im legally not allowed on most playgrounds now and i hate that so much. ive played here since before i could write wdym i cant anymore ???
#sometimes the playground is too small it's not safe for teenagers to play in them and i get that but.#sometimes it's just?? a fricking slide??? an adult could play in that WHY is it age restricted#'you'll scare the kids' ive successfully befriended an entire class of kindergarteners and i can confirm they aint afraid of hell itself#also dont we deserve to have fun. literally everyone deserves to play tag in a playground regardless of age#when im old enough to go im going around the country vandalizing every playground sign that says “only for 5~13 year olds”#sorri ive been very mad about this one specific thing for a long time jskfbskdsjd#incoherent ramblings

There are a looot of characters, and I definitely worry sometimes that it gets to be too much, but I think the IF is getting long enough for me to give enough-ish screentime to each character... though it takes me a while to cycle back to different side characters. I cant believe you remembered the cool ass girl in laser tag! :)

5. Yup, being a character driven IF, there will be a lot of romance (or friendship) beats / moments in the IF (which is already true now). The next couple of chapters will follow the same mix of sports, school and romance / hanging out, so you should already have a sense of how much romance there'll be (it'll just keep unfolding / developing for each of the RO routes!)

i wrote a new fanfiction today
As usual its some sort of transmigration fic but this time i decided i give no fricks i care not, this is the culmination of several 3 am writing sessions, its not done yet, but im having a good time.
Clearly this is perfection and the best fanfiction ever so come on down to Silent Stares writing equivalent of making a character and treating them like a human slinky and watch a librarian forget herself and see why jun wu took one look at this woman and was like "finally someone who would love me if i was a worm" but in the least romantic way possible. thats right baby no romance, qi rong hits a tree with a car, everyones having a bad time baby ive decided this is the fanfiction i simply do not care about <3 this is the fanfiction im using as a basketball much like Hua Cheng used Qi Rong's head as a basketball in that one fun chapter. rest in peace Qi Rong's mask you litterally lasted what? five seconds? you were so cool, its too bad you were on a stinky little racoons face <3
(affectionate, i love qi rong, no not in a 'i can fix him' way or a 'i think hes actually deep down a very lovable and sweet man' no i think hes a horrible cannibalistic monster and he's a vulgar little monster i like to watch unfold on the world around him. I will not defend my opinion because theres no defense, and i dont need to defend myself. KH 2 Playthrough pt2:

Oh my gosh do I HATE fighting Xigbar. Just disappearing and stuff and like fricking shooting me. Gosh his finish move almost killed me, but thankfully I have the “At least 1 HP is left after a combo,” thing on bc if not I would’ve died.
I died once and I’m so glad I beat him the second time-

Riku just leaving and Sora stopping him to say thanks….I bet it really hurt him-
AND THEN KAIRI REVEALING TO SORA THAT IT’S RIKU IN FRONT OF HIM!!

Leveling up and stuff and I just remembered the “Final Form” exits for our drive gauge, and I finally got it because I don’t think I ever got it but I’m excited now :))). Gotta level this one up and master up too. I need those jumps so I can get all of my beloved puzzle pieces and beat the game-

Fighting Siax now and whenever he starts his little dusk attack, Riku grabs Kairi and covers her with him and they get pushed back. I bet they’re worried for Sora, but I found that moment between them so sweet🥺.

The flashback of Riku looking at Roxas collapsed on the ground in TWTNW is showing after I beat Saix. I see Riku walk up to him and he has the keyblade up in his hand, position to be thrown down onto Roxas. Idk if it was truly meant to hit him, but we see Riku hesitate and throw it to the ground beside him. Ik its probably nothing but my mind was like
“Riku never truly wanted to hurt Roxas, but he wanted Sora to wake up, so he had to hurt him and use the darkness. But when it came to actually hurting him in this way, he couldn’t bring himself to do it. A part of Sora was in there and he couldn’t imagine hurting him anymore, and he didn’t want to hurt anyone any more.”
And then when it’s clear that he truly is Sora’s nobody, Riku gives into the dark just to wake sORA UP AAAAAH-
.
“I have accepted it.”
DiZ shows up and Riku puts his hood on to avoid his gaze😭. He didn’t want anyone to look at him while he was this way-
“DiZ, he told me he could feel Sora.” (Riku)

He just had to make a joke and slightly ruin the sweet moment😂.

