Canon Destiel Timeline Masterpost

I wrote this all in a fugue state while listening to Green Grow the Lilacs on repeat so forgive any mistakes. @gay-fae ask and ye shall receive

So much has happened in the long and storied history of his fandom so I've decided to try to document it. I've started by looking up every time that canon destiel, destiel event, misha collins, jackles, or some other search terms have spiked on Google and cross referenced them with tumblr or twitter posts from that day. I know a lot of this is Misha stuff, but he does tend to be the one to say things

November 5th, 2020: Season 15, Episode 18 "Despair" airs and Castiel declares his love to Dean. The presidential election, Georgia turning blue, the presumed retirement of Vladamir Putin, Dabi from My Hero Academia, Ouran Host Club season 2, Sherlock season 5, the president of Bolivia being attacked with dynamite, ongoing BLM protests, a twitter artist making racist art of Ted Bundy, Hetalia returning, a dead man being elected Representative for North Dakota, V for Vendetta, scientists discovering a "hell" planet that rains rocks and has lava oceans, and half of Europe being in lockdown all became tumblr news around the same time. Some of these are true, some not.

November 8th, 2020: Misha Collins, in a panel with Richard Speight, states that the confession scene was a "declaration of homosexual love", and that when Castiel goes to the Empty, it is an example of the "Kill your gays" trope.

November 19th, 2020: The finale airs and it is not well loved to say the least. The episode is short, Dean dies by falling on a nail to death fighting vampire clowns, and there are several characters left with dangling unresolved plot threads and arcs, including Castiel. The car is in heaven though. There is very little heard from the cast and crew, if anything.

November 22nd, 2020: Misha Collins, in a livestream, tells a fan that Castiel and Jack are remaking heaven together, Cas has his wings back, and they are rainbow-colored. He had, however, mentioned the rainbow wings before.

November 24th, 2020: The Spanish dub of the confession is released and a "rogue" translator has written "Y yo a ti" or "I love you too" as Dean's response. Destiel goes canon in Spanish. Tumblr stops working as a result.

November 25th, 2020: tumblr user @thebloggerbloggerfun claims Jensen Ackles said "I had a member of the film crew record the confession scene on my phone for me" #unsourced #releasethetapes

November 26th, 2020: Misha doesn't appreciate the rogue translator, but walks that opinion back later the same day

November 27th, 2020: A "leaked" Italian dub of the confession scene shows a mutual confession.

November 28th, 2020: President Obama follows a destiel account on Twitter

November 30th, 2020: The supposed "Italian dub" is revealed as a fake created by user @iotiamo using sound clips from other parts of the Italian dub on show.

December 1st, 2020: Twitter user @mothdean says "misha I know you have a stan acc and spy on us so can we have a hazel update please"

December 3rd, 2020: Misha tweets about Hazel snoring and this is taken as possible confirmation of Misha's secret stan account

December 11th, 2020: A script from Cas's perspective leaks. It says "We see Cass's POV of Dean again - his face drawn, drained of hope. But still beautiful. Still Dean Winchester."

December 16th, 2020: Newsweek runs an article about an article that Misha wrote about the Lewinsky affair while interning in the Clinton White House in which Misha comes off as rather thirsty for Bill

December 20th, 2020: All Supernatural related materials disappear off the CW's website due to a copyright dispute with Warner Brothers

December 31st, 2020: Mishapocalypse redux

February 9th, 2021: Spn cast members Chad Lindberg and Samantha Ferris tweet about a party at the Roadhouse and it grows to become a full Destiel wedding

February 16th, 2021: @steveyockey made a fairly benign post about Jensen Ackles. The notes went wild in a variety of ways and started a rumor that Spn writer Steve Yockey was dead

February 20th, 2021: Steve Yockey is not dead and he should say it

March 3rd, 2021: The German dub drops and it is also romantic in tone

March 6-8th, 2021: A virtual con happens where Jensen discusses Chaos Machine and Jared says he wants to be in their next project. They also show that WAP video. Jensen is giving full mountain man preparing to play Soldier Boy.

