"Leafy Green" recipes I've made
Spinach Feta and Corn muffins
Greek Macaroni and Cheese (I added a lot of lemon and dried dill)
Caramelized Cabbage Pasta
Chickpea Salad with Red Onion, Sumac, and Lemon (and Parsley)
Beet and Feta Salad (Involved and looks like murder)
Warm Brussels Sprout and Bacon Salad
Crispy Gnocchi and Brussels Sprouts
Creamy Spinach (not my texture alley, but M+D loved it)
Sesame Ginger Bok Choy
Butter Lettuce Salad with Parmesan Vinaigrette
Creamy Parsley Salad Dressing (I serve it usually w/ roasted potato)
This Elote recipe is amazing on roasted Brussels Sprouts
+ bonus bc Mint counts as a "leafy green" right? Mint Chocolate cookies (the dough was not rollable/cuttable, so made into balls)
Just The Recipe is a great source to make recipes more readable, and gets past paywalls

Mochinut in Lodi, NJ.
Ever want to try a “Korean” corn dog? Mochinut is a good place to hit up. While this place is good, it is quite expensive. We paid for 3 donuts $9 .. I believe 1 donut was $3.15
We had the Korean dogs half potato/half cheese, half ramen/half cheese, half hot cheetos/half cheese, and half plain/half cheese. The corn dog inside was Id say on the mini side but that didn’t matter because each bite was delicious.
We also each had a tea. My husband had a milk tea with tapioca balls. The milk had a hint of jasmine in it (gross). I didn’t care for it. I got the peach tea with mango pearls in it. My peach tea was so delicious- Even my husband said he’d get that one if we ever went back. It was on the sweeter side but oh so good. Those pearls bursting in your mouth (Love it…It’s like asmr eating/drinking) 😂
My favorite definitely was the hot cheetos/half cheese and my husband’s favorite was I believe the half ramen/half cheese. I remember that first bite being so flavorful and to be honest the Cheetos weren’t even hot but that’s okay because I really don’t like super spicy/hot things.
The donuts were pretty good, but I still say Krispy Kreme is the best and my favorite. They definitely though we’re not worth the price.

It's better than it looks 😅 (second challah attempt ever, and the product of around 13 hours).
I need a bigger oven and a bigger baking sheet.

Dolce & Clemente’s Italian Market. Robbinsville, NJ.
The hubby and I were on our way home from an overnight in Maryland and we decided to make the stop here. We were not disappointed! We learned of this place because we had seen an episode on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. They were talking about all the different delicacies and especially their monstrous sandwiches!
As you can see, the sandwich my husband devoured was full of meat, meat and more meat! I had two bites (because there was no way I could finish my own). I opted to try their Stuffed Cabbage but I did not feel like it was photo worthy. I paid $4.50 for a little puny of a thing-They had stuffed cabbage (with chicken which was massive and that one was $4.50 which made sense). The sandwich was so fresh - the bread wasn’t too hard or too soft - it was perfect but you had to see it for yourself- they might have just left the bread out because there was so much meat the bread didn’t even cover the sandwich haha.
We then went back in and I was shooting for a box of their cookies but we decided to try a Neapolitan each and a mini cannoli each. Neapolitan was good but that cream I didn’t care for(I’m not much of a cool whip person). The cannoli was BOMB! Sooo very delicious!
The market is in an area of what looks like I’d say are luxury apartments - cute little area all by itself (which to me is a bit awkward but I guess that’s because I’ve lived in the city areas all my life). So I’m used to things being on top of one another or side by side next to each other in little strip malls/plazas.
You definitely won’t be disappointed if you make this trip. I’d say the sandwich prices for the amount of food and quality of it is fair.
