The Second Coming was always going to happen
The Metatron doesn't need Aziraphale specifically in order to make it happen, but he must know that Aziraphale is a significant threat to the plan.
"Keep your enemies closer."
Keep Aziraphale where he can see him and where he's away from temptations (especially since Crowley said no - did this surprise the Metatron? I don't think so) and maybe he can keep Aziraphale controlled.
This, of course, is incorrect because Aziraphale doesn't just love Crowley and coffee. He loves humanity. His moral compass is stronger than his desire to be seen as a good angel. Instead of neutralizing a threat, the Metatron invited the threat in.

everyone knows jeremy allen white is an amazing dramatic actor but i also feel like his comedic acting is underrated as well.
you would have to be a great one after being on a wacky show like shameless for 11 years.
my favourite comedic moments with carmy:
1) in Hands when Richie and Carmy fight over caulk (😭😭😭) with sydney in the middle of it all. Carmys anger and him saying caulk over and over is just hilarious to me. and i’m fully convinced this is high on the list of why Jeremy, Ayo and Ebon all got Emmy noms bc the way they execute this scene…best trio ever
btw what s2 was missing was scenes with all 3 of them. i hope s3 brings them back as a trio, their scenes r the best
2) All of Dogs like….imo the funniest episode of the Bear period. Carmy getting into a fight with Richie (“name a cohort. name an associate. one fucking person, i dare you” LMFAOOOO). Carmy being annoyed with Pete. The Xanax incident. Gold
3) When Carmy and Claire go to that house party in Pop. Carmy pretending to be Logan was soooo funny to me. I die at the way he just goes along with it and really gets into spinning this lie. Great for him to get out of his comfort zone and just extremely funny

Since I posted some of my old fanart yesterday... if you're not familiar with Slayers, and thus have never heard its amazing music, do check it out.
It's largely by the same songwriter, Masami Okui, that did Utena's iconic opening (Rinbu Revolution) and ofc (TRUTH) and sung by a duo of her and Hayashibara Megumi (you know, the GOAT)
The entire OST pretty much slaps. there's only a couple of bad image songs in an absolute expanse of pure gold. GIVE A REASON, the opening to the second season, tends to be the reigning favorite. (I've a hard time pinning down my absolute favorite... of the original openings, it might be Breeze, but all three are so good. Of the entire catalog? Impossible to choose. Midnight Blue, Raging Waves, Within my Unlimited Desires, Gloria, Get Along... Impossible Choice)

I’m afraid they’ll come and try

Anti-Romantic | TEASER | CHAPTER 3 OUT NOW!!
«GENERAL M.LIST» · «NAVIGATION» · «TALK TO ME» · «SERIES MASTERLIST»
Pairing: Hyunjin x Fem!reader
Genre: non idol au, fluff, smut, romcom, drama, opposites attract
Warnings: swearing, explicit sexual content, dysfunctional relationships, taboo couples/relationship therapist and patient dynamic
P.S. ♡ If you like my work, please consider giving me feedback in the form of reblogs, comments, and asks! ♡
As the most beloved dating coach in the sunny state of California, Hyunjin has dealt with all kinds of nightmares— from real desperate housewives and their indifferent husbands to toxic shotgun marriages doomed to fail— and he’s fixed them all. Dubbed the “Love Doctor,” Hyunjin has a PhD in both sociology and broken hearts. Every single day for Hyunjin ends the same: yet another flashy career success and to celebrate, sliding on his rose-tinted glasses and sipping on pink champagne, his perpetual poison.
That was all before you, of course.
For your entire life, you’ve been unlucky in love. From your endless unrequited high school crushes to your situationship who turned out to be gay, love has just never been in the cards for you. It’s all changed you from a hopeless romantic into a pessimist who doesn’t believe in true love. You now make fun of every couple you see, religiously watch wedding fails on Youtube, and absolutely hate romantic comedies.
But no amount of lackluster girls’ nights or hours thrown into your crappy job can fill the hole in your heart. You’re absolutely lonely. In one last attempt to give love a chance, you ditch your Tinder dates and decide to turn to L.A.’s famous “Love Doctor,” this hotshot relationship therapist all of your friends rave about.
Barrelling into Dr. Hwang’s office like a cyclone, you bring along your signature stormy attitude and want a remedy to your emotional dry spell, even though you still believe in your heart that counseling won’t work for you. You don’t expect, however, your new intimacy expert to be hotter than hell, definitely not a middle-aged woman ready to lecture you about putting out.
No, Dr. Hwang is more like the Grandmaster of love, the amorous warlock of the West Coast, and with the way he silently strips you with his bedroom eyes the moment you walk in, perhaps even the sex scholar of the Valley. As he slowly disarms your defenses, you do your best not to let him know of your inappropriate fantasies about him. But even worse than your impossibly vivid wet dreams, you’re falling in love with your fucking therapist. Or Hyunjin, as he so charmingly commands you to call him.
And you try to keep your feelings for him at bay, you really do. But Hyunjin just doesn’t give up, relentlessly tugging at your mind and heart and taking up every quantum of your life. Because after all, the Love Doctor loves a good challenge.

i think that if the brothers sun gets renewed (which i so hope it does) they need to delve deeper into the Boxers or at least their philosophy. because otherwise the show says some very questionable things, like socially. the Boxers are literally doing community outreach, they are building youth centres, they are helping immigrants legally and financially. they are the antagonists so the audience wants to root against them but they are the actual good guys overall