March 10th, 2021: The French dub is released. Cas says, "I love you, Dean" and Dean now responds, "Don't do this to me, Castiel"

March 13th, 2021: The company Amazon tweets about Castiel and Misha Collins asks if they ship Deancas or Wincest. Subsequently apologizes.

March 16th, 2021: Misha says he can't speak as Castiel because Warner Brothers" specifically forbade it. #cwsniperconfirmed

March 17th, 2021: Sam and Eileen are getting married! I have no idea how this came about but I'm happy for them

March 23rd, 2021: Chad Lindberg and Samantha Ferris claim on Twitter that the Roadhouse party was about Valentine's day and not a wedding. Ferris specifically said that she worked on the show and that people tried to make Dean/Cas into "something that it wasn't", She also stated she doesn't "know what queerbaiting is" and that it was due to an "agenda". This led to #deanisbi trending on Twitter and Tumblr.

March 31st, 2021: Some possibly fake leaked scripts come up for sale on eBay. Also, Jensen is Batman.

April 1st, 2021: Mishapocalypse redux

April 6th, 2021: Leaked scripts from the 2 final episodes pop up and have several mentions of Cas in them that were omitted. Dean even thinks about Cas's confession when confronting Chuck.

April 18th, 2021: Scripts from seasons 12 and 13 leak. These include scenes from after Cas's death

May 17th, 2021: Jensen's band Radio Company releases an album including the song Watching Over Me

June ~5th, 2021: Misha says at a convention that Watching Over Me is about Castiel. Jensen neither confirms nor denies this when asked about it

June 11th, 2021: It is announced that Misha is publishing a book of poetry

June 18th, 2021: The Russian dub airs and Dean's line is changed to "Don't you dare, Cas"

June 24-28th, 2021: Jensen and Daneel Ackles reveal that they are making a Supernatural prequel series following John and Mary Winchester (a story that NOBODY was asking for). Jensen will reprise his role as Dean and will narrate. Misha hints that he would like to be involved, as do Ruthie Connell, Samantha Ferris, Matt Cohen, and Julie McNiven (the perils of having a cast of mostly immortal characters). But Jared Padalecki first says that he is happy for the Ackles's, he later said he was "gutted", then responded to Robbie Thompson's tweet calling him a "coward" and saying "what an awful thing you've done". The next day, Jensen and Jared both do damage control and say they'll always be brothers

July 17th, 2021: People are asking if Destiel will be canon in Space Jam, Misha's poetry book's cover is revealed to lukewarm reviews and people are talking about a particular poem about piss, and Perfume Genius releases an article that is a self-insert vore fanfiction about having sex with Jensen Ackles

August 2nd, 2021: Perfume Genius is at it again with "Last Friday, I had my eyes removed by Jared Padalecki". No, I do not know why she is doing this.

August 9th, 2021: Destiel fics hit 100k on Ao3. Misha tweets his support and people remember that he sometimes reads fanfiction and theorize he has an A03 account

September 1st, 2021: Misha makes his first Tiktok. There is a short intro before he calls cut, walks behind a screen, and strips his clothes off

September 3rd, 2021: Jake Abel uses Michael and Adam to help sell his hot sauce brand

September 4th, 2021: Misha confirms that the love between Castiel and Dean was "reciprocated"

September 9th, 2021: A clip of the real Italian dub of the confession scene goes viral as it is revealed that, unlike the Spanish dub, they change the line to "ti voglio bene" or essentially "I love you like family". Misha responds with a video saying "Ciao Italia, ti amo" with the subtitle "Love is love in any language"

September 21st, 2021: Misha drops the fact that one of his poems is from Castiel's perspective.

