What's your thoughts about the unifications?
Conceptually, unification works. Honestly, I think it makes sense being able to dual wield Miraculous. Especially working off positive and negative energy/yin-yang.
It works off that theme of balance, having two different energies being able to work together.
But, much like anything in canon, I feel the concept could've gone farther.
Like, I think it'd be neat that unification could lead to animals that don't exist as Miraculous:
Ladybug + any feline creates a Leopard themed hero.
Any bug + any reptile creates a Dragonfly themed hero.
Any reptile + any bird creates a Dragon themed hero.
Any cat + any bird creates a Griffin themed hero.
Horse + Fish could've made a Seahorse themed hero.
Cat + Goat could've made a Chimera themed hero.
Not that they really went that way and just went weird with the naming, combing the names of preexisting heroes instead of letting characters name themselves and working off their own unique personalities. Like, instead of Pegabug, I could've seen Marinette calling herself Appaloosa or if you want to go punny, Appleloosa.
I also think that dual wielding Miraculous shouldn't be that difficult, as pairs are something that always exist, and I can see the body handling matching with two different types of magical energy. Now, wielding more than 2 I can see being set up to take a toll on the body as there's more magical energy to work off of, and the higher you go the more tired you're going to be.
Though I could just be biased as I feel the temporary heroes weren't necessary and Marinette and Adrien could've juts unified with the rest and continue to handle things; I also feel that, post meeting Fu and him able to see that they were trustworthy and dedicated and were able to succeed despite HM having the being an adult edge, they should've gotten a 2nd Miraculous to have full time, not only to help give them a boost, but also allow continued growth.
Ladybug/Tikki did help with Marinette's growth in confidence and being a leader, but there's nothing else TIkki is adding to her growth (which I find it's kinda debatable how much Tikki really added to Marinette's over all growth), but at this time, Ladybug and Tikki just work off this is a responsibility than something for Marinette to grow as a character. And now she's developing an Atlas complex and that anxiety is getting worse with the pressure and expectation of the role and no one there telling Marinette she needs to prioritize and value her own needs and wants. I don't even know if this girl knows how to relax at this point. And that there is the next phase for Marinette's growth. She needs to learn to put down boundaries, to say no, to not involve herself as much, and think about her own needs and wants, cause you can't really help others until you help yourself.
Cat/Plagg was good for Adrien to gain that independence he wants, be more rebellious against his father, and to self-prioritize. But now he prioritizes his wants way too much, doesn't really treat heroing with the seriousness required nor has he stepped up as a leader and equal to Ladybug, and still readily endangers himself, to the point of self-sacrificing. And that's the next phase for his growth, get a Miraculous and kwami that will address those, learn to be more serious in fights, not to say he can no longer be a wisecrack but save the flirting and pranks for night patrols not akuma fights, step up as a leader and truly share that burden, which would've helped his partner rely on him more and trust his capability more, and address that self-sacrificing. Either learn to be more cautious or think a little bit more before acting. Like, great, you saved your partner by sacrificing yourself, but you also left her alone to deal with things, and what if the fight went poorly because she was alone, and she fails, and that sacrifice was pointless. I don't know how many more times he did so, but man it needed to be addressed.
Another factor is that unification could've been extra interesting in that combing Miraculous could've created new powers through the combination of preexisting powers.
Like Shelter + Venom could've created Shell Shock, where hitting the shield would shock and stun a target.
Shelter + Cataclysm or Clout could've made Bombshell, put up a protective dome and it sends out a destructive blast or shock wave around you.
Mirage + Cataclysm could've made Nightmare, where the illusion creates someone's worst fears.
Second Chance + Cataclysm could've made Hissterics, getting a target to live in the worst timeline.
Time travel could've existed as a unification power through combining Horse and Snake/Rabbit, if the latter still has a time power.
Though neat an idea it is, it is something that would work better with fewer Miraculous, as 19 that canon has is a lot of powers to think of possibly combining. That is 361 matches to think about and how they make a new power. And now that I got 35 I won't be doing the concept either, even more so as I'm going with Miraculous having 2 powers to offer.
So unification is a neat concept, but I think it could've gone further if they were more creative. Definitely prefer it to the potions.

I hope there is a chance for the bh to try and resurrect fcg, despite the result because I think it says a lot for the friends of someone who sacrificed themselves to try and get them back because they want them back to them. I don’t mind if fcg comes back or not it’s about the characters holding on
I'm almost certain Bell's Hells will try to get F.C.G back, although I'm unsure if it will be posed above table as a legitimate rez attempt or whether its going to be more a scene of collective grief and effort by the Bells, in character, that will take me out at the knees while reaffirming their love and the depth of their loss, but without the out-of-game framing of a legitimate chance to bring back F.C.G.
I assume that distinction will depend largely/almost exclusively on how Sam feels about bringing F.C.G back + whatever the cast have discussed since the ep happened, but! If it is any comfort, I do not see any world in which the next episode does not display how much the Bell's Hells care about F.C.G and how much they'd want to bring him back, while struggling with the weight and reality of the intentional sacrifice that F.C.G chose. And whatever happens, I see the potential for a deeply compelling story/character interplay that's gonna. Kick my ass. <3
Ugh just. the entire premise of. your friend sacrificed themselves for you. it worked. so now what. is fucking devastating. and can spin out so many ways. Im not sure what will happen. fascinated to see what direction they'll take it.

