FINISHED THE DARKRAI QUEST AND OH BOY

Let's start with the more important bits: Richard is coming along in this quest. His jealousy is burning after Taka comes back and he is more inclined to stay besides Leo and isolate him further. And he is also the one that catches Darkrai. Don't worry, it doesn't stay with him for long.

Now, onto Leo's nightmare and fucking hell. It's pretty much canon now the mc has severe guilt over a lot that has happened in reborn, blaming themselves for the deaths of others. Leo is no exception. When Coley said that "everything you touch is toxic" and reaffirming Leo's own thoughts and fears that breaks him. Especially since in Leo's experience, once a person is out of the anomaly, they hopefully be in a better headspace space. But for Coley it was the reverse and Leo takes his words as truth. Then the guy jumps again, making Leo relive his first trauma THEN HE SEES ADRIENN GET MAULED BY HYDREIGON LIKE!!!!! TRAUMATIZE HIM A SECOND TIME WHY DON'T YOU.

And then when he's following Luna he's so exhausted and lost that he just keeps following her not thinking of where he is or why. He just. Walks. It isn't until he hears a distant yet familiar voice telling him to turn around and go the other way ( it's Suraya). During this segment I think it would be fair for Richard to have his own little nightmare too. The one good thing that Shiv does here ( even when he's also emotionally manipulating Leo ). I don't know what Richard's nightmare would be.....and if it would make him worse.

Going back to Leo's nightmare a bit I can't help but feel that Leo would also have some stuff regarding his future bfs. The heartbreak that he feels about them. Maybe they belittle him, questioning why they were ever attracted to him, why they bother when all he has ever done was hurt them. Leo's family might come too, saying his disappointed they are of him, saying their ashamed to even have him as their son. And keep in mind, up until the Luna part, Richard sees all of this. Richard knows this now. He got some stuff before, with Leo being vulnerable with him, but now Richard knows even more. More details about leo's insecurities. Knows how to keep Leo wrapped in his fingers. To keep Leo his. even when he no longer loves him. Honestly, I think this whole tier is when Richard starts to cheat. If not here, it's definitely where Richard gets the idea too, since Richard is constantly feeling threatened by all the guys Leo interacted with. Cain, Cal, Taka, even Fern.

Hnnnng, Suraya needs to hurry up and get out cause man, Leo desperately needs it.

Comic books are SUCH a pain in the ass hobby! lol

Just like, what day does Detective Comics come out on DC? The fourth Tuesday of every month, or the last Tuesday of every month!? It WAS the fourth Tuesday of the month, but now it's the last Tuesday! WHICH IS IT DC!? Also it was a pain in the ass to learn even this much. For a style of storytelling that wants you to buy Every. Single. Issue of a story, to an outsider, the publishing practices and how to go about collecting a story that you like sure are difficult to figure out! And this is just Detective Comics... You know... THE COMIC SERIES YOUR FUCKING COMPANY IS NAMED AFTER!??? I keep learning new (and stupid) things about comics every time I go to the comic book store! lol. Getting into this hobby was... A Time. And it still is A Time to be honest!

In any case, it just so happens that the next issue of Detective Comics should be coming out on my birthday! So happy day for me! But the thing is... I've been eyeing this alternate cover for this upcoming issue for literal MONTHS! I want it and it is very pretty! But it turns out that's a "ratio" cover. This is a 1:25 cover. Meaning that you can only get this cover if you order at least 25 copies of his particular issue! Rare, certainly but there are actually several comic shops in my area and I've found some that might have it. But another thing I learned the last time I went to the comic book store is that they charge ratio covers accordingly... So to buy this issue with this particular cover... It would cost $25. Which is leaving me VERY torn! Because on one hand, pretty cover! It has Harvey and I love that guy! But on the other, that price is a lot fro a single issue. A normal issue of Detective comics is like... $5. So that's like 5 times more expensive. Which is very eesh... But... But just... Pretty art! And it IS going to be my birthday! More pricey, sure! But as a birthday gift to me...? Why, that's not so bad!

Basically it's leaving me conflicted. I don't know what to do about actually getting that cover or not. And we may have to hunt around for it too. >.< HNNNNG! CONFLICTED!!!

Another one for the personality aspect tbh. He's very shy most of the time, but he can be assertive when he wants to be, so lots to play with when writing him which I like. However, I will say that his appearance is what drew me in at the very start, so maybe that.

The way that he's treated in comics and most media hnnnng. He's always someone else's clown or plot device, never his own person. Like.... NEVER. I get it, someone needs to be the henchman I guess- but this is just relentless sksksksk I'd like to see him with a moment of triumph or even redemption sometime.

