The fic is called "Turn the lights off" and it's heavily inspired by Turn the lights off by Tally Hall. It's about how Tommy accidentally falls into the monster world, finds a friend and uncovers the true past of this small town he lives in.

I just finished writing the first scene. It's 2,300 words. Cheesus Crust. I very badly need an editor. And I've got one too! I think. I hope they actually find time to do the betareading thing.

Looking for writers willing to do an OC sci-fi DSMP fanfic

As the title suggests, i am looking for any writers who would like to write on an idea that i had for quite a while, it has a lot of worldbuilding and it basically adds upon the existing headcanon by adding original ideas, so here is the main and starting plot of the fic:

In a land far from what is known, there are nations that found the true potential of Redstone, able to create societies like no other, weapons, firearms, vehicles, armor, everything built and powered by Redstone (and other materials like netherite, ingot, etc..). One of the biggest cities within these nations was Olympus, with towering walls and even bigger skyscrapers, it was such a sight to see with all the flying vehicles for tourism, trading and many more. Soon, the members the scientific community in the nations have found an ancient artifact never seen before, they have found the End Portals which led them to The End, but it wasn't long until they started to power them with Redstone, and able to access The Heart of End, with a giant tower looming in the distance, there would be the home of DreamXD. DreamXD feared the progress they made through his homeworld, so he tried to pick them off by sending his troops on field, while it did slowed them down, they did not stop, it won't be long that he had it enough and decided to invade them, with him in the Overworld, he is immortal unlike in his world, marching towards Olympus while pillaging smaller cities with ease. Our protagonist Nate (later known as Overkill/OVKL) was the one in charge of defending Olympus at all costs, however his life would change forever once DreamXD invaded his city and attacked them mercilessly, the battle was hard fought, some would say even, him and his most elite squad have been able to infiltrate DreamXD's ship and attempt to kill him, they deeper they went in the ship, one by one has fallen for the others to continue, killing thousands of different Endermen, some completely unknown to them, finally they would reach him and jumped into battle like no before, but to no avail. Nate watched his comrades fall one by one, never feeling more heartbroken than before, defeated by DreamXD himself, trying to get up and fight again, but thrown down into the ruins below, hours after the battle has ended, he saw his city he swore to protect, his home, in ruins and ashes, alone and injured, he had nowhere to go but into the woods and heal from the battle, he now sworn revenge on DreamXD and hope he would be able to bring back peace again...

around 20 years later

PRESENT DAY

For the last 2 decades Nate would be able to find survivors of DreamXD's invasion, providing them with food, water and shelter underneath a mountain, it was like a underground city filled with refugees around the known world, however with the people that he for the first met have helped him more than ever, forming 'The Redstone Order', and their duty was to find and defeat DreamXD, his corruption has spread since the invasion, making people who were once friends become enemies for his own amusement, it was only a matter of time until they have found his domains, without any End Portals left in Overworld, there was no clear shot to his homeworld, but one hidden thanks to his descendant guardian which in their belief is bonded by life to keep the portal hidden.

So you all know about how Eret’s planned ending was the reveal that the Dsmp was actually like a weird sort of time loop thing and that’s why Karl’s Tales were always so similar.