September 30th, 2021: Jensen will be appearing at a con on the same day as Misha and not with Jared for "professional reasons"

October 4th, 2021: Misha responds to a fan's tweet by saying that Jensen has "crazy eyes and a knife in his pocket"

October 10th, 2021: Daneel posts a picture of Jensen intently reading Misha's poetry book in front of a roaring fire on Instagram. Misha responds that he misses them even more

October 12th, 2021: Jensen is cast in Rust, a (rather ill-fated) western and Misha says "Yippie-ki-yay" and calls him a stud in the comments

October 16th, 2021: Denvercon. Jensen and Jared reunite for the first time since THE INCIDENT

April 24th, 2022: Misha Collins says in terms of being an extrovert, an introvert, or a bisexual, he joked "I'm all three". This led to the internet celebrating Misha's newly revealed bisexuality.

April 25th, 2022: Misha Collins comes out as straight. Oops!

June 19th, 2022: According to Misha, Dean's heaven was supposed to be at the Roadhouse with all his friends and Cas was going to be there with him

November 7th, 2022: Misha calls Elon Musk a snowflake

November 12th, 2022: Tumblr starts planning another Mishapocalypse

January 24th, 2023: Jensen and the cast of the Winchesters throw Dean Winchester a birthday party, including wearing silly little hats

February 26th, 2023: At JIBcon 11, Jensen sings an improvised song about an angel while Misha sits cross-legged on the floor looking up at him

April 1st, 2023: 10 year anniversary of the Mishapocalypse

April 16th, 2023: A year after his bisexual whoopsie daisy, Misha says that Warner Brothers asked him to "let it go" and keep pretending to be bisexual.

August 23, 2023: Rogue Spanish translator is revealed to not have gone rogue at all but instead to have followed the script he was given, confirming the existence of a mutual love confession that was cut at some point.

If you can remember any events and dates that I haven't found, please let me know and I'll add them! I haven't really rounded out 2022 and 2023 yet.

introducing charlotte

Charlotte EJ Lucia Jacklyn Hughes was born april 3, 2020.

Quinn Hughes and Frances Gomez became friends when Quinn moved to Vancouver and one night they got together. Frances wanted nothing to do with the child and gave full custody to Quinn, not even wanting to the name he picked.

Charlotte- Quinn had always secretly wanted to name his child charlotte after reading charlotte’s web.

Ej- Quinn took the first initials of his parents names for one of his daughter’s middle names.

Lucia- Quinn picked that as one of her middle name in honor of his little brother Luke.

Jacklyn- Quinn picked that as one of her middle name in honor of his little brother.

When Quinn found out about his friend been pregnant with his child he immediately started looking for houses, having lived in an apartment since he moved to Vancouver.

Quinn started noticing early on Frances wanted nothing to do with having a child and he knew he wouldn’t only be a father but a mother as well.

Quinn cried tears of joy when he found out he was having a daughter.

Quinn bought a doll with lots of hair and watched hundreds of videos so when his daughter came be would be prepared.

When Charlotte was born Quinn immediately fell in love with his daughter but especially her eyes, which are a soft green, and he took a picture of her eyes and sent it the Canuck’s equipment manger and asked for his tape to be that color from now on.

Charlotte as a baby would wrap her tiny fingers around Quinn’s hand or hair and wouldn’t let go gaining the nickname love bug from her father.

Charlotte was a calm baby never crying or screaming in the middle of the night, the only times she would cry in the middle of the night Quinn figured it out she just wanted to sleep with her father and not in the crib.

Ellen adores her granddaughter, enjoying there being another girl in their family. Ellen will always make time to visit Charlotte and they will go shopping and gets their nails done. When Ellen is ever shopping without Charlotte, Ellen will still find outfits for her Charlotte and send it to her.

Jim has a really big soft spot for his granddaughter and she likes to sit on his lap and watch hockey with him.

Luke was 17 when Charlotte was born so they are the closed in age and Luke and Charlotte are best friends.