At his core, he's really not a bad guy, he's just so severely rejected by literally everyone else, he feels like he has no choice but to play the villain half the time

Favorite Line

This is always hard for me bc 1) I never really pay close attention to lines and 2) I haven't actually consumed much content with Toad in it bc I don't usually like how he's represented ksskssk I did like his line in the Wolverine school comic or whatever where when he's asked what he had to say in his defense for all the shit with the hellfire club attack he says "All I did, I did for love"

It sticks out to me bc it shows he has at least something of a poetic or intellectual side, aside from the fact that he's actually very caring, perhaps even empathetic towards a romantic partner. It's also extremely fucking sad bc it goes to show how he's so easily manipulated all the time, considering he'll do quite literally ANYTHING to get his targeted person(s) to like him even just a little, but yeah

HNNNNG this flashback was so fucking good, it showed us everything I wanted to see about the progression of our relationship with the boys. Ran’s “they what?” when he found out that the Sugawara boys are mean to us fucking had me all giddy, his need to protect us just has me like adfasdjkl 🤩. Also really liked seeing us interact with typical kid banter and bickering it helps to show our age at the time, super cute. And I can’t even describe how I felt over us dancing with Rin, he got so flustered and nervous and it was hella cute to read it had me squealing, ah young blossoming love🥰 ; I love the HC that Rin gets easily flustered over shows of affection. And Ran over by his lonesome just getting jealous over his brother, I feel like this further solidifies my idea that Rin will back off or deny his love for us to allow Ran to have us especially since he mentioned he has a hard time reading Ran when he’s like that, probably really concerns him and doesn’t wanna risk Ran hating him. The smack talk we gave Sakuya fucking sent me, we’re witty sassy queens and I love that for us. We called the boys family that’s so hella cute and I feel like that just gives them more trust in us since they have a thing for sticking up for family 😊.

I really liked the comparisons to the past explosion and the current one we experienced, though it was a really great way to explain to us what the past one was like. I had a feeling that the past explosion was rigged but now I’m wondering what kind of trouble we were in to make our uncle think an explosion was needed to help us, or was this just so that we could absorb the other company Suvala? 🤔

I feel like the way you portrayed us as being very concerned over the explosion and not the fact that Sanzu was possibly going to slit our throat was really well done. Because that’s completely what it’s like when you go into shock you either don’t care/focus on anything or you focus on one thing whether it was the right thing to focus on or not. Thank god that South is still alive and for his quick thinking to make it a hostage situation to keep us alive😥 . Man Rindou turning on Sanzu for trying to take us out like they were ordered to made me so happy, but not surprised since he was desperately trying to get Sanzu to call off the hit before. Also, I’m glad everyone is ok, tho we don’t know about Senju I think she’s fine cuz I still believe that she has ulterior motives in this group and had this explosion thing planned. Also, the way Hanma treats us and quite literally saved us by sacrificing himself to the explosion makes me think he’s more on our side than we think, especially after his statement that we should hold Sugawara accountable for his assumption that the weapons weren’t there makes it seem like Hanma really doesn’t like the guy. The way that our uncle looked when we walked into the room and how nonchalant Sugawara was over the explosion tells me that they knew it was probably going to happen or even were a part of it happening.

OKAY SO. starting from between Satan and Solomon during Sol's bday, there was the following exchange:

Near the beginning of this event, when you're setting up Sol's bday party with the brothers, Satan agrees to help right away.

He specifically says that Solomon is always doing things to help you guys out. It's pretty apparent that Satan has quite a lot of respect for the sorcerer, and even appreciation for his intellect.

Fun little HC: Satan knows that Solomon wants a pact with Lucifer, and likes the idea of getting Solomon to go after him, instead.

Note that in this event, Lucifer doesn't publicly give Solomon a card. When it's delivered later, the message is direct and impersonal >.> methinks Mammon wasn't the only one jealous -

The point being, Satan gets along quite well with Solomon, and even admires him to some degree, which Solomon quite appreciates (he expresses to you later just how thankful all these well-wishes make him feel, and Satan's message was probably the most personal).

Solomon also says "That does sound like something you would say, Satan" - implying he knows Satan pretty well... perhaps he's been paying more attention to him than he realizes >.>

ANYWAYS. To continue!

In the Devilgram for the "Wishes" card - I forget the exact name, but Satan and Solomon are on it, along with big cat.

Here's were some genuinely fun dynamics start to show up.

