and betrayed Satoru and they went their separate ways in the harshest of ways, they love each other. It’s insane, isn’t it? That they’d love each other so much they could pass over everything and anything. I’ve seen the “best friends become enemies” trope so often in shounen manga, but this is the first time I see it treated like this - with love so strong that they never blamed each other or turned that love in hate. The way satosugu do it is all-encompassing! It goes beyond the world and their differences and death itself! So if I had to pick it’d be that one, because that scene happens after it’s all over, and it all went to shit and way beyond too already, and still their souls resonate with each other and answer to each other and that sends me insane, just thinking about it. Like, god, they really still love each other. Satoru’s mourned for Suguru for a year, Suguru’s been dead for a year, they’d been separated ten whole years before then, and still! And still!!! It’s so tender I don’t know how to deal with it

A broad chest slams itself onto poor Atsushi’s face, cutting him mid-sentence. A pair of strong bandaged arms wrap around his waist, preventing his cute ass from kissing the floor.
“Ah, Atsushi-kun, you always manage to make some sort of contact with me. Can’t you wait until tonight?”
Atsushi blushes and tries pushing the brunet away.
“D-Dazai! Not now, not here!”
“Why not?”
He leans down to Atsushi’s level, biting his earlobe.
“Everyone knows you belong to me. You shout it out to the city every night, after all.”
The poor boys face heats up even more and he tries pushing Dazai away, to no avail. Dazai’s grip on his waist was too strong. Atsushi gives up and hides his face in his hands.
The bandaged man grins, pecking the shorter male and striding over to Yosano’ s office.
The sudden lack of contact makes Atsushi whimper and lose balance. He grabs onto the nearest surface to support himself; his knees weren’t quite helping him.
“You should read some spice, you know.”
He jumps at the voice, turning behind to spot little Kyoka.
“What?”
“Read some... exciting stuff. You can find it literally anywhere. That way you will be less flustered when he flirts with you. If you want a link or something, hit me up.”
Atsushi gulps, wondering why the child is giving him relationship advice.
“Wait a minute. Why do you know where to read all that stuff?!”
She gives him an ‘Are you serious?’ look.
“Take a guess, dumbass.”
She walked away, leaving a dumbfounded and shocked baby tiger behind.
....
Dazai walked home a little after his boyfriend. He had to go with Ranpo to get some job done. Unfortunately, he actually had to do some work today. Sighing, he shrugged off his coat, hanging it on the rack near the door. Kicking off his shoes, he called out to his lover.
“Atsushi? I’m home!”
He frowned on not hearing a reply, but then again, the boy must have been busy on his phones and have his headphones on or something. Sighing, he strolled into the kitchen, downing a glass of water. All he wanted now was a hot shower and some cuddles.
He reached the bathroom only to find it running. Knocking on the door, he leaned his ear on the sill.
“Atsushi?”
He heard a muffled “Hai?” from inside. Smiling, Dazai leaned against the door, crossing his arms.
“Aren’t you going to come out, Atsushi? Are you going to ignore me?”
An evil smirk grew on his face.
“I’ll be right there! I am not trying to ignore you! Dazai? I’ll be out in a minute! Please don’t be upset!”
Dazai ignored the platinum blonde’s requests and walked away, snickering to himself. An evil plan had found itself in the brunet’s mind.
...
Atsushi hurriedly flung his towel around his waist, stumbling out the washroom. The last thing he wanted was his darling being mad at him. He did not want to upset Dazai. He meant too much to Atsushi. Dazai was his saviour, mentor and lover. Every morning when he wakes up, the first thing he sees is the gorgeous man. That is more than he could ask for; to have such an amazing human being by his side.
He rushed to the hall to find Dazai on the couch, an arm strung over his face. He must have fallen asleep. A pit of sadness grew in Atsushi’s stomach. He felt guilty for making him wait for so long.
He grabbed a soft blanket from his cupboard and headed over to the pretty man. Spreading it open, he gently wrapped it around the sleeping beauty. Just as he was about to leave, he was pulled onto the couch.
“Gah!”
Atsushi now laid with his back on the cushion, with Dazai straddling him. A sadistic smirk stretched his lips as he began tickling the poor boy.
“AHAHAHA! STOP, STOP! AHAHAHAHAHAAHA!”
Dazai only grinned like a maniac and continued his cruel attack, loving the way Atsushi squirmed and shook under him. The soft and honest laughs made Dazai’s heart flutter. A warmth spread in his chest. He truly was a lucky an to have found such an angel.
Suddenly halting his ministrations, Dazai smiled softly at Atsushi.
Atsushi collected his breath before looking up at his assailant with an angry pout. It soon dissolved when he noticed the loving expression on Dazai’s face.
“What is it?”
Dazai grinned boyishly.
“I love it when you laugh.”
Atsushi blushed, covering his face with his hands.
“You are going to kill me with your words one day, I swear.”, he mumbled.
“Ah, I can’t have you dying on me, now, can I?”
Dazai’s gaze flickered down Atsushi’s bare chest. Licking his lips, he slowly trailed his fingers along it, teasing and tickling at the same time.
Shivers ran down Atsushi’s spine. He did not know whether it was because of the lingering touches or the hungry gaze in Dazai’s eyes.
Leaning forward, Dazai kissed Atsushi’s neck, breathing along his jaw.
“Do you want to feel alive, Atsushi?”, Dazai breathed into his ear.
Atsushi’s breath hitched and he gulped.
“Please... make me feel alive.”
Dazai smirked, licking a stripe along Atsushi’s neck, making his eyes flutter closed.
“That’s what I like to hear, baby.”