Luke brought a stuff animal shark went he came to meet his niece and she carry’s it with her everywhere.

Luke and Charlotte will just be sitting together and Charlotte will just be babbling and Luke talks back seeming to always understand his little niece.

Charlotte first word was LuLu for her uncle luke. Quinn had to facetime Luke and told Charlotte to tell uncle Lu what you just said and she said lulu, Luke wont admit it but he teared up from hearing her speak to him.

When Jack found out he was going to be an uncle he immediately got a baby size Nj Devils jersey for his niece.

Jack always begs Quinn to come and bring Charlotte out for the Devils family skate so he can have his niece there with him.

The devils team all love Charlotte and love when she comes to the games or they are playing the canuck’s.

One of Charlottes favorite places is their lake house and she always wants to be in the water or on the boat.

Charlotte loves Elias and always claps her hands and squeals when seeing him.

When Charlotte was first born, Quinn didn’t want to trust any babysitter so he would bring her to their practices and he would set the stroller near the glass so she could see and would bring a big fluffy blanket for her and Charlotte would fall asleep every time to the sound of hockey.

On away games there was no way Quinn wasn’t bringing his daughter with him, and luckily his coach has no problem letting the sweet girl join them. She would be with quinn the entire time expect when he had to be on the ice and then she would fall asleep in her stroller or someone on the team would carry her or one of wags would take her for the game and play with her in the family box.

Quinn brought his daughter onto the ice the second she could stand on her own and she loved being on the ice, a bright smile on her face the entire time.

As she grew up she was always a more clumsy child but the second she got on the ice she moved with insane elegance unlike her uncle jacky who has tripped over his feet many times on the ice.

Requested: yes by; @benhardysbaby5 summary: it is 2020 and the covid pandemic just got worse than it already was…. Seeing you are in lockdown and living with your boyfriend who was working on the new Elvis movie and your college being on lock down it could get quite lonesome.

It was a typical Monday afternoon your last zoom class just ended so now you were. Just starting up dinner seeing your boyfriend Austin could be home from filming any time soon. You weren’t lying if you were being honest the whole pandemic was taking a toll on you.

You couldn’t see your friends nor your parents. unless it was over the phone. You couldn’t go to your classes, and you were stuck at home half the time. And since Austin was filming allot you barely got to see him. and when he was home, he was in his study all the time obsessing over Elvis, so he’d know exactly how to play him. at first you didn’t mind you liked the alone time but after a while it started to get lonesome.

Sometimes you wonder if it would’ve been different if you were closer in age. But you soon snapped out of your thoughts as you heard the door open. You smiled as you watched Austin enter, you’re shared apartment. He put his stuff down in the living room and made his way into the kitchen. “Hi darlin’” he mumbled as he hugged you from behind. Kissing your neck softly.

You giggled and smiled gently before softly asking “hi Aus, how was shooting?” He smiled gently at you before tasting the food. “Ah shit that’s hot” he said probably burning His tongue you giggled and looked at him waiting for an answer. “Filming was good, gotta work on something though so I gotta go do that but I’ll join you later on the couch you can put my food in the microwave.” He said and kissed your cheek before rushing his way upstairs.

Before you could even answer he had already made his way up to his study. You sighed softly and looked down at the food you made. Not even hungry anymore you decided it’d be a good moment to clean the kitchen. You knew he’d be busy with work the minute he got the roll as Elvis. At first you didn’t mind that he was too busy for you.

But when he got the role, your mental health was allot better back then. If you were completely honest to yourself, you weren’t doing so well the lonesome feeling was taking over. Again, just like back in high school before you met Austin, you sighed softly to yourself and shook the bad thoughts of you. And decided to head upstairs so you could take a long hot bath to clear your thoughts.

You walked into your shared bedroom and went through your drawers. You grabbed a new pair of underwear before diving into your closet to look for Austin his favorite shirt. You smiled softly to yourself as you found it. You grabbed a towel and headed into the bathroom letting the bath water run putting a bath bomb in that. You probably got for your birthday a while back.

