Headcanon:

A future Donnie headcanon that goes along side my headcanon that him and his caffeine adication turned him into a rly bad smoker to help cope n shit- and when eventually the cigs ran out of were saved, he found ways threw withdraw being chewing gum like a normal person, but also just holding random shit in his mouth. Pens, pencils, toothpicks, scraps, fuck even tools

An additional headcanon is that baby Casey would notice don doing this, and him being a small child who teeths a lot, and would get told off for teething on stuff and was told to use teething toys, would just hold teething toys at don for him to use so he's not introuble. And when he grew out of teething, he would still just give random shit for don to hold

Tom Wlaschiha ist seit einer Hauptrolle in „Game of Thrones“ weltweit bekannt. Im Stil-Fragebogen verrät er, was er immer im Kühlschrank hat und was ihn an Postkarten nervt.

Nach Nebenrollen in internationalen Filmen wie „Operation Walküre – das Stauffenberg Attentat“ ist das Gesicht von Tom Wlaschiha den meisten inzwischen wohl aus der amerikanischen Fantasy-Serie „Game of Thrones“ bekannt, in der er über mehrere Staffeln hinweg als Jagen H'ghar einen der Hauptcharaktere verkörperte. Der Fünfzigjährige war zudem in Großproduktionen wie „Stranger Things“ und „Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan“ zu sehen. Das Schauspielhandwerk erlernte der gebürtige Sachse, der in einer Kleinstadt nahe Dresden aufwuchs, an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater „Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy“ in Leipzig – und kann sich bis heute auch für deutsche Produktionen wie den „Tatort“ begeistern. Für die Podcast-Serie „Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord“, erschienen Ende Juni auf Audible.de, darf es auch wieder deutsch sein: Zehn Episoden lang leiht Wlaschiha darin dem Marvel-Helden Peter Quill seine Stimme.

Einen Kaffee und eine Zigarette. Manchmal noch ein Müsli hinterher.

Wo kaufen Sie Ihre Kleidung ein?

Ich kaufe nur sehr selten Kleidung ein. Und wenn, dann komme ich zufällig an irgendeinem Laden vorbei, gehe mit einer halben Stunde Zeit rein, und mir gefällt etwas. Das ist wirklich völlig ohne System. In den vergangenen Jahren habe ich hauptsächlich historische und Fantasy-Filme gedreht, da war nicht viel Alltagstaugliches dabei, was ich von einem Dreh hätte mitnehmen können. Obwohl das in Kreuzberg, wo ich wohne, wahrscheinlich gar nicht so auffallen würde, wenn ich das anhätte.

Was ist das älteste Kleidungsstück in Ihrem Schrank?

Ich habe T-Shirts aus den Neunzigern, die für mich damals oversized waren und mir heute passen. Die Shirts sind teilweise einfarbig, teilweise mit Prints. Das allerälteste Shirt aus dieser Sammlung ist ein orangefarbenes Ripp-T-Shirt aus dem Fundus der Schauspielschule in Leipzig von 1992 – das ist auch schon an mehreren Stellen geflickt. Ich habe es schon lange nicht mehr angehabt, aber es hat einen sentimentalen Wert für mich.

Wann haben Sie zuletzt handschriftlich einen Brief verfasst?

Früher habe ich wahnsinnig viele Briefe geschrieben, aber den letzten bestimmt vor zehn Jahren. Vor einigen Urlauben habe ich wieder angefangen, Postkarten zu schreiben. Ich finde diese analoge Schneckenpost ganz cool. Häufig habe ich dann aber das Problem, dass ich Briefmarken kaufen will, die aber nicht bekomme und die Postkarten erst von zu Hause aus verschicken muss. Meine letzte Postkarte kam dann mit einer deutschen Briefmarke. Das ist dann nicht ganz so cool.

Welches Buch hat Sie im Leben am meisten beeindruckt?

Da gab es verschiedene Bücher in verschiedenen Lebensphasen. Als Kind und Jugendlicher habe ich sehr viel Karl May gelesen, in späteren Zeiten fand ich Milan Kundera toll. Mein jetziger deutscher Lieblingsschriftsteller ist Christian Kracht. „Die Toten“ und „Eurotrash“ mochte ich zum Beispiel sehr. Kracht schafft es über eine Sprachreduktion, dass jedes seiner Worte notwendig ist. Und obwohl es Prosa ist, ist da diese wunderschöne Poesie in seiner Sprache – das finde ich toll.

Wie informieren Sie sich über das Weltgeschehen?

Ich bin ein News-Junkie. Ich habe mehrere Zeitungen abonniert und lese die, hauptsächlich auf dem Handy.

Was ist Ihr bestes Smalltalk-Thema?

Ich hasse Smalltalk, halte ihn aber notgedrungen oft. Ich kann zum Beispiel gut über die Absurditäten der Berliner Politik reden.

Bei welchem Film haben Sie zuletzt geweint?

Bei meinen, wenn sie nicht gut waren.

Sind Sie abergläubisch?

Nein, überhaupt nicht. Keine Rituale, keine schwarzen Katzen, die von links nach rechts laufen. Ich laufe auch gerne mal absichtlich unter einer Leiter durch.

Worüber können Sie lachen?

Über ganz viel, über mich zum Beispiel. Ich glaube, ich bin manchmal viel zu albern für mein Alter.

Aktuell wohl Peter und Rocket – die Protagonisten der Podcast-Serie „Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord“, in der ich Peter Quill die Stimme leihe.

Ich mache keine Mittagspause, aber was ich echt gerne mag, ist so eine kleine Siesta tagsüber. Es gibt nichts Besseres, als tagsüber zu schlafen.

Ich bin ganz glücklich in Deutschland, habe aber ansonsten eine große Affinität zu Italien. Weil ich das italienische Lebensgefühl sehr mag, die Leichtigkeit, die Italianità. Das Gefühl für Schönheit und Leichtigkeit in Kombination mit der Geschichte. Ich fühle mich in Italien immer sehr wohl.

Schmuck nur selten. Ich habe ein paar Armbänder, aber ich mag es eigentlich nicht, viel an den Armen zu tragen. Meine Uhr trage ich oft, nur nicht im Fitnessstudio.

Was war Ihr schönstes Ferienerlebnis?

Da gab es viele. Eines meiner schönsten Ferienerlebnisse war zu Schauspielschul-Zeiten, da sind wir mit Freunden nach Sardinien getrampt. Drei Wochen waren wir dort– und haben nichts gesehen außer dem Strand.

Auf welchem Konzert waren Sie zuletzt?

Das war im Dezember, ein Klassik-Konzert in Barcelona. Bei Ivo Pogorelich, einem tollen kroatischen Pianisten.

