i think 99% of this fandom knows this fic, but here’s my thoughts: it addresses the power imbalances well, there’s angst, fluff, and smut. the dirty talk and possessiveness are magical. their personal character & relationship growth is so perfectly done and you can really feel how much louis & harry love and care about each other.

this is harry is louis’ baby but in a forbidden love kinda way that doesn’t feel like a forbidden love bc it feels so right is amazing. louis is immediately intrigued by & endeared by harry, harry’s enamored by louis & is constantly torn between flirting with him and respecting their fate. in this fic, it’s in the little things.

Hi! Yes, it's me. Thank you!!! And jeez. I wish I could direct you to a bunch, but the reason I wrote it is because so few people write that kind of smut anymore. Hmmm. Maybe I can give you a rec for the general vibe? Please know that many of these are old and some people will surely find them "problematic" these days. But they've got a similar kinky/inappropriate feeling to them IMO. Hopefully you won't know these yet:
Starting with the fic you mentioned (so glad you liked it!)
Hike Up Your Skirt (And Show Your World To Me) by Brooklyn_Babylon / @twopoppies (E, 18K) This one is mine, but I’m proud of it and I hope you like it. Make sure you read the tags on this one because it’s not your conventional fic and Louis is definitely super manipulative. But if you like the idea of secretary Harry in lingerie, CEO Louis, copious amounts of dirty talk, some power imbalance, and exhibitionism… this could be for you.
it's all for you, everything i do by @moonshinelouis (E, 2K) This short little fic is made up of one of my favorite tropes: Louis feigning disinterest while Harry begs for his attention. I really enjoy the way this author is able make their fics feel more than “just” a PWP.
pep talk turned into a pep rally by sarcasticfluentry (E, 20K) is an OT5 orgy x 2 with one being Louis-centric and one being Zayn-centric. It was written in 2014, so it’s a tiny bit dated as far as characterizations are concerned, but this author always writes well and their smut is always really hot.
I’d Do Niall by alongthewatchtower (E, 8K) I know this fic isn’t for everyone and I also know it’s pure filth. But I love everything about it. Dirty talk, Harry in panties, overwhelmed Harry, Niall trying it and not knocking it, Dom Louis vibes…all the good stuff. LOL!
You'll Breathe Me In (You Won't Release) by LoadedGunn (E, 95K) Also known as The Driving Instructor fic. This has some of the best pacing I’ve read in a fic, some really well written BDSM smut, and characters I just really enjoy. I know it’s not for everyone. Read the tags.
Are You Gonna Be My Girl? by LoadedGunn (E, 8K) Oh man….I love this one. Harry in lingerie, role play, feminization, dirty talk. It’s got it all. It’s even a Christmas fic!
You Are The Blood by sarcasticfluentry (E, 176K) If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’ve probably read this one. But if you haven’t, what are you waiting for? I don’t even like HP and I LOVED this fic. It’s a thrilling story and it’s full of ridiculously hot smut.
like how your hands feel me up and down by ballsdeepinjesus (E, 8K) First of all, this starts with Harry in a Snow White costume which, frankly, is all you need to grab my attention. Second of all, it’s super sexy and well paced and Harry’s in makeup and lingerie and….whew. You need to read it.
down on your knees, you don't look so tall by writtensoul (E, 3K) Harry is kind of a dick in this one, but it was written in 2013 at the height of the Frat Boy Harry narrative, so keep that in mind. It's otherwise really hot.
got my eyes on you by eleadore (E, 3K) Similar set up to the one above, but Harry isn't a dick. LOL!
Go With It by embro (E, 4K) i mean, how can you go wrong with: "You thought I was someone else and started making out with me in a club and you're really hot so I just kinda went with it and now we're heading back to your place and I don't know how to break it to you"
