Love how men go with barbie was idiotic because women do not know how real world works. This is all in their head that they are oppressed. We face problems too.
Honey, men have loads of problems but obviously just one time just one fucking time when it is about women, all of you act up you shit as insecure men. You know in movie scenes when a guy works hard and stuff and in those scenes where the father is do desperate to earn for his family to feed them and make them happy they are like yeh dekho humari struggles tum kya samjhogi
But whenever there is a scene about women ke struggles and them making a point in their family, them standing up for themselves for their daughters 90% of you all make faces like inko kya hai zyada woke kar diya zyada mach rahi hai.

I couldn't resist to put this fact and now that I am 18 toh meine yeh sab batani hai. Minor warning dene ka fayda nahi hai meine bhi harkate padhi anyways:
So alta has always been an integral part of women's shringar in India since time immemorial. Now alta also a hugeee sensual role too while love making.
So back in those days, if a man bore marks of love making like hickeys etc he was praised and was thought to be desirable too if he possessed a mark that said sorry ladies, I am taken (yes they did possess a jewellery or something for it but I forgot sorry I will find it again and tell you)
Now the most ooh lalala mark a man could possess was alta marks on his head. How would alta go to his head? So basically his woman has to put her feet on his head while they made love. Remember this action was highly treasured and only done by couples highly deeply in love because which man would let a woman keep her feet on his head? Only a lover.
So during lovemaking, those alta stains from the feet would rub off and would leave marks on his skin. Alta stains do not come off easily so if a man possessed alta marks on his forehead, everyone understood that he had a pretty beautiful night *wink wink*
Sorry I have put alta on my hands and feet and I couldn't stop thinking about this. Watched thia fact and read it from Seema anand's book, the art of seduction

So would you all like to read a book (romance yes because it's me and I can't do without a love story) about a daughter of a famous apsara curious about mortality and humans and wanting to experience a life like them gets to live on earth for a brief moment in this modern period and she is specifically instructed to not attach herself emotionally to anyone and to NOT fall in love, until she meets a boy at her school, and you know how the tale goes.
Will she give up her apsara status and choose mortality or shall it be a sad ballad serving as a warning for future apsaras to not fall in love with charming mortals on earth to avoid heartbreak and other complications for balancing Swargaloka and Bhuloka?
Dance rivals? YES for a while. Not really enemies to lovers like not in that intense way. They are teens and maybe some difference of opinion until they both learn to accept one another. Divinity-Mortality? YES. Fight for love? That's for the story to uncover.
So??????

I REALLY NEED YOUR OPINION.
Should I dance on Ghodey Pe Sawar for the fest because I am damn sure, someone will definitely do ghar more pardesiya, tere rang, mohe rang do laal and all the classical semi classical songs for the fest
And I am 90% sure that nobody would think for qala much because ghodey pe sawar is more of abhinaya (expression heavy dance) than a song which will involve use of a lot of classical movements.
So should i?

I was talking to this friend who follows me on insta and most of my insta stories are about dance and sometimes when I get some really good dance posts featuring male classical dancers I always make sure to post them on my stories
Now this friend just like most other guys said the same thing that you know those male classical dancers you post on your stories kafi uncomfortable lagta hai dekhne maybe shayad voh personality aagyi ya kuch mind nahi karna par ajeeb lagne lagta hai
And I was so dumbfounded like.... My odissi guru is a male. The same female classical dancers you find pretty have had male gurus too
I didn't want to argue with him because there was no point in it. There is already a huge stigma around male classical dancers as if Shiva was never a man. Besides dance is dance, anyone is allowed to do it and it doesn't make one less masculine or feminine.

