I love enemy approaching but it has absolutely NOTHING on rude buster.
Enemy approaching is great but short, and can get annoying after a while. Rude buster is just BURSTING with style, rhythm, personality, GOD it’s so good. I don’t think I’ll EVER get bored of it.

Mafia Goon is just general enemy. Child might see Mafia outside of forest, but Mafia isn't very sure. Mafia try to punch child, child must defend self from Mafia. Sometimes, Mafia manage to hurt self, or even catch fish! ...Mafia can be duller than sack of bricks.

As I said in the Anticipation’s description, that and (by extension) this Enemy Approaching stumped me ideas-wise for the longest time. Luggi took what lil scraps I'd managed to scrounge up, and came out the other end with a REALLY good concept; it was very much a pleasure doing business with him. Anyhow, hope you guys enjoy!
(P.S. There is one more track related to this that has been released, and which I'm prepping the Tumblr post for, but that one is a real ThornCrown in my side.) =)

I will laugh so hard if it turns out that John is making a sincere effort at being a decent parent and it's such an awful outcome for Gideon that I feel like it's plausible. He's giving off such man who thinks of himself as a good guy confronted with oops baby vibes.
#like he did get babytrapped and in fact attempted baby murdered and he knows he shouldn't make it Gideon's problem so he's trying not to#but she is a walking reminder of his dead besties' murder attempt#just. the way he says no reason to be an asshole to the mother of your child#the way he's like oh no you don't have to swear loyalty to me that's an inappropriate amount of pressure to put on our relationship#very funny under the murderstances#but also these are the words of a dude who felt tremendous contempt for men who whine about child support#and yet!! he's a tremendously vindictive and self centred person. what's a guy to do#he got babytrapped and it wasn't even because they wanted him around! it's because they wanted him gone!#and his kid is the murder weapon!#how is this fair?#very fun intersection of him knowing what the correct answer most in line with his values is#with the bit where he's just wildly unqualified to do that#you've got a#sims playing alcohol abusing vengeful god in the midst of a depressive episode#taking a deep breath and attempting a child centric approach#he's not going to be good at it!#he is also not going to immediately murder her to fuck over his enemies tho so he's still winning#for now!

#Kusuo learning from Akechi that competition can be fun and playful and not like. Torture.#And then learning that Kuusuke despite his shitty brother-isms is deep down seeking that exact thing#but just doesn’t know how to approach it#because of how their relationship functioned for years and how they both are#Like don’t get me wrong Kuusuke is uh. Not a good brother and his inferiority complex lead to him hating and mistreating his brother for#Many Years#And I don’t think this scene functions as forgiveness exactly (Kusuo still has resentment towards him in later arcs)#But I think it’s a moment where he realizes they’re both on some level really lonely people#Who have been fighting their whole lives#And being like “hey I don’t hate you. Let’s be friends instead of enemies.”#And Kuusukes response being “I should really be the one saying that to you”#I just. Like it’s a Start.#IDK like Kusuo was completely justified to hate his brother especially after something like the catgun arc#But he doesn’t and I think it’s because he realizes that his brother genuinely doesn’t hate him anymore#Their whole deal is just really interesting to me but idk how to phrase my thoughts on them coherently#The only thing I wish this arc had was Kuusuke having a “what did I do to you” moment but it is a comedy and we already got that from tori#so ynow#i just say he had that moment post meteor#does any of this make sense#Also it makes me so emo that he pictured akechi