You painted your nails the same color as always, it was red because honestly you didn’t know why you just liked the red. After you painted your nails, you got in the tub and washed your hair. When you finished washing, your hair you sighed softly hugging you’re knees you rested your head on your knees. Legs pulled against your body, you didn’t notice that you were on the verge of tears until that song started playing.

You didn’t even notice that Austin had put music on it was just there all of a sudden. you also weren’t surprised that it was another Elvis record, you didn’t mind though you were raised on the mans music and was proud to say you’re boyfriend was representing him in the new biopic. But my god was it lonesome.

So, when you heard the first few notes of are you lonesome tonight. you couldn’t help but let your tears fall. As the song played in the background Elvis his voice rang trough out your entire house. Your boyfriend singing along to the chorus of the song.

Shall I come back again

Tell me dear are you lonesome…tonight…?

At this point you were so lost in thought and sadness that you didn’t even hear the music stopping. you didn’t hear the footsteps in the hall stopping at the door nor the knock that could be heard on the door but what you did hear was. “y/n?..... y/n baby what’s going on please talk to be dear why are you crying?” Austin’s voice called out to you filled with worry.

You were so lost in your own sadness, in your own pain that you couldn’t even answer your boyfriend. You were to scared that if you told him how you felt that, he’d leave you I mean to be fair he had girls laying at his feet. And yet here he was all yours and so worried about his baby, his baby having a melt down by herself you didn’t know but he felt as helpless as you at this point.

So here he was pleading you to tell him what was going on trough the door. But he still couldn’t get an answer out of you. So, he plead one last time before he decided to barge in, “y/n baby please open the door darling please I need to know if your okay…” he plead still only heard more sobs. At this point he decided that he had enough and opened the door.

He looked at you his heartbreaking at the sight of his precious girl. Curled up and crying into her knees. The moment he saw you like this he got in the tub pulling you close. He didn’t even hesitate, he didn’t even care about his clothes. All he cared about was you he kissed your head and buried his face in your hair whispering sweet nothings. “Baby please you gotta calm down, tell me what’s wrong please baby please” he plead.

You finally catched your breath and calmed down as you softly spoke. “I-I’m so lonely Aus… I miss my parents and friends I want to see them, and I…. I know you’re so busy filming and I feel so… so guilty about feeling this way I know your busy and how important this is to you, it’s gonna be your big break trough I know it baby I just…. I feel lonesome” you said voice filled with sadness choking on tears.

Hell, now he realized it… he’s been neglecting you he forgot how lonely you could get during this whole pandemic. You couldn’t see your friends or family the day lockdown was announced he made sure he had flew you over the day it started to make sure you were by his side. But what he forgot was that you didn’t know anyone here and now it hit him. he was so busy with filming or doing research in his study. he knew that sometimes he could get carried away and spent hours sometimes even days in that room… that he completely forgot about you.

He even snapped at you once de to lack of sleep and food. He took you and your feelings for granted something he had sworn he’d never do but he did… you were in this state because of him and oh boy he had allot to make up to you he couldn’t lose his best girl after all.

He grabbed your face gently and kissed you wiping your tears away. “I’m sorry baby I’m so so so so sorry, I took you for granted I didn’t mean to I swear I’d never neglect my favorite girl like that, I just got so carried away with becoming Elvis I… I forgot about my girl can you forgive me baby please I’ll promise I’ll spend more time with you okay…?” he said on the edge of tears himself now he never meant to hurt you like that you are his world.

You sniffled and looked up at him “you promise? “You said with pleading eyes. No sadness you just needed the reassurance that was all you needed from the start. Austin looked at you and softly pressed his forehead against yours. “I promise baby will you forgive me please “ he whispered giving you a small smile. You smiled and stroked his cheek softly “ye I forgive you baby I could never stay mad at you, you know that” you whispered before pressing your lips to his.

