Gregor seems as delighted as Boba is troubled to realise that their would-be customer is more cunning than he seems.

Allow me to recommend one more awesome Bobadin fic - since @sidhebeingbrand and @toughbreaks were kind enough to let me illustrate their fic for my "Jaster lives" square for @bobadinweek's Bobadin AU bingo card... with a bit of cheating - my love for which only grows and grows with time (and trust me, it does get better with every re-read! ). Fantastic and delightful world building with Victorian era and fae magic, and beautifully written characters where every single one of them vibrate with life. (Boba gets to suffer his 99 siblings, Jango is forced through some emotional catharsis kicking and screaming, and Din is trying his best to be a dad of a fae child. It's just the best, okay?) I'll eventually want to make one more drawing for chapter 2, I just realized during my latest re-read that I imagined the whole scene wrong ^^;

Concept: after the events of the manga, Mob, now seeking to accept all of himself, becomes looser with the usage of his powers. His vast strength, once so tightly kept to himself, dense and suffocating, expands. As a result, things start happening that he doesn't exactly mean to happen. Little things, little accidents - tying his shoes without thinking, flickering the lights when he's upset, the plants around him standing taller when he's happy. And they pile up, little things becoming big things, until the whole of seasoning city is pretty much coated in his aura. A gentle presence now that it isn't so concentrated in one place.
The espers in the area can obviously feel it, but the non-espers come to notice it too in other, subtler ways - the plums beggining to bloom earlier in spring. The weather forecasts becoming more unreliable, as sunny days come when it was meant to be cloudy, or wind sometimes picks up out of nowhere, or rain arrives sooner than expected. A lot of car accidents get saved from a lethal end just from seemingly sheer luck. The creepy sounds that one and another have been haunted by dissapear suddenly. And at times, out of nowhere, more than before, people stop to think, just how lucky they are.
From this, new urban legends arise, and the common consensus that believers arrive at in the end, is that a benelovent spirit has entered town to bless it with small miracles. But at the center of it remains, in truth, an unintentional protector - just one small boy, named Kageyama Shigeo.

Yttd au idea where somehow the trials for the ai of the participants were leaked to many Internet platforms before the participants were kidnapped.
I just think it would be fun. Imagine if it got leaked and before they could delete everything, the netizens that have seen it just started spreading it. Mostly because q-taro, kurumada, reko and alice wrre there and everyone speculated that they were somehow casted to this movie?
Random person: nah, it seems to be a small project tho? How did they manage to cast reko damn.
Random person 2: does anyone know who these people are? Because that blonde guy looks really hot.
Random person 3: agree agree! Holy fuck.
Random person 4: before op deleted everything, from what I know it was made from AI
Random person 5: Holy shit, this looks interesting. Why are there so many takes of this?
Random person 6: ai??? Wtf???
And many more people started chiming in, before
Random user: hold on, one of the characters looks like my classmate?
And that's how the trials of the ai for the death game got spread and soon it got to the actual participants.
(I just think this would be a fun for an au because this somehow becomes the reason why everyone tried to find each other so that they can solve this mystery.)
I'm thinking everyone would probably be mortified when they watch it, especially shin who just witnessed in every trial that he dies no matter what.

Sorry for the question, but are you still writing "Dodged a Beetle", "Copycat" and "Manynette High Sodium Edition"?
Ish, but not really. ML isn't apart of my focus rn, those fics are a once a blue moon I hop back onto those WIPs to work on them. Unless the Muse directs me one day to do ML stuff (which is usually fueled by me feeling salty for how ML is), the passion and interests to do ML fics just isn't really there.
As of now, the fics are more shelved projects I'll work on occasionally, but they just don't hold my interest at this time. To write for them right now is more of a chore and it feels like a dragging process to try and write for them when I'm not feeling it. As of now, it's more my original ideas that do spark off that passion and enjoyment. They're more fun to think about and write for. And much of what I write isn't being fueled by salt and irritation as most of my latest ML works have been.
So atm, I'm not writing for ML, but I am holding onto those ideas and I got others that I have saved and would like to do one day, they just have to wait until I can really get into writing for ML again.

Buck’s phone rings, and he pulls it out of his pocket, his hands shaking when he reads Bobby’s contact name. He answers before he can even register it. “Pops?” His voice is quiet and terrified.

Hearing footsteps from his spot on the couch, Buck tenses as Nathan comes up the stairs. It’s been so long, but Buck can still recognize the man’s footfalls. He lets out a breath he’d been subconsciously holding when Nathan finally appears and moves towards one of the armchairs across from him instead of the couch.

“Jurassic Park!” Chris yells, and Buck has to cover his ears against the sound, the kid’s excitement causing him to be louder than usual. “Please, Dad, I know it’s kind of scary, but they just put it back on Netflix, and I’ve seen it before! Plus, I’m ten now, I won’t have nightmares!”

“I don’t want you to get hurt again,” Eddie says, meeting Buck’s gaze. His eyes are soft and despite his words, they shine with support, and Buck thinks—not for the first time—how lucky he is to have a best friend like Eddie.

Nate had just nodded before taking Buck’s hand and kissing him, saying he’d buy the plane tickets in the morning. Buck had assumed they’d be going back together to be together.

Eddie glares at Chim when he insists on playing with the station’s small Hildy gadget that they keep in the kitchen. They mostly use it to play music, but Chimney takes the opportunity to ask her a bunch of questions throughout the day and only stops when Eddie threatens to run her over with a fire truck after Chimney starts asking her questions about the 118 themselves.