Glück ist ein großes Wort. Aber ich bin ziemlich zufrieden, mir fehlt es an nichts.

ok so its a pizza place au (i got said thought while trying to sleep and i love that) and said pizza place usually operates during the night, its very cheap and the manager is nowhere to be seen for some reason, also sorry if this is a bit random its been stuck to my mind for a eternity

so uhh heres the boxers roles:

Glass joe - takes deliveries, has argued with customers more than once, sometimes hogs the phone to chat with his friends

Von Kaiser - usually gets the supplies and notes down orders

Disco Kid - delivers whatever the customer ordered, gets the weirdest instructions like "chuck it through my window" And "scream before putting pizza down" And he follows it by heart

King Hippo - chef, he usually makes the pizza and has accidentally set things on fire more than once

Piston Hondo - manager replacement #1, usually chats with angry customers and either kicks them out or resolves it by kicking them out, either way everyone thinks hes rad

Bear Hugger - pizza delivery dude #2, usually works when Disco is busy with something else, other than that he usually fixes up the fridge when it breaks

Great Tiger - delivery dude #3, he can teleport come onnnn

Don Flamenco - takes orders for people who wanna directly eat at the restaurant (for some reason) but usually hogs the phone to chat with carmen and fights joe about it, hides in the bathroom when he feels like it

Aran Ryan - usually throws away trash and cleans up the place, always complains about it but will do it since no one finds the smell of rotten tomatos nice

Soda Popinski - does a little bit of everything but mainly restocks drinks and cleans up the place as well, only person who doesnt shiver his ass off in the freezer section

Bald Bull - manager replacement #2, hes for when customers wants to fight hondo because their food came in cold, he usually does paperwork or fights someone in the back

Super Macho Man - Literally everything. Just hides out in the bathroom, sometimes helps Hippo in the kitchen, runs off for some deliveries or fixes the oven

Mr Sandman - clean up dude #2 just in case aran isnt there for the day or simply doesnt feel like cleaning, fortunately aran will come in to work even when hes on the verge of death to make sure "no one gets mildew and fucking dies" so he usually takes orders

Every day for the two years since she graduated, Izzy woke up in her childhood bedroom and started the same dreary daily routine. 

Her parents were always awake earlier and the mornings felt like they didn’t belong to her, at all. She could hear her mom in the hall, her dad shuffling back and forth in his slippers. Izzy always started at the sink: moisturizer, sunscreen, contacts, concealer. The march over to the closet, always a little hopeful that she’d find something that wasn’t as bad as she thought it was—a hope that was always disappointed. Breakfast across from her mother, and then in the store at 9 sharp, turning the lights on, and flipping the closed sign to open. Meg would come visit with a coffee when she could and they’d hang out by the register. Her mom would do chores upstairs while her dad lounged in front of the TV, and if it was nice out, Izzy might open the front door so she could feel a breeze from outside. Weekdays, her dad took the car to work, stranding them there. Eight hours in the store day in day out where they might get two customers if they were lucky, plus an hour for inventory, shipments, and whatever else, and then home at seven. 

Her parents went to bed early and the evenings were her own: Izzy’s time to try to eke some happiness out of her phone or computer, scrolling through photos of far away places or pretty gardens, jungles and mountains she would never see. If she had the energy, she’d try swiping a bit on one of the many dating apps Meg had downloaded for her. She read fewer books after the accident, but she would often engage in one of the three secrets, strumming her guitar while her parents were asleep.

Now that she was with the band, all her time was all her own :)

She was in New York and she could walk anywhere, so she walked everywhere. Canal Street, Central Park, all the way up to Columbia and Morningside, past brownstones and big apartment buildings. People had made their own little gardens, with dahlias just blooming now all over the city, in pots on rooftops and hanging baskets on the street lamps. After going uptown she and Meg would wind back down through the Upper East Side, the only neighbourhood in New York that Izzy didn’t like; it was like its own strip mall, with a Diane von Furstenberg and a Wallgreens on every corner. She got used to stepping on the metal cellar doors in the sidewalk, confidently gliding over them like a real New Yorker. The Lower East Side was her favourite, full of tiny parks and people her age sitting on patios, taking phone calls on their fire escapes dotted with plants, and balancing bags of Trader Joe’s on their bikes’ handlebars. The people in the city seemed to move quickly or not at all; they walked fast, or sat on their stoops to chat for hours at a time. 

Two weeks at The Garden in New York, George kissing her and disappearing, and Izzy sometimes visiting the river in the park to rest and recharge. She stayed out of George’s way, as instructed by Ryan (and her crippling anxiety): she never asked for more of his time, or knocked on his door. George stayed sharp. Ryan eased up on her a bit. Lydia had talked Izzy up to him as a fashion heiress and social it girl. When Izzy found out, she set all her social media to private; Ryan would figure out pretty quickly that the shots of Meg and her at the store alone through the years didn’t make her an it girl, whatever that was.

Izzy stayed out of the band’s preshow huddle—where Jess, Olivia, and Lisa sung a verse of one of the first songs they wrote—hanging back even when Tara tried to wave her over despite Jess’s cutting glares. Jess was around more and more; Izzy avoided Harry, not wanting to hear more underhanded comments from Jess about how he needed to be surrounded by real artists. It didn’t help that Izzy was actually working for them.

Lydia seemed to cheer up in New York too, dancing at the side of the stage every show. Her outfits got progressively crazier (always a good sign); she raided the thrift stores on the lower east side with Izzy, and Izzy picked up a soft cashmere sweater and rainbow shoes that reminded her of the ones she had liked at Gucci (it wasn’t a betrayal of her mom’s business if it was used, right?). Her savings took a small hit, but it was way cheaper than buying new. 

She had finally picked out her own clothes, her own wardrobe. Everything was soft and colourful, and made for walking and dancing. She finally felt like herself, like the person she was underneath the brown dust ruffles that had suffocated her in the store. And George wasn’t putting any pressure on her, at all.

Meg’s shoulders unclenched and she looked refreshed; she pulled long hours at the clinic, and was sleeping now more than she was used to. Lydia, Meg, Izzy, Elijah, and some of Harry’s other band members would hang out in the arena after the shows, playing music and joking around. Harry sometimes played the songs that had been removed from his set list, Jess and Tara harmonizing with him. Elijah tried to teach Izzy how to play his drums, and Tara showed her more chords on the guitar.

It started to feel easy to Izzy. She started to feel like she belonged.

They had finally hit the last show in the city. Austin, Texas was next, and Izzy hadn’t been invited—she hadn’t expected to be, and she knew it would have to end anyway. She had just wanted a night away and had gotten two whole weeks. She was as far away from her hometown as she had ever been and that was plenty. Was it enough?

Izzy couldn’t be dragged from backstage during that last show—not when Meg suggested they should leave early to start packing, not when Ryan asked for the numbers for the day, and not when she saw George bounding toward her from the green room out of the corner of her eye. She couldn’t look away.

Harry watched a banner rise above the crowd to commemorate his 15 nights there, putting his name up in the rafters of the arena beside other artists he admired, like Elton John. Izzy watched Harry put a hand over his mouth, eyes shining, as he watched it fly above him. He seemed like himself then, unmasked and genuinely moved. 