how did u use the law to shift. like what did u do
to put it in the simplest way possible, i basically lived in the end. i repeatedly thought to myself that i'm a master shifter "which i already am but just to reassure myself" and thought that i was in my dr. and i just kept living in the end for like 1-2ish? days. after that, i shifted for the very first time!!
how to live in the end? think as if you already have what you want. that's it. it may depend on every person though, to some, living in the end is thinking that your desires will manifest soon, and some others think that their desires have already manifested. so what is it like for you? it could be even different from the ones that i've mentioned. either way it always goes back to an inner knowing that it's real, an acceptance that you don't have to do anything for it because there's nothing to do. IT IS DONE!!!
one big thing for almost every shifter during the start of their journeys was that other 'fake' shifters would always try to complicate shifting? like they'd always say 'you have to mediate in order to shift' or 'you have to drink gallons of water' when in reality, it requires absolutely nothing. it's literally as easy as breathing you just have to let sink into your head.
people have dived too much into loa and just completely forgot the base of it all. it DOES NOT matter if you use states, affirming, visualizing.. etc. AS LONG AS you live in the end. the way you do it does not matter, just enter that state and maintain it.
the thought that shifting requires work or external battles and stuff is completely false. you have been shifting your whole entire life from the very beginning till now without even lifting a finger, without being aware of your 'limiting beliefs', without needing to 'reprogram your mind' or 'do challenges' so what makes the difference now that you're consciously shifting? nothing.
i hope i explained this well since i wrote most of it while my head was pounding :3 + if you need further explanation this post talks about it perfectly

Your body is slick with sweat from exertion and effort, your hips rolling in a nearly hypnotic fashion, he watches the rise and fall of your body, watches as the soaking wet and silken heat of you envelopes him over and over. You’d been at this for a while, taking him inside of yourself, the stretch delicious, the burn in your thighs mounting as they trembled, breath coming out in short pants, his body rocking with yours, hands on your waist, sharp blades biting into soft flesh.
A hiss is pulled through your clenched teeth as cold steel causes tender skin to break, crimson to drip down, a moan that was a mix between pleasure and pain slips out, matched soon after by a sound from the monster below you, a thing not quite a moan, not quite a laugh. He was rutting up into you, pace quickening, filth falling from burnt lips, phrases caught between curses, a mixture of praise and degradation and promises of further hurt and ecstasy. It rolled off his tongue as easily as a human being, the thing he once was and would never be again, breathes. He tells you how he always knew you were like this, a disgusting little whore, how you clearly loved this, wanted it, had been begging for it inside for God knows how long. He admonished you earlier for how quickly you came when you pushed him down and first began riding him, after initially him in, a small pause before taking him, using him, at a gallop.
You were sick of this, of him, how he made you feel, the mixture of emotions was pushed to it’s boiling point due to him not being able to shut the fuck up, he just kept blabbing on and the feeling it caused, heat and more simmering beneath your skin frustrates you further.
Noticing it, the hitch in his breath, the uneven pace, hands squeezing harder, a thick swallow, head tipping back and throat exposed above the collar of his sweater and you feel that last tell, the flex of him inside and it all comes bursting forth. Your fist rears back before you move forward, pulling him out and punching him at the same time, in the same movement. Hand connects, clocking him square in the jaw, a sickening crack, pain blooms in your knuckles from the force, before your other hand rips his glove away. Your own fingers dig into the wound he created and a searing and intense jolt of pain causes you to startle awake, sitting half up in your tangled bed sheets.
Your chest is heaving, your body still wet and a giggle bubbles out before it turns into a full on laughing fit, falling back into bed, you thought of Freddy in that moment as you cackled to yourself. Thinking of him, confused and in pain, on his back on that frankly shady mattress, holding his jaw and probably his own ruined orgasm painted up his slightly exposed stomach and his sweater, completely baffled as to what just happened and trying to get his bearings.
As you slowly caught your breath as the laughter died you thought about how you would so be dying for this but fuck, if it wasn’t worth it.

Undertale did exactly that - I'm pretty sure theyre made by the same creator, Toby Fox.
Undertale, among many, many other things, is specifically designed to challenge modern AAA game structure and break away from the norm of video games. Its not just that you can befriend your enemies and you get punished for fighting; each different monster has unique, endearing possibilities for friendship. You jiggle and dance with slimes, there a frost-bird that tells terrible jokes, one monster desperately wants compliments on their hat. Each one is utterly unique.
There are three unique paths. Pacifist means you dont kill anyone. Neutral is the standard "kill when you have to/im used to video games where you kill every monster you encounter". Then there's Genocide.
There is a unique route where players methodically and maliciously clear every region of every living soul.
All this to say - in an age where most games allow you to murder monsters, enemies, or people for rewards, Undertale (and assumedly Deltarune) treats such behavior with humanity and empathy and the correct amount of abject horror that such actions should warrant.
okok yeah that definitely aligns with what i know/remember of undertale, and i do know toby fox made both games
the weird thing for me is that i’m not really familiar with the norms undertale was subverting
all the characters being unique and possible to either fight OR befriend resulting in different consequences seems completely reasonable from my perspective, i never had a reason to expect anything else

