I can't believe they did that episode where Delia asks Patsy to go to a lesbian bar with her because "there will be women like us" and Patsy responds with "i don't want to be with women like us, i want to be with you", and she doesn't seem willing to discuss it any further
But in that episode Patsy treats a woman called Daisy who lives on a boat with her family, and when Daisy starts giving birth and Patsy can't get to her right away, the other women who live on boats with their families do what they can to help Daisy. And they tell her that it doesn't matter that they haven't met her before, they know what her life is like so they know her and they are already friends. Then later, when Daisy holds her baby, she asks Patsy to not cut the umbilical cord right away, because "there are worse things than to be a part of something bigger, even for just a little while"
So when the episode ends, Patsy and Delia enter the lesbian bar, clasp hands and dance together

A heavy fog sat over Sammy, confusion addling his brain. He opened his mouth to speak, but it was useless as he couldn’t produce words. He knew what this was as he had experienced more times than he could count, but he still couldn’t fully process it and wasn’t entirely sure what was happening. Then his body tensed and he could feel his limbs twitching.
The boy’s breath quickened with panic and he whined pitifully, tears filling his eyes. No matter how many times he had seizures, he was sure they’d never be less scary. He really wished they would stop. But Amy had said he could go see a doctor and they might give him medicine to make them stop. He really hoped they’d worked and didn’t know why no one had given him medicine before.
