Fire Emblem Awakening: Who's the Most Likely (least likely, or Maybe) Fathers (and Mothers) for Child Units based on Classes, looks, supports, and/or mannerisms?

Most Child units inherit the hair color from their fathers (with the exception of Female Morgan, who inherited her mother's hair color, and Lucina). But some parents are more fitting for some child units then others based on Classes, looks, supports, and/or mannerisms.

I'll give you an example on the mannerisms part. Brady, unlike his mother, has a thuggish way of speaking. There's a most likely chance he gained that from Gregor, Donnel, or Vaike. The maybe part would Libra (cause in Libra's ending, whether he's paired or not, he built an orphanage so Brady could've gain the thuggish speech from hanging around the orphans) Lon'qu (probably influenced from some of the warriors/barbarians in Ferox), and Gaius (probably influenced by Gaius's criminal. friends)

The looks part I'll give you an example in Inigo's case, he looks like Chrom but in Olivia and Henry's paired ending its said Inigo inherited Henry's smile. In Laurent's case, I'm not sure if people noticed but in the official artwork where Laurent's hat is removed his hairstyle looks like a shorted version of Virion's hair.

In Classes, Owain's a Myrmidon in Awakening which he could've been inspired by Lon'qu. But in Fates Owain (or Odin) is a Dark Mage, which he could've inhearted from Henry, Libra, or Robin. Before you cross out Robin, because of Owain supports saying his father died from an arrow, it's not the case in Parents!Robin-Owain's support where instead of dying from an arrow, Future!Parent!Robin was gravely injured and separated from Owain, never to be seen again.

In Supports, in Laurent's case at the beginning on the C Support he found something that belongs to his father laying around and told his father to secure his belongings in the future. Remember when Vaike misplaced his axe at early part of the game?

Fire Emblem Awakening got me in a chokehold right now fr fr. My sister redesigned some Fire Emblem kids she had to more resemble their parents (or create them in Three Houses' case). So, I did that idea too, but just with Awakening because it's my favorite. I thought I'd save the big 4's (Chrom, Lissa, Frederick, and Robin's) children for tomorrow. The pairings I have can change depending on what gender Robin I am and who I choose to romance. As the male Robin I MOSTLY choose to romance Cordelia, but I sometimes choose Cherche, Olivia, Maribelle, or Panne. But as the female Robin, I only romance Chrom. And even then, it's just because the story is more emotionally investing that to me that way. 🤷‍♂️

Who's the Most Likely, Least Likely, or Maybe Fathers for Noire based on Classes, looks, supports, and/or mannerisms?

Most Child units inherit the hair color from their fathers (with the exception of Female Morgan, who inherited her mother's hair color, and Lucina). But some parents are more fitting for some child units then others based on Classes, looks, supports, mannerisms, etc. I'm not looking for who would make the kid stronger. Just a parent who would make sense for the Child Units.

Here's what I've gathered about Noire, although it's a little difficult since much of her personality is due to trauma and having a talisman that gives her a split personality.

1.) Noire's class is an Archer. Which she could've gotten from Virion, Stahl, or Ricken. Plus in Future Past, Noire said her bow is a memento of Virion if he's her father.

2.) Her supports with Owain reveals that she's a talented baker. She could've been taught by Gregor (See Gregor/Olivia's Supports), Gaius (Gaius's support conversations with Olivia reveals that he enjoys baking his own sweets. Plus in other supports, he can do housework. In Gaius/Sumia's S Support he says he can do the cooking.), Vaike (See Vaike & Chrom's supports), and Ricken (Some barracks dialogue has Ricken mention that cooking is something all modern men should know how to do.)

3.) She seems to have a fixation for gold, as she often asks for it as gifts in her relationship event tiles. Which could be inherited if her father's class is Mercenary (Gregor) or Thief (Gaius. Although he'll take sweets as payment, don't forget as a thief he'll take gold too. See his recruitment for example, "I said "sweeten the deal", didn't I? Don't get me wrong, I'll take the gold too. Later. Unless you've got more of these. …Have you got more of these?!"). Or gold would probably remind her of her possible noble heritage (Both Virion and Ricken are nobles).

4.) She's described as the fastest to escape in the army. So she would need a dad two passes down good speed like Lon'qu (Max Stat Modifiers Spd for Noire: +5), Gaius (Max Stat Modifiers Spd for Noire: +4), Virion (Max Stat Modifiers Spd for Noire: +4), Vaike (Max Stat Modifiers Spd for Noire: +3) or Robin (Max Stat Modifiers Spd for Noire: Varies).

5.) In Noire's support with her father, she mentions that in her timeline her father has moments of defending her when Tharja hexes on her but her father ends up getting hexed for it, she worries that some things will be inevitable. So Her father then stole Tharja's curse implements while she was away, something Noire said never happened. He tried to use that as proof that nothing is set in stone. I know this happens to all potential dad's but it might seem fitting for Gaius since he's a Thief. However there's a small error if Virion is her father, considering that in Tharja/Virion Support its revealed that hexes don't work on Virion yet he gets hexed by Tharja in his Father-Daughter support with Noire but it could mean that Tharja's been practicing to make her hexes stronger.

