With another solid crack and a steady dripping of blood that was somehow both radiant and blacker than the darkest sin onto the concrete, Izzi grabbed the angel's blade and tore it from the vile creature's now-limp arm. He wasn't stupid enough to think the thing was done yet, though. Nor that it was somehow less dangerous for having been disarmed. And dis-armed, the demon chuckled to himself as he slid one foot into the shadow cast by a nearby lamppost. Then he was gone. It seemed inexplicable if one didn't know about him. And he had made sure Heaven knew as little about him as possible.

Emerging again as a fast-solidifying wraith from the heavenly monster's own shadow, he wasted no time in driving the spear into its neck. This was the tricky part. He yanked and swung on the length of the handle, using his smaller height to his advantage for his ability to put his entire weight into the work. Angel's were, after all, quite strong. And this one was having no trouble supporting Izzi's slight frame as it struggled against the spear lodged to deeply into too many important bit to be removed. At this point, it was game over for the Exterminator. Either Izzi would finish decapitating it, or it would damage itself badly enough in its efforts to remove the spear that it would finish the job for him. However this went, the creature was dead. It just hadn't realized it yet.

When finally it fell, its head still attached but only barely, Izzi leapt clear as it crashed to the pavement. Only once it had stopped its doomed twitching did he retrieve the spear and finish beheading the foul beast. One down, he told himself with a nasty grin that would make even a crocodile think twice. And the spear meant that many more would go, and with much less struggle.

HH/HB/ZP Blog Round-Up

//Since I've add yet another blog, I thought it might be prudent to put up another list of my Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, and Zoophobia blogs. I wanted to post their about and 'verse pages, too. I still do timeline 'verses, which I know hasn't been a thing in years. But it helps me establish more detailed and more organized timelines for my muses' lives (and afterlives). Think of them like a continuation of the about pages. I've also put links to their headcanon tags, for additional information that isn't on either of those pages. And, of course, open starters. Extermination Day. Oh, the smell of blood and fear in the air. Izzi, for one, was not concered about the exterminators. It took a lot more than that to scare him. He hadn't had many a tussle with these winged bastards, but he'd killed one or two in his time in Hell. They were fun to hunt. Didn't go down easy, either, which only made it better. After all, Izzi did like a challenge. And most demons presented very little challenge anymore. Which was why he was out today, just strolling down the street with his spiked club in hand, whistling to spite the panic going on around him. Today was going to be fun.

//Alright! Well. I am once again proving my muse-hoarding tendencies. I have another new gremlin for you. His page is currently as together as I can get it. I'm still working on his background, as he is a canon character but does not yet have any sort of canon background.

Izzi, also known as the Demon Hunter, is a character who was supposed to be the "big bad" of the scrapped "angels and demons" arc of Zoophobia, the webcomic that spawned Hazbin Hotel. Based on the Addict music video, it appears as though he has been recycled into a background or upcoming character in Hazbin. He also appears to be connected with Cherri Bomb in some way. This portrayal is going to be grounded in his status as a major villain of Zoophobia, his connection to Cherri, and his character design. I am writing him in the Hazbin setting, but will likely make a Zoophobia 'verse for him.

Izzi can be found at @nightmareofthedamned. I'm going to be getting some open starters and memes up shortly.
