With how chimney was the one who made hen/Karen and Buck/Tommy happen (because of either introducing them to eachother or saving one's life)

I want queers people of LA to hear from the grapevine that there is a firefighter who helped 2 queer couple be together. They talk about him in gay bars and other LGBTQ+ events.

And at first the stories will have all the real details but then the more people would be telling the story, the more it would became a fairytale.

Like yeah at first he helped 2 couples in like 15 years but then it became 4 couples and then 10 etc... And like each year....

At first it would only be in LA but then it would be that he did it in other cities too.

And then a lot of queers people would want to have his help to find their soulmates too.

People would try to find who he is and with how much people can be detectives on twitter or tik tok, they would succeed.

And a first post that say that the LA firefighter Cupid has been found with his photo attached to it, would make chimney and the entire team laugh during a 118 meal.

But then people would send him mp asking him to help them find love, because they're lonely.

They're not out yet and don't know how to find someone outside of apps or they feel too old for the "modern ways" and think maybe it's better if a matchmaker help.

He would not respond because well, what can he do ? And then the firehouse would receive letters addressed to him and asking the same thing.

And between mp and letters, one evening when he's bored, he decides to really read them...

A 71 years old man who just came out to his family and heard of chimney from his grandchildren and they want him to be happy so why not ask the firefighter Cupid ?

A 37 years old who only had disappointing relationships and is done with apps and writes to chimney just for a giggle but also because they're secretly still hoping...

2 kids hoping for their mother to find love again after she lost her partner some years ago and saw a post and think chimney could help...

And he reads them all and then he decides to help because it's who he is, so yes maybe he can't help everybody who wrote to him but some he can with the help of the queers people in his life.

So he asks Hen and Karen and Buck and Tommy to help and well maybe some letters or mp find each other and some of their single friends or acquaintances are not singles anymore and so the rumors that there is a firefighter Cupid in LA are not really rumors anymore...

Aizo: Cheerful and athletic. During their visit to Izumo Shrine, he said “I will definitely become an idol who’ll not lose to anyone else, so please cheer me on.” when he was making his prayers.

Q: What feature(s) of Izumo made the biggest impression on you?

Aizo: It goes without saying that the shrines and temples were impressive, but I also climbed to the top of a lighthouse known as the Hinomisaki Lighthouse. I heard that it’s the tallest lighthouse in Japan, and the view from the observation deck at the top was amazing. You can see the entire Sea of Japan from up there. I hope that everyone would be able to give climbing to the top of the lighthouse a try.

Yujiro: Mild-mannered and polite. During their visit to Izumo Shrine, he said “Thank you for watching over me every day. I’ll continue to devote myself to my work.” when he was making his prayers.

Q: What feature(s) of Izumo made the biggest impression on you?

Yujiro: I guess it’d be Izumo soba, their local delicacy. It’s known as Warigo Soba, and the soba is served in three stacked tiers of round bowls, along with condiments and dipping sauce on the side. It was the first time that I had ever eaten this style of soba, and I found it to be delicious. This style of soba seems to have been perfected back when people started to eat soba as a packed meal. The origin story of the meal was also really interesting to listen to.

The Tourism Ambassadors of Izumo: Up Close and Personal with LIPxLIP!

Congratulations on being appointed as the tourism ambassadors of Izumo! How do you feel about it?

Yujiro: Through this collaboration, I learned that Izumo City has a very deep connection to the history of Japan, with the famous Izumo Shrine and numerous historic shrines and temples being found within the city. As such, I feel that it’s a great honour to have been appointed as the tourism ambassadors of Izumo City.

Aizo: You know, Izumo City is where shito, our producer from HoneyWorks, spent his youth, so I wonder if that connection to him led us to our appointments as its tourism ambassadors thanks to the Matchmaking shrines in the area. I’d like for us to show off the charms of Izumo City to many people as LIPxLIP, its tourism ambassadors.

What are your plans for this collaboration event in Izumo? Also, how did your voice recording go?

Aizo: Starting on the 26th of January, “Izumo Day”, we will commence a digital stamp rally called “Touring Izumo City with LIPxLIP” via an app, which will play our voices as you visit famous spots in Izumo. The recording was a ton of fun too. We learned a lot as we voiced our introductions about each of the featured spots.