GOD I FUCKING LOVE IT WHEN. MC can act wacky like this. Satan's response is disappointing but Solomon doesn't miss a beat clarifying, and Satan gets right into it~

And then we get more of Solomon knowing Satan pretty well - after all, he DID name the group chat "Cat(3)"!

(It should be noted though, in season 1, and Satan's early devilgrams, his interest in cats is a surprise to MC - he seems to be more open about it, at least to his brothers, as seasons go on)

MC is allowed to totally empathize with Satan (it's cat(3) after all hehe) and Solomon is just hanging out there, empathizing with it.

If you pick the option to say you're not sure if you can do it, you get an encouraging remark from Solomon, ever the supporter~

And if you ask Satan for another wish, he says he's totally fine... and Solomon insists, a good sorcerer of the people does NOT let hopeful Satans go wanting!! (while snickering to himself lol)

THEY ARE!!! ADORABLE TRIO!!! AN ABSOLUTE TREAT!! And it's not over here.

When you give Satan his giant cat, he's positively delighted, and Solomon actually seems to find him quite charming.

Honestly he totally is. Satan fawning over adorable giant kitty,,, hnnnng,,, totally heart-melting tbh. And he wants you to join in, too!!

I love!!! Normally calm intellectuals fawning over the things they love and gushing about them to other people! IDEAL!!! RELATIONSHIP!

One person going giddy (or as close to "giddy" as Solomon's old man face can express) while the other two are just happy to be helping,,,,

And of course, later on, when you offer to re-cast the spell that made the cat giant, Solomon steps in with the Wisdom, gets you to temper yourself.

MC is often prone to overreaching, in various ways that can totally get them killed (even if you don't choose those options all of the time... SEE: Season 1 lol), and Satan and Solomon together - despite being a little bit wacky in their own ways - still try to hold you back.

And of course, Satan and MC combined can be an absolute MENACE, worthy of the Avatar of Wrath and his master

Solomon's expression when he asks you what you want with the stone is absolutely hilarious. He's very genuinely concerned XD

It's not surprising given his age, but Solomon's basically the Adult of the group, when you and Satan go feral/ultra mischievous. Tbh it's pretty great.

It's an absolutely hilarious day when Solomon has to be the voice of reason in the group. With Satan being so normally rational, and his apprentice being normally reasonably nice, he's definitely in for the trip of a lifetime XD

They're just all!! Unique brands of feral/weird!! Satan, Solomon, and MC all bring so many fun attitudes and abilities to the table.

Plus the fact that Lucifer is a pretty important person to each of them, but in drastically different ways LMAOOO. Their motivations may diverge, but they're here for one another anyways - to enable, and sometimes, perhaps,,, to balance XD

MC is definitely a positive influence in Satan's life and as Solomon's apprentice I daresay you're a grounding figure in Solomon's life, or even the central focus of his thoughts a lot of the time.

I will clarify that I do not ship them in a romantic or sexual way, really, I personally think they're just good friends like imo Rohan is absolutely aromantic and Jotaro is aroace (or on the aroace spectrums), they have no real interest in each other, they're just chilling, they are simply friends they've both got Issues that most other people never get to see or hear about and I don't think that they're quite the type to share those things with each other, but they at least understand that about one another and kinda act as a harbor for the other when everything is Too Much, no talking, nothing deep or confessional, just someone who Gets It that you can go and be near because being alone sounds miserable but no one else would understand (or would try to make you Talk About It) they're simply friends and I think that's all that matters HOWEVER Rohan absolutely does have good taste, Jotaro is attractive, but he only ever flirts or teases him jokingly (and Jotaro knows that); Jotaro will yare yare and pretend to be annoyed, but it is a little funny, if not endearing at times And Jotaro's sense of humor means that he will Not correct people who assume there's something between them and he'll occasionally say things that might imply something happened, but never clarify and never speak of it again, simply because people reacting to Them as a Thing is very funny to him Like Jotaro's talking to someone and Rohan comes up and they ask Jotaro if he knows Rohan and he just says, "Oh, yeah, the homewrecker" and never elaborates, never mentions it again, and just allows the other person to try and figure out what the fuck that means and why he said it Similarly, when Josuke pisses Rohan off, he will threaten to fuck Josuke's nephew (and Josuke's reaction is priceless every time despite having heard the empty threat enough times that it should be meaningless to him) Also uhhhh... Rohan is an artist. We know this. Star Platinum has the ability to draw with astounding accuracy and precision. Jotaro doesn't seem like the guy to use that ability all that often, but as a marine biologist, he might actually use it for scientific drawings. Rohan, someone who does have natural talent but has also been drawing his Entire Goddamn Life and practices basically always to be this good, finds this absolutely awful and disgusting and please show him more of your art he wants to hear about the sea creatures please. It pisses him off that Jotaro can just whip out Splat and bam perfect art, but Talent Recognizes Talent and he can't not appreciate truly gifted artwork, y'know? Also "research". I simply think they would be good friends and they should've interacted more in canon, that's all :)

