Miguel x Deaf!Reader Date Headcanons
Miguel is a romantic and loves planning out dates to take his partner out on. When he's out and about, he may get an idea and make a note in his phone to go back to later. He just spends so much time and energy planning the most perfect and sweet dates, making sure they're fun.
Picnic dates, but each destination is different. He chooses places that are beautiful and scenic, sometimes they're places he thinks will be fun to explore. To him, it's the perfect opportunity to discover new things or find new spots to call their own.
He packs the perfect picnic lunches, too. He includes his partner's favorite fruits, snacks, sandwiches and salads. He mixes it up from time to time, sometimes even going with a theme. One picnic could be full of finger foods, the next might be food that's all one color. However, his favorites are always going to be the picnics he makes with his partner.
These dates allow him and his partner to have a calm outing where they usually don't have to worry about crowds. They can seat themselves away from anyone that might be nearby and have a nice meal. They serve themselves, have sweet conversations, and check out the scenery at their leisure.
One place he loves to take his partner is the aquarium (and personally I'd love to go too). It's a beautiful place that never gets old, at least to him, and there's so much to see.
Events at the aquarium lean more into the visual side, but if there's ever information shared verbally or through sound, Miguel is right there to tell his partner about it so they get as much out of the experience as he's getting.
Aquariums make for great photo ops, too! And Miguel loves nothing more than having pictures of himself with his partner. Selfies in front of a water tank of jellyfish? Don't mind if I do!
He also loves taking pictures of his partner. His camera roll is full of their smile and candid shots of them that he can't help but take.
Walks on the beach, especially when the tide can catch them and tickle their ankles. Again, it's a pretty sight and a walk together is just so special. Hand holding on the beach? Yes please.
Miguel is such a hand holding kind of guy tbh.
Warning: walks on the beach may lead to sitting down and watching the sunset. Be prepared! Oh wait, Miguel already is because he brings a blanket every time just in case.