He looked back at her once it was up, and their eyes met; she smiled at him, trying to send silent support.

Just then, George grabbed Izzy’s hand and pulled her away, further backstage, into the green room. Ryan was there, hands clasped together. Meg followed them.

“We found the opportunity,” Ryan said.

“Tomorrow. Charity lunch. Dancing,” George said. “Huge press there. Frick Fall Fete gala.”

“Say that five times fast,” Meg joked. “Frick Fall Fete gala, Frick…”

“You’re coming with me, Izzy,” George said.

“We’ll be there with bells on,” Izzy replied, smiling. “Lydia can bring the extra charger and—“

“No, as my date,” George said, cutting her off.

“Oh,” Izzy said. “Yes. Sure. Frick Fall…” Nervousness started to creep up, eating away and her joy. She had no idea how to attend a formal event, or how to dance at a formal event. Her usual concert jumping around probably wouldn’t do it.

“Great!” Ryan said.

“I’ll put your dress in your room,” he said, before disappearing again. Ryan followed him.

“I’m sure that you can come with us Meg,” Izzy said, coming out of her daze. 

“I’m good,” Meg said. “It sounds like a date to me. Why was Ryan part of it? So weird.”

“A real date would be…” Izzy shook her head. A date with a guy who actually liked her, who she liked back? It seemed like science fiction. “He seems too good to be true,” Izzy said.

Meg just nodded. “And then home tomorrow, right?” she asked.

“Of course,” Izzy replied.

“I have a job and stuff.”

“Yes, right. Me too.”

“One more day,” Meg said.

“One more day,” Izzy repeated. “I should tell Lydia, too. She might want to do some getting ready shots. Where did she go?”

Meg gestured toward the stage.

Izzy left Meg, but she didn’t go toward the stage. She wound around to the back of the green room, down another long hallway, past Mitch, kissing a mystery girl behind one of the coloured curtains. Izzy was looking for George. If they were dating, she should see him more, right? Where did he go all the time?

She came to the end of the hallway, where Naomi and Elijah were chatting, drinks in hand. Naomi nodded toward a closed door. Izzy knocked (she learned her lesson last time) and heard Jess say come in.

“Hey,” Izzy said.

Jess was sitting down, shoes off, massaging her feet. “Thought you were Ryan, with the—“

“You found me,” George said, cutting her off. 

“Did you see Ryan out there?” Jess asked.

“No,” Izzy replied.

“Could you go get him?”

“She’s Lydia’s assistant, not ours,” George said.

“Thanks babe,” Izzy said, trying out the word.

Jess glared at her and stood up. “I’ll bring him back.” She left.

Izzy wanted to ask George where he went all the time, and what they were, but she didn’t want to seem clingy. “One more day,” she said instead.

“Come here.” George pulled her into his chest and put his arms around her, running his fingertips up and down her back. “I know you have a career, helping your mom run the business.”

Izzy didn’t say anything. She hadn’t been held like this since she was a kid.

“But I really like you,” said George.

Izzy looked up at him. “I really like you too,” she whispered. She was sure that saying it out loud would destroy it somehow, take it away.

“No, I really like you,” George said. He kissed her temple, her cheek, and then her chin. “I don’t want to just break up with you after the party tomorrow. I want you to stay. I want you on the tour.”

“What?” She couldn’t believe what he was asking her.

“Stay,” George said. “For the whole tour. Our numbers are up, we’re the opening through all the dates in the US. We did it.”

“George! That’s great!” Izzy said. She was stalling. Her skin prickled and she felt lightheaded. It was excitement and anxiety and fear and the biggest crush she had ever had, all mixed together. 

“Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles. California, Izzy?”

“I’m not a real content creator, George,” she said. “Lydia just said that so I could stay for the weekend.”

“I know.” He took his hands in hers. “I don’t want you to stay on as staff, I want you to stay as my girlfriend. I want to be with you.”

Izzy couldn’t breathe.

“I want to be with you,” George said again. “Will you stay?” Izzy thought about the store, her family. She knew what she would be going back to. The other option was totally unknown to her.

Izzy nodded. Her body answered for her before she could open her mouth. “Yeah, yes,” she found herself saying. Her heart hammered in her chest. “I want to be with you too.” He kissed her. Izzy felt almost nauseous, she was so excited.

Ryan and Jess burst back in, Jess’s right hand clenched around something.

“Sorry,” Jess said, walking around them and settling back down in her chair like they weren’t there at all. Izzy blushed, putting her hands to her cheeks.

“She’s staying,” George said.

“Fine, good,” Ryan said. “Official girlfriends are allowed. Your fans hearts may break, but that’ll only make them crazier for you.” Was he joking? He smiled at Izzy and shot her a wink; she smiled back, surprised. Maybe Ryan wasn’t so bad after all.

“We have band stuff to discuss,” Jess said.  

“Izzy can hang,” George said.

“Can she?” Jess asked pointedly. Izzy rolled her eyes.

“Not yet,” Ryan said. “Not yet. Sorry Izzy, strategy sesh. You’re not on staff any more.” Ryan winked and patted her on the back.  

“No problem!” Izzy said. Her cheeks were burning. She caught George’s gaze just as she closed the door behind her, stumbling back out of the green room. She had to tell Lydia. And Harry.

Izzy headed toward the concert hall, now empty. The last of the audience had left and it was a dark cavern, the floor of the pit littered with confetti. The arena was darker than it usually was, just the spotlight on.

Lydia was in the nosebleeds, feet resting on the railing of the balcony, arms out on the chairs on either side of her, breathing in the space. It actually looked bigger empty and with the lights off; Izzy was awestruck.

Izzy climbed her way up to Lydia, amazed at the sight of the empty hall from up there.

Izzy’s hair had fallen down during the concert and as she leaned over the railing, it dangled with her. Lydia snapped a picture.

“You look like Rapunzel. Or something like, out of Shakespeare.” Their voices echoed in the vast space.

“You mean Romeo and Juliet,” Izzy said. She hadn’t totally forgotten her minor in English.

Izzy puffed her chest out like a goofball and strutted the aisle, speaking out to the empty hall: “My only love, sprung from my only hate.”

“That I must love a loathed enemy…” a voice said from below.

That voice.

Izzy smiled. She couldn’t help it.

“Speak again, bright angel!” Harry laughed, coming out from under the balcony. “Oh, it’s just you, Izzy,” he said, mock disappointment in his tone. Lydia giggled and rushed downstairs.

Izzy leaned over and smiled at Harry. Lydia picked up a flower a fan had tossed onto the stage. 

Harry wore his outfit from the last song of the night, blue slacks and a glimmering tan shirt, now open to his waist. Tattooed wings peeked out on either side of his chest.

“My ears have not yet drunk a hundred words of your uttering, yet I know the sound,” said Izzy.

“I’m too bold; ’tis not to me she speaks,” Harry replied.

“I have no joy of this contact tonight. It’s too rash, too sudden!”