medical update and stuff. trigger warnings in tags I’m extremely frustrated. it’s been 15 months of frustration lol so so so sick of doctors, so sick of living through this. I am tired and getting no relief you might remember, but I was given a ‘possible’ IIH diagnosis in October. we’ve been treating it like it is IIH, which means everything has always been real etc etc and the treatment is weight loss. started my ‘better eating habits’ on nov 1st. then I immediately had the thing with my chemo pill packing on a ton of excess fluid, worsening my head to the point of ER and calling my neurosurgeon, getting taken off my chemo pill, and it wasn’t until mid-december that I actually started to see any fucking weight loss cause of that my pcp told me 5lbs a month. so I’ve been right on track with that despite wishing I could lose 10 a month but that’d be starving myself so lol I’ve lost 15lbs but now something exciting is happening again!! I am retaining fluid and I have NO idea why. which means my head is now as bad as it was last summer when everything was at its worse. constant all day long, pills barely doing anything for me, vision issues, pain issues. it feels like something broke in the base of my skull/neck because I get the scariest sensations there. it’s horrible. no human being should have to live this way and I do it every single day, numerous times a day anyway I had to go to the ER last thursday A G A I N because a doctor sent me. my pupils were noticeably two different sizes. I’d noticed three days beforehand and convinced myself I was imagining it cause it wasn’t a huge difference. finally took a picture and no, def not the same size and my eye looked like it was going inward? anyway, called my pcp, they had me come in that day, he saw it from a foot and a half away, sat back, and said I need you to go to the ER, you need your brain looked at. so again, I’ve been seeing this for three days while my head has been 10/10 extreme due to pressure in it. I get there and have to wait a while but less than two hours later when they finally looked at me? gone. pupils back to normal. doctor talking down to me like I was just an anxious mess and not that another dr sent me cause he saw what I did lol and his notes were in my chart. so, wasted visit and they put a covid patient 15ft from me and intubated them, so get to remember what that sounds like forever and ever (covid patients are supposed to be separated from other ER patients). now I’m doing a 10 day quarantine while I am so severely disabled I cannot bend over to take care of my cats food/litter/etc and it’s why my mom half lives with me but she can’t right now :) getting a covid test in three hours and it’s been eight days with nothing but head issues + fluid retention so hoping it’s negative the fluid retention I had before was a side effect of my chemo pill. I don’t know why this is happening. I should be 17lbs down now and I’ve actually gained weight despite being on the same diet that lost me the 15. I’m back to 13lbs down. this makes me feel like I might be carrying 4lbs of water weight. let me break this down because yesterday a PA told me my symptoms were too ‘ambiguous’ to say if fluid retention is happening or not - fluid retention from the chemo pill was ALL felt in my stomach. it was distended and bloated like I’d eaten at a buffet every single day - head got massively worse, enough to go to the er, doc and I agreed the fluid retention causing me to fluctuate between 15lbs was making the IIH worse - not urinating often despite drinking a normal amount - got on a diuretic, seven days later the weight was gone, head was better, started losing weight this is what I’m experiencing now - fluid retention that is causing my stomach to feel very bloated and look/feel distended - head has gotten massively worse, enough to send me to the ER - should be losing weight, have actually gained weight on a low fat, low calorie diet - the only difference this time is that I am dehydrating myself (yes I know, bad, but it is literally saving my life) because I experimented one day with half my water intake and my head was miles better. still experiencing a terrible head episode once or twice a day but it’s not 10/10 constantly - and the second difference is despite not drinking enough water, I am actually urinating more often and it’s a lot more clear than it should be, the color I expect when I’m hydrating well I consider this ^^^^^ to be a good case of why I think I have fluid retention but being told my symptoms were ‘ambiguous’ and throwing me to my neurosurgeon instead is HNNNNG (esp because diuretics are known to help IIH symptoms FOR THIS EXACT REASON) I have VERY recently had my sugars checked a few times, glucose is normal. VERY recently had an abdominal CT, also normal. it’s not diabetes, it’s not something happening in my abdomen. they hear abdomen vs legs swelling and think it’s GI because doctors never fucking listen and actively put their patients in danger but o h w e l l, I guess anyway as it’s been for 15 months, I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I go this way and experience agony, I go that way and experience agony I need extra hydration for weight loss, leukemia, being obese. I need less hydration because it worsens IIH to the point of 10/10 I want to die (which makes me heavily and actively suicidal. doctors see I take anti-depressants and assume idk I’m being dramatic but no, it’s really this fucking bad. I would rather die that moment than keep feeling what’s happening in my head) there’s like no middle ground and my body and these doctors are making it impossible to figure this shit out. my mom had to come over at 1:45 AM last night (hasn’t had to rush here since april 2020 cause that’s just how bad it is) because I lost my balance twice and was lucky I had something to catch onto or I would’ve been on the ground (neuro symptoms which could be IIH, could be chiari, could be stroke) and my speech got SUPER bad almost immediately. scared the hell out of me, I have never in my life lost balance that badly before things are going downhill and I would’ve thought losing weight they’d start improving but when has my body ever made this easy lol meeting a new neurologist on monday who works in the same building with my neurosurgeon. I’ve been avoiding them cause every single one of them told me I was just anxious despite specific physical movements causing an episode lmao but hopefully this guy is better and he has access to all of my neurosurgeon’s notes and stuff. I can’t keep dehydrating myself but at the same time I can’t let my head get so bad I make a farewell note for my mom, you know? it’s just been really bad and I don’t know how to get people to listen to me. I have a 99% diagnosis and they still don’t take me as seriously as they should. this has ruined my quality of life and they would have you believe that doctors take that seriously but they do not neurosurgeon wants me to see an ophthalmologist again cause of my vision issues and to check for specific things that relate to IIH. he wants another MRI done in early may cause it’s been a year since my last one by then (actually a month later, my last one was in april, but I’m curious if the neurologist will order one sooner) to check to see if anything has worsened so yeah living in absolute hell again and don’t know if I can just get a simple one week diuretic to get this fluid out of my body. what the FUCK else can it be when I’ve experienced this exact thing twice!! before. it happened to a much, much lesser degree the first time I got on the chemo pill. but the same shit :) hanging on by the thinnest thread guys and 15 months of feeling like I’m going to die almost every single day through that has destroyed my psyche. destroyed me as a person. I don’t know what to do anymore sorry this is all a lot of Bad™ but it’s been a lot of bad for 15 months. if I can keep going, I hope one day to be able to give an update of improvement love you all

