Okay I promise I'll do a more serious piece tomorrow but I had to get the memes out of my system first

Anywho if you haven't read Other Worlds Than These yet by @lesbian-honey-lemon get over there I am forever a sucker for Obake fics and this month I have been Spoiled. <3

Anyway in the fic Hiro is thrilled to death because Beck is like him but Taller in his eyes and according to Beck Hiro must be Protected At All Costs. Granted in the fic he didn't take a crowbar to Yokai's head but the vibe was still there. XD

Some art featuring my BH6/Ducktales crossover Safe in Brother’s Wings (read now on FFN and AO3)—Tadashi still isn’t used to wings and being aware of them and the feathers? Hoo boy.

So as you can see under Tadashi’s leg there, I’ve been working on and off on this since I started writing the fic back in 2019—it’s also in reference to this tumblr post that I spent a whole night hunting for. Legit trawled through my archive and had to use the date of my sketch to find it because I knew I had reblogged it before then. Dang that took a while to hunt down.

So I just caught Shadows and Ash up on AO3 so it matches FFN, updates will now be Wednesdays for that one

And since I have some intents to posts some one-shots I want to make a quick PSA:

With the exception of direct sequels (i.e., planned sequels for Obake Itoko, Ghost's Reign, (Not So) Hated by Life Itself, etc.) I will NOT be posting anything new to FFN

FFN is once again doing its whole song and dance about how e-mails are not going out, as it did late 2023, and while I'm busy copying everything over to AO3 and backing up fics I've found on there that I like...I'm not certain I see the point in persisting in posting new stuff there

It feels very much like it's trying to die and with that in mind, I'm just...not gonna put anything on there unless it's a sequel to something already posted

Anywho after the rash of one-shots I have planned expect to see me porting another chonker over from FFN, probably the Don't Starve/Portal one The Things We Do For Science, stay tuned

When the world falls apart, it’s best to stick to the old adage of “Birds of a feather flock together.” Especially when you’re part bird.

Chapter 8 is up on the website Jotter—as it was described to me, takes the fanfiction website approach to cut out the middleman in the publishing business (and like I said, I have college bills to pay). It’s subscription-based, which allows it to run ad-free, but I continue to have good news: you can use the code “Pionus21” to try it free for three months.

Once again, Edifice Coulee can be found on Jotter, “Pionus21” gives you three months free, I’ll be bumping up the posting on this story to weekly in the interim, please check it and other stories out on the website and…seriously guys I have college bills I gotta focus on. :|

Moving on…baby bird-people. \.o./

So this gave me the opportunity to finally illustrate a newborn bird-person, or rather hatchling—they’re born blind and remain as such for the first ten to fourteen days, at which point their eyes open and they become more rambunctious. Kind of like kittens, or a cross between altricial and precocial bird hatchlings. Saying that...you guys have no idea how much I’ve been looking forward to this chapter we’ve finally introduced the secondary protagonist of the story. :D
