I don't do a ton of content for fnaf, but my friend got me into these two crazy boys and I've decided that I might as well do actual art beyond sketches of 'em. Throw my two cents into the Fandom, at least :3

obligatory disclaimer that I am aromantic and everything I say regarding romantic ships I view through that lens, but that being said:

I would personally need them to be built up a little more in canon before they got together. Right now they don’t interact very often and when they do it’s when there are other people and for something serious like a mission.I view relationships as more private, so I’d want them to have those personal moments, those one on one interactions that build connection.

But I think they have great chemistry as friends, which could lead to a great romantic pairing. They both have shouldered a lot of responsibility, so that’s something that could spark a deeper connection.

Tam had the responsibility of looking out for Linh and protecting them from their parents (not that Linh couldn’t do the same, he just took on a lot of that), and now he’s had a lot of that burden lifted since coming back to the lost cities. He has a roof over his head and knows where his next meal is coming from; he has a support system now, even if he doesn’t want it. Sophie on the other hand, is getting raised with more than ever, more and more responsibilities, so I could see Tam helping her through that journey of relying on others, maybe even specifically relying on him.

Tam has a dry sense of humor that not many appreciate, but Sophie can with her more human upbringing and less pressure to be light and airy and lighthearted like the elves (if that makes sense). Sophie also has a very different perspective and anger at the system that Tam can appreciate. She came to this world and immediately saw what was wrong with it (compared to some of her other friends who were enlightened to the situation after they’d met her), and Tam has been personally wronged by the system so I could see a connection there too.

Overall, I absolutely love their dynamic and think romantic sotam would be a really cute ship! Slightly unrelated but in the past I’ve considered finding one of those prompt lists for quick drabbles for people to submit requests (like the ones sil frequently does), and thinking about sotam kinda makes me want to do it even more now.

i love chrom!inigo and his dynamic with his dad but unfortunately i cant express my feelings in any other way than shitposting

do you ever see a stupid x stupid pairing work so well like, god! it’s so entertaining! and you can’t help feeling overly fond of them like watching a dog whining through an already open gate, not realizing they just have to walk two steps to the left to get out

Yell at me if you wish, but it is interesting to me how Hunter's two biggest ships in the fandom involved a skinny white boy and a skinny white girl and the second it looked like he had feelings for the fat Asian girl all those shippers suddenly started saying shit like "oh Hunter's too traumatized for a relationship" or "the age gap is problematic" just say you're racist and fatphobic and go 🙄

Me: Romantic and platonic relationships are separate and equally important to a person, and romance is not a "step up" from friendship and platonic friendships can be just as strong or stronger than romantic relationships

Also me: if your romantic partner isnt your best friend , then wtf are you doing????

i think about them the most out of all of the sibling relationships...there's something i like about theirs in particular that i think is fun to analyze and wonder about that i don't find in the other relationships amongst the siblings! i'd like to think that in the golden land, all of the siblings have built up better relationships with each other, but them two in particular have been able to really catch up and grow closer to each other. rudolf spends a lot of time making it up to her for all the stuff he did to her when he was younger...with a little bit of beato's help of course though haha but yea!!! i really like these two a lot, i'm hoping to be able to write about them more than i have already with the umi reread i've currently been doing!!!!