Idea for a story: I know very little about this woman but I think a korrasami college au where she tutors korra so korra can keep her athletic scholarship and they fall in love would be nice :)

Unpopular opinion: The whole Mako/Asami>Makorra>Korrasami pipeline is weird. Like I get we're dealing with Nickelodeon here and Mako getting Sokka'd is Hilarious but damn that whole situation was stupid.

Favorite relationship: Asami/Me. Duh. But also I think Bolin and Asami were funny together. I don't remember very much though.

Favorite headcanon: She drives a mo-ped right?? Consider dirtbike racer Asami I guess :D

Sokka!!!

First impression: Aw man this guy sucks. He reminds me of my brother.

Impression now: AWOOGA HELLO favorite boy best boy I love him so much. There are few characters I have ever cared about as much as I care about him. I relate to him in all the worst ways and I desperately want him to be happy. He's simultaneously the most competent genius in the world and my poor little meow meow. He's great. I love him. I look up to him. I project onto him like a motherfucker.

Favorite moment: Any and all moments where he is being vulnerable. It's never for his own sake but this boy needs to let it out sometimes, jeez. The haiku club. Killing melonlord. The moment he realizes he is going to die with Toph on the airship.

Idea for a story: I won't say much bc I've already got this one in the works but I feel like we need to explore what his life looked like between the men leaving and Aang resurfacing. I don't know if you guys realize this but he was pretty much Chief for two years??? At age 13??????????????

Unpopular opinion: I've managed to only follow smart people but I think the greater fandom doesn't appreciate Sokka's intellect as much as it should. Like. This guy is not your average Joe goofball funny guy who only serves to be a sexist sidekick to his sister. He is bar-none the smartest character in the entire show, and his whole arc is about learning and growing into this world he's never seen before. He is cynical and mean and self-deprecating and kind of an asshole but that's all because he's a child of war and had to be the man of his tribe FAR before he was actually a man. S1E1 Sokka is 1% of who Sokka is but some of y'all act like he didn't grow.