He smiled softly kissing you back as you two stayed like this for a moment. Just enjoying each other’s company before Austin spoke again. “let’s gets changed ye baby… we’ll order your favorite food and ice cream and then we’ll hold a movie marathon hm? How does that sound” he asked and stroked your cheek smiling.

You smiled and nodded your head “that sounds like a great plan baby” you whispered as you pulled him in for another kiss.

And from this moment on he made sure you were never lonesome again….

Time for this year's Art Year in Review!

All during this year I have felt like I was struggling to get anything done. So looking back on it, I'm surprised to find that I did more this past year than I did in 2021. (Still not up to the levels of 2020 though.) The VAST majority of it was due to one project: the 10th Anniversary piece in June (48 pictures, 87 individuals, done in 9 days). If not for that, the year's total would have been pretty pathetic; I even wrapped up the year just doing some updated character-redraws of old pieces. But... I *did* do that, and probably burned myself out a bit doing it, so credit to myself where it's due.

Totals: 72 pieces (22 of them full backgrounds and color); 164 individuals.

I hope 2024 is better all around.

(i know you asked this earlier in the week anon but i have time to properly answer now)

i used to go to the shop regularly but 2020 got me back to mainly doing my own nails again

shape and length

i had the medium length almond (left) for like a year and i think it’s nice. a very popular length and shape rn. but my comfort place is definitely long nails, a claw. (middle + right)

i talk with my hands so i like being able to hear my nails tap against each other. and the tap when i’m tapping on my phone is excellent. that’s probably a weird thing to like but for me it’s great. 😂

colors / designs

i love a seasonal nail look! i don’t care how corny it is, i will be participating. browns, gray, orange, black for fall. orange, purple, black, red for halloween. red, green, silver, white, light blue, glitter for december. red, white, pink for february…it’s just so fun and there are so many looks to try each year and so little time for all of them!

the rest of the year i think i just go with the vibe or trying new trends. the 3d nail art usually comes out in spring/summer since i get annoyed when it gets caught in sweaters and my gloves in winter 😂 a fun design depends on how much time i have. i like doing something fun with my nails usually instead of just a solid color. that gets boring to look at.

i don’t really do a lot of nude nails, i love color. i usually lean towards a natural look or a french with some fun. or a milky look to the nails ~

yea i’ve always loved doing my nails. my first instagram account ever was actually just an account that i posted my nail looks during high school. that was sooo much fun. i miss it. 😔

KOREAN.

+ Call It Love (2023)(26 Feb-) ~ Airing. ★★★★☆

I am liking Call It Love way more than I expected from the initial trailer. This drama is quite pretty. It certainly isn't as depressing as the trailer made it out to be. I'm intrigued by our lead couple and how this love story might unfold. It's nice to see Lee Sung Kyung in a more serious and down-to-earth role.

+ Crash Course in Romance (2023)(14 Jan-) ~ Airing. ★★☆☆☆ tvN. Netflix

I am in love with the lead couple and most of the cast, yet here I am absolutely flabbergasted by the murder mystery plot that has finally been revealed. To be blunt, this part of the story falls very short and makes little sense to the rest of the drama. It's trying to balance too many genres at once. The murder mystery is distracting and absurd. I mostly resent these pieces of this drama since it takes away from the cute romance-y and found family moments. Last week's episodes were sorely disappointing.

+ Our Blooming Youth (2023)(7 Feb-) ~ Airing. ★★★☆☆

I am always down for a historical gender bender. Parts of it give me some Love in the Moonlight vibes. It's a bit more serious in tone, and our Prince is super broody. Though I haven't seen much from Jeon So Na before, I appreciate the energy and spunk she brings to her role.

Based on the drama with the screenwriter for season 1, I am concerned about season 2. It's nice to see Lee Je Hoon back on television again. The first week offers a bright, colorful opening for the season with amps up its larger-than-life tone.

