learning that gowan is probably brokering a deal with raedak and not alexandrite makes some interesting parallels to calder and ultrus. raedak and ultrus are both followers of gruumsh, and the brothers are both making deals with them to protect what they hold dear.
and calder, who has been through this and learned the cost, is now stepping in to try to stop gowan before it’s too late.

—helloooo friends! now that teacher!buck is finished (posting soon!) i’ve gone back to an old wip started a new wip! i’ve been wanting to write some dark fic for awhile and between watching all the scream movies and talking to my beloved @honestlydarkprincess about our dark fantasies, well…i had to get this off my chest 😈 let’s unofficially call this one: murder!boyfriends. enjoy 😌
"Should we be worried there's a new serial killer on the loose?"
The news anchor looked back at the picture posted of the supposed masked killer, horror filling their face.
Buck scoffed. "Amateur."
"Tell me about it."
Buck turned toward the other voice, diverting his attention from the television for the first time in hours. He'd been hauled up on the barstool after taking care of his last victim, their dried blood still covering the blade in his pocket.
The man was about his height and age, fluffy brow hair atop his head. His eyes were a chestnut brown, specks of green dancing in them under the dull lights above. Buck could take him, no problem.
"Think you could do better?" Buck challenged, hoping to catch the man off guard.
The guy shrugged casually as he downed the rest of his beer, sliding the empty bottle across the bar top in quick succession, Buck barely able to catch the movement before the man was stopping it, just inches from Buck's own fingers.
"I don't think. I know."
Well, Buck always did like a challenge. Sure, the whole point was to kill his prey—it was the stalking part that got Buck going.
Buck leaned back on his stool, spreading his legs apart as he pushed his glass aside.
“How would you do it then?”
Most people could act the part, but they couldn’t ever keep up. Not with Buck at least.
The guy looked Buck over, something warm yet terrifying about the glimmer in his eyes. Buck hated to admit how his breath hitched as the guy leaned in close, his hand coming to rest over Buck’s thigh.
Warm breath fanned over his ear, Buck’s fingers twitching to whip his knife out. If he really wanted to, he could claim the guy right then and there; he’d be so quiet about it, no one would even know the difference.
“If I told you, it’d ruin my plans to kill you.”

I want Wille to reclaim his red shirt. This was his Simon chasing shirt. This shirt was fantastic, and he always seemed to wear it when actively pursuing Simon. And then it is also the shirt he is wearing when he learns that Erik died. (As always, sorry for the quality of the pictures).
The first time we see him wearing it. He is on his way to talk to Simon in class after the initiation party.
This is the second time we see it, when they are studying, and Simon says he isn't coming to practice. This is the night he goes to Bjärstad.
Then again, he is wearing it here, while thinking about Simon and deciding if he wants to pursue something.
And finally, we see him wearing it when he asks Simon if he can come to Bjärstad with him for parents weekend.
And then Erik dies, and he is wearing this shirt. This is the last time we see him wearing this shirt. We see it one final time (as a red flag) in his room. Please check out this post for an incredible analysis of the color red throughout YR.
Anyways, I just love this shirt on him, and I want him to wear it again.