babydoll blues by devilinmybrain / @thedevilinmybrain (E, 112K) At last, the full-fledged, dirty, sugar baby fic we needed. Harry's character is so layered and so beautifully drawn, I just fell in love with him. Louis is sexy and powerful and also tender and sweet, just how I imagine the actual Louis to be. This author wrote one of my favorite fics of 2021, so I was really excited to dive into this one. They really know how to set a scene and draw you in to their characters. The sun was shining, the air was crisp with the promise of fall, and the smell of freshly baked goods wafted around the girl casually strolling the aisles of vendors at the autumn market.
Buckets of wildflowers added pops of colour, various species of gourds provided visual texture, and the sound of leaves crunching underneath her light stride put a spring in her step.
Hefting the bag on her back, loaded with goods from the many vendors she’d stopped by, she paused to watch a demonstration by a young woman around her age, who was explaining fashion in the late 19th century.
Several replica pieces hung on racks in her booth, and a couple women were trying on jackets and bonnets eagerly.
“Excuse me!” The young woman waved at her, and she walked over, curious. “What’s your name?”
“Cass.”
“Cass, it’s nice to meet you!” the woman smiled warmly, her cheeks a pretty blush from the cool breeze. “I’m Marinette. Would you be my model for the bicycle suit, to demonstrate how well it allowed for mobility?”
Cass nodded. “I do ballet.”
The girl grasped her hands dramatically, eyes practically hearts. “You do?! This is perfect! Thank you so much, Cass! My usual model is out sick today,” she mourned, gathering a pile of clothing and heading towards a small change stall. “Let me know if you need any help. The styles were a lot simpler as the fashions changed and drew inspiration from menswear, but they can still be confusing to someone who doesn’t typically wear antique clothing.”
Cass nodded and entered the change stall, leaving her backpack behind Marinette's sales counter before she began to don the old-fashioned garments.
She emerged and looked questioningly at Marinette, who led her to her sales pitch circle.
“Here’s today’s model, Cass, who will show you how flexible the clothing really was!”
Cass started off with some basic stretches, warming up before she attempted grander moves. She preferred her proper ballet attire or looser clothing, but this wasn’t bad. The loose fabric was breathable and not very restrictive, so once she was sufficiently warmed up, she began some simple jumps and movements.
Marinette continued her spiel as Cass performed one of her favourite dances, the solo from Act I of Don Quixote. It was short, but had jumps, twirls, and kicks, which provided a good range of movements to show off the clothing.
Cass finished with a professional bow, looking at Marinette during the applause to see if she had liked it. She had a wide-eyed, smiling look on her face, so Cass guessed she had done a good job of promoting Marinette’s work.
Once the demonstration was over, Cass hung around examining the wares of Marinette’s booth. Some half-finished pieces were on display, Marinette showing the process of making historically accurate and comfortable clothing.
A gorgeously embroidered blouse with many small wildflowers and birds and ladybugs caught her eye, and Cass held it up to herself. Once it was completed, it would be the right size to fit her, she thought.
Marinette came over, her eyes sparkling. “Thank you so much for your demonstration, Cass! I just made at least three sales because of that. Oh, I love this blouse. The embroidery is a pain, but it’s so worth it. The prettiest things always take the longest and hardest to become that way, don’t they,” she mused. “Did anything else catch your eye, that I can get for you?”
Cass shook her head. “Just this.”
“If you give me your contact information, I can let you know when this is completed, if you’re still interested in it. I’ll give it to you for free after the help you’ve been today,” Marinette offered.
Cass pulled out a business card from the depths of her retrieved bag and handed it to Marinette.
“Will you need me to come in and try it to make sure it fits properly?”
Marinette smiled at her. “I might.”