“That’s not how that goes!” Harry laughed. “Will you leave me so unsatisfied?”

“That’s not how that goes either!” They were both laughing now. Izzy followed Lydia down to the pit, calling after Harry, “what satisfaction can you have tonight?”

Lydia spun around the pit, kicking up the confetti on the floor. It floated around them like snow.

“A dance,” Harry said, holding out his hand and bowing like they were in a play. “Would you dance with me?”

“That’s more Jane Austen than Shakespeare,” Izzy said.

“Summertime sadness! Play summertime sadness!” Lydia cried. “They’re still in the booth,” she added, pointing above the balcony.

“He was just kidding,” Izzy said. Harry dropped his hand.

The chords of the opening came on. The song sounded like summer, lush and warm.

“Dance with him,” commanded Lydia. “I must be entertained. I want dancing, you’ve already done theatre.”

Harry held out his hand again and Izzy placed hers in his.

“I don’t really know how to dance like this,” she said.

Harry took her other hand.

“Just follow my feet.” He stepped back and Izzy stepped forward, then to the side, then back to the front, where she stepped on his toes.

“S’alright,” he said.

“Maybe I should practice with Lydia,” Izzy said. “We’re family. She won’t mind if I step all over her.”

“Not a chance,” Lydia called from the stage. She was propped up on her elbows, watching them, grinning.

They repeated the steps again, then Harry put his hand around her waist. Izzy was surprised she hadn’t broken both his feet by now, but the song was beautiful and easy to dance to. She felt totally calm. Harry pulled her closer and they danced the simple box step to start. Harry’s touch was different than George’s: it was deeper, firmer.

Izzy grew more confident in her steps and they floated around the pit, Harry leading her around the barricades in front of the stage and back around the first row of seats. Izzy managed to lift her eyes from the floor to see Harry’s kind smile; he was watching her while she was carefully watching her feet. Harry spun her and dipped her and she laughed as Lydia watched.

The song faded out, the last notes echoing in the hall. They danced until there was no more music, slowing down when there was only total silence left. Lydia clapped loudly and shouted her praise for their performance, asking for another one.

“Thanks,” Izzy stammered. “George is taking me to a charity thing tomorrow, and there’s dancing, apparently.” Harry stepped away from her.

“George is good at finding opportunities to get more press. I’m sure you’ll get lots of good photos.”

“I’m going as his date,” Izzy said. Harry dropped her hand.

“His date,” Harry said. “That was fast. You didn’t seem like George’s type.” Izzy felt devastated by the matter-of-fact tone of his voice. She felt her anger rising.

“You don’t know me,” Izzy shot back. This was true: she didn’t even know herself. Izzy was mad at Harry and had no problem speaking her mind because she didn’t care what he thought. And it felt so good to be honest and let it all out.

“Play Bel Air! Let’s do another one!” Lydia yelled from the stage. But no new music came on.

“Know you a little, I think,” said Harry, a little softer.

“I hope so,” Izzy said, calming down a bit. “I’m staying on the tour for the next few months. Now that Ryan got George to open for you for all the US shows, I can stay.”

“But you’re not a real social media person.”

“I know. I’m staying with George, as his girlfriend.”

Harry took a step closer to her. “Izzy, George is an asshole.”

“What is it with you two? He’s a real artist, you know,” Izzy protested. Harry scoffed. “Is it that you really can’t handle another guy in the spotlight?”

“You don’t belong here.” Harry said. “This isn’t you.”

“It could be.” You don’t belong here ricocheted around her mind like a thrown knife, cutting down the new image Izzy made of herself as a cool girlfriend with a cool job with the band.

“You’d be safer at home. I think you should go home.” The arrogance.

“Maybe I don’t want to be safe,” Izzy said.

“That’s too bad,” Harry said.

Izzy felt a sudden swell of determination to stay on the tour. She thought about what waited for her at home and shivered. Harry had no idea what he was talking about. You don’t belong here landed on her like a slap in the face. Her skin prickled with anger. It was different than the shame she usually felt.

“I’m staying.”

Just then, the lights flickered on in the arena and they were drowned in bright fluorescents. Lydia sat up, pressing her hands into her eyes.

“I’m sorry,” Izzy added, in spite of herself. She meant it, but she hated herself for saying it. Harry was being unreasonable, not her.

“It’s okay,” he said. “I love teaching you to dance so you can dance with other men.”

A breeze blew in from outside—Izzy could see the van from the other side of the hallway. “We’re clearing out.” Ryan was at the door, holding it open. 

Harry left Izzy without another word. Lydia followed him. Izzy lingered in the pit, watching the last of the confetti fall to the ground. George was in the van, and they were going back to the hotel together. Summertime Sadness lyrics played in her mind:

I feel it everywhere, nothing scares me anymore

Barbie (O-Ton)...

...lässt mich einmal mehr betrübt feststellen, dass es im Deutschen keine mir bekannte adäquate Übersetzung des englischen Wortes "silly" gibt, ein Begriff, der hierzulande nur mit negativ konnotierten Synonymen ausgedrückt, aber im anglikanischen Sprachgebrauch wesentlich neutraler, bisweilen gar positiv verwendet werden kann - ja, es gibt unser nettes "albern", aber in meinen Augen ist dies kein funktionierender Ersatz. Disney hatte vor knapp hundert Jahren schon seine "Silly Symphonies", Conan O'Brien trug diese Bezeichnung in seiner Hochzeit wie einen Ehrentitel, und ich hatte während der gestrigen Sichtung von "Barbie" sehr oft den Gedanken: "Das ist sehr silly. Und sehr schlau."

Great Gerwigs bonbonbunte Dekonstruktion und Huldigung eines der bekanntesten Spielzeuge der Welt begibt sich nicht selten angenehm respektlos und bisweilen sehr unmissverständlich in Diskurse um Patriarchat, Feminismus und der Meta-Frage, inwieweit es ein richtiges Filmemachen im Falschen gibt, also ob eine Großkonzern- und Kapitalismusschelte wirklich greifen kann, wenn der Film sehr klar auch darauf aus ist, ebendiesem Konzern eine Menge Kohle zu bringen - letztere Frage kann dieser Film gar nicht zufriedenstellend beantworten, weil sich die Katze hier selbst in den Schwanz beißt, weswegen ich die dahingehenden Kritikpunkte am Film nachvollziehen kann, auch wenn sie mich persönlich nicht sonderlich störten.

Schlechtere Filme würden bei so viel Inhalt und gerechtfertigter Botschaft Gefahr laufen, zum freudlosen Proseminar zu verkommen. Doch gerade die oben beschriebene sillyness, bereichert um eine große Portion überbordendem Herz und Liebe für alle Figuren, selbst für die scheißigen, ist der entscheidende Faktor, warum "Barbie" nicht untergeht, sondern stolz den Kopf über dem unbewegten Plastikkulissenwasser halten kann.

