ok has anyone wondered how false and ren got the invite to join mcc. like ik jevin was in mcc1 but the hermit arc truly began in mcc4. and you know how false and ren's whole thing was that they would join together and put down each other's names until mcc17. did scott send invites to both of them. did he send to invites to a bunch of hermits and they had like a discussion on whether to join this mine craft event. were those two in dms like "i'll join if you join" "i'll join if YOU join". did scott send them an email like "hey hermits i've got two slots free choose whoever you like" and false and ren volunteered for tribute. funniest scenario is if scott only sent one of them an email and they were like "i'm only joining with my friend 🥺" and boom [this is not how the waitlist works].
one month later iskallman barges in, roasts all his teammates, gets 17th indiv, then promptly leaves (i miss iskall) (come back iskall) (iskall) (man)

“Well I tried to draw Yuu being limp while being hugged, (decided it would be my oc hugging since I’ve been wanting to draw her) but I’m not sure it really looks like that. I did try to look up a reference photo but putting “limp in someone’s hold” into google images didn’t really help. Got one image that was from a wiki help article titled “how to do a sleeper choke hold”.So I also just drew Yuu by himself in my chibi style, but it seems I can only submit one photo at a time?”
Oooooooh this is so cute !! thank you for drawing him !!! i love the way you drew yuu ! and your oc looks sweet :3c
and not google being unhelpful for references sobbing 😭 i swear you have to talk to it like its a dumb 5 year old to find decent ref images hahahah but it would be funny to see him get choke holded (choke held? 🤔)
but it’s trueeeee yuu never did say he’ll hug back , i think u conveyed the limp noodle energy well !

As of Friday, Israel was holding 7,677 Palestinians as what it deems security inmates, and another 2,873 Palestinians as administrative detainees — which means they can be held without charge, indefinitely. More than 1,500 of the arrests were made in November alone. These figures were sent to NPR by HaMoked, an Israeli nonprofit that offers legal aid to Palestinians living under occupation. It draws data directly from Israel's prison service.
The top Palestinian official overseeing prisoners' affairs, Qadoura Fares, who belongs to the Fatah party, Hamas' rival, says more than 3,000 Palestinians have been arrested in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in total since Oct. 7.
“The majority of them, 90% of them, are victims — not prisoners,” Fares told NPR in an interview last week at his office in Ramallah. He says most of them are minors accused of nonviolent offenses.
“These are people Israel has decided to arrest for endangering Israeli security — without clarifying why, how, with whom,” Fares says.
Fares accuses Israel of stepping up arrest raids during the latest Gaza war, in order to intimidate Palestinian communities and also have more detainees to negotiate with in prisoner exchanges.
Before this war, the United Nations and human rights groups had criticized the application of military law to Palestinian civilians. They've also criticized the uptick in Israeli arrest raids since the war began.
“The scale of detentions and arrests [of Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem] since the 7th of October, and those without charges or trial, is unprecedented,” Budour Hassan, an Amnesty International researcher based in the West Bank, tells NPR. “Palestinian detainees are telling us about humiliation and reprisals, even though they had nothing to do with the Oct. 7 attacks. It's a tactic of collective reprisal against all Palestinians.”
The prison figures show that out of a total of at least 10,550 Palestinians in Israeli custody, nearly 40% of them are held without charge. Many of them are accused of nonviolent offenses.

bro amatonormativity and relationship anarchy needs to be like common knowledge for shippers because I literally got like drawn and quartered for critiquing people for shipping a certain ship romantically when it was closer to a qpr. lemme tell u. i awoke some DEMONS. and the responses I got were allos but also OTHER aromantic/aroace people telling me I was 1: making a qpr romance-lite. or. 2: them just saying "oh but.. they had a kid! they said I love you." like HUH
MAN. fandom culture is kind of uniquely intolerable for all the focus on shipping and for all the ways that people invent to get people together they never seem to get around to anything aspec... genuinely you cannot win. if you're romance-repulsed you're inundated with it and if you're romance-favorable you get erased and if you're just trying to aro-fy it you get yelled at by everyone... i stand with you i hear your struggle 🫡
that's so wild though. i will personally say that i have not particularly liked the way that qprs have been framed/discussed in the popular conversations around relationships because of the way that it's usually presented as "you can have a romantic relationship OR a qpr!" which is what i think is people presenting them as romance-lite (the aspec alternative to a romantic relationship rather than something entirely different that exists outside of those frameworks). saying that a romantic relationship should be/is a qpr is. not that. i feel like a lot of this results from the fact that other people's understanding of our community's terms is so limited, so every conversation we have for allo benefit is baby's first relationship anarchy, and then well-meaning aro people jump into conversations with an understanding that's borne from a very basic set of concepts and definitions that isn't equipped to engage with more complex conversations. which isn't their fault really but. imagine a beautiful world where we all actually knew what a qpr was...
anyway i think we have to start eating people. and then we can have the real actual cool conversations about relationships and the different ways in which they appear without people popping up to add unhelpful and uninformed comments </3
