BRF Reading, 2/2/2024

As written, this is merely a speculation and therefore must be taken with a grain of salt. This speculation is not true until proven otherwise.

My question is, does the BRF want Harry back?

Cards drawn: Six of Wands, Eight of Pentacles, Four of Swords, The Sun, The Star Underlying energies: Temperance, Seven of Swords

Summary: BRF is planning something. I am not sure if they will take Harry back or not, but there are plans about this matter that will unfold publicly.

First card: Six of Wands. This is the card of celebrating your accomplishment and recognition, of being praised, of your pride and being rewarded as seen in the imagery of this card: a young man holding a wand with a crown of laurel sitting atop of the wand, the traditional symbol of victory. This is also the card of arrogance, overconfidence, or just plain obnoxiousness.

This is Harry's energy. Regardless of whether the family actually wants him back, Harry wants to be back in. In addition, he wants to be recognised and being rewarded, just like the man in this card:

The plain obnoxiousness in this card shines through. Just like the man, prideful and looks like he's boasting, Harry is possibly thinking and boasting that the family will take him back, no matter what he had done and how much he had hurt them.

Second card: Eight of Pentacles. Eight of Pentacles is the card of skill, accomplishments, and hard work. This card is traditionally depicted as a man hard at work making coins of gold, but this is not the meaning that comes through this card. Instead, this comes across as a reversed energy: someone's time and energy are wasted.

I think this is the BRF. They may have realised that trying to bring Harry back is fruitless, that all of their efforts and PR rapports that they have built up over the years for him have all gone to waste.

Third card: Four of Swords. Fours are generally the card of rest and waiting, and this card specifically is about the kind of rest you need after a time of challenge. This card is saying that this is the time to stay silent and inactive. In my deck, this card is depicted as a lion with a crown on its head, sleeping -- lion is the symbol of England, depicted specifically in the coat of arms of England, and the crown on its head symbolises the ruling lion -- in other words, the BRF.

This card seems to tell me that the BRF is planning something. I am not sure what that is, though if we refer back to the question I posed to my cards, it seemed that the BRF is planning something about taking Harry back. That is not to say that they will take Harry back, just that they are planning to do something about him.

Fourth card: The Sun. This is the first major arcana card in this reading. This card is generally considered to be one of the most positive cards of the deck, and in my deck this card corresponds to the sign Leo. There are multiple meanings coming through this card:

The first is that this card represents the son (a homophone to sun), and in this question, this refers to Harry. This implies to me that the BRF wants to do something about Harry (whether it's bringing him back into the family or something else), and because this is a major arcana card, we may see this unfold publicly. Whatever the BRF has planned, this will be done publicly for all the world to see.

Second is that this card represents Meghan, a Leo. I interpret this as whatever the BRF plans to do with Harry, they will have to contend with what to do with Meghan as well because they now cannot deal with one without dealing with the other. This card reminds me of rumours that the BRF will take Harry back without Meghan, that if they divorce Harry will be taken back while Meghan will be kicked out, and rumours of similar tones. Again, because this is a major arcana card, the plan and how it's executed may be for the world to see.

Fifth card: The Star. This is the card of hope, of rebuilding after the disastrous Tower, and astrologically, this card is ruled by the sign Aquarius. Generally, she is a very gentle card saying that the time to forgive and embracing new opportunities is here. Traditionally, she is depicted as a woman with one half of her body in the water and the other half on the dry land, representing both intuition and common sense. In this reading, this card comes across as two things:

First, is that the BRF as an institution doesn't seem to be willing to take Harry back because they are still reminded of the hurts and the carnage he had done. As they say, time heals all wounds, but the scars remain. The scars cannot be undone, unlike the flowing water of the Star that flows beyond and washes away all the destruction of the Tower.

The second, however, is that glimmering hope that the BRF can take its son back. In the end, even the royal family is a family. It may hurt them to see the son they care for chose the wrong path forward and now they stood against each other, but a son is still a son. They may be holding onto that hope that they can take Harry back and make him leave Meghan, holding onto those rumours that Harry and Meghan are heading towards a divorce.

Again, I am not implying that the BRF will take Harry back. This card comes across as two conflicting feelings which I am familiar and sympathise with: the feeling of being so hurt by someone you love, but you still love them, but you also are wary of letting them back into your life.

Underlying energy 1: Temperance. This is the card of moderation and balancing things, of communication, and of healing. This card indicates that right now, the BRF is standing at a crossroad and there are only two options they can take: either they take Harry back or not at all. The energy in this card is that more of waiting and less of being balanced, as if it's waiting for all the things to be balanced -- perhaps the BRF is waiting for something before they can proceed with their plans about Harry? I am not sure, but the energy is there: waiting for things to settle so that everything is balanced and just after that, they may take the decision.