Getragen wird das sauwitzige Spektakel von einer gewohnt glänzenden Margot Robbie, die ihrer Figur gerade auch da Tiefe und ein reiches Innenleben schenkt, wo die Grinsefassade am souveränsten aufrecht gehalten wird, was zu Momenten führt, die sehr berührend, um ein Haar fast ergreifend sind, sowie einem Ryan Gosling mit eben jener Spielform, in der ich ihn nicht nur erträglich, sondern brillant finde, nämlich dem vollen Dödel-Modus.

Dieser Film legte nicht zuletzt aufgrund der "Barbenheimer"-Memes einen Start hin, der sich gewaschen hat. Doch es wäre nicht fair, Greta Gerwigs Megaerfolg nur darauf zurückzuführen, dass sich im Internet ein Kult um zwei grundverschiedene Werke bildete, so dass es mittlerweile in vielen Regionen der Welt schwierig ist, überhaupt noch an Karten zu komen.

Die für mich deutlich stimmigere Erklärung ist: "Barbie" ist schlicht und ergreifend sehr sehr gut.

“Ich verfilme meine Fanfiktion, aber zuvor kaufe ich halt die Rechte am Original” - Verfilmung im Jahr 2022

Jeder hat ja ein Recht auf seine eigene Meinung, aber ich finde, schon, dass ich, wenn ich etwas adaptieren möchte, zumindest wirklich das Werk, das ich angeblich apatiere, auch wirklich adaptieren sollte, und nicht, ihr wisst schon, nur den Namen verwenden sollte, weil ich damit mehr Geld machen würde als mit meiner Verfilmung eines Original-Werks von mir. Und wenn ich alles, was ich eigentlich adaptieren wollte, ändern muss, weil ich eine dumme Casting Entscheidung getroffen habe, und mein Werk dadurch wirklich so gut wie nichts mehr außer Namen und manche Charaktersituationen mit dem Werk, das ich adaptieren wollte, gemeinsam hat, dann war das vielleicht eine falsche Entscheidung, die ich nicht hätte treffen sollen, und ich hätte die Person feuern sollen solange es noch möglich gewesen wäre statt einfach weiterzumachen. Oder zumindest könnte ich den Anstand haben mein Machwerk umzubenennen und nicht laut zu behaupten, dass es trotz all den Änderungen eine treuere Adaption sein wird als die erste Verfilmung! Und wer jetzt die Rassismus-Karte spielt, den sei ehrlich gefragt was ihr dazu sagen würdet, wenn wir wirklich mal Ryan Reynolds als Barack Obama casten würden. Wer damit ein Problem hat, der sollte es auch umgekehrt haben dürfen, und wenn man sich dann verbiegen muss und Barack Obama auf einmal in diesem Film nicht mehr der erste schwarzen President der Vereinigen Staaten ist, na ja, dann hat man wohl bei der Verfilmung etwas falsch gemacht, oder nicht?

Ja, ich spreche mal wieder von dieser neuen “Interview mit einem Vampir”-Verflmung über die sie groß Anne Rices Namen drüberschreiben, weil sie ja tot ist und sich nicht mehr wehren kann, obwohl sie Haupthandlung jetzt in den 1910er spielt (im Sinne von Louis war damals im sterblicher Mann), Claudia von einer erwachsenen Frau gespielt wird, von der man eindeutig sieht, dass sie sehr wohl alleine zurecht kommt und kein bisschen hilflos ist (und daher keinerlei Charaktermotivation für irgendwelche ihrer Taten hat), Daniel, falls er das überhaupt sein soll, von einem alten Mann gespielt wird, und ja, natürlich ist Jacob Anderson kein reicher weißer Plantagenbesitzer und Sklavenhalter, denn immerhin spielt die Handlung ja 1910. Aber jetzt sind ja lauter explizite (Vampir)-Sex-Szenen drinnen, und Louis ist endlich eindeutig deswegen unglücklich, weil er heimlich schwul ist, und darum ging es doch immer in Wahrheit in den Roman, also worüber regt ihr euch auf (Anmerkung: Nein, darum ging es nicht. *Read the Book-Gif eingefügt*).

Aber was soll’s. Offenbar will ja keiner mehr eine wirkliche Verfilmung von etwas. Wenn sie “Hunger Games” heutzutage verfilmen würden, würde der erste Film in unserer Gegenwart spielen, weil das so billiger wäre, und Katniss und Peeta hätten Live-Sex vor den Kameras um so mehr Sponsoren zu kriegen, und die würden es trotzdem eine Verfilmung nennen. Hauptsache die “Spirit” stimmt. Wen kümmern schon solche nebensächlichen Details wie Charaktermotivationen, Charakterbackround, oder wann etwas stattfindet? Ist ja nicht so als ob die Frage wann etwas spielt, die Handlung von einem Werk bestimmen könnte. Ist ja nicht so, dass wir heute ständig ältere Filme und Serien aus dem 20. Jahrhundert ansehen würden und dabei laut zueinander sagen würden “Wenn die damals Handys gehabt hätten, dann wäre dieser Film/diese Serie ganz anders”.

Aber es ist nun mal so: Die Menschen sind heutzutage zu dumm für Subtext, man muss ihnen alles erklären und graphisch darstellen, und selbst dann reicht es nicht. Die Idee, dass eine erwachsene Seele gefangen in einem unreifen Körper darunter leiden könnte, war ja schon bei “Eternals” zuviel für die Zuseher. Tatsächlich hat dieser Film nicht nur ein wenig an die wirklichen “Vampire-Chroniken” erinnert, was die Charaktere angeht. Und da so viele darüber gejammert haben (obwohl er erfolgreich war), war das eine Warnung, dass diese Art von Erzählung eh keiner sehen will.

Und dann ist da ja noch die Tatsache, dass man ja auch die Buchleser überraschen will. Die wollen doch nicht alles wissen was passiert! Man tut ihnen doch einen Gefallen! Newsflash an gewisse Produzenten von “Outlander”: Doch wir wollen alles wissen, was passiert, deswegen sind wir ja Buchleser. Wenn wir eine Verfilmung wollen, dann wollen wir nicht überrascht werden, sondern die tatsächliche Handlung verfilmt sehen und nicht ein Event aus Buch 6 in vollkommen anderen Kontext in die Story von Buch 5 hineingestopft präsentiert bekommen. Möglicherweise war diese inhaltliche Entscheidung der Grund warum wir die 6. Staffel von “Outlander” im deutschsprachigen Raum nur gegen Bezahlung für Einzelepisoden bei Amazon zu sehen bekommen.

Und nein, natürlich ist eine Verflmung immer anders, und natürlich muss es immer Änderungen zum Original geben und manchmal auch sehr große. Aber es kommt immer auf das Ausmaß und die Anzahl dieser Änderungen an. Und wann sie beginnen. Wenn der verdammte Ausgangspunkt einer Narration verändert wird, dann ist das keine einfache Änderung mehr, dann ist es eine Transformation, und zu viel davon und es ist keine Adaption mehr!