Punchy what the absolute fuck is going on with ML right now???
I have scattered snippets as I stopped watching in s3, from my understanding of the ending of s5 and onwards:
Lila is now the new Butterfly villain, and is now a master of disguise and living multiple lives as various different people and I'm scratching my head how does this 14-15 yo even exist. Can we just confirm she's a senti or something? I feel like she's a joke of how many lies can they slap onto this character and it's gone off the rails.
Uh, apparently Tikki and Plagg are some Digimon-biblical angels, which is a choice for their Taoism roots. But maybe it's just me who's not crazy about it.
Gabriel was stupidly allowed to win and die and is now thought to be a hero and Adrien for some reason was never allowed to know his dad was a villain. This is baffling for me.
And we got a new ML Special coming up that's going to show us the "what if" the heroes were evil and HM is the good guy, and they're taking inspiration from the early 2000s emo/goth/punk style and it's a hilarious blast to the past. I seriously can't stop snickering any time I look at this designs. I feel like this Special could actually be funny bad.
And that is all the odd curve balls I know in wtf is going on with ML.

hi anon!!
so atm all i do to shift is just repeat my affs till i shift (takes a few mins) or i just imagine a scene that is connected to my dr, and affirm through it till i shift. i don't really do methods or anything special.
also i usually attempt to shift while i'm tired, even if it's an awake method. i find them to work 100% faster this way (my assumption but yk) like whenever i wanna shift, i wait till i'm tired, then i go ahead and repeat my affs till i shift, it happens almost instantly as well.

King, Queen, and Witch!
Heyo TC! Love what you're doing with the Dragon's Daughter.
I already answered King for Peasant. I am going to use this incredibly tenuous rationale to answer all three of these for Peasant and for the Seven Gods Legendarium. Because I can. Yeehonk, as the kids say.
QUEEN (Peasant) -- Peasant is one of the least fleshed out worlds I have, actually! At least, in this respect. The earliest planned event would likely be either the invention of Thaumaturgy or the founding of the Empire, but the two are so inextricably intertwined -- putting one before the other doesn't really make sense, considering that the overwhelming military advantage thaumaturgy grants is. Very difficult to overstate. Especially in a world without gunpowder.
The only viable military counter to a thaumaturge is another thaumaturge of equal or greater skill, after all. Or maybe fifty guys with bows.
One of those is ominous foreshadowing. Whee!
WITCH (Peasant) -- Two things, which happened around the same time. The first was ducal fantasy, a sort of subgenre in a lot of manga and manhwa, with sort of dukes-and-duchess trappings and a lot of magic, which I spliced to a magic school, because I felt like it. I wrote a scene just to prove I could, if I wanted to, and it ended up being the first duel between Noam and Emilia, which sharpened up their characters right off the bat. The story exploded out into what would become Peasant afterwards, because I am incapable of not ripping themes and symbols from anything that exists near me for more than two seconds...but that's the seed.
The second thing that followed was this snip. It came...a few minutes after I wrote that first duel, and that still lingers with me as so central to Peasant's identity, even if I don't end up getting to use it in the text. (Unfortunately, it is late summ--hang on. What am I talking about. I decide when everything is.)
(Never mind, I'm gonna slam that scene in. Hash Tag Yeet.)

LEGENDARIUM. #7gl. The big, old work, my first world, and the hardest to work with, but the most fleshed out by far. The only world, so far, that I've built for worldbuilding's sake, as opposed to part of a story.
KING (7GL) -- The Legendarium's my oldest project. It was my first real original world, my first big project, and it's influenced my whole life as I've grown up alongside it -- I've done most of my writing in the last three years, and the Legendarium is about three times as old as that, a constant slow-burn of research, refinement, exploration, and snips.
QUEEN (7GL) -- The histories I have go all the way back to the cosmogeny, to the making of the world. Technically, they also go back to the founding of the first Mordan Empire. But that's so far back that it's in the so-called Age of Formation, and that Empire's stood, more or less, for thousands of years.
But the earliest strictly historical event would be the assassination of the Philosopher-Queen of Danaan, which eventually lead to the homogenization of power in the kingdom of Danaan, which in turn lead to militarization and the Great War between Danaan and the Mordan Empire. This period was the Age of Powder. Something happened to conclude it, though -- most of the records of what exactly are lost. But it wasn't pretty, and now the gods are gone and the world's had about three hundred odd years to settle into the scars of whatever happened.
WITCH (7GL) -- The idea was simple. Li'l baby me wondered, hey, what if, like, physical forces were gods? Like, gravity. And matter. And stuff. So I mapped out seven gods corresponding to scientific concepts: spacetime, energy, physical laws, consciousness, possibility/chaos, matter, and absence and went from there. That was it. That was the base.
...we are so far past that.