Marinette set her pincushion down. “Alright, it’s all done, except for the finishing embroidery.”
“Can I add a flower?” Cass asked.
“Sure, what one do you want?”
“I need to research it first. Can I tell you tomorrow?”
“Okay,” Marinette agreed readily.

“Sure. Do you need to do more research?”
“Yes. Tomorrow?”
“Tomorrow works! Oh, do you want your reference flower back?”
“You keep it.”
“Thanks, Cass. See you tomorrow.”

“I’m going to miss embroidering these flowers,” Marinette mused as she clipped the loose threads off her latest addition to the blouse’s garden.
“I’ll buy you more,” offered Cass. “You can embroider more of my clothes if you want.”
Marinette laughed. “Thanks, Cass. I appreciate it. Want to add another blossom?”
“Of course. Tomorrow?”
“Tomorrow.”

Cass looked down at the stalk of tiny white flowers in her hand.
Marinette emerged, brushing the curtain to the back room out of her face (the one she always walked into), a smile on her lips.
Cass held out the flower for Marinette’s approval.
“Ooh, a mignonette! This would be pretty by the camellias on the lower right hem,” Marinette mused, pulling out the form with Cass’s blouse on it.
“So, any flower requests for tomorrow?” Marinette asked at the end of their session.
“No.”
Marinette’s smile dimmed a bit. “Oh, okay. Finally done with your garden? It’s actually been fun doing all this embroidery,” she looked at her handiwork sternly.
“Come with me to buy flowers tomorrow,” Cass asked.
“What?”
“I’ll buy you flowers, but you don’t have to embroider them anymore.”
Marinette’s eyes widened. “Are you asking me out?”
Cass nodded firmly. “Go on a date with me. Please?” She pulled out the puppy eyes Damian had perfected.
Marinette grinned widely. “Yes! Of course!”

Mirror Touch by pinky_heaven19 (59K): synesthesia AU that made me all soft and melting. Easily, one of the first fics I'd recommend.
The Changer and the Changed by homosociallyyours (60K): Hands down the best Girl direction AU for me. Lots of lesbian and feminism talk. Very very good. I saved it on my phone and re-read it every now and then.
No pressure, no diamonds by karamelised (71K): Another fic I would read in loop. It’s just fun and hot but also angstyyy. Louis is a menace and Harry CAN’T (can he?) have any of it. They got me all in the first scene. The description of Harry got me like “alright yeah, that’s it. that’s the one”. Venice x Larry is always a good idea.
Love After the End of the World by mercurial-madhouse (writing_practice) (162K): This one is the dystopian-soulmate AU you need to read. Louis is such a pain in the ass in this one, I swear. You can't not love it lmao
Sodalite & Aventurine by forreveries (81K): Give me all the pirates fics, because I will drink them up like water in the desert.

Robert Garioch was born 9th May 1909 in Edinburgh he was a Scottish poet who placed huge importance on the use of the Scots language as a medium for poetry
Born the son of a decorator and a music teacher, Robert attended the Royal High School before going to the University of Edinburgh. He was conscripted into the Royal Corps of Signals in 1941, he married early the following year.
Whilst serving in Operation Torch in North Africa, Garioch was captured by German troops in November 1942 and spent the following three years as a Prisoner of War.
Garioch is known for furthering the importance of local voice through his use of lowland Scots in his work. His well-known poem The Wire was gleaned from his experience as a prisoner of war, looking at the suffering of soldiers, as was his book, Two Men and a Blanket: Memoirs of Captivity, however unlike many of his contemporaries, Garioch wrote very little poetry concerning his war experiences. Instead he focussed primarily on social causes and the plight of the ‘wee man’, a fact that may account for his enduring popularity (particularly on the readings circuit). This is what I like about him though, he was more of a poet for the people and the many photos I have found of him online show this with him in a room of people all enjoying his prose. He also features in one of my favourite Scottish paintings, Poets’ Pub, an imaginary vision of the major Scottish poets and writers of the second half of the twentieth century gathered around the central figure of Hugh MacDiarmid, Garioch is on the far right. Although it is not an actual depiction of any one scene I used to drink in Milnes on Hanover Street before it was spoiled by “improvements” and you used to get a feel for the place and the history of these great writers sitting sharing their thoughts and enjoying a pint. They will be turning in their graves seeing what it has become.
Robert Garioch is commemorated in Makars’ Court his words ‘in simmer, whan aa sorts foregether / in Embro to the ploy’.
Robert Garioch Sutherland, writer and poet died on 26th April 1981.

I have a Genetics question, have you seen or studied any Chimeras? Not Man-made ones but 2 embros fused into one Egg kind.
Also besides mons who already have multiple heads/brains, have there been any recorded Conjoined twins being hatched? What happened/happens to them?
Peach: I have been studying a few things but the chimera question still hasnt come into play at all.
Peach: We just havent found an instance where it happens in a human controlled area. I'm unsure if its happened outside of it.
Peach: We have had records of babies with conjoined status- they dont actually make it oast a week unfortunately, its just too much strain on their poor little bodies, and i refuse to try and keep them alive when it becomes clear they wont make it. I just try to make the last few days or hours as comfortable as possible.
Peach: Its hard. If they were a human, they would receive the best care money could feasibly provide, but when it comes to pokemon its unethical, they cant rejoin the breeding pool, andntheyd be stuck under the researchers eye forcibly being kept-