Und klar, dass ist auch okay. Fanfiktions machen das dauernd und trotzdem sind manche sehr gut gelungen. Und ja mit so was verdienen Leute mitunter auch Geld, nur dass die dann ihr Werk “Westside Story” und nicht “William Shakespeare: Romeo und Julia” nennen, oder “Bridget Jones” nennen und nicht “Jane Austen: Stolz und Vorurteil” oder “Fifty Shades of Grey” und nicht “Twilight”. Und das haben diese Leute nicht nur getan, weil sie nicht verklagt werden wollten (nun ja in einem Fall, die anderen haben das lange nach dem Copyright Verfall der Ur-Werke getan, aber ihr wisst was ich meine), sondern auch weil mehr von ihnen als vom Original in diesen Transformationen steckt, und weil man wenn man Karten für “Romeo und Julia” kauft eben nicht stattdessen “Westside Story” vorgesetzt bekommen möchte, egal ob “Westside Story” nun das bessere Stück sein mag oder nicht.

Im Grunde wissen wir ja, dass das MCU an allem Schuld ist. Die haben bewiesen, dass man an seiner Vorlage so viel ändern kann wie man will und es trotzdem Milliarden Menschen anschauen.

Anderseits gibt es einen Unterschied dazwischen ob man ein seit Jahrzehnten laufendes Superhelden-Comic verfilmt oder eine Buchreihe mit ein Dutzend Romanen oder so. Liest man ein Spidey-Comic aus den 60ern, eines aus den 70ern, eines aus den 80ern, eines aus den 90ern, eines aus den 2000ern, eines aus den 2010ern, und das Aktuelle aus diesem Monat wird man feststellen, dass man sehr unterschiedliche Geschichten vorgelegt bekommt, dass mitunter nicht einmal Peter Parker die Hauptfigur in all diesen Comics ist, dass er unterschiedlich alt ist, unterschiedliche Love Interests und Familienkonstellationen hat, unterschiedlichen Berufen nachgeht, verschiedene Kostüme trägt. Wenn man jetzt nicht gerade hingeht und sagt man vefilmt “Kravens letzte Jagd” sondern einfach nur “Spider-Man” verfilmt, dann ja, kann man machen was man will, unter gewissen Vorgaben, wenn man den Film aber “Kravens letzte Jagd” nennt und stattdessen “Spider-Geddon” verfilmt, dann hat mein ein Problem. Und ja, genau das hat das MCU leider auch getan: Die haben Comicstoryline-Titel genommen und Filme, die nichts damit zu tun haben, produziert; und offenbar bekommen wir jetzt einen Film namens “Black Panther” ohne Black Panther darin. Und Marvel Studios kommt mit diesen Verhalten durch und hat Erfolg damit, was wiederum andere in der Idee bestärkt, dass man sich Rechte zu Verfilmungen nur deswegen kauft weil man Phileas Fogg Atlantis entdecken lassen will oder Sherlock Holmes gegen den Yeti kämpfen lassen will, und demnächst werden wir wohl Anna Karenina endlich ihr Happy End fernab des Zuges finden lassen in der modernen Version, die den Russen sagt, das sie uns alle mal können.

Das ist halt offenbar zur Zeit in, und wir nehmen es hin, weil es uns scheinbar nicht stört. Aber das sollte es.

Denn wenn wir im Restaurant Rind bestellen und stattdessen Menschenfleisch serviert bekommen ist das nicht nur aus dem offensichtlichen Grund eine kriminelle Handlung. Warum denkt ihr gibt es immer wieder Pferdefleisch-Skandale? Mehr noch, heutzutgage müssen alle Allergene in den Karten markiert werden; wenn man sich extra was ohne Nüsse bestellt, weil man anschwill und stirbt, wenn man Nüsse isst, und man dann Nüsse vorgesetzt bekommt, dann regt man sich doch auch auf, oder?

Also ist es wohl auch gut und Recht, wenn man sich darüber aufregt, dass eine sogenannte Verfilmung nichts außer den Namen der handelnden Personen und den Titel der Werks mit dem, was angeblich verfilmt wird, gemeinsam hat, oder?

Also, ja, wir sollten endlich aufhören solche Sachen hinzunehmen und uns darüber beschweren, denn ansonsten erleben wir bald alle eine Neuverfilmung des “Dschungelbuchs”, das sich auch so nennt, wo ein weiblicher Mogwli von Chinesen im 21. Jahrhundert in Hongkong aufgezogen wird und Schir Kahn ein böser schwertschwingender Japaner ist.

Und das wäre vielleicht ein netter Film, aber mit Sicherheit keine Verfilmung vom “Dschungelbuch”.