Today was a pretty good day. I spent like 90% of it just sewing. And I honestly deserved that. I am really glad I let myself do that. Just make stuff and not feel guilt over it. I am trying very hard to not feel guilt.

I had accomplished so much yesterday that I shouldn't feel bad but that is always hard.

I slept better last night. And I actually woke up at 830 like I wanted. But I did not get up for an hour. Just enjoyed watching videos on my phone. Waking up slowly.

I had had a very bad nightmare where James was biking and got hit by a car and their spleen ruptured and they bled to death. And this was just to realistic for me and I was at work in my dream and it was just very unsettling. It was good to see their big goofy smile when I woke up.

James made the bed and made me an egg sandwich while I got dressed. I was ready to do stuff. But we had a phone call at 130 with our wedding photographer and so I was desperate to not fall into 'waiting mode'. And so after I had my breakfast I got to work on cutting more fabric.

I finished cutting all my squares while listening to a podcast. And James cut some for me too. I spent forever ironing them. And took some snack breaks. But then I was into sewing world.

I would cut and sew and cut and sew. I know I'm not quilting correctly. I'm not measuring anything. Everything is measure never, cut 30 times. But I was having fun!!

James went to go buy groceries while I stayed here and continued to sew. I had some issues with tension. But I was able to fix it mostly. It kept happening but it was not a horrible pain to fix. I just hated having to keep retreading over and over.

Our phone call got pushed back to 2. And James got home right before that. I finished another line and joined them on the couch.

And Audrey is so nice! Since I reached out to her last year I hadn't spoken to her. James has been handling emails. But she is Charlie's friend and that was good enough for me. But she's really great.

She complimented how thoughtful my answers were. And that made me feel good. And she had some excellent questions and ideas. She made me feel very comfortable and supported. I am excited to work with her. I am nervous about the number of photos. How to you pick the best 60 out of the thousands you might shoot. I am excited to work with someone who is going to give us the best of the best that really show the day. But also. Scary to trust someone. And like since she's going to let us go through all of them I'm sure we can always get more from the entire set but also. Ahh. Scary.

But she was great. And it put me in a good mood.

And so once we were off the call I went back to my sewing.

I played with sewing cotton inside the blanket. But it didn't work with my machine and I ended up tearing big holes in my material. Disappointing. But I fixed it and I'm just going to sew lines all over it to give it that structure. This was just for fun so it doesn't matter much.

I took a break from that and started playing with the better colors James had cut for me. And played with sewing in half to make triangles. They are not even at all but it was fun. I tried to puzzle them together. I want to keep trying new things and maybe make an actual quilt that is nice someday.

I did this under the sun went down. Sewing and cutting and ironing. My shoulders were burning. I took a little time to lay down to calm my back pains down. It helped.

James made us Indian food. I was hungrier then I thought.

But I kept sewing. Sweetp was not being nice to me today and scratched my arm!! He never scratches!! So I was pretty upset. He didn't scratch on purpose I think. His nails just need to be cut. But he was angry with me and I don't know why. He calmed down after I squeezed him for a bit and told him he was punished. He a bad boy.

I started working on the pink patch quilt I had started in 2020. I think that's when I started it. But it was fun to get into it again. I hope I can finish it because I like it a lot.

My back was burning though. And so I went and took a bath. Enjoyed just being in the very hot water. And now me and James are in bed.

I am very tired. But tomorrow I have my make up teeth cleaning. I hope it actually happens but also. I hope it doesn't. I don't know. I am not happy to be going back.

But then we are going to go to the zoo. I am excited to see animals.

Edifice Coulee

When the world falls apart, it’s best to stick to the old adage of “Birds of a feather flock together.” Especially when you’re part bird.

Chapter 4 is now up on the website Jotter, which, as it was described to me, takes the fanfiction website approach to cut out the middleman in the publishing business (and like I said, I have college bills to pay). It’s subscription-based, which allows it to run ad-free, but I continue to have good news: you can use the code “Pionus21” to try it free for three months.