Underlying energy 2: Seven of Swords. This is the card of duplicity and engaging in unsavoury activities, of betrayal, but also of diplomacy. This is also the card of dishonesty, and coming after the Temperance this makes me think: did the BRF know something Harry (or Meghan, or both of them) did that is duplicitous and dishonest, and they're waiting for it to be revealed before deciding whether they will take Harry back? Do they know something we don't?

Conclusion: The cards do not answer my question. It does, however, say that the BRF is planning or already has a plan in place regarding this matter and will execute it when the time is right.

Explain the basic: the Elements

Guess who's back—me, BRUH!

Desclaimer: Everything I will talk about is information that I got from books and sites online and even videos on YouTube. In my years of practice, I learned as much as I could out of curiosity and what works best for me. I suggest you do the same by learning as much as you can on your own (I will be here making posts teaching this kind of stuff) from multiple sources.

In witchcraft, the elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit are often seen as fundamental forces that can be harnessed for magical and spiritual purposes.

These elements are symbolic and represent different aspects of nature, energy, and consciousness. Here's a brief explanation of each element in the context of witchcraft:

Earth:

Symbolism: Represented by the physical element of earth, rocks, soil, and symbols like pentacles or greenery. Qualities: Associated with grounding, stability, fertility, abundance, and the material realm. Magical Uses: Earth is often invoked for spells related to prosperity, growth, physical health, and stability. It is also connected to the physical body and practical matters.

Air:

Symbolism: Represented by the element of air, wind, feathers, and symbols like incense or a wand. Qualities: Associated with communication, intellect, inspiration, thought, and the realm of the mind. Magical Uses: Air is often invoked for spells related to communication, intellect, clarity of thought, and inspiration. It is also associated with the power of the spoken word and intention.

Fire:

Symbolism: Represented by flames, candles, the sun, and symbols like a cauldron or a staff. Qualities: Associated with transformation, passion, energy, willpower, and the element of action. Magical Uses: Spirit is often invoked for rituals that involve connecting with the divine, meditation, and spiritual growth. It is the element that transcends the physical and ties everything together.

In rituals and spellwork, practitioners often call upon these elements, either individually or in combination, to create a balanced and harmonious energy.

The elements are thought to correspond to different aspects of the human experience and the natural world, allowing witches to work with these energies to achieve their magical and spiritual goals.

Tips and tricks:

Body: If we want to use an element but don't have an object that can represent that element, we can use our body. (ex: I don't have anything to represent the earth; let me hit my feet to the ground.). (I need to represent fire; let me use my passion.)

To connect to an element: let's experience it, Go out and feel the forest and the rain; watch the fire burning; and let the fire warm you.

Combine the elements: with the incense, you have fire and air together; growing a plant, you have water and earth collaborating; and so on.

Memories: Everywhere you go, take a stone, a sea shell, a feather, or buy a lighter. Let the elements be good memories.

Deity: Some deities (I will deepen this conversation in the final post to explain the basics) are connected to the elements; we can use them to honor them.

Songs: we can use songs and music to feel connected to the elements; for example, I associate "Je te laisserai des mots" with the elements of the earth.

Spirit-

Because spirit is not tangible, its correspondences differ from those of the physical components. Planets, tools, and other objects may be associated with it by various systems, although these associations are significantly less standardised than those of the other four elements. The element of spirit has various names. The most popular are spirit, ether or aether, and quintessence, which is Latin for "fifth element."

There is no universal symbol for spirit, however circles are prevalent. Eight-spoked wheels and spirals are also used to symbolise spirit. Spirit connects the physical and spiritual realms. In cosmological conceptions, the spirit is the intermediary substance between the physical and heavenly realms. Within the microcosm, the spirit serves as the link between the body and the soul.

Invoke your god or goddess. This can be accomplished by looking into their correspondences and making sacrifices or burning suitable incense, for example. If you discover a chant you enjoy, you may utilise it as well, or focus on this god, welcoming the message they wish to convey to you.

Practice divination! This is one of the most effective techniques to connect with the spiritual dimension. It allows you to bypass your conscious mind, which sometimes prevents us from receiving subconscious instructions. Whether you use tarot, a pendulum, or runes, calling on spirit or a specific god can help you connect with this element while performing divination.

