Kurumi helps out with serving the food! She's super strong, so she can carry several plates in one go. The pudding that Kurumi is carrying is a replacement for the one Tsuna dropped when he slipped. She does her job smoothly, they just strictly don't let her prepare any food in the kitchen.

Kana helps out with taking orders! She's very effective at keeping certain customers from having any ideas of self-entitlement (they're too scared). She may or may not be in an "assert your dominance" competition with some other members of the staff (e.g. Hibari). A fight may break out sooner or later.

👉👈👀💦 in recent years, the real world is seeing more and more digimon sightings and incidents. humanity begins to research this phenomenon in hope of controlling the creatures. this has led to the emergence and gathering of tamers, and ultimately, the discovery of digital world, where the digimon are believed to have come from. the current issue is exploring the digital world due to its erratic nature. on the other hand, the number of digimon cases has only increased, forcing governments to employ tamers as humanity's offense and defense team while researchers look for a way to enter the digital world. elise, a 22-year-old who has been navigating her life aimlessly, finds herself and her tsukaimon partner, pepper, tangled in the situation. later on, they realize no amount of refusal can ever prevent their involvement as the pieces eventually fall into place. it ends up looking like a blurb lol...i was trying so hard to explain in the way that describes the setting well but doesn't spoil too much, lest people will get confused if i decide to change some details in the future 😭😭 this character info of elise and pepper is relevant to the story 👍

he has, yeah! i just don't talk about it because it doesn't feel as relevant unless there's some actual story discussion... his evolution line isn't that much of a secret, so i'm willing share it no problem 😂

tsukaimon → devidramon → mephistomon → gulfmon tbh i haven't drawn much of devidramon and virtually nothing beyond because the rp groups i used him and elise in didn't last long. they're no longer bound by rp group settings though. i have since written my own story for them, which i work on now and then.

in our tumblr ask era are we 😂😂 alright, here goes: 1) independence to be specific, my ability to keep myself company and distract myself from loneliness and boredom very, very well. when i achieve financial independence too one day, i think it'll be perfect lol 2) honesty i know when and how to sugarcoat, and i could say i'm not bad at lying. but here's the thing: i'm aware of the inconveniences that come with those, so i do try to be honest most of the time. unfortunately there's no real in-between when it comes to my truth and false, so sometimes people think i'm mean because i tend to serve it hard and cold. it keeps the fakes and BS away though, so it works for me. 3) ethics ngl, to this day i'm still a bit bitter with my upbringing. but i admit it has formed a lot of what i hold as my morals and ethics today. i have decent understanding of what's considerate and not, what's necessary and not, etc. combined with my no-BS personality, people who don't match my vibes tend to shy away if i don't take real steps back away from them first. i also don't cause and/or get into dramas as much as others around me haha 🗿 4) luck with friends i don't usually talk about this, but i am super thankful for the people i have had the opportunity to know and befriend in life. i'm more a quality than quantity type of person, so my luck does not necessarily mean i have a lot of friends, but rather having the privilege to find and be found by the "right" people, who make me learn to be a better person. or you know, simply be wonderful companions where we can share our thoughts without worry :') 5) art style not saying it in the way that "my art style is the best!!", because i do sometimes wish it was better, more complex, and more detailed like typical big artists lol. still, i like it because it's comfortable - it's me. if it changes in the future, guess it's safe to say i have undergone another character development 😂

adfslsjdf thank you for sending this, ein! here are the 5 things that currently spark joy for me the most: 1) my otps: haikaveh (genshin impact) and ratiorine (honkai star rail) when i'm tired or bored i automatically go and look at their fanart... if i'm in the mood to read, i go for threadfics or ao3 fics to heal haha 2) sleeping (?) maybe it's a defense mechanism but whenever i feel like crap, i try to get some sleep. it ranges from 10-minute, timed power nap to accidental 2-hour nap that turns my world upside down when i'm awake. but i like sleeping, it makes me forget my problems even if just for a moment o(-( 3) matcha i like tea in general. matcha (latte) though is a drink i'd get to treat myself once in a while. the bitter, the better - i don't like when my drink is overly sweet;; 4) video game music i listen to this way more than typical pop songs to the point it gets awkward when (normie) friends and acquaintances ask me about favorite songs... i listen to vgm a lot when i draw and unknowingly exert more energy during the process by singing along even when it's just instrumental music. currently crazy about hsr, genshin, and nier osts i just shuffle between these playlists... 5) romance (the genre, the concept of, in fiction - typically when characters i like are involved) self-explanatory i hope? i'm weak to even the dumbest and cheesiest tropes. y'all please brace yourselves if i ever come up with anything romance related one day ok, i might be insufferable to some. the reason i emphasized "in fiction" is because i'm basically a moyai statue irl when faced with anything remotely romantic. maybe i'll change someday; maybe i won't. for now i only like romance as delulu because trululu romance feels more like something you'd get your hopes up for then get disappointed with.