Hahah you are right. I guess I do have a thing for puppy boys.
We are staying in an airbnb across the river from Seoul but it's in a more expensive district from what we can tell haha. So we might spend a bit more time outside of that area and more time in Seoul. We want to take a day trip to Busan but also want to try to go to some hanok villages (oh please tell me if I am so wrong with my explanations), the markets, honestly just anywhere we can see things that are older than anything that I personally could even imagine.
Also the food! I am so excited to try different things. We also want to go to Lotte tower and the aquarium though I'm sure that is the most tourist thing to say haha.
Honestly we are always writing down new places and trying to see if we can get there for our trip and always looking for recommendations.
We are going in November like the 27th through December 5th (we will be there for my birthday) so there should be a lantern festival taking place. So that is also of course on the list of things to appreciate.
I too have a thing for groups like that. I'm not sure how you feel about 4th gen groups like Stray Kids but it's one reason I find them so fascinating, their self producing. Ugh and that's also why I just love Jihoon and honestly Chanyeol so much. Their time spent in studios. I mean Jihoon is on another level even compared to Chanyeol but the talent in these people is just astounding.
I agree the stalking and paparazzi is everywhere but I do see it more prevalent in k-pop. It's a bit more scary too. The idols share so much with us and I do love that but it's also giving so much to these people who wish them harm or are a bit too delusional. I just want them safe and happy. I respect and love them from a distance in my own deululu way haha.

i can't really get into any other group bc the svteenies have a vice grip on me tbh KJFDKJDFKJDFKJ but i do see the appeal in 4th gen <3 (although i also cannot see myself getting into them -bgs specifically- bc they are mostly younger 😭😭, BUT i still find myself listening to them/watching them sometimes) and youre SOOO valid!! i respect these people sm, aside from the skill and creativity it requires, the process must be SOO tedious as well bc of the labels

9. Favorite canon outfit of theirs
OK OK you know that scene in Night of the Living Pharmacists where Isa pulls her belt and her pink outfit just TRANSFORMS into the Fireside Girl uniform as she just puts her hat on out of nowhere?
THIS SCENE LIVES RENT FREE IN MY BRAIN IT’S JUST THE COOLEST THING WE LOVE A QUICK CHANGE!!!!!! (Her shoes even change color like! WHAT SORCERY IS THIS???) I love both of her regular outfits, but I’m especially fond of the pink one because I’ve drawn it so much (I wish it was in CATU for more than just the images in the beginning!)
I also really her “Helen” outfit in “Troy Story”!!! I LOVE the curly hair and all the accessories (I’ve also always thought togas were cool—yes i went through a Greek mythology phase🤣—and would have LOVED to have a costume like this as a kid). And it reminds me of Meg from Hercules!!