Keep a dream notebook. We frequently receive messages in our sleep that we quickly forget unless we write them down. When we sleep, our conscious mind is not functioning, leaving us more receptive to receiving messages from Spirit. To interpret the dreams, become familiar with common symbolism and interpret them instinctively.

Draw, paint, or colour a mandala. This is a style of meditation derived from the Buddhist and Hindu practices of Tantra. Mandalas became popular in the New Age movement after Carl Jung presented them as a tool to examine the subconscious, and they can now be found almost anywhere, including adult colouring books.

Full Moon in Scorpio,April 23rd 2024

On Tuesday April 23rd, 7:49 p.m. Eastern standard Time, we are going to be experiencing a full moon in Scorpio.

This full moon is thematically aligned with motifs surrounding healing, rebirth and second chances.

With both the Moon in Scorpio and on the Ascendant, themes of rebirth, death and horror are highlighted prominently this full moon. We are going to be faced with crises surrounding our sense of security, home place and well-being. With a Mars ruled sign at the helm we can expect explosivity, volatility and violence to take center stage during and around this full moon. Mars for this full moon is currently in the fifth house conjunct Neptune and Saturn. Mars and Saturn are enemies, this energy creates a hyper focused, stressed, anxious and drained quality. There's a lot of pressure for success, and karmic influences on how we're spending our energy. This indicates major power plays and disruptions surrounding places of hegemonic power, governmental control and business. Throwing in Neptune, there is exacerbated delusions, violent fantasies, naval warfare and even abuse of substances leading to injury during this full moon.

Risk-taking behavior is not advisable during this full moon, nor is gambling as it can lead to an unnecessary expenditure of precious resources.

There is an incredibly heady, sensual, provocative and enticing energy to this full moon that made tempt you to physical action of a libidinous variety. archiving my thesis on the significance of the pentacle in cotl that I sent at approximately 1:04am to my bestie because I have officially lost it

Pentacle symbolism is earth, water, air, fire and spirit, with spirit at the top as a "mind over matter" sort of meaning

leshy as the bishop of chaos (and unity) is the element of earth and not just bc his realm is darkwood. Earth is responsible for creation and destruction, wherein the life it creates operates in unity with one another to survive. Destructive phases bring about chaos and uncertainty. But the big link between all of this is that it takes little.to no provocation for these phases to change. Extinctions, evolutions, all these things happen seemingly randomly as they occur. Yes there are patterns to study after the fact but in the moment, it's chaotic. Also side point but darkwood looks as grotesque and metal as it does because leshy can't see. How would he know there's sacrifices if he can't see it? Smell baby. He's gotta rely on his other senses and stake poles with entrails on them feel like pretty good signals.

kallamar as bishop of pestilence (and health) is the element of water, ofc, but because water is the element that heals or ails. Clean water heals and nurtures life while putrid water infects and kills. It cleans and contaminates. Also, kallamar's vanity isn't misplaced either because water is the most beautiful element. Crystal clear waters, calming sounds of waves, this is the pinnacle of nature's beauty.

heket as bishop of famine (and feast) is air and man I feel some kind way about this. Through wind the seeds of next harvest are given and when the wind is barren so is the land. I think it's also important to point out that mushrooms are one of the biggest examples of plant life that spreads through spores in the wind, and anura is covered in them.

that leaves shamura as the element of fire as bishop of war (and peace). Fire is of course one of the most destructive elements, so that makes an easy link with war. But it was also one of man's first inventions, where we continue to sleep, eat, learn, sing, dance at its side. Hearthfire has long been a symbol of home, where warriors lay their head to rest peacefully. And as the oldest bishop, the idea of home and family isn't too foreign of a concept to link to shamura. Of course, fire is also absolute in its destruction. It burns through everything and leaves nothing in the same way war does.

The four elements are all physical, which is why the fifth is entirely intangible. Spirit exists within and outside the physical realm, which narinder certainly fucking does. No matter how much happens to the lamb's physical body, he can bring them back because their spirit isn't dead.

The significance of the pentacle being upsidedown is exactly in reference to the bishops imprisoning narinder below, oppressing the spirit in favor of the elements. The order of the world is upturned, backwards, and you as the lamb are crusading to correct the flow and order of the world.

So... Those Secret Life tarot predictions I've been doing huh? Well it's Grian's turn! Reminder that you don't really need to know anything about Tarot Cards. If you're curious though it's just a simple 5 card spread I made specifically for this. Also I did this on November 2nd of 2023 (it's a Thursday) cuz I'll probably decide to schedule this as to not spam the tags lol.