Moving on…I said I had nailed down Dr. John’s design first, this was my study piece to do so. You’ll notice he ended up a little darker in the final product—mostly I was leaning towards a ruddier color for him. Hoatzins might come in orange colors, but bearded vultures mostly end up those colors from painting their own feathers with clay and such.

Also worth mentioning is that Dr. John is under severest technicality a griffin bird-person—everyone figured he stayed upright instead of quadrupedal out of pure spite, but the end result is him towering over everyone else, as the little illustration shows. It also means he doesn’t have the little flare-crests that other male bird-people have, since the griffin subset don’t grow those (artistic explanation is I could never get them to look right ^^; ).

Say Their Names - Why Awareness Of The BLM Movement Is Important

We breathe the same air, walk the same walk, and ultimately, have the same destination. It's ironic how, through the similarities, with every reason to embrace unity and comradery, we choose to segregate based on the color of our skin.

Wouldn't it be easier if we all were the same pigment? Perhaps this is why people constantly pursue having the common scarlet inside us surface.

Flogged, ridiculed, and murdered, many have fallen due to the epidemic of discrimination.

They are gone but certainly not forgotten. Let's discuss why awareness of the BLM movement is important.

Stronger Together

Learning how to tackle situations individually is essential, but there is only so far one can go when faced with an enemy like racism. Alone, you are strong; together, you are unstoppable. Raising awareness sets off a chain reaction, like dominos falling toward your inevitable destination. And this reaction can only be triggered if there is awareness.

Awareness educates people and, more importantly, gives them the courage to persevere and face adversity head-on.

Through Tyranny

Racism against people of color has been an epidemic that has tainted the sanctity of all that the United States stands for. From slavery and tyranny to White Supremacists, particularly the Ku Klux Klan, African Americans have been fighting for their freedom for centuries.

It wasn't until 1964 that the Civil Rights Acts gave people a voice and a sense of protection, for it officially prohibited segregation and discriminatory practices.

But the war on racism didn't end there. Even though there were systemic changes and laws regulating discriminatory practices, the nation's hearts were still cold, and segregation was rampant.

The outcome? Multiple lives were lost due to suicide, murders, and, yes, police brutality.

The Power of Awareness

Sir Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream, and his famous speech profoundly impacted our lives. He ignited the thirst for freedom, regardless of dark skin. Since then, it was almost as if this passion was bubbling up; a seismic change was set in stone, a bomb waiting to explode.

And on the 25th of May, 2020, the world witnessed the final nail in the coffin of tolerance.

Derek Chauvin, a white police officer, brutally murdered a 46-year-old, innocent black American man named George Floyd.

George spoke his last words for the millions of African Americans shrouded in discrimination, saying, "I can't breathe."

And just like that, after his passing, the world took to the streets, from Minneapolis to France, for the first time in years; it seemed as though the world was listening.

George Floyd wasn't the only name being proclaimed and highlighted; but all other individuals who fell victim to racial tyranny.

The world saw the power of awareness: Heyward Patterson, Katherine Massey, Breonna Taylor, Ruth Whitfield, and many others.

Say their names; spread awareness.

Author Lori Schneider, with her brilliant anthology of poetry, A Brighter TOMORROW, highlights the need for racial justice in a country damned by prejudice. Her book creates a seismic impact, leading newer generations to be the light of hope.

Enrollment is not guaranteed even when all enrollment requirements are satisfied and a special program application packet is submitted. Within the Cosmetology curriculum, every course is "cohort restricted." This indicates dnd fall colors that certain courses are set aside just for those obtaining a cosmetology certificate.

Students are urged to complete the Skyline College steps to enrollment as well as the FAFSA, Dream Act, and other financial aid applications as soon as possible because the cosmetology program at the school is quite popular. Students who initially registered at Skyline for a 1,600-hour program.