10. My favorite moment with them in canon
OK we’re gonna attempt to do separate and together (which will be hard because i love them sm)
Phineas: Oblivious Phineas is just. The best. And not just oblivious-to-Isabella’s-romantic-feelings-Phineas, but Oblivious-to-sarcasm-Phineas, oblivious-to-Candace-wanting-to-get-him-in-trouble-Phineas, it’s just SO FUNNY (and also #relatable). There’s this scene in “The Mom-Attractor” where he falls for Candace’s sarcasm and is like “woAH you got me, FERB she got me! I totally fell for it!!” Like, I’m not even particularly fond of that episode but that scene has stuck with me recently, both because it’s relatable AND because he takes falling for Candace’s sarcasm in stride and views it as a testament to her sarcasm skills rather than a shortcoming on his part. It’s just a nice way of viewing life, I could use that kind of thinking more often😅
Isabella: Ok I love all the scenes where she gets mad about someone else using her catchphrase or insulting Phineas, they crack me up🤣. ALSO her final moment to be the hero in NOtLP when everyone else is infected, that is JUST!!! PEAK CINEMA!!!! I love that she got to be the final hero!!!!!! IT’S SO GOOD. Also the “ominous patch related threat” bit in CATU, I would tattoo that scene to my forehead if I could.
BOTH OF THEM: My favorite Phinabella moment is the sunset scene in “Summer Belongs To You.” It captures their relationship dynamic (and what makes it compelling) SO WELL and shows how much they care for one another. It’s one of my favorite scenes in anything ever. Like….Isa realizing she’d rather Phineas be true to himself even if it means losing a “romantic” moment with him? Phineas exclaiming that she’s the best and giving her a hug?? FANTASTIC CONTENT MY FRIENDS FANTASTIC CONTENT!!!!!! (And also the scene in LDOS when Phineas breaks the fourth wall and mentions Isa kissing him and then REFERENCES THEIR FUTURE AND WINKS AT HER IT’S JUST!!!!! GAH!!!! I LOVE IT!!!)

he intervenes when a drunk guy won’t leave you alone
a/n: i think i’m just in love w like middle blockers + futakuchi being rude lmao it wasn’t supposed to be drunk guy but like for some reason it all ended up being set in parties or a club so oh well,,,,,also mattsuns got a lil self induldgent i can’t lie

warnings: aggressive “flirting”, non consensual touching, bad words, alcohol, underage drinking (mentioned)
summary: he intervenes when a drunk guy just wont leave you alone feat. tendou, mattsun + futakuchi
it’s your third year at shiratorizawa and you somehow get roped in to attending some party over summer break
the musics too loud, too many of your classmates are here and you can think of about a million other things to be doing than watching rich kids suck down cheap booze
thankfully one of your friends has been stuck by your side the whole time, the two of you talking and laughing hiding in a corner
but as fate would have it your friend sees the person they like
you reassure them you’ll be perfectly fine and that they shouldn’t miss the opportunity to talk to their crush
famous last words lmao
“so you go to shiratorizawa?” you turn your head away as the guy leans in, scrunching your nose as the smell of alcohol wafts past your nose. you shift slightly as he continues to box you into the corner and you’re wondering if a good shove will save you from this situation.
“yeah, what of it?” you’re eyes scan across the room trying to find a familiar face, someone you can call out to as to distract this drunken idiot.
“that’s sooo fuckin hot, rich babes like you are sooo hot.” the way each slur of his words is punctuated with his wandering eyes makes you feel a little sick. you decide your best bet is to shove him as hard as you can and make a break for it.
“shall i throw this one out the window y/l/n?” the drunk guy looks back, exposing tendou looming over him with a wicked smile.
“tendou,” you breathe out in relief at the familiar face, “always a pleasure.”
“i know i know, i’m a beauty, so whaddya say? toss him out the window or into the trash?”
“hey! im-”
“not worth it, help me out though,” you gesture with a nod of your head towards the guy trapping you against the wall, tendou grabs the guys shoulder and pushes him aside, making a way for you to walk past him, “can’t have one of our star volleball players getting into a fight at party for lil ol’ me.”
“now now y/l/n~ i would happily throw several drunk guys for you, any day of the week.” he slings an arm around your shoulders and you smile up at him.
“yeesh tendou if you’re gonna keep defending my honor like that at least take me dinner to first.”
“how about ice cream? there’s a place still open down the block.” he taps a finger against his chin and leans more of his weight onto you.
“you sure do know the finer sides of romance.” you wiggle out from under his arm and grab his hand, dragging him towards the front door.
agreeing to catch up with your high school friends always ended up like this
oikawa dragging iwaizumi onto the dance floor
hanamaki wandering around chatting up random girls until he found one he could sneak off with for a bit
and you sitting at the bar nursing your drink while your boyfriend is nowhere to be seen,,,which means he’s either following makki around to heckle him or oikawa and iwaizumi to take pics