Bis Rachel merkt, dass sie Gefühle für Ryan entwickelt hat. Sie versucht ihm bestmöglich aus dem Weg zu gehen und sich ihm gegenüber weiterhin freundschaftlich zu verhalten. Bis sie eines Tages für Biologie zusammen an einem Projekt arbeiten. Es kommt immer wieder zu prickelnden Situationen zwischen den beiden und schließlich zu einem Kuss. Kann Rachel weiterhin ihre Gefühle zu Ryan verbergen? Und was fühlt er für sie? Mir hat das Buch sehr gut gefallen. Der Schreibstil der Autorin Michelle Pietsch ist sehr flüssig zu lesen, gefühlvoll, jung, frisch und lebendig. Es handelt sich um eine Young Adult Liebesgeschichte und ich habe mich beim Lesen dieses Buches in meine Jugendzeit zurück versetzt gefühlt und konnte die überschäumenden Gefühle der ersten Liebe so richtig mitfühlen und genießen. Ich habe den ersten Teil: "A Glimpse For You" bereits gelesen und mich da schon in die Clicque und die Charaktere verliebt. Das Buchcover finde ich sehr schön und passt gut zum 1. Band. Die Charakterkarte von Rachel und Ryan ist so süß, sie wurden genauso dargestellt, wie ich sie mir beim Lesen vorgestellt habe. Rachel ist eine sehr ehrgeizige, junge Frau, die viel lernt und alles dafür gibt ihre Träume zu erfüllen. Sie möchte Ärztin werden und arbeitet Tag für Tag hart dafür. Ryan ist mir auch von Anfang an sehr sympathisch gewesen. Die Liebesgeschichte zwischen den beiden ist spannend zu lesen. Die erste Liebe mit all den Unsicherheiten, dem Prickeln beim ersten Kuss und die vielen überschäumenden Gefühle...Herrlich. Die Nebencharaktere, der Freundeskreis sind so toll, ich habe sie alle tief ins Herz geschlossen. Das Buch handelt von der ersten großen Liebe, von Freundschaft und den Problemen, die junge Leute in dem Alter haben. … Während sich die anderen Reisenden gegenseitig anschreien, versuche ich lösungsorientiert zu handeln. Spontan laufe ich rund 100 Meter nordwärts, wo rund 30 private Reisebusse dicht aneinander stehen. Ich spreche einen Busfahrer nach dem anderen an, in der Hoffnung es fährt irgendeiner nach Galway. Aber dem ist nicht so: Von überall sind diese Reisecars heute angereist, aber eben nicht aus dem Norden. Doch dann, nach unzähligen Absagen, finde ich tatsächlich ein Busunternehmen, welches in rund 10 Minuten nach Galway zurückfahren wird! Und das Beste: 6 der 53 Plätze sind noch frei, der nette Herr mit seinem langen, grauen Haar möchte mich tatsächlich mitnehmen. Ich laufe rasch zur Bushaltestelle zurück, um diese Neuigkeit den anderen zu verkünden. Während sich die meisten bereits ein Taxi bestellt haben (...), schauen 3 Däninnen noch immer recht bedröppelt aus der Wäsche. Ich schnappe mir die drei und wir spurten gemeinsam zum Reisebus, welcher uns wohl gleich nach Galway bringen wird. Der Busfahrer besteht darauf, uns kostenlos mitzunehmen. Doch wie sollen wir ihm stattdessen dafür danken? Spontan animiere ich die anderen 47 Reisegäste zu einem Applaus für den Busfahrer, was glücklicherweise gelingt. Und so sitzen wir plötzlich in einem komfortablen Reisecar, erhalten viele spannende Infos zu Irland und besuchen während der Fahrt sogar noch einen Aussichtspunkt. Zurück in Galway, kann ich nun endlich machen, worauf ich mich schon den ganzen Tag freue: Ein erneuter Besuch im Restaurant "Zappi's"! Der Kellner erkennt mich sofort wieder, er weiss sogar noch was ich gestern bestellt hatte. Ganz nach dem Motto "never change a winning team", bestelle ich heute genau dasselbe gleich nochmal: Tagliatelle Pomodoro mit ofenwarmem Pizzabrot! Ein Träumchen. Und nun? Im Hostel herrscht eine Totenstille, wo sind die denn alle? Auch wenn ich unfassbar müde bin, entscheide ich mich spontan dazu, den heutigen Freitag mit einem Pub Crawl ausklingen zu lassen. Wir sind zwar nur 6 Teilnehmer, doch das Trüppchen ist der Hammer! Da wären erstmal die zwei Girls: Ellie aus Australien und Maud aus Kanada. Komplett sind wir aber erst durch Peter aus Neuseeland, Ryan aus den USA und Vyom aus Indien. Internationaler könnte dieses Pubcrawl wohl nicht sein, doch wir verstehen uns alle prächtig. Und ich muss feststellen: Galway blüht bei Nacht so richtig auf! Die Stadt wird zu einer einzigen, grossen Ausgangsmeile… verwinkelte Pubs mit Livemusik an jeder Ecke! Ich werde wohl nie vergessen, wie wir in strömendem Regen von Bar zu Bar gerannt sind. So wird es denkbar spät, bis auch ich wieder ins Hostel zurückkehre und dort innert weniger Sekunden einschlafe…

In the spirit of Halloween, here are some headcanons for what the Punch Out characters would do during this spooky season. This sort of ties into my mansion AU where they all live together in a mansion but that’s the only context you need to understand this.

Glass Joe

-Isn’t the biggest fan of candy.

-Bakes/cooks his own Halloween sweets, like cookies and cupcakes that he loves decorating.

-Favourite halloween food is candy apples.

-Doesn’t like horror movies.

-Goes through haunted houses with the others and squeals at the jumpscares.

-Makes his own costumes. They’re all incredibly silly but he tries to be scary. Nobody has the heart to tell him he isn’t.

-Really likes pocky, which Hondo introduced to him.

Von Kaiser

-Screams while giving out candy and throws them at the kids

-Doesn’t dress up.

-Helps Glass Joe decorate cookies and cupcakes.

-Watches horror movies and goes to haunted houses to prove he isn’t a coward. Ends up clinging to someone the whole time.

-Tries to go easy on the candy.

-Favourite candy is Reese’s

Disco Kid

-Dresses as musical characters or musicians. Has gone as Michael Jackson multiple times.

-Listens and dances to Thriller all the time.

-Calls October the “Spookay Season,”

-Lies about his age to go trick or treating “One is never too old for free candy!” “I’m a Disco Kid!”

-Goes to haunted houses and parties as well.

-Gets scared watching scary movies.

-Favourite candy is Starburst.

-Absolutely splurges on the candy.

King Hippo

-Eats all of the candy.

-Would try to eat it all before Halloween if it was bought pre-emptively.

-Sits at home and eats the candy.

-Is confused when the others watch horror movies.

Piston Hondo

-Gives out traditional japanese candies to trick or treaters and introduced these candies to the others.

-His favourite candy is Apollo. (A Japanese candy.)

-Still tries to eat somewhat healthy on Halloween, going easy on the candy and eating regular meals.

-Isn’t the biggest fan of American candy. “It has too much sugar.”

-Drives the others to and from parties if they need him to, but doesn’t attend himself.

-If he wears a costume at all, I could see him going as a samurai.

Bear Hugger

-Would 100% dress as a bear and you can’t convince me otherwise.

-Also splurges on candy.

-Favourite is Mike n’ Ikes.

-Watches horror movies with the others just to spend time with them.

-Loves going to parties too.

-Likes bobbing for apples.

-Gets the others to carve pumpkins with him and decorate the front of the mansion with them.

Great Tiger

-He would either be a cat or a tiger for Halloween. Either way, it’s a pretty minimalist costume.

-Each of his clones have the costume too.

-Didn’t really know what Halloween was until living in America so he just sort of goes along with what the others are doing.

-Helps the others put up decorations super high.

-Teleports away if something startles him in a haunted house. The others have trouble finding him after.

-Favourite candy is Sour Patch Kids. Would also love anything remotely spicy.

-Definitely pulls some pranks with his magic. “It’s trick or treat after all.”

-Is mostly pretty chill at the parties.

-Goes with Don Flamenco and Disco Kid when the latter trick or treats just to look at all the weird decorations (and low-key to spend time with his friends.)

Don Flamenco

-Gets super excited about putting up extravagant decorations all around the mansion and seeing all the fabulous costumes.

-Great Tiger often has to help him put the decorations in increasingly crazy places. (ie: the chandelier, the roof). Disco Kid also tries to help.

-Absolutely LOVES pocky and has definitely played the game with Carmen and maybe the others boxers at some point.

-Tries to pick a different costume every year. This year it’s a vampire.

-Goes to haunted houses with the others and is very dramatic when jumpscared. Is the same when watching horror movies.

-Brings the fruit punch to the party.

-Doesn’t have a favourite candy. Just eats all of them.

-He and Disco Kid play all of the Halloween themed songs on Just Dance and try to get Tiger involved too.

Aran Ryan

-PRANKS GALORE.

-Seriously, he’s always a prankster but he goes even more extreme on Halloween.

-Goes to multiple parties in one night, often stealing candy and wine from each.

-For some reason I like the idea of him dressing as a werewolf.

-Headbutts the water to bob for apples.

