okay so my sister and her friends have been taking this food disgust tests (the idr labs one, which if you take/took it and dont mind sharing your results please do) and they all get like 20% - 40%. naturally she makes me, the picky eater, take the test and i scored in the 90 something %. so obviosuly i have to prove that im the only sane person there.

tl;dr im going to go through each and every question of the idr labs food test with extreme detail.

the problem with being opinionated but shy is i'll see a post on here that i think could generate some really interesting discussion, but the debate is already heated and people are mad about it so i'm worried if i throw my two cents in the ring i'll get yelled at

#ignore me #i think that food disgust test is way more neutral and way less judgemental than everyone else seems to think it is #i think people getting a high score bc they adhere to food hygiene are getting mad because they perceive it as the test calling them like.#picky or stuck up prudes or something. but i think that's WHY it's separated into diff categories like that!#bc it's good to have strict food hygiene that shit can Kill You #meanwhile if your food disgust is mostly centered around meat/fish and yr not a vegetarian maybe it's a time to reflect on like #cultural norms that are making you view perfectly good food as gross #idk idk. i think it's an interesting discussion but everyone is very mad. i will shrimply stay in my own tags

my dad was adopted but i still consider myself irish since its somewhere in there on my moms side anyway. im not particularly impacted by either polish or irish culture i just really like pierogies and kielbasa. i am not irish until i go to my grandmas house. my ethnicity doesnt matter to me because at the end of the day i have no connection to either culture im just a white boy. i would love to be more in touch with those cultures but dont feel like i have a right... polish mutuals we ride at dawn