personal rant for personal reasons because im that kind of person, personally
hey, check tags before reading, my beloveds
so like, im excited about the new mcr music. I swear i am.
but holy frick if it doesn't give me flashes to the crappy friendships i had at age 15
like holy crap if i'm not constantly wondering what the friend who introduced me to MCR is thinking about this song
like holy fricking crap if i don't want to text him and ask him if he thinks it's any good
like holy crap.
for the first time since we stopped talking i want to talk to him again. I want to find him and ask him what he thinks. I want him to tell me all his opinions just like nothing had ever changed and I'm still a fricking baby who can't get over my best friends in the world hurting me in stupid ways that never mattered at all--
Like, I'm so excited about Foundations of Decay, and I really enjoyed the sound.
But the level at which I want to dig out that old contact I never blocked, but never texted again, and just ask him what he thinks is so strong.
I want to ask him if he liked it. If the sound was good. If he remembers when he sent me "Bulletproof Heart" after singing "Blood" at the top of his lungs, and spamming "I'm Not Okay" in group chats for as long as I can remember.
But if I ask him what he thinks.
He'll say other things.
Or maybe he won't.
But he'd want to. He'd have so many things to say that they would hang in silence like anvils above our heads, waiting for the cords to get pulled too tight and snap, crushing us both.
Why haven't you talked to me since 2021?
Because you weren't good for me, and you're still not.

Because even though you were horrible to me, I want that friendship we once had.

I didn't want to.
Like, I know this is all so specific and probably heartbreaking to read. But like, people are so shitty sometimes? Why do you want to go back to someone who fed you your ripped-out heart on a silver platter? Someone who stopped taking your side when you needed them most? Why do we want that? Why do we crave that?
Am I just an emotional masochist, or is everyone? Are we all just looking for the next person to hurt us, waiting for the next shoe to drop?
And the thing is, I wish I could say I knew he was struggling with it, too. I wish I could say he wanted to talk to me, too.
But he doesn't, and he won't. Know why? It's been nearly a year since he last spoke to me.
I lost his world and gained another.
But now, I think, watching people on the internet scream about a song that talks about everything he would have loved to talk about, everything he would have been overjoyed and a little haughty to explain to me, everything he would have shamed me over, judged me over, spoken down to me over. Everything he would have talked about with someone else before he ever came to talk to me. Everything he ever would have never wanted to talk with me about, anyways, until I dragged him into it--
He and I are on the same terms with each other. We always have been. We'd pick fights, try to one-up each other. I know what he's thinking like you'd know what your brother is thinking. Like someone who was your best friend for years is thinking.
And together, the two of us have decided.
We've made our choices for different reasons. We've put our ideas together separately in the same ways.
I know why he hurt me. He had a girlfriend who was jealous of any time he gave me, even though she denied it. And then a friend whose feelings mattered more than mine did, even though he was the one who broke my heart. And after all that, I was just the girl he came to talk to last. Everything he'd told me had already been told to someone else, so if there was slack in the friend group to be cut it was me.
But I know him.
I know how he operates.
And yeah.
We're not talking.
But stars. Do I want to.
He doesn't want to. He's still mad at me.
But I want to talk to him.
What would I even say, if I did?
"Hey, you broke my heart far worse than any lover ever broke it. But what do you think of Foundations of Decay?"
"Yo, you let people talk shit about me behind my back and said nothing, even though I'd have burned down the world for you, did you see that MCR dropped a new single?"
"So you know how you were complicit in ruining the only friendships I had? Forget about it for a second. What's going on with My Chemical Romance?"
"So, like. Remember all the things we left unsaid? Leave them unsaid even longer. Is Foundations of Decay any good?"
I'm a fool, and I'll readily admit it.
Maybe it was just seeing his picture, seeing his mom today.
Maybe it was just knowing that I'm going to see him next year, no matter what, run into him in the hallways, we're going to the same school.
Maybe it's just emotional masochism, and the need to make myself suffer even more for whatever tiny sins I've committed against him, whatever I've ruined in myself.
Maybe this is just me wanting back the peace found in destruction, the safety in the danger, the calm before the sickness, the thing that gives me anxiety to this day just trying to lord over me how small and little and weak I am.
Or maybe.
I just wish that the good things had stayed good, and that I still could call him my friend.

i just want to keep rambling about ewiyar while i continue angel halo farming bc i apparently hit the tag limit on my reblog and tags got cut off and my adhd meds kick in so i cant shut up but i’ll put under the cut

#i did enough raids to get to like 43 and then got like 5 drops today er last night i mean still same like day like per daily reset w/e