First Card - Start

So this card was rough because while I was placing it I turned it without thinking about it (which I like never do). I had to debate whether to interpret it upright (how it would've been had I not turned it) or reversed (how it was when flipped it over). As I said in the very first post, I'm doing these as practice so this is also just a 'well wtf do I do in this situation' sort of milestone. In the end I've decided to interpret it as upright with a kind of side note of reversal... if that makes sense... I'm gonna combine the meanings a little bit!

I drew the Ace of Wands... uh... funky style. (Sure that makes sense right? /silly) This card is describing Grian's start of Secret Life as involving a lot of hard work. There could be some minor setbacks but he'll likely work through them fine enough. He'll probably have a great time, honestly, if this card has any truth to it.

Second Card - Individual

This card is describing how Grian does in the game basically. For it I drew the reversed 8 of Swords. He survives through the more difficult first part of starting in a new life series world. So far he's doing very well too so this is supported! If you've seen his episodes you'll know he's not exactly down a whole lot of hearts yet. This card also talks about being open to change and new opportunities. What new opportunities? I'm so glad you asked. To the next card!

Third Card - Social

This card is meant to describe how Secret Life goes for Grian on the social end of this series. I drew the Death card which made me laugh. The death card is about change, rebirth, and transitioning from one phase to another. My brain immediately went to how everyone and their grandma were drawing comparisons between his first ep with Scar on the camel and third life. This makes me think he's either not going to team up with anyone or if he does it'll be someone he hasn't yet and well... So far it's looking like the former! It makes that lil' comparison extra fun cuz this is saying he'll be putting the past expirences behind for something new.

Fourth Card - Big Impact

I drew the reversed Page of Pentacles which is wild cuz I drew that for Joel too but as his season end. Here I drew it for Grian's 4th card which is describing what makes the greatest impact for him this season. This card talks about a lack of progress and getting lost in the details. He might get too caught up in something and forget about his task.

Fifth Card - End

I drew the 3 of Pentacles for how Grian'll end Secret Life. This card talks about collaboration and learning. He's probably very secure in his beliefs... except that those beliefs might be a strict adherence to the rules which could ultimately cause him more problems than necessary. It also means he could take the advice and criticisms of his fellow players pretty well.

So do I think this reading is predicting Grian to win? Not in the slightest. 3 of pentacles really feeling like a participation trophy here lol. Like 'yay you learned things and got to make content with all these lovely people!' Not exactly something screaming he's gonna win. If I had to take a gander as to how it goes down, I'd reckon he gets distracted and fails a hard task or fails his normal tasks multiple times (based on the 4th card). That would then somehow push him to be more strict with rule following (based on the 5th card). If that is what happens, the fail would probably happen either soon and then affect the majority of his season or later when he's low. Maybe it's what turns him red.

Elements in Witchcraft

There are four concrete elements in modern witchcraft. Earth, air, fire, and water. It is heavily debated if there is a fifth element, spirit. Because of this, I will not include spirit. In this post, I will talk about each element’s correspondences, tools, virtues, astrological signs, and much more.

Earth

Earth is the first element I will write about. This element keeps you grounded and energized. In order to connect with Earth, it is advised to spend more time in nature, garden, keep plants in your home, and practice grounding and meditation.

Celeste from Bridgewater 🫶

I had been wanting to draw her for a while now, so here you go!! I have been on that fanart since mid September so I’m very glad to be done with it!!

The character design comes from me, I didn’t have really major inspo for the outfit unlike for the Legend Tripper so I had a few vague inspo pics and that’s it, I wanted to have the witchy esoteric lady vibe I felt she had listening to the podcast, hence the pile of necklaces/trinkets with the pentacle of protection, also for the belt the main idea was to make the metal parts the phases of the moon as they’re important when it comes to esoteric beliefs, and for the skirt I tried to redo the Aquila constellation (which I had found the meaning “guidance, psychic work, astral travel”) and also Ursa Major (“healing, protection, survival”) I kept it between random stars and the way the fabric is folded doesn’t really help to actually recognise them ksksks

And thank you so much @thelaurenshippen my uni week did go well!! 🫶 (I’m on my fifth week of my third year of English studies the French joy to also have to study linguistics, history and stuff when you want to study English literature ksksks) I hope your week is going well as well 🫶‼️ and once again thank you SO MUCH for your support it truly means the world to me and I always feel so honoured 😭💜

i did this reading back in early january and had plans to post it but never got around to it.

this reading was on snc's love lives. i know, apparently it's the only topic i can talk about lol

i'm kidding… but hey, i'm just here to give the ppl what they want.