-Drinks a crap ton of alcohol as well. “It’s Halloween, I can splurge!”

-Brings alcohol to spike his punch with.

-Would definitely grief someone’s house with toilet paper.

-The most chill thing he will do is watch horror movies. In fact, he probably started that trend.

-Favourite candy is gummy worms. Probably also likes candy corn.

-Drags the others to corn mazes.

-Jumps in piles of leaves right after the others finish raking it. (Okay this one isn’t really Halloween themed but it’s something he would do.)

Soda Popinski

-He and Aran Ryan attend parties together, mixing every drink just to experiment.

-Will also help with his pranks.

-Also didn’t really know what Halloween was before America.

-Would go as a mummy. I don’t know why this came to mind, but I want it to be a thing.

-Loves any type of chocolate.

-Gives out cans of normal soda to trick or treaters. The kids love it.

-Bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to horror movies. Aran Ryan tries to awkwardly comfort him.

Aran: It’s just a dead person.

Soda: THAT IS THE PROBLEM, ARAN!

Bald Bull

-Doesn’t dress up.

-Questions the hell out of everything. (In broken english) “Why do you break the orange vegetables? What is this nonsense?!”

-Follows Bear Hugger around the whole night.

-Helps him carve pumpkins, even though it confuses him greatly.

-Viciously feasts on the candy. His favourite is Snickers.

-Bites lollipops/suckers into pieces, scaring the shit out of everyone.

-Is generally unfazed by the horror movies. If something does scare him, he will lash out at the screen.

-Tries to scare off trick or treaters.

SMM

-Would throw a party at his own mansion, inviting tons of people.

-Has the most over the top decorations, making Don super jealous.

-Tons of alcohol and candy.

-Aran and Soda grief his place and crash the party.

Mr. Sandman

-Wore a zombie costume on a dare from Disco Kid.

-He’s kinda like Bald Bull but more chill and knows what Halloween is.

-He loved trick or treating as a kid and totally went as Mike Tyson one year.

-Also bites lollipops and suckers.

-Gives out candy, since he really isn’t into the parties or haunted houses like the others.

-Scares the kids, but is more light-hearted about it.

-Watches horror movies with the others and isn’t scared at all.

-Will help Glass Joe with his Halloween snacks if requested.

-Sandman generally isn’t a prankster, but he might prank Little Mac.

-He likes the really sweet candy the best and his favourite is Hershey’s.

Doc Louis

-Loves handing out candy to the kids and often does it with Hondo and Sandman.

-Probably dresses as something cute, like a dog or something.

-Obviously really loves chocolate bars.

-Will buy the king sized ones on Halloween, with Three Musketeers and Milky Ways being his favourites.

-Along with Hondo, he tries to make sure nobody is getting into too much trouble.

-Will ride around the neighborhood on his bike to look at all the decorations. Little Mac will jog after him.

Inktober 2020 Part Deux: Electric Boogaloo. (-:

Ja, ich will auch gar nicht lange um den heißen Brei herumreden,,, ich sollte nur vielleicht erwähnen, dass die Reihenfolge oben ein bisschen vertauscht ist, weil das mit der Formatierung sonst scheiße ausgesehen hätte, aber kümmert euch nicht darum. 8D

Day 10 : Finneas + 😳 – Ja, eines von gefühlt anderthalb Bildern, die ich je von Finn gezeichnet habe,,, aber das wird sich bald ändern! Waffelfinn is on the way!!! 8D That’s him trying to act normal btw. (-:

Day 11 : Lyn Amara + 👢 – Das ist das einzige Fullbody, das ich für diesen Inktober gemacht habe, was aber ehrlich gesagt auch nur an der Prompt lag … ich meine, zählt das bei dem Detaillevel überhaupt als Fullbody? ^^; Sorry, I have a soft spot for Goth Lyn … u_u

Day 12 : Swift + 🐧 – Okay, ich glaube, das ist eines meiner Faves, weil es einfach extrem niedlich ist?! Ich bin total froh, dass so viele Charaktere hier einfach total verdiente, süße, kuschelige Prompts bekommen haben tbh. :///D Kisses Pingu-Swift …

Day 13 : Tave + 🌜 – Ah yes … my boy. (^: Overlooking the city at night like the bootleg batman that he is. Hier hab ich sogar mal ein bisschen Overlay gemacht, aber auch wirklich nur, weil der Nachthimmel teil der Prompt war … e-es ist nicht so, dass ich Tave mag, b-baka! )//:<

Day 14 : Ash + 👑 – Nugget Nummero Uno als mein schlechter Game-Of-Thrones-OC I guess … 8D They DO deserve a crown. Und ich weiß auch nicht, was ich mir bei dieser Textur auf dem Mantel gedacht hab … da ist wohl doch wieder das ‘Ink’ in ‘Inktober’ durchgekommen. (Funfact: Als ich das Bild gezeichnet hab, stand da am Rand noch ‘Eiwaz-Coal’ … good times. 8D)

Day 15 : Rhy + 🍂 – My cozy little murder boy got assigned ‘Ryan’ at Starbucks … das ist das Mindeste, was er für seine crimes bekommt tbh. Und ihr könnt mir auch nicht weismachen, dass er KEINE pinken Plüschohrwärmer hätte. 8DD (Das erinnert mich an ein Bild von mir auf Klassenfahrt in der zehnten Klasse … ho boy, difficult times,,)

Day 16 : Coal + 📓 – Was tut Nugget Nummero Dos? Ich weiß es nicht. Prüft seine Death-Note-Einträge auf Rechtschreibung I guess. 8DDD Oder korrigiert Ashs Hausaufgaben. Oder er liest das Blank-Rune-Manuskript und ist gerade bei Hagalaz angekommen,,, (Funfact: das Sternchenmuster habe ich mit freundlicher Erlaubnis von einem Bild von Linda geklaut. >://Dc)

Day 17 : Arna + 👁 – Ich hatte keine Ahnung, was ich sonst bei dieser Prompt hätte zeichnen sollen … sie starrt gerade Lexa an, die ein paar neue Outfits in der Umkleidekabine ausprobiert, schätze ich mal? 8D Little froggy …

Day 18 : Fatima + 💫 – Das hier ist eines meiner least favourite Bilder, muss ich gestehen … irgendwie ist es mir einfach nicht wirklich gut gelungen, finde ich. :-/ Die Prompt hat aber auch nicht so wirklich gut zum Charakter gepasst. Oder ich war einfach nicht kreativ genug, das kann natürlich auch sein. 8D (Ich erlaube mir übrigens immer, Fatima in sämtlichen Modern!AUs etwas runder zu zeichnen, weil ich will, dass sie eine gute Ernährung hat, so wie sie es verdient … also, wem das schon mal aufgefallen ist, das soll so sein! 8D Ebenfalls, wer erkennt, von welchem anderen Nicht-Blankie-Rune-Bild ich die Farbpalette und das Outfit geklaut habe, bekommt eine Erdnuss.)