Favorite relationship: Sokka has such beautiful relationships with all of the main cast so it's ridiculously hard to choose. Sokka and Katara have a lovely complex sibling relationship and how much they love each other bleeds into every single moment of the show. Nobody knows them like they know each other but they still have so much to learn as they go on this journey together. I like him and Toph because that's simultaneously his buddy and his little sister. It's the S&K relationship without the baggage which puts S in this position of Protector (which Toph would not like him thinking that way pre-finale) AND Pal and Toph is such a good friend for him? Like she's got all of his snark and brashness without the cynicism. S&Aang is so lovely because Aang is just everybody's best friend, and I like how he forces S to have fun. I think Suki and him make a good pair because she really challenges him and Sokka gets to learn that he can't and shouldn't protect everybody and that's a really important lesson for him. and S&Zuko.... y'all already know how I feel. The parallels drive me up the wall insane. They would be the same person except that Z&K have the same personality and S&Azula would be much more similar if Ozai hadn't fucked Azula up so bad.

Favorite headcanon: Non-binary Sokka all the way. I have a post about Sokka's relationship with masculinity already so I won't expound to much on it here, but it's incredibly unhealthy and I think that in a world post-war or in a modern au he'd really kind of reckon with that relationship and realize that he's putting up this front that isn't useful to him anymore and realize that there are a lot of ways to Be A Person. also the Inuit have a term for intersex people (as far as my sources have shown and this may be completely wrong and please correct me if you know better), sipiniq, and typically they were raised as boys until they reached marrying age and then they could decide to have children or not?? Again I could be wrong but sipiniq sokka is a very interesting concept to me and could line up really well with canon.

Also Jack O'Neill is sexy jackass grandpa and fucking Teal'c and his EYEBROWS and just. Teal'c makes the show.

4. Farscape: I just. There is SO MUCH GOING ON. The ship is alive. The pilot is cool as shit. Theres a lady who's a plant. Ome guy can knock u out with his poison tongue. THERE IS A LOONEY TUNES EPISODE and one of the villains looks like he lives in a BDSM club full time.

dentist fetish 2doc drabble hnnnng

The smartly dressed woman tucked behind the tiny secretary’s desk at the front of the waiting room poked her head over the tall counter in front of her. Stuart didn’t look up from his phone, not until he heard her voice pierce through the still quiet of the dentist’s office. “We’re ready for you, Mister Pot,” 

Stuart pushed himself up to his feet and tucked his clamshell in his pocket, swiping his palms against the front of his hoodie. He stalked forwards, shoving his palms into the pockets of his jacket so that his slim shoulders hunched forwards while he walked. He really didn’t like the look of this place. From the flickering fluorescents overhead to the grimy tiles underfoot, to the secretary he’d caught smoking indoors, nothing about this tiny, private practice screamed “professional” by any definition of the word. It was, however, the cheapest place he could find, and with his shit-awful insurance and minimal allowance while away at university, Stu really couldn’t afford anything better. 

He stopped in front of the front desk, lips parting to ask something, but the petite woman behind the desk answered gruffly before he’d even spat it out, like she’d read his mind. “First door on the left, it’ll say Doctor Niccals on the doorway,”  “..Right,” He nodded once, reaching up to brush a stray blue lock out of his eyes, then proceeded down the short hallway. 

At the previously indicated doorway, Stuart found himself pausing. Behind it he could hear the hiss of gas, a guttural groan and then giddy laughter. What the hell? He reached up to rap one knuckle against the doorframe. Immediately, whoever was tucked behind it cursed, and the sound of something plastic being dropped against the hard ground sounded out, before the young adult heard a gleeful. “Come on in!”  He pushed the door open and stepped inside. He’d met with a strange looking man, sporting one of those silly doctor’s reflectors perched between his temples, the kind of thing you’d see in a cartoon, not real life. His white lab coat was unbuttoned, revealing a tight-fitting black sweater and beneath it, baggy brown pants and a thick leather belt. The strange fellow bore a huge, unnaturally wide grin across his features, wide wild eyes, and a hairstyle that looked familiar but Stuart just couldn’t place where he’d seen it before. He was crouched in a rolling stool next to a reclined examination table, and beside him, a large canister of what could only be laughing gas. The plastic mask for it was on the floor, as if it’d just been dropped.  “Evening!” It was two in the afternoon, if Stuart was remembering correctly. He fixed the other man with a puzzled look. Doctor Niccals gave the younger a beckoning palm, before slapping it against the grey faux leather of his examination table. “Come, come! Have a seat, yeah? Let’s get you fixed up, Stu-... Steward-” Stuart should’ve been alarmed that the guy couldn’t seen to recall his name. He was incredibly alarmed, in fact. Anxiety was already creeping up his spine but he didn’t want to make a fuss or be rude, only wanted this to be over with, so he corrected him cooly, sliding down against the chair gestured to.  “Stuart. Stuart Pot. I’m er... I’m here about the tooth ache?”  The doctor clapped his hands together and laughed at his own blunder, a little too loudly. “Ah! Right, right. Sorry chap, you go through as many patients as I do a day and they tend to blur together,” The waiting room was empty when Stuart had walked in, the check-in sheet he’d signed was also barren. He squinted at the other, but said nothing. 