this particular post is colby's love life. if you want to read sam's, it's here.

now this is not based on their relationship with the girls. this is just a general six month reading on what their love lives are going to look like. if that includes the girls or not, that's not up for me or the cards to decide.

disclaimer: i'm not a professional tarot reader. i'm doing this for fun and it's not to be taken as literal or serious. if you don't like the reading i give, understandable. but i'm just telling you what cards i got and what they mean. this isn't to be taken as fact, this is all for funsies so enjoy it… or don't, ig lol

colby's reading was a bit complicated. but when has anything ever came easy with him lol

first card: knight of cups. just like sam. again, it's about having love and romance in your life, but reminding you to be realistic about your love life and what you currently have, and not falling in love with the idea of love.

second card: five of cups. this is usually the sign that you are grieving a break up, or there being tension in your current relationship. and emotional loss of some sort has happened, but this card can also signal to look on the positive and find things to look forward to.

third card: ten of cups. this card is a sign for commitment or taking the next step in a relationship. it could also just mean that long term stability or a long lasting relationship is headed your way soon.

fourth card: four of wands. this card is great for a love reading. it shows weddings, engagements, or just generally a celebration of love within a group of ppl happening. a public show of love, so to speak.

fifth card: nine of swords. sam also got this card. this card is showing there being some anxiety and fears showing up. it usually shows a lack of trust in your partner, along with remorse or guilt or just general insecurity. this can also show that past relationships are effecting you in the present, thus causing you to feel regret or remorse.

sixth card: queen of swords. this is an interesting sign. this can be someone coming into colby's life - a woman who's a bit of a loner and likes her independence outside of her relationship. or it could also be a call to be picky about your lovers, to look for both independence and self-sufficiency alongside your relationship.

i then asked for a explanation card, or just an overall vibe for this time, for colby.

final card: three of swords. this usually means a breakup, or just general sadness in the form of a separation. it could also be a sign of a third person coming into play and muddying up your relationship.

i'll be honest, like i mentioned above, i was a bit confused as to what some of these cards meant for colby. so i asked for even more cards. two more to be exact.

extra card #1: two of cups. this is the beginning of a relationship, building each other up. a mutually beneficial relationship where communication is good.

extra card #2: queen of pentacles reverse. this is the sign of a relationship for all the wrong reasons. a selfish partner who can be shallow and jealous. however, i would also like to directly quote the website i use to help me better understand these cards - "If you’re single ... can signal that you may need to take some time on developing your own confidence and healing any insecurities you have before entering a relationship with another person. Avoid getting into relationships for the wrong reasons; whether it’s for status, money or simply because you don’t want to be alone."

now… what the hell does all of this mean? like i said, this reading is messy. his love life is anything but simple lol

i'm gonna interpret the cards the way i think, so if they don't exactly line up with the definition/description i gave, that's why.

i think whatever colby has currently happening in his love life is gonna end. and i think this might be the year he starts to FINALLY unpack some of the trauma and heartache he went thru all those years ago when he had his last real relationship. hence the overall vibe being the three of swords aka heartache. i think he's starting to realize that this continuous pattern he's been on of just having hook ups or relationships that don't go anywhere bc he won't open up isn't making him happy in the long run. sure, he's safe and not getting his heart broken, but he's not happy. it's not what he really wants. he wants to heal and move on and love again. and i think this year will be the year he does that. it's just gonna take a lot of time.

and that doesn't mean he won't fall back into old habits. i think he will, but that's when he'll pull back and need time to be by himself and not in a relationship. he'll still have his fun, i suspect, but it won't be anything serious. the four of wands card, to me, reads as him being celebrated by fans for something too, and that might help him heal some as well. or just in general he's gonna be feeling a lot of love during that time period.

and i think the extra cards are a warning to him: one, don't fall for someone that benefits off of you (or that you know is with you for that soul reason) and two, don't just get into a relationship bc you're lonely. especially as you're going thru this time period in your life of trying to heal. having someone that's using you is not gonna help, even if you "don't care" that they are using you bc you're using them too.

do i think him and his current boo thang are gonna be together by june/july? no. i'd be surprised, based on these cards, if they even make it to march. however, that's not what i'm wishing. i'd love for them to stay together, solely bc it pisses off so many fans lol

and like i said in sam's reading: DON'T TAKE MY WORD AS LAW. things changes, nothing is permanent. these cards are merely a suggestion of what's to come, not what is currently happening. so, please don't take this as proof of things going bad for him and m. let the man have his fun, and just read this as entertainment. okie dokie? cool.