(?) In Gaius/Tharja's paired ending it's mentioned that Tharja set up shop and hexed people for a living. It could be a reference to FuturePast!Noire who opens up a shop with charms cursed with happiness.

(?) Gaius usually gives people nicknames but I haven't seen him give them to his kids. Well, except Noire (he called her "cupcake" once in his Father-Daughter support with her).

(?) Noire's name means 'black', so it could either mean she has black hair from either Lon'qu, Kellam, or Robin (if you give him black hair). But it could be a reference to Tharja being a Dark Mage, or that Noire was a used as a guinea pig for Tharja's curses (black magic), or her talisman which seemingly cause her to have a split personality.

I'm not sure if I got everything. There's always a chance I'm missing something but I'm willing to listen to any input and reasons why you think whatever father is suitable for Noire.

i think tharja should have been more important to awakening’s story. not only is she plegian and so could have provided a plegian perspective on the constant ylisse-plegia back-and-forth to help make things feel less one-sided (we aren’t given this until the second drama cd and it has to come from GAIUS, who is not plegian), but she’s also the game’s second-best example after robin of “you are not what the future dictates you to be,” one of the game’s main themes. i challenge my fate etc etc. what do i mean by this? well

first off personally, i tend to shelve the entire noire-dad support chain because it 1. sucks and 2. contradicts several other chains — ex. ricken + tharja A, where she acknowledges people don’t like to have hexes tested upon them and so has ricken test things on Her, her henry, gregor, & virion chains, where she can’t hex them at all, her frederick chain where she PROMISES to not hex him any more — and it also just doesn’t make sense with others, like her dynamics with lon’qu and libra, which are two of her most serious support chains. why would she do that to them. or considering how she is with robin, why would she hex him or her kids with him. she’s ALSO mentioned to be good with kids in her libra paired ending, making her hexing children more puzzling, and noire’s blood-and-thunder thing is also not actually caused by tharja hexing her like people think. so they wrote this in to make child abuse a teehee gag that contradicts a lot of tharja’s character setup and i just ignore it and that’s not what i’m referring to here. (note: her supports with noire mention to her she’s been tested HERSELF by her family since birth, which she thought was normal, but that same chain reveals her future self also kept noire away from dabbling in dark magic at all so it very much doesn’t make sense why she would expose her to it by testing it on her anyway). HOWEVER,

tharja is very still much a neglectful parent in the bad future and that’s her main issue. after her spouse dies she dedicates everything to getting revenge for him and tracking down the risen that killed him and neglects her daughter in the process. for the sake of getting revenge on a corpse. awakening tharja’s main thing is realising that by pushing her child away in the future she helped ruin her. noire spent most of her life doubting her mother loved her because of how she was pushed away after a certain point until tharja told her directly “i’m sure she did because she kept you away from curses to protect you. and i love you.” she’s one of the game’s biggest examples of learning what not to do and i wish she had more focus because that’s like. one of the main themes of the game <- biased tharja fan. thank you for listening

i love the awakening kids but i also hate them so much at the same time because they all have the exact same problem in that they all insist on dealing with their problems on their own! they have literally endured two worlds worth of trauma but wont talk to anyone about it! not with eachother, not with their parents, no one!! it has to be coaxed or bribed out of them because theyre all convinced that opening up is equivalent to burdening other people and it’s just!! not true!!

laurent refuses to talk about how being isolated for five years changed him until his dad and lucina push him! severa wont talk to her mom out of fear until cordelia makes a deal with her! inigo wont open up to his dad until he almost dies! kjelle convinced herself she cant show a smidge of weakness or else everyone will die! brady convinced himself his insecurities are a liability! owain and cynthia would rather die in their alternate personas than admit theyre not as happy as they let on! im not even gonna touch gerome’s refusual to talk about his feelings with a ten foot pole. nah was neglected by her foster parents and forces herself to treat it like its not a big deal BUT LIKE. IT IS? noire was literally abused by tharja and talks about like all she did was get a slap on the wrist once. yarne is carrying the livelihood of an ENTIRE RACE on his shoulders. admittedly hes probably the one who talks about it the most, but honestly. he deserves to! because what the fuck?? dude?!

and lucina. oh my god lucina. i dont even think i can put into words how much pressure she was under in her own timeline, and how much she had to repress in order to be the exalt her people needed, even though she knew she was leading her friends into a losing war. and then we literally see her first moments in canon timeline of awakening, the first thing she sees is her father who she misses more than anything in the world, and she cant even react to him?! she cant tell him how much she loves him, how much she missed him, she cant cry, she cant do ANYTHING shes quite literally hiding everything behind her mask. and then she continues to hide it all for TWO YEARS until she accidentally slips up, but the fact that it was an accident means she was going to keep up the marth facade. like GIRL. JUST HUG YOUR DAD!!!

anyways this is all to say they make me emo