The Life and Legend of our Arch Magistrix Fiorenze Tel’vaiel
In our Q&A series, Rise + Shine, Sunrise Herald Entertainment dishes with some of Silvermoon’s favorite names — asking the juicy questions that have been on everyone’s minds and learning more about who they really are in the process. This week Arch Magistrix Fiorenze Tel’vaiel sat down with us for tea.
Arch Magistrix, or Lady when she’s off the clock (if that’s ever a status she presides over), Fiorenze Tel’vaiel is the fifth holder of the Tel’vaiel titles and the sixth of the Sunmote titles. Her birthday masquerades have become one of the kingdoms’ most sought after spectacles, from tradesman to Ambassador, horde and alliance alike in attendance.
Recently elevated to the title of Arch Magistrix, she’s one of the first — and youngest ever — to hold the title since the siege of Quel’thalas. “It’s a title that I discussed closely with the Grand Magister,” she tells us with a delicate, custom made deep crimson and gold teacup in her hand, “We knew the marriage of our Regent Lord and the First Arcanist was going to further unite our kingdom and Suramar, it seemed like a good time to add an option to deepen the rank and responsibility of our own Magistry for those enlisted, whether new or seasoned.”
There’s history in it, the title itself goes back to Azshara’s own court. “He agreed that it felt like a good time to bring it back into use. I will admit I was surprised to be granted the honor, but I’m glad for it. He made it clear in the ceremony that my many contributions to the defense of the kingdom and my work on spellcraft within the Magistry made me an immediate candidate. Who am I to argue?” she shares.
It’s been noted by many that she has a close relationship with Grand Magister Rommath. Something that makes her laugh in an easy, charming manner when brought up. “That’s always been one of my favorite rumors, and is simply a danger of working so closely together over the years. We have been friends since my mother and her cousin were potentially interested in arranging a marriage between myself and Prince Kael’thas. He tolerates me well enough, even through some of my wilder phases.”
Those ‘wilder phases’ are something that have made her the talk of the town in the past. “Sometimes you have to fake your death for a couple of years to get a break,” she says, joking without elaborating on that scandal. “That good relationship with the Grand Magister for all those years helped me when I was ready to reintegrate myself into society and reclaim my titles from my little sister.”
Her sister, Kirin Tor Scholar Pyraelia Sunmote, is also a woman of unconventional choices. Four years ago she abdicated her claim to the Sunmote titles, forfeiting them back to the Arch Magistrix. Shortly after that, her choice to rejoin the Kirin Tor in Dalaran caused another minor scandal in the local tabloids considering the Arch Magistrix’s own rank within our fair kingdom and threatened to damage the family’s reputation. “The only thing I ever worried about in all of that was whether or not she was going to be happy. We both grew up in Dalaran and spent many years in academia there. Our family still maintains a tower under the Sunmote name. Of course there are matters of national security to consider, but there have always been, and we know how to remain professional with each other. While the truce holds, I see no reason to borrow trouble and think on problems that may never manifest,” she says with an easy, infectious confidence.
The Tel’vaiel Estate, where we met for this conversation, is lush and dripping in deep wealth. Delicate silks that the Sunmote weavers are known for hang from every curtain rod and upholster most of the pillows and chaises. Her marriage to the late Lord Halandir Tel’vaiel ensured she would inherit it all upon his untimely death fifty two years into their union. The Arch Magistrix looks perfectly at home here, wrapped in a layered dress from the Sev’astian fashion house. The immaculately embroidered over robe she wears was a gift from the designer themself, and the thousands of glass beads that accentuate the patterns catch the soft Eversong sunlight in a way that makes her look radiant.
We point out that the inheritance made her one of the most eligible women in the kingdom, and she laughs. “Don’t I know it, there are many who have tried, and continue to try, to court me.” This doesn’t seem to bother her at all, but nothing in our conversation has. “I’ll admit that I’m not opposed to the idea of remarrying again someday, if the right person asks.” Wink, dear reader, wink.
Understandably her dance card is incredibly full. She has been photographed in attendance at many of the premier events of the Court of the Sun’s social season (most recently she sat with Sunrise Herald Entertainment photographers for an exclusive shoot, check out page 25 for the full spread!) and on the arms of a few other nobles. “Friends of the family,” she assures us, “I know who in my circle will appreciate certain kinds of outings. My opera people, my ballet people, my orchestra people and so on. Makes for easy ‘yes’es if they have the time and wonderful discussions after the fact!”
Outside of that she’s somehow managed to keep her private life cloaked in mystery. “Everyone should be allowed their little secrets. It makes us more interesting — and the rumors all the more fun to hear,” she says, revealing absolutely nothing.