#bc i remember when ewiyar was the scary solo quest and i couldnt do it and had to fucking farm lineage fragments
#so i could get gale rocks to uncap tiamat AND THAT WAS WHEN THE TRADE COSTED 100 FRICKIN LINEAGE FRAGMENTS NOT 30
#I HAD TO FARM 300 OF THOSE FRICKING THINGS BC EWIYAR HIT LIKE A TRUCK AND WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO CLEAR
#and then i got the devil full uncapped and lucifer fully uncapped and traded for ullikuumi to have as a mainhaind
#and dicpicked siegfried (fire)
#and now in the solo quest ewiyar is a punk bitch bc i double angi and we all got over 40k to 50k hp
#ewiyar is both less scary and scarier in raid form
#bc like raid form if sieg's special party buff it up and ewiyar isn't casting march whatere or dragon's nest i wont even guard
i wont even guard bc i have a lot of hp and the buff give armor and tbh elixirs are unlimited and i have (currently) 379, like i MIGHT AS WELL YOU KNOW ACTUALLY USE THEM FOR SOMETHING. so there’s less of a fear of dying bc i can just... revive without feelings bad. the scarier thing about the raid is that there’s like two fated chain cancels, YEAH dragon’s nest at 40% and 10% how the fuck do you cancel both of those and having to gaurd and take the hit sucks bc you can veil against the skill seal but you can’t veil against all your charge bar is going and that’s just annoying as fuck, especially if your joining a raid later and it can be harder to get that fated chain ready for the first trigger and its like OH BOY NO BUFFS OR CHARGE BAR FOR ME :) BACK TO STEP 1 (except like sieg’s buff not being able to be removed and the lumberjack buff. im not using anyone with dispel cancel bc :) too bad) and like okay, even after overdrive buff go away, i s2g ewiyar still hits like a fucking truck past 40% compared to the other dragons. so like first 60% of hp, even more of a bitch than solo quest, 40% and under, oh god i need to be a little more careful.
but like anyways i just wanted to ramble into the void about how glad i am at my improvement, bc like even when it was the first time i cleared the ewiyar solo quest, after i had those upgrades, i still did it with a careful team, using illnot and anila bc illnot has crazy delay game i s2g. and ewiyar was still scary to me bc that bitch has 1 charge diamond. I was bring more heals and a revive. but the ones i’ve been doing the past couple days, i just did with regular fire set up. didn’t bother changing the skills, leaf burning, dappling, clear. just bright tien and izmir. heck, last time i even played with swapping izmir with vasaraga bc i wanted to see if i could... actually see his ougi for once... i did, one time on both of the runs. it’s just.... hard to get him low when the hp pool is high and lots of heals... drain, dappling, ullikuumi... and then that lumberjack upgrade, and then him casting his skill every time the foe special attacks. admittedly i think those first times i cleared it i didn’t have wilnas... and that summon really really does make those hit 20 times trivial when that summon hits fucking 15 times. that and actually using tien. yeah... those triggers cancels are rarely a problem. sdkfjhsdlkfsoirjsdf if bonus damage didn’t count as a separate hit i s2g a lot of v2 cancels would be AWFUL. tbh making ewiyar disguise themselves as a cat was the best thing gbf could do for the most asshole dragon quest/raid. but like also bc of ewiyar’s voice lines, like the most on brand shit.