august 1st, 2021 compilation of my now-two-year-old doodles and initial thoughts of ukkomon (unnamed digimon at the time) upon the announcement of digimon adventure 02: the beginning movie

to the next stage of our adventure! digimon survive week 2024 day 7: post-game / future personal thoughts under the cut - less about the artwork and more about shuuji and lopmon themselves. a long rambling containing major spoilers and heavy topics. will cause whiplash. proceed with caution.

other than the fact this may be boring and long-winded, cw and tw: there will be mentions of self-harm and suicide. if these topics make you uncomfortable, please step back. if you're sure, then alright. i'm aware this is a weird place to ramble about shuuji and lopmon considering the notorious highlight of their story would match the themes of day 5 (villains) and day 6 (dark & loss) better. unfortunately (ironically?) i never planned to feature them for those days, so... pretty sure i'm not the only one feeling this, but when i discovered that a good part of the fandom seems to loathe shuuji with utmost passion, even after they claimed to have completed the game, i was confused. the way his death happened and (understanding) the cause made me uncomfortable for a while, but never drove me to the point of hate... once i recovered from the initial shock, what i felt towards him was more pity, then respect (on truthful route). i feel shuuji should have been one of the most appreciated characters in survive. yet it was the opposite that happened. (between you and me though, knowing there was this discourse with the fact digimon survive is a visual novel, i'm not that surprised it turned out this way...) from my point of view, lopmon evolving into wendimon then killing shuuji symbolizes suicide, the act of taking one's own life. it was the climax of shuuji's mental breakdown, leading him to basically self-destruct, causing damage to everyone around him and ultimately himself. lopmon evolved, just like he hoped. but failed to do it like other kemonogami partners (maintaining control of themselves and fending off enemies). the next and final outcome was death, through his own partner actually eating him alive too. it reminds me how when someone thought they have prepared well for something important yet it failed spectacularly, the devastation and frustration would eat them in the same way from inside. and they probably would for one second think, "i'm better off dead". the more i pondered about it, the more it hit home, so of course, the last thing i could do is hate him, when his struggles sound similar to my own - having to rely on consistent achievements to prove your value, to feel you are worth living and not a waste of resources. the part where shuuji went all abusive on lopmon felt like the equivalent of pushing yourself to the extreme to reach your goal, to the point of neglecting your own needs. it's like a student so absorbed in their study, sacrificing food and sleep, until their body eventually snaps and shuts down for good (...this in fact happened to one of the students at my previous workplace. she was in her last year of high school. life was just about to truly start for her when her classmate informed us of her sudden death). even in truthful route where shuuji and lopmon survive that point, things aren't immediately nice and easy for him. you can see that he still has self-doubts, and what i think is impostor's syndrome. he could be making a great contribution to the team and still put himself down for having done "nothing". i have found it interesting that artists and writers tend to be especially fond of shuuji. so perhaps it's not just the matter of one's upbringing - whether you were raised in a harsh, competitive environment and/or with family with (unreasonably) high standards so you can relate more easily to him - but also whether one can see just what every struggle shuuji and lopmon went through symbolizes shuuji's mental state. out of all survive characters, i think shuuji and lopmon pulled off this thing called "surviving" the hardest, no joke. which is why i almost always gravitate to drawing them happy because that's what they deserve :') after all this, what i also would like to say is, it's okay if a character makes you uncomfortable. it's okay if you hate a character. but never, ever bring down the character to people who like them or even consider them their favorite or comfort character. if you must, do it in your own space and only with like-minded people.