The doctor leaned across Stu once he’d gotten settled, his fingers jamming into a cardboard box located on the small table besides the younger and extracting two blue latex gloves from its confines. He shoves his fingers into one, pulling the plastic down to his wrist before letting it snap sharply against his skin. The sound made Stuart wince. “So, which one of the little buggers has been bothering you, mm?” The second glove was pulled on, latex snapping against the older man’s wrist.  Stuart shrugged his shoulders vaguely. He felt so uneasy about this whole situation, his eyes kept darting towards that canister sitting on the ground besides the doctor. What the hell was it doing out? Wasn’t that sort of thing reserved for surgeries? The bluenette opened his mouth and reached up, poking his index finger against his left canine, before looking back towards the gas.  Niccals hummed and nodded, he reached up, gloved fingers tucking under Stu’s jaw before he gripped him, turned his face towards the doctor’s and peered into his open mouth. “Let’s see here...” He released Stuart’s jaw after a moment, before two fingers slipped past those open lips. His index finger pressed between Stu’s molars to pry his jaws further part, his middle squished against his tongue, pinning it to the base of the younger man’s mouth. The doctor’s eyes, mismatched shades of brown, fixed on that problem tooth. Stu’s tongue wriggled beneath the grip. 

This was... odd. He’d never tasted latex before, in fact he’d never had a dentist shove fingers in his mouth. It felt strangely intimate, the way those digits flexed against him while the doctor inspected his pointy canine. Above him, Niccals grunted, he was so close Stu could feel his breath puff out across his cheek. The sensation made him shudder, he flexed his jaw and swallowed around nothing.  “Uh huh. No visible cavity, lucky you! Would hate to have to drill today. Thing’s been on the fritz lately” The dentist adjusted his grip, retracting his fingers before the two digits pinched around that problem canine. “Tell me, does it hurt when I do this?” He squeezed, wiggling that painful tooth back and forth, it was just slightly lose in the poor college kid’s gums.  Stuart flinched hard, he gasped through his nose and his shoulders tensed up, a whine pouring from his open lips before he could stop it when pain shot right up to his brain. “Ow, ow- Yesh- yesh tha’ ‘urts!” Murdoc pulled back, the tsked, and then grinned. He grinned at the pained look on Stuart’s face, the cruel look made his stomach flop. 

“That’s no good, Stuey. You been remembering to brush, yeah? Been flossing like a good boy should? Mm?”  Stuart fixed the man with an incredulous look. He closed his mouth as soon as he was able, reaching up to rub at his cheek and mutter meekly. “Not as often as I should,” Murdoc, who had turned to regard a rather menacing  array of instruments to his left, froze up, his head turning too-quickly back towards the other man, a briefly furious expression overtaking his features, before they softened again. It gave Stu whiplash, really. He stared at the other, sinking as far back into the examination table as he could.  “Ohh, Stuey. You should know better,” He chuckled, leaning down at the waist to pluck the laughing gas’ mask up off of the floor by the plastic tubing connecting it to the valve. Murdoc cuppe the plastic in his palm, rolled imself up closer to the younger man, who was by now quite anxiously gripping the sides of his chair. “Not to worry, by the time we’re through here, you wont be forgetting to brush anytime soon.”  ____________________

Rwby Live Blog Part 1

hnnnng what if I live blogged my rwby rewatch It’s been like several years since I actually watched the show so I might get some stuff a little wrong heh, okay a lot wrong, I remember basically nothing. Starting with Volume 1, I plan to watch the first episode today and another episode every day until I catch up to the current volume, might take breaks if I have work to do, this is just a hobby and I need to prioritize other stuff before this.

