Part 2 of The Big Red Wolf a Demon King! Tanjiro Kamado x Reader story

You and Red had been travelling together for about 2 weeks now in search of demons.

You had fought, and killed, quite a few so far but this one was by far the strangest one you’d ever grappled with. “You there!” The demon shouted. “Help me! You’re a demon as well!”

You swung at him missing him by an inch as he jumped backwards.

Who the hell was he talking to?

“Stop hiding and help me!” He growled “you coward show yourse-“

the creatures sentence was cut off as you swung your sword and expertly separated his head from his body.

You relaxed for a moment before you remembered what the thing had said.

You looked around frantically for the other demon that the one that the dead one had been talking to.

Red trotted up to you and bumped against your thigh.

“Not now Red.” You said trying to detect the other demon.

Red bumped into you again, harder this time.

“I said not now Red!” You hissed turning your head this way and that in hopes of catching sight of the remaining demon.

Red moved until he was in front of you and then moving under your arms, which still held your sword out and ready, he placed his paws on your chest, standing up on his hind legs and moving his face right in front of yours, blocking your view of the surrounding forest as he tilted he head to the right, his pointed ears flicking back in, what you assumed to be, fear or concern.

“Red! I said not-“ the rest of your words died in your throat.

You blinked and then in Reds place there was a boy, he couldn’t have been much older then you, maybe 16? 17? 18 at most.

He had smooth, pale skin that glowed in the moon light, a well toned body, and rough, calloused hands, which now that you noticed it, were resting on your chest where Reds paws hand been.

There was a flame shaped scar on his forehead and along his jawline, that reminded you of the dark patch of fur Red had above his left eye. The boys eyes were a bright, violent red and his hair...

Your breath caught in your throat, his hair was the exact same color as Reds fur.

The boy?… the man?…Red?… whatever it was brought his face closer to yours and blinked as he stared deep into your eyes.

You mouth dropped open, “Red?” You questioned cautiously.

The…… boy, you guessed, still unsure what to think of him as, tilted his head to one side,

“As cute as that name was,” he murmured in a voice that sounded like a honey coated knife, “It is, unfortunately, not my name.”

You stared at him, the realization of what he was dawned on you and you gulped.

You were in a lot of trouble.

This is Demon Hunters:

In this Alternative Universe of the anime Kimetsu No Yaiba (by: @rairacrow ); Nezuko, Tanjiro and others characters swap their roles, some with sense, some not.

Is called 'Demon Hunters' (from 'Demon Slayer') because the history is, in essence, the same, so I need a name that fit.

This au is also developed in the other networks of the author (deviantart, instagram and twitter), where they find her as Rairakku Crow.

“Kyoujurou’s brat had come home, but Nezuko hadn’t. And now Kyoujurou and that yellow kid were leaving with another pillar, and Akaza was trapped in this stupid cave, pacing back and forth as the sun sank slower than it ever had before in all three-hundred years of Akaza’s demonhood.

And Akaza wasn’t supposed to care, because he was a demon and she was not, because just last night he’d been promising himself to put distance between him and his dangerous little Nezi.

He’d just…never expected Nezuko to do it for him, without even a backwards glance to show off that predatory smile as she went.

He couldn’t handle it, both the not-knowing, and the irritating sensation in his chest, this crushing force that pressed down against lungs that didn’t really need to breathe.

There was a pressure accumulating within his ribs that threatened to split them like a snap pea, and the only thing he could possibly think of that would alleviate it was finding out what had happened, why his Nezi had left but not returned with that little boy she was so fond of, why his Kyoujurou was gathering the cavalry and racing off into the sunset—

He needed to know why he even cared in the first place.”

The Big Red Wolf

Demon King! Tanjiro Kamado x Reader

You were walking through the woods on your way to your next mission when you heard a low growling behind you.

You paused and parted your lips slightly, breathing in shallowly, you focused on the different tastes, there was a slight tang of demon in the air along with something else.

And yes you said taste, you’d always had a very good sense of taste.

It used to scare your mother sometimes when you would declare that the trees tasted like they were about to bloom or the ground tasted rotten.

Before your mother passed away she told you that your father hadn’t left, as she had told you all your life, but rather he had been killed and eaten by a demon. Your mother had warned you of their existence and told you to be careful and never travel at night. Instead, you had decided to become a demon slayer to protect those around you so that no child would have to grow up without a father, or mother, like you had.

That growl hadn’t sounded much like a demon, despite the taste in the air, it sounded more canine like. Maybe a wolf, or a fox.

Just then a huge wolf jumped out at you from the bushes. You cried out in surprise and leaped to the left, barely dodging the creatures attack.

“Whoa! Hey easy there!”

The wolf stopped and stared at you growling low and deep in it’s throat. It’s coat was a deep redish brown with some strange darker patterns in the fur on its face.

“Heyy, your a good wolf right?” you cooed. “Yeah, you’re not gonna eat me hmm?”

The wolf titled its head to one side and continued to glare at you, however it stopped growling.

“Yeah, there you go, who’s a good wolfie.” you cooed in a soft baby voice.

The wolf stopped snarling and glaring at you and took a few cautious steps forward.

“Aww yeah, good...” you glanced down past the wolfs stomach, “boy, yeah, you’re a good boy, right?” you continued to talk softly in a baby voice.

The wolf trotted up to you and sniffed your hand cautiously before nuzzling against you.

“Aww, yes, who’s a good boy? Yeah, you are! Yes you are. You’re such a good boy.” you cooed and rubbed his head.

“You want to come with me? I’m hunting some bad demons. I bet you could help me with your amazing sense of smell, hmm? Yes you could.” you continued to babble in a sweat voice.

You stood, “Come on boy.”

The wolf followed you as you started to walk again.

“I think I’ll call you Red, hmm? What’d you think?”

Red barked.

“Yeah I like that too!”

they cup your face with both hands and stare into your eyes. just as you were opening your mouth to ask what's up, they press their lips on yours. when they pull back, after seeing your surprised face, they think you were annoyed at them kissing you without your consent.

they analyse your face intently, with a gaze that feels like they're staring into your soul instead of your eyes. confused and not knowing what to say,