Yujiro: There are many stories about places and people that are straight out of Japanese History textbooks, so I think there are things to be enjoyed about the tour, aside from our dialogue. Of course, there are snippets of our personal conversations included in the recordings. Like when I went into a footbath with Aizo. Right, Aizo?

Aizo: You mean that time when you chased me all the way to the edge of the footbath, huh?!

Yujiro: Is that what happened? Ahahaha (laughs).

I heard that the two of you reunited with an unexpected person while you were sightseeing in Shimane, while you were there for a tour?

Aizo: Yup, we did. We bumped into him by chance. His name’s Nagisa. You know about him, don’t you?

Yujiro: Nagisa came to our concert too. I think he became a fan of LIPxLIP too, don’t you?

Aizo: Yeah. He definitely became our fan. No doubt about it.

Yujiro: We’ll confirm it with him when we see him again.

HoneyWorks’s 6th album, which is set to be released in March, will include a recording of the Special Sunny Party (SunnyPa) Live on a bonus disc. You guys performed Shin Jidai for the first time at SunnyPa. How was it?

Aizo: Shin Jidai was a song that our seniors, Full Throttle4, invited us to collaborate on. It felt like a brand new challenge to us, as it was a song that we would not usually get the chance to sing or dance to as LIPxLIP. As such, I got the sense that we were performing it with a rather fresh feeling.

Yujiro: Our seniors were singing and dancing fairly seriously, so we were desperately doing our best so as to not fall behind them. Just like Aizo had said, I, too, felt like we had performed with a fresh feeling. And, through this performance we got to experience a sense of something that we didn’t yet have, which we are hoping that we would be able to apply in our next performance.

Aizo: The Julieta who watched the concert loved it. They said that their hearts pounded when they saw Yujiro acting all aggressively confident, since he doesn’t do that often. Right, Yujiro?

Yujiro: Weren’t there comments about how scary my face looked? I haven’t watched the recording yet, but I wonder if I did alright.

Aizo: They sure were honest, huh (laughs). Please do check out the recording, okay?

During the emcee portion with Full Throttle4 (FT4), you guys imitated each other again, didn’t you? What are your thoughts on FT4’s imitations of you two, and how did you feel about trying to imitate them again?

Aizo: Let’s not talk about the imitations! We were just swept up in FT4’s bad vibes, really. We didn’t even agree to do that beforehand, and yet they suddenly sprung it on us…

Yujiro: That's the one thing I wish they’d stop asking us to do. It’s embarrassing, regardless of whether we succeed or fail at imitating them, and it’ll destroy LIPxLIP’s image, you know? (laughs)

Aizo: Wait, don’t tell me that emcee portion was recorded too?

Yujiro: It seems to be so.

Aizo: Seriously…? I wonder if it’ll appeal to our Julieta, though…

not sure if you'll know the answer to this but is there a reason why sammi doesn't appear in the matchmaker version of season 1 even though she's in the game assets?

Oh, blast from the past haha! I can answer this actually because I happened to be involved in conversations about it at the time and I did some writing for the chronological point where Sammi appears in LITG and then doesn't in MM.

In the original Season 1, Sammi only exists if Talia is romanced, and is brought in to even out the numbers of possible M/F couples, meaning that all the guys who are required to stay in the Villa at that stage of the game still have an in-universe reason to stay in. She was a product of what we used to call "couple maths".

Matchmaker is (was? not sure if it exists online anymore?) a lot simpler and less branching then the original Love Island the Game because of being made with different software; the structure and writing was done in-house but not the rest. I can't remember the details now but there were only certain ways that we could branch the narrative paths (plus each of the story sections had to be very short compared to LITG). So, there wasn't the capacity for such major branching and so we had to use different maths to even out the couples in the event of the MC being in an F/F couple rather than introducing Sammi.

I've no idea what's in the game assets or why Sammi assets would be in MM, but sometimes there were unused bits and pieces left around the place. I've seen players datamine the apps and draw conclusions from it, but in reality unused assets don't always reflect cut material.

