Almost made it through series 6, only the Christmas special to go. It's been a good season, concluding the Sister Mary Cynthia story*, meeting Reggie, nurse Val joining and Barbara marrying Tom. I never would have guessed nurse Crane was going to be my favorite nurse, but she is.

*This storyline gave us an absolute classic line by Sister Monica Joan: I find two opinions are always better than one. Particularly if one is mine. 😂

Loved tonight's ep of midwife.

The Turners working together and supporting each other.🥰. Patrick shouting for her when he sees what's happened is cute, they are such a sweet couple.

Did have to stop eating my snack when they did c section though so I wasn't sick.

Also love how the Turner kids couldn't go to the wedding just as a plot device so only the adult Turners were in the car when the accident happened.

Trixie's brother is sweet and the hen night was lovely, plus sister Monica Joan reading the poem she wanted to.

I hope that the 2 grandma's and the dad support each other to raise the little girl and tell her stories about her mum and how loved she was by her.

Finally good old sister Julienne after a few people said Nonnatus is finished she's like you wanna bet I'll show you. 😏

Love her reassuring Phylis as she probably feels the same as she gets older and sees the younger nurses moving on.

I don't think my mum has ever noticed they call Shelagh 'Mrs Turner' instead of nurse Turner she sounded very confused tonight when Dr T said it.