“heyyyy sweetheart, looking for sssome company?” you roll your eyes as some guy settles next to you at the bar, he’s way too close for comfort and the glassy look in his eyes makes you wonder how he’s still standing.
“not at all.” your tone is clipped and you take a long sip of your drink, ignoring the slight burn in your throat.
“y-you are waay to sssexy to be here by yourself.” you feel a hand run down your back and you stifle a gag, you shrug him off, rolling your eyes again at his exaggerated frown.
“he’s right, you’re way too hot to be here, you got a boyfriend or something?” you bite your lip as your boyfriend’s voice cuts through the loud music, you turn to look at him and flutter your lashes.
“and if i do?”
“he’s a real lucky guy.” matsukawa makes a show of running his eyes up and down your body, you try your hardest not to squirm under his gaze.
“hey mannn i saw this cutie first!” the two of you look back at the drunk guy, both of your gazes passive and uninterested. matsukawa moves to put his hands on either side of you and you spin around on the barstool to face him, he leans in close.
“so anyway this boyfriend of yours, is he hot?” you tilt your head as you take in his expression, dilated pupils, lips parted, cheeks flushed slightly from the combination of alcohol and being in a hot club. you send him a confident smirk and relish in the way his eyes focus in on your lips.
“he’s super hot, just so tall and fit,” you press your index finger to his chest, dragging it down slowly, “and he’s packing.”
“what a lucky bastard,” he tilts his head forward, his nose just barely touching yours, “wanna go fuck in the gross club bathroom?”
“you know i do baby.”
you had been looking foward to the food festival that would be taking place over the weekend
i mean!! sm good food to be had plus there might be a cutie to be seen!
your friends had already put together the perfect plan, everyone would go to the food booths they wanted to try the most then yall would meet back at a bench just a little outside of the festival
the perfect plan! you know until you get back first and some drunk guy has to come bother you
“aren’t you a real cute one?” you look up from your ice cream to raise a brow at the man standing over you, swaying slightly as he leers at you. you eat another spoonful as you try to look around the man to see if any of your friends have arrived to your meeting spot yet. you’re wondering if ignoring the man will make him lose interest and move on or just become more persistent.
“hey hey i’m talking to you, be more polite and respond.” you hold back on rolling your eyes, continuing to eat your ice cream and looking around now starting to get a little desperate for one of your friends to appear.
“my dear kouhai, fancy meeting you here.” your head whips over to see futakuchi pull himself over the back of the bench to settle next to you.
“ah futakuchi-senpai hello, are you enjoying the festival?”
“i was, until koganegawa decided to start following me around,” you smile as he slaps his hand against his forehead, “the kid’s nice but god does he give me a headache.”
“koganegawa-kun sure is a big ball of energy.” you laugh.
“what the fuck you’ll talk to this guy but not me?” you and futakuchi look up at the guy, who’s now pointing a finger at you and looks ready to fall over at any second.
“tch, you’re still here?” futakuchi’s voice rings out next to you, and you’re not sure what kind of face he’s making, but it sends the drunk man stumbling back with his face blanching.
“w-whatever.” the man turns around, tripping over his feet and heads back towards the festival.
“what a dumbass,” you turn back towards futakuchi and smile softly as he sighs and leans his head back, “you didn’t wanna tell him to just fuck off?”
“i don’t have a scary face like you senpai.” you giggle at the indignant squawk that leaves futakuchi’s mouth. he pouts at you and you let out another soft laugh. “sorry it’s a nice face though.”
“gah if it’s so nice then come with me to get some takoyaki, stupid koganegawa started chasing me around before i could get any.” he stands up and reaches a hand towards you, you hesitate for a just a second before taking it and he pulls you along with him. you see your friends as futakuchi pulls you into the crows, sending them a sheepish wave as you pass by, knowing you’ll have some serious explaining to do.