Chapter 1: Ruby Rose Damn Red got that good music, I really like her design, it’s cool. So the ginger’s talking about dust, I think it’s kinda like gunpowder in it’s activation? Maybe it takes a spark to ignite whatever spell or something to activate? I really love this dust stuff so far, it seems really cool. OH FUUUUUUU, That huntress lady or whatever??? She has a staff thing and it just like, I bet it’s dust, but like, how does that work??? It started up a storm or something and it’s got point hail raining down??? That’s cool. The dark clouds are in a spirally thing that’s really cool. I also like her purple cloak but I don’t know why it’s all swirly at the ends, still cool. OKAY WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING. MAGIC???? Basically staff lady just used telekinesis or something by directing her wand and also the fire lady, gosh she’s hot, is using destructive fire magic or something, like it has weight to it which I can tell by how it slams into the ground. There’s no wand or anything though so like, maybe it’s like she has dust in her blood or something? And that’s how she can do magic??? That’d also make sense for wand lady, they got dust in their blood is my guess. Okay no I see more of this fire lady and she has glowing dress and that maybe means her clothes is a conduit for the dust magic. Yeah that makes sense. Oooo, so fire lady can deflect with her magic dust clothes too? Is she using the dust to hit the projectiles in the air before it hits or is she creating forcefields which deflect more widely??? Hmmmm. Oh my gosh red, that was adorable to ask your magic cop lady for an autograph, good for you girl, good for you. Hmmmm, so Red’s in trouble now for being a vigilante, is she even supposed to have a weapon like that like, girl looks 15, how can she have a blade gun??? So wand milf is talking about how she’s going to be sent home but then she’s implying that the punishment ain’t up to her, I wonder who’s in charge of wand milf then. Also what’s the structure for these “huntresses” Are they like, the defenders of the city and stuff? They hunt down criminals and those grim things which we haven’t seen yet, but how does the buisness work??? And what’s gonna happen to little Red? Ohhhh, we finding the big boss. Is it gonna be an even cooler milf? Tall vampire lady? Please be tall vampire lady. Damn. it’s an old guy with weird glasses, hasn’t brushed his hair from the looks of it. Also wtf is his fashion sense? Green on Green On Green on Green don’t look good hun, add a few muted colours in there somewhere, maybe a dark gray? Also, is he really wearing a stupid long baggy turtle neck with a brooch under a vest, under a long blazer??? Get it together man, let the milf do your fashion, or rwby or something, if you’re going to go for comfy, go for comfy, if you want business semi-casual, do that. But not whatever the hell you got, throw it in a fire already, I can’t stand to look at it. So Red’s name is Ruby Rose, got it. Wow she’s really going for that Red Thing, I wonder what her family is like if she got that sorta name. All I remember from this show is that ren and nora are my favorite’s, someone’s got an abusive family, there is ship discourse, lesbians, scary people and scary monsters, and the magic system’s fucked. Hmmmm, She got them gray eyes, I know that’s important but I got no idea how. YES! Thank you old man! I knew it was weird that she had a blade gun thing. Also, they be calling these schools weird, I think this is a private school thing, yeah that makes sense. YES GIRL! EAT ALL THEIR FOOD! LEAVE NOTHING BEHIND! Okay so her uncle’s one of her teachers, yeah I can feel the nepotism, so Red’s definitely not the one with the abusive family, now to find out which one it is, hmmmm. RED YOU ARE ADORABLE WITH THOSE LITTLE HAND THINGS ASJHFADLKJHS OH MY GOSH SHE’S RAMBLING, THAT’S PERFECT AHHHHHH Okay so there ARE police, damn, well I guess huntresses are cooler police but as we all know cops are pigs so hmmmm. I really really hope that there’s a corrupt system little red can destroy with her coolness but I’m already scared about how this system works.

Okay so back to the signal academy thing. Ruby has a sister who’s two years older than her, her uncle works at her current school, and she has a huge dangerous weapon on her at all times, uhhhhh, I fear the corruption a lot already, and what I’ve from what I’ve gotten so far, I’m not sure the creators are going to address the whole corruption thing for a while seeing as we haven’t met any good guys that aren’t fantasy cops so far. OKAY WHAT RUBY’S JUST RAMBLING IN FRONT OF HER FUTURE HEADMASTER SHE’S GOT SOME COURAGE. WHAT She’s actually going to Beacon two years early??? wtf >.> Red flags are already happening, this has to be about the silver eyes. Also, the framing of ozpin in the dark and ruby in the light *mwah* I can already tell that this guy has something wrong with him form that repeated framing style. The animation is moving around so much, bee sister’s thingies are just out there and her fashion blazer is wiggling, so weird. Golly, the digital art right next to the 3d modelling gives such a weird vibe. Also Roman Torchwick? Dang guy, that’s a sucky name. Rip my man’s whole vibe, he definitely got made fun of as a kid. Ahhhh, here’s the furries, so they are called “fauna” like, Just Animal??? Wow, Okay. Still don’t like the points stuff for her cloak but it’s mostly because of how the art style makes it look.

Also have I made a comment yet about the sky ships? They are weird but cool. I like how they kinda look like sea creatures so far. Or just straight up helicopters but bigger. Both are cool.
