E-begging again. We’re going to lose our phones and internet and we’re running out of food. My mom’s gofundme hasn’t received donations in a month after going bankrupt so I’m trying on here.
We need at least $450 to keep our phones useable and internet up. I hope I don’t have to explain why having a phone is important but especially for two disabled people where one has a history of emergency room visits. I just don’t know what else to do.
We’ve barely been getting along recently and now we won’t be able to contact anyone we need to. I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve been eating cereal for dinner and cans of peaches. Please spread this around and don’t tag it. We need help.

Hello, I've come seeking your knowledge regarding writing, if you'd so kind so kind to share your opinion on the subject.
I'd assume it makes it easier to the reader to imagine it. but would that not bore the reader if I were to start describing small trinkets laying around, and items that belong to it, smells, windows, and more.
These kinda small details at times may help understand the likes and habits of the character. So what I'm asking is whether or not should I go into detail or skim over it?
Hello!
To be succinct, you should only describe items that matter to the story. If the trinkets are important to the plot, then I would take the time to describe them well. If they’re simply to build atmosphere, then I would describe them in passing and not spend much time on them, only a sentence or two I’d say.
Hope this helps!

Xigbar's nicknames for Roxas are actually puns in Japanese.
Tiger is pronounced as "Tora". Tora, Sora.
Kiddo is pronounced as "Key-to". Key, Keyblade. Key, X.
And Roxas does not like being called either.

Yang: This reminds me of the Time we learned about the decision making Framework of the Sugondeez.
Jaune: Who are the Sugondeez?
Yang: Sugondeez Nuts.
Jaune: GOD DAMN IT!
~~~~~
The Jinxy Peddler: It you want that, All I need is your greatest joke. I already have one in mind.
Yang: Oh? Which one?
Weiss: The one the gods hate the most...
Yang: But I was saving for the Grand Finale!
~~~~~
RK!Jaune: So you had to get stuff from Jinx? What'd it cost?
Yang: Well, the price wasn't too bad. For a moment I was worried he'd turn me into a Mind Goblin.
RK!Jaune: What's a Mind Goblin?
Yang: *Opens mouth to speak, no words come out*
RK!Jaune: Yang, What's a Mind Goblin? Help me out! I've never heard of one!
Yang: It's- It's a psychic-
RK!Jaune: I don't understand, like, Finish the thought, why would you open your mouth to answer if you can't articulate what's a Mind Goblin? Didi you run into one? Is there something I haven't seen yet?
Yang: *A Single tear running down her cheek* Yeah, Yeah it's something you haven't seen yet.

no bc sorry but as an asian i NEED to speak about this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
like. within most, if not all, asian cultures, the feet are seen as the most degrading and derogatory part of the human body. and therefore, having someone older than you bend down to even go anywhere near to your feet, never mind touching or cleaning them, is seen as a complete No No.
feet are only given importance in Very Select Circumstances, for example, say in the Hindu religion, where someone younger bends down to touch their elder's feet to seek blessings from them, for example.
and it isn't so much as to do with the feet themselves, its more to do with the action of someone older having to bend down to you, that is seen as the complete No No, just because of how much respect and value asian cultures place on the elder person. in our cultures, the elder one is seen as wise, having life experience, knowledgeable, someone to learn from and an example to replicate. therefore, so much importance is placed on calling someone older than you being called with a title (p', hyung, noona, oppa, unni, ge-ge, jie-jie, bhai/bhaiya, didi/bhaaji/aapi etc), rather than just calling them by their name only.
hence why team looked so ... much in shock and quick to usher win away when he says "my feet are dirty". those older than you are not meant to bend down to you, rather you should be doing so, in service and out of respect for them. hell, if we're talking Real Traditional Asian here, then even the thought of the husband bending down near to his wife's feet is seen as a No No.
but its win's Face when he says "stay still". how stern he is. how he knows exactly what he's doing. how this all Looks but team's bleeding from his feet and THAT is more important, fuck any cultural norm. and so team is still reluctant and hesitant, but he stops protesting and shuts up and lets win touch his feet and clean his feet.
and oh my god, you guys, idk how to say this other than if you're asian, you'll Get what a big deal this is. win barely even knows team, team barely even knows win, and yet the elder of the two is bending down to clean his feet. team is seated and placed so high above from win and win is literally kneeling on the ground cleaning team's feet .....
yall. you just ... Don't Do That to and for anyone. you just DON'T.

Funny how my brother still doesn't want to learn from the situation we all are in at home because ameeron vali lifestyle dekh sikh ke bande ko lagta hai bas vahi sab hai jahan hum hai vahan asliyat ka samna khatarnak lagne laga hai par bhai yeh bhi sach hai aur voh bhi bas yeh niche se juda hua sach zindagi mein bada kuch sikha deta hai jo bade bade flats ameer parties aur posh lifestyle aur posh dost nahi
And god it's for this reason that my brother is never ever informed about anything in this house because it's always hide things from him now, he has to focus on his studies, don't tell him that voh jhel nahi payega
And that's why he is in his own goddamn world like mummy batao sach kya hai dil tutne do aankhe khulne do ki humare pehle ke lifestyle humare friends jo type ke ghar se hai kaise kya differences hai kitna easy hai chizein aur kitni difficult
Sometimes I feel I grew up earlier than him because whatever shit would go on be it surprise transfers or the most negative news at home it was told to me first and it would then be passed on to my brother after his exams would take place or when he is in "safe" zone to be informed.
Aur jis bande ne life se hi sikhne ko mana kiya baithi hi life uske liye thokaron ke sath sikhane ko. We at home have protected him a lot ab 4 mahine baad bhagwan bharose chorr do