Iconic Bollywood women but make it aesthetic
Madhubala
Writes letters, silver jhumke, light coloured flowy kurtis, reads poetry, loves jalebis, has the most beautiful smile, gentle soul, doesn't know how many people fall for her, loves children, moon gazing, dreams of living in an haveli, night time existential crisis, wants to twirl in a white anarkali while someone showers marigold petals, black and white Bollywood movies, falls in loves deeply, stores every small memoir of her friends and loved ones.
Rekha
Desi dark feminine energy, has the most updated wardrobe, blessed with wit and sarcasm, center of attention in a room full of people, best dressed, piercing eyes that gaze deep into your soul, laughs loud and hard, silk sarees, gajra in her hair and wrists, walks like a queen, rarely posts on social media, highly intimidating, eats the spiciest pani puri/gupchup/golgappa, Miss Popular, will turn you breathless with a side glance.
Sridevi
Literal embodiment of sunshine but hides her inner feelings, secretly in love with a boy in her neighbourhood, wears colouful bindis and juttis, has learnt singing and dancing, loves sitting beside ponds and rivers, possesses mischevious eyes, you can never be angry on her, can transform into an outspoken diva within seconds, acts like a heroine in her room or when home alone.
Madhuri
Has a proper skin care routine, loves chocolates, loves eating achaar, light lipsticks, the most graceful in the room, fake scenarios expert, blushes easily, hates waking up early, plant mother, loves playing with puppies, makes birthday cards for everyone, breezy outfits, has the best thumkas to rock a wedding sangeet, warm hugs and forehead kisses.
Aishwarya

God some hindu kids really need to be open minded. There's a wattpad book called Suramya inspired from percy Jackson but we have Indian gods and their children
So the main characters (the gods' children) are the blessed sons of the gods and not their biological offspring. They have their own biological parents on earth but some are blessed by certain gods for a purpose which readers need to find out in the story
What is so offensive and problematic in this?
But no these so called devotees will be like haww aise kaise stop using our gods for popularity. God ko aesthetic banna diya
Gadhon usne character ka aesthetic bannaya tumpe bhagwan ka aashirvaad nahi hai kya? Vaise hi inpe hai story ko saale yeh chachundar log samajh nahi pate

Hi! So those of you who have read Goddesses, Rishikas & Women here on tumblr, I am really glad and thankful. It motivated me to write other stories for these women (yeah some new stories too have been written down in a span of a year) and I am thinking to get it published later on as a ebook.
Today I finished writing the first draft of this entire book. And it's crazy that this aligned with Navratri so maybe it is a sign from Devi maa up above. I am still shit scared and overwhelmed about this process but I will lay my trust on the goddesses and ancient women on which the book and its stories are based.
So yes, those who have read it and showered your love and appreciation on it, I am deeply thankful
Lol this feels so formal atp but yesss KzmbzhajKkamanamsmzsksk I am really happy

Not this man going hai kalyug ki draupadi ab na kanhaiya madhav aayenge kyunki laaj sharam pani ki tarah kho chuki and shit what not saying ab kapde pehenne bolo toh mahabharat chidh jati hai. He ended with this line that aur isike karan aane vali pidi (generation) kabhi maa ka aanchal nahi dekh payegi kyunki voh jeans pehenti hai
And I will forever hate men for this because I am done having to see men and their stupid comments and views for women's clothing jab saala khud jeans tshirt mein photo rakha hai DP
Maryada laaj sirf stri ke shareer pe latke uske kapde se hoga uska shareer ko sirf sexualize karna aata hai voh choti bachi ho ya 80 ki dadi.
Tum Sare mard ek jaise hi ho aur kuch nahi
(Jisko offense lena ho bhai lelo)

Well my roommate kinda outed me out in communication skills class about what all I do, my beliefs and way of life just to go against my principles and say hers like darling you could have made your point and kept going why narrate all my activities in front of the whole class.
There's a reason I practice boundaries around people -- not to restrict myself, but I believe not everyone should have access to me every fucking time, and just treat me casually like any other person you see in class.
And then you talk about all my goals and dreams in front of 60 students to only contradict it and place your thoughts?!
You don't want to be ambitious okay. You want to settle down, let fate do its own thing, marry your boyfriend and have a small family. Do it. I would be happy
But to contradict my dreams and have the nerve to say that people like me need to see more failures and explore life.
Tbh I am not proud of myself at all. I am grateful for the little wonderful experiences life has given. For me that cliched young romance and that sweet domesticated naina vali yjhd life like you glamorise so much is not it. I have seen failures, disappointments and despair, but that only made me stronger to keep trying to keep pushing even against goddamn destiny.
Heck even my boyfriend has a different opinion towards life as compared to mine, but yet he understands my dreams and passion so deeply, and always pushes me to go get it.
Like yesterday's class just felt like a whole tamasha on me. This is the reason why I don't open up to everyone. Not everybody gets you, and will never get you always.