Hey! Ive got one hell of a hypno kink too, but I've been struggling to actually find a play partner to explore it with? I've been asking around at like, Chicago WTNB Leatherdyke bar nights and stuff with no luck so far? Suspect it might be because I'm also pretty new to kink, and not rly into the more common kinks like impact/knife/blood/etc, so totally unvetted. How do you actually find ppl who want to do it irl?

Historically, I found most of my serious partners on the site Sleepy Chat, which is now defunct. But DreamyChat is a pretty similar dupe. It's a live chatroom with a matchmaking function. Alternatively, I have used some discords, like the hypnosisforguys one, and a bunch of other more trans focused ones exist.

However in Chicago there are in person options. The Mesmer hypnosis group meets at LRA dungeon about once a month -- see FetLife to join their group and see events. Then there's the Beguiled convention in the summer. There's some hypno events at International Mister Leather. Increasingly more furries and pups are into hypno so you can find some partners there too.

But often the hypno partners of our dreams are converted, not born! Read some of the books, put your interest out there in the apps and at the events as you've been doing, and try experimenting with trance during your other play -- like rope or impact play or anything headspacey like petplay/bimbo/abdl.

Various Loop Scenarios I had in mind:

The Color of Space Loop - Ryota gets possessed by the Color of Outer Space one night. No one noticed something different about Ryota except Daichi (who was in a relationship with Ryota). The entity thinks they’re the real Ryota. A very bittersweet ending happens.

The Berserker Loop - Claude found Daichi in the park first and recruits them to the Berserkers. Claude wants him to fight but Daichi shows no interest in fighting for a living and becomes business partners with Andvari. Their relationship becomes more than just business partners.

The Tycoon Loop - Licht and Melusine found Daichi first and took them in to join the Tycoons. Daichi and Licht are trying to keep their relationship a secret from the others Tycoon members.

The Outlaw Loop - Suzuku founds Daichi first and takes them in and they join the Outlaws. War against the police happens and some found family stuff.

The Daikoku Loop - Daikoku found Daichi first and becomes his guardian. They have a very intense love/hate relationship and Daichi becomes Daikoku’s student/apprentice.

The Akihabara Loop - Daichi attends Akihabara Academy. He doesn’t join the Creators but does hang out with them. Plays matchmaker with Hekate trying to get people into relationships.

The Yoyogi Loop - Daichi attends Yoyogi Academy and joins the Sumo Club. A love triangle ensues between Daichi, Yasuyori, and Ashigara

The Santa Loop - Daichi joins the Santa School, adopted by Ded, and ends being roommates with Ryota (who also attends the Santa school after he was recruited by Ded). Daichi was told to be part of the reindeer course but he wants to be a Dark Santa instead. So Yule and him have a common goal. And the Christmas event happens but this time it’s different

The Gamebreakers Loop - Daichi forms his own guild where the goal is to end the game and erase the app. Each member have their own personal goals involving the Three guilds and the Game masters. The members are Toji, Arc (who attends Shinjuku in this loop), Shinya, Furufumi, Robinson, and Tadatomo.

The Umamichi Academy Loop - Daichi attends Umamichi Academy and there Daichi eventually becomes King of the Delinquents.

The Takeminakata Loop - Daichi attends Roppongi Academy and joins their Sumo Club with Takeminakata. Licht and Tsath eventually get roped into it. Also some family drama happens with Takeminakata and Daikoku.

The Kirito Loop - Daichi meets Kirito first and they become partners in crime….until Daichi gets brutally backstabbed by Kirito out of jealousy.

Vivi (Bourne), an optimistic woman with a substandard romantic history, works at a data-driven matchmaking app. Once she discovers that the success rate for matches at her company is low, she hires Raina (Rekha Sharma, “Battlestar Galactica”), an Indian matchmaker, to provide advice on how to improve their numbers. However, Raina suggests an unusual arrangement to teach Vivi her tactics: she will use her expertise to help Vivi find love, and Vivi can use what she learns through this process to help her company. As they embark on this matchmaking journey, Vivi meets Raina’s spontaneous son, Bhumesh (Kota), and questions whether finding love is something one must take control of or allow to happen on its own.