Hoshiai no Sora Fan Movie Breakdown/Theory/I don’t know
Yeah I went mad so imma do theories now I guess. rip homework and fic.
spoilers for the fan movie, which is like 3 minutes and on youtube so just head over there, theres a link up here somewhere.
So first off, where’d the student council go?
Prez dances alone despite usually having some people watching and clapping behind her. They’re just gone!
Most of the first half is reused footage, so theres not much Ill break down, at least for now.
Once the outro is done, we cut to the final moments of Hoshiai Episode 12, as if we haven't had that scene burned into our brains.
Once that ends, we cut to this little card:
Which I think means two years later (according to this post which is honestly a way better post than mine, go read it.)
and then this card which according to google translate says ‘living that time’ I dont think thats right.
Let’s note we’ve returned to black on white background, and not the coloured on black of the title card at the end.
One of the best OST’s in the show plays (imo) and we get a little montage.
Rintarou and Taiyou go to the same school, good for them! They’re trying to get members for a soft tennis team (probably) but everyone around them is uninterested. They have more colour then anyone else in the shot, and are given more detail. part of that is because no one does background characters, but I think theres some symbolism there with them having their own little world of soft tennis, especially since Rintarou and Taiyou are known as the more energetic and friendly (or colourful!) members of the team. There’s also a baseball team walking in the background which I find interesting.
Tsubasa is angry and still playing tennis. If we follow his line of sight we find he’s glaring at (or at least guiding us to) the people in the back longing around and not playing. I can think of two reasons why he’s upset. One: because of everything that happened season one, he takes the game seriously and dislikes people slaking off. or two because it reminds him of his old team. I think one is more likely than two though. yet again anyone who isnt a main character isnt coloured in.
Shingou????? Is now at a strict school I guess?? The thing that stands out here isnt really him being at this school, (his parents could totally send him off) but he looks happy. Proud even. Not only is that contrary to the Shingou we know, but look around him. The background characters dont have eyes but they sure do have frowns. they’re also really gray, unlike Shingou.
iTSUKI GOT TALLER?? Lets note some things! The background characters have gone from being tinted a bit grey to entirely monochrome. The other characters have backpacks like Itsuki (idk the name but they hold tennis rackets) by beyond that, Itsuki doesn’t fit into the scene at all. Beyond just the colour, he’s not looking at the other boys, and it doesn't seem much like the other boys are looking at him. you could crop him out of the scene and the boys would look perfectly normal. The boys are also all wearing ties where Itsuki has a hoodie, giving him another way to stand out.
Now where everyone else had a still that zoomed in, we turn to my son, Nao.
He gets 5 shots, two of which are animated.
Note that when we see Nao’s hand all bandaged, the music takes a bit of a dip, making a static noise a bit like what we hear in some Nao scenes, or like a ghost.
So: Nao doesn’t play tennis anymore, clearly he either misses it or something, but in whatever case he thinks about it, and watches the others play. More than just play, he watches them celebrate.
Now look at the other boys who approach Nao. We get a bad vibe on instinct. I could be wrong, but it looks like the boy on the far right is the same boy who watched as another bully talked to Itsuki and then got bashed for it. Mainly just due to hair and him wearing a mask around his chin, which we haven't seen a single other character do. Actually, I dont think we’ve ever seen a Hoshiai character wear a mask, so it stands out.
Now, Nao’s knuckles are bandaged, which suggests he punched someone or something. I cannot picture him doing this. WE can see the bandages aren’t even, so he probably placed them himself, who whoever did it, did with little care.
Nao says: something. I can’t read lips or speak Japanese, but im not sure what Nao says is even readable. It has no audio, but the spooky noises continue. Music is now gone.
Cut to black.
Bird noises! Maki is watching their old sitting spot from afar, suggesting reminiscence.
Maki says something! I don’t know what, According to the other post, translated here on twitter, he says:
"Let's leave it be. He probably just doesn't want to see me again"
So that’s likely refering to Touma, or possibly his father but I doubt that highly.
Note: Everyone keeps their distance from Maki, Arashi still has his tennis bag, Mitsue has a very nice uniform and Yuu has a new bag I think, which is pink. Very cute.
Yuu is the only one we don’t see in any uniform (itsuki didnt have the tie but he had a jacket) so we don't know what school they go to, of what uniform they wear. Yuu and Mitsue stand close together, so we ca assume that friendship lives on.
I won't do shots of all of Touma’s dialogue but here's some:

Now: Touma is saying in this scene, thanks again to twitter, translator’s tweet is here go leave a like,
"It's pointless. He has no game sense. Why does he make the same mistakes? There's no point in continuing like this. Whatever. I'll find someone else"
So like the beginning, Touma is fed up with fellow soft tennis players.
Maki and Touma meet on a street corner and Touma frowns. Maki remains neutral.

So time for my final thoughts and theories and things I want to mention.
Maki hurt Touma with the knife. I know, its bad I dont wanna think it, but like,,, Occam’s Razor.
Whatever happened with maki’s dad, he didn’t get kicked out of school, he didn’t die, and he doesn't gotten any life long injuries
No one’s parents are ANYWHERE IN THE ENTIRE PV. for a show so dedicated on these kids relationships with their parents, that is striking. We don’t even see family members.
No teachers are seen either.
Aside from the beginning we don’t see student prez at all.
Why does Nao get extra screen time? like do not get me wrong I love him but everyone else only got one shot.
Background characters are near always painted in greys wand without eyes, except for whoever Touma was yelling at and the others in that scene. they still don't have eyes though, which is probably just because they’re background characters.
Most characters are alone, except for Rintarou and Taiyou, and the gang during Maki’s line.
Things aren’t looking good.
