The nature of Buggy's character means that there is an equal possibility that his insecurity regarding his nose stems from some truly awful, gut wrenching event in his backstory that haunts him to this very day
Or Shanks made an offhand joke about it one (1) time
Could be either
Could be both

Thinking about touch starved Billy experiencing physically affectionate Steve.
Billy who is used to concealing his emotions and has grown accustomed to never needing physical touch unless it was through sex. Compared to Steve who can simply not exist without displaying his emotions, thoughts, and feelings without a physical entity to it. It makes Billy burn.
Whenever Steve laughs he makes sure to push his hand deep down into Billy’s shoulder to stabilize his shaking body and Billy swears every time it happens, he can see Steve’s fingerprints left on his skin. While they study and Steve is deep in thought Billy feels long delicate fingers tap rhythmically against his thigh. While it helps the pretty boy focus all studying is loss to Billy because there is nothing worth studying other than the movement on his leg. And when Steve cries he buries his face against Billy’s chest and takes the warmth there and uses it as a blanket. All while Billy burns.
Billy leads the basketball team to victory and Steve is there wrapping his arms around Billy’s back and he thinks it is better than any trophy will ever be. As soon as the temperature begins to drop, and Billy can’t stand the Indiana cold. Steve just takes his hands and puts them in his jacket pockets like it wasn’t even a second thought and, in an instant, the chill fades away and Billy burns. After practice or a party, or on a random Thursday night Steve will push Billy to the floor and rub out all his knots and Billy’s protest dissolves when he feels the fingerprints return. After every A on an exam or smart comment Billy makes it is met with Steve’s arms encompassing him in the most gentle but intense hug Billy has ever experienced. Every movie becomes Billy’s new favorite because Steve will crawl his way close to Billy on the couch and throw his legs over his thighs and Billy at these moments thinks he may have found salvation.
On nights when it is just too late for Billy to go home, Steve will tell Billy it is not safe something about monsters being in the woods. He will shuttle Billy into his room and let Billy rest beside him and he doesn’t dare ask why he is in the King’s bed and not the guest room. As Steve drifts away and into dreams he rolls until he finds a comfortable spot attached to Billy.
And Billy burns and burns.

Watching season 2 really drives home the fact that all the melodramatic smut I’ve been writing for a year will never happen in canon, but fics with stuff like Stede leaving the cabin in a sex-daze and Lucius looking on and being like “Did you discover your prostate, babes?” feels perfectly plausible for this show.

Thinking about Frying Pangle being an actual love triangle for a second, and specifically laughing to myself about Gil and Rod trying to act tough with one another in the stereotypical “if you hurt her, this is what I’m going to do to you” but it’s preceded for both of them with “after she’s had her fill of beating you”

alright, because you asked so nicely! (joke)
also, bold of you to assume papyrus is any better, anon. paps eats his pasta out of a cup… by drinking it.
(the second of the chosen requests—wow a lot of these include the skeletons!)

Okay so I said I would pen some of my 911 thoughts so here we are with my main thought.
I think we’re at a pinnacle point in the show where an executive decision needs to be made (if it hasn’t been already) in the writer’s room about whether or not Buddie will go canon. I do not think they can continue to make the show without making a concrete decision. The main reason being where Buck and Eddie are in their character development. Seasons 1-5 have been about the past for them; about confronting and working through their past traumas. Season 6a on the other hand has clearly established that we are now looking towards the future. For Buck, he’s at a point where he’s starting to question his life and what it means to be happy. It means examining his current life and looking at what he would need/want in the future to attain what he eventually deems as happiness. Clearly a big part of that happiness will be being a father; they wouldn't be doing the sperm donor storyline if it wasn’t.
For Eddie, he’s at a point where he’s gone/going to therapy and is in a good place. He’s learning to live for himself, especially now that he has more time to himself as his kid is growing up and seeking independence. With this time to himself will come with questioning what he wants out of life; what’s his happiness.
Clearly both of these characters’ trajectories are going towards the future. With the way the writing has been going, it would be very easy for the writers to make these two characters’ desires of the future be interconnected. I personally think that’s the way to go with the story, considering, whether intentionally or not, they’ve already set the groundwork. However, if they really do not want to go in this direction, I think now would be the time to decide. While a solid argument can be made that they queer baited their audience for 4 whole seasons if they choose to go with the “band of brothers” route, I think with some directional and writing changes, they still could establish Buck and Eddie as ride or die friends. But, imo, they truly cannot continue with not making a decision and stringing along the fans knowing that they’re intentionally baiting them by giving them hope that Buddie will happen. It just doesn’t do justice to the characters, the show, or their audience.
